This collection of short stories has something for everyone. It runs the gammit of age gap romance to shifters. There are trigger warnings for any that need them so it’s easy to skip to the next story if that particular one isn’t your thing. Each story is well written and keeps your attention. This was a great collection!

Omg lord give me a fan to cool myself down.
This is a selection of novellas which have been brought together in this book to tease your senses with the delectable men and woman to bring most fantasies to life. The book creates worlds which you can delve into and if you don’t have any book boyfriends after this then I will be disappointed in you.
Each story offers a wild ride, with brilliantly developed characters and a feeling of a full novel not just a toe dipping novella. There are all sorts of fantasies from Daddy, step brother, BDSM etc, some of my favourites were My Bad Boy Protector, Submitting to my Billionaire Bosshole to mention a few.
My Bad Boy Protector
Sophie is the Mafia Princess and has come to understand the workings of the Family, but when a new bodyguard steps in she feels the chemistry and wants to pursue this further, He is like no other man she has seen but will there secret get out and all hell would break loose.
Submitting to my Billionaire Bosshole

This is a great mix of genres and are easy to read and will have you wanting more.

Managing Mischief is the second book in the Shattered Embrace Series. This is a Contemporary Romance that I absolutely loved reading. I highly recommend reading the first book in this series if you haven’t already started it. It will give you important information about the characters and what has been going on so far. Ashton and Zachary oh my these have some sizzling hot chemistry between them . Follow along as their story continues. I highly recommend reading this book to find out what happens next. I look forward to reading more from this Author.

They add so much to their stories. They have great growth as well as chemistry that heats up the pages. Each story is unique from the other. They are fast paced, hard to put down and engaging to the end. This is an author that I never hesitate to pick up. You don’t want to miss this collection. This is a must read collection. Managing Mischief (Shattered Embrace Series) by Alyndra Quinn. This is the second book in the Shattered Embrace Series and I highly recommend reading the 1st book because the characters are a continuation from that book. Its the story of Zach & Ashton and their BDSM lifestyle. They are both new to this lifestyle and Zach wants to take things slow which in turn causes Ashton to think he doesn’t want to be with her. When Ashton is offered her dream job out of state will she take it and destroy everything she’s built with Zach. Zach also has a past that could very easily come back to haunt him and may destroy what he’s got going on now. The Chemistry is red hot between Zach and Ashton but will they be enough for them to make it work without outside influences breaking them apart. Read this spicy love story to find out!

In book 1, there’s loads of chemistry and inability to keep their hands to themselves. In book 2, Ashton and Zachary have signed the contract to bind themselves into a relationship and are facing a lot more everyday issues leading to a lot different feelings than in book 1.
Here, we find them shopping together, choosing jewelry to send a message to everyone in SE, dealing with business and misunderstandings, and finding themselves having to choose one another again. There’s so much anticipation and emotion involved beyond passion and it’s a beautiful but bumpy path they find themselves on towards one another.

That being said, this plot is refreshing amidst all the book selections I’ve
been choosing recently.
It wasn’t as spicy as I thought it would be considering it is a book with

We get more of Zachary’s backstory in this sequel but only as it lends to
a plot twist that will be continued throughout the series. Ashton learns
more about herself as they go through their struggles and Zachary admits
his feelings aloud.
But
We get their happily ever after and learn Derek is on deck for the next part
of the series.

I completely and utterly DEVOURED this book, I mean literally read it in about 6 hours, I couldn’t put it down. I really liked the first book in this series, but personally all of the action, the nitty gritty, passion induced, craziness happens in this book. To say I was pleasantly surprised is an understatement, I loved this book.
Please make sure to read the first book in this series as this is a continuation of Zac and Ashton’s story.
First off the characters are ridiculously relatable, Zac, is just trying to navigate these new feelings he has for Ashton, without hurting her or placing her in harms way but by taking it slow and not communicating this, he’s actually hurting her more. Ashton is constantly second guessing herself and Zac, from past rejection and bad experiences shes terrified of rejection and having to hide who she is again. It all plays out beautifully, the build up, the explosion, the aftermath, was all masterfully done.
I have high praise for this author, I think the writing is terrific, I think the characters are fun, and easily relatable, and she builds the story without over complicated and unnecessary “side quests” as I like to call them and she doesn’t drift off and start a million different could be story’s for other characters. But in the same sense, there’s just enough there to be played off of and the makings of some more terrific books.
10 out of 10 I would definitely recommend this book.

Managing Mischief is Book 2 in the Shattered Embrace series that continues the story of Zachary and Ashton. I recommend reading the first book as this second part installment picks up and you get to know more not of only Ashton and Zachary’s relationship but more of the club Shattered Embrace and what it all entails. This story is about D/s, power, dominance and also secrets and a bit of danger.
Zachary and Ashton continue to explore the BDSM lifestyle…Zachary reminding Ashton that she is only his alone. When an opportunity of a lifetime comes to Ashton, the stakes are very high…but it may also destroy what Zachary and Ashton have built together already. With miscommunication and secrets that drive a wedge between Zachary and Ashton….will Zachary’s past come back to haunt him and place Ashton in harms way….or will they get the HEA they deserve…
I am looking forward to seeing what this author has in store next in this series…and getting to know Derek’s story!

This is a collection of hot and quick reads. They contain many different genres and plots. Each of the stories is a short read and you can pick any story when you like and get some spice when you want it. If you are new to this author, it is a nice way to try out their writing style to see if it is to your taste. As with most collections there were some stories that stood out more for me than the others. There is not much in character development as these stories are big on the titillation and some lean towards the taboo. While I enjoy these kinds of stories, I do wish that some were expanded and had more character development to them.

After reading the first book I was really excited to read this one. I connect with the story from the moment I started reading and I think this book has to be even better than the first. I loved watching how the relationship between the characters developed even more. Even with new things thrown at them their connection was strong and shone through.
I thought the story was continued well. It flowed naturally from the first book and felt like the extension it was. I enjoyed reading the whole story and wanted to see how things would play out. This is still a new author to me but this book has just confirmed even more that I want to explore more of her work. This is a great story that I would definitely recommend.

Managing Mischief is the second book in the Shattered Embrace series by Alyndra Quinn. It is the second book in Ashton and Zachary’s story, so I highly recommend reading the first before diving into this one, as there is important story details, character introductions, and other pertinent information contained there that I think you should know in order to full appreciate this instalment.
In Book #1, we met Ashton as she applies to join an exclusive BDSM club, and she doesn’t realise, until it’s too late, that the CEO of the company she has just been hired to consult for, is also the head of the same BDSM club she has just applied to…. things get interesting very quickly…. Not to mention that he’s also her best friend’s brother…. So in this instalment we get a ‘closer look’ at the ‘club scene’ and all those spicy details. We also get more questions answered that were left hanging from the previous book.
It is a steamy, contemporary romance, with a best friend’s brother element, palpable chemistry, banter, a BDSM club, Dom/sub dynamics, Alpha type male, some angst, spicey encounters, emotion, and a little drama- which made for another engrossing read.
The next instalment, Discovering Desire will give us Derek’s story (Zachary’s brother, who is also Ashton’s best friend). Can’t wait for that.

Give Us Bad Boys and Billionaires by L.M Mountford is an omnibus of short novellas — a Boxset of previously released stories which have been dusted off, renamed, and then put together into this collection.
At first I was excited to see this- as I saw a ‘new’ cover and ‘new’ titles to thirteen stories…. But once I dove in, I must admit I was a little disappointed to find stories that I have read many times previously, in one guise or another. But just to make sure I wasn’t mistaken, I read the collection in its entirety and confirm that they are indeed the same stories we have read, not only individually, but also as part of a few ‘other’ anthology/collections.
The stories are short but steamy – covering genres from friends to lovers, age gap, second chances, temptations, erotic fantasies, forbidden liaisons, secrets, menage, romance, drama, angst, BDSM, and even a couple of paranormal tales.
This boxset is a very quick and easy read and because each of the ‘books’ is so short. If you are short on reading time, this is one of those collections that you can pick it up and down without feeling like you are left ‘hanging’ or will ‘miss’ anything.
There isn’t a huge amount of depth, or complexity to the stories or characters, but if you are in need of a little smexxxy in your life, then you’ll probably love what you find between these covers.
I know I say this every time I have read this author’s work, but I really wish these stories were expanded more, so we got more depth and development to fully ‘explore’ the story and invest in the characters fully. I really want them to be more ‘meatier’.

This is quite a short story which makes it a very quick and easy read. One you could easily get through before bed.

Hoping for something new next time, not that these were ‘bad’, but they are the same old stories dusted off to ‘look’ like ‘new’ reads- so, next time I hope for something that really is ‘NEW’ and not rehashed.

This collection of stories and author may be some readers’ cup of tea; however, it is not mine and I cannot make a recommendation based on the following review. This collection of short stories has spice, sometimes some very “intense” spice. But that’s about all it has. There is no character development or plot to these stories. I kept hoping that the more I read that there would be a story where it was more than just a gratuitous spicy scene that bordered on revulsion and repulsion for me. There were many times throughout my reading of this collection that I had to stop and put the book down because it gave me the ick. If you’re looking for nothing more than over-done erotica, with over-the-top, nausea-inducing spice, no character development and no logical plot line, then this is a collection you can add to your stockpile. But be warned…this is nothing more than a teenage boy’s wet dream written on paper.

There’s a great mix of stories from enemies to lovers , bad boy sons , best friends and so much more. If you like smoking hot stories that will leave you craving more then this is the book for you.. This book is filled to the brim with the taboo, the steamy, the sultry, the fantasies, and smut. Multiple stories at only a few chapters for a super quick read, others a bit longer to give a little more depth to the characters, but they’re all very hot. Stories range from dom/sub, sons best friend, babysitter and boss stories, swinging, paranormal passion…gives everyone a taste of something they’d like to read about!
While they were all short and quick reads, the characters were well developed and the stories felt more involved than just reading for some quick heat. I’d say the Lord of Lust is an accurate nickname!

Watching Ashton and Zachary’s relationship flourish is fun and realistic. Realistic is not an adjective I often use to describe book characters, but I believe it is an accurate word in their situation. We FINALLY get some back story on Zachary. There is a lot of learning in this novel, more about the BDSM community of course. But we also learn a lot about Zachary and his family.
I refuse to give away spoilers, so you will have to find out for yourself by reading it. I cannot wait to read more by this author!

WHEW!! Someone get me some ICE! This one was SPICY. Goodness. I adore Zachary and Ashton’s story so much. I’m not gonna lie though, it was a lot. But absolutely worth it. If you’re here for a little kiss on the cheek and some snuggles, this is NOT the book for you. This is hot, and heavy and deep and intense. And 1000% worth all the tears I shed over it.The only “spoiler” I’ll give is one the author gives, and that is, that they get their HEA. so, yeah… There’s that 🙂
Read this series. You wont be disappointed, like AT ALL.

This book is a brilliant collection of short and steamy stories by an author that really knows how draw you in. I loved reading each and every one of these stories. The characters were interesting and well developed, with great chemistry. There weren’t any that I didn’t enjoy reading about.
All the stories were easy to tell apart, with distinct stories and great plots. I enjoyed being able to read one in a single sitting, using any spare time I had to finish the book. Overall this is a fantastic collection of stories. My only complaint is that I could have read them all for so much longer!

Heart stopping from A to Z. From page one the dedication the incredible Alyndra Quinn informs the writer that Zachary and Ashton get there happily ever after. Only she keeps out the gut wrenching struggles it takes them to reach it. Once again, the dual perspective of Zachary and Ashton takes you on an emotional journey. While this could be read as a standalone honest book one gives the foundation that this power couple was built on and the beginning of their journey into uncharted territory together. Picks up at the end of book one.
Ashton never anticipated shopping with Zachary and in an erotic wonderland she finally enjoys shopping for once. Zachary, while unsure at first about the actual relationship aspect, enjoys it more than he ever thought. She fills the part of his life he never realized was missing until she fell in his lap and filled them for him. He gives her more than she ever anticipated and flourishes under his watchful care. Until, a short three months later one miscommunication, and he falls into the clutches of heartbreak thinking it’s all been fake, built on lies for the benefit of his main rival. Ashton on the other hand is heartbroken at not knowing how to get him to listen to her, to let her explain and prove that it was all real. As quickly as everything began it starts to crumple the fires and longing, keeping them, both connected while their heads battle with their hearts.
How do they reach their happy ending? Can Ashton have it all, the man, and the career? What will happen when Zachary’s rival uses what’s his as a pawn? But, just as things were getting settled in, a new contender has shown up. A once in a lifetime opportunity comes up for Ashton to lead a research team. But will this affect their relationship, just as Zachary is getting used to having a long-term relationship. I loved reading their story and I was not expecting that plot twist at the end. I hope to read more by this author!

Managing Mischief is the second sexy tale in the Shattered Embrace series and the second in Zachary and Ashton’s duet. It can be read as a standalone, but you need to read the first book Hidden Mischief before this one. Well, I think so anyway.
Alyndras narrative lends to the feeling of being surrounded by sights, smells and feelings. Its easy to fall into a mind set of exploration and self-discovery with just her written words. Written words that make this BDSM story seem more real than other authors write about.
This is an opposites attract sizzling tale with BDSM that will have you sitting up and taking notice. Alyndra invites and ensnares us to a world of D/s relationships and the sinful Club Shattered Embrace where deepest and darkest desires come to life.
He craves his dominance and the power over her body. Things heat up with her learning his world but is this house of cards about to fall down around them.

Ooh, I loved this book. It continues the romance of Zachary and Ashton. Life brought some challenges but they got through it. This couple is so hot as a Dom/Sub pair. Ashton is still a strong woman and they make this work. I liked reading more of their relationship. They had challenges yet make it work. This author does such a wonderful job writing that she really has you feeling the story as you go along. I can’t wait to read the next book.

Hello L.M. It’s always a pleasure as always.
L.M. has given us some amazingly dark and sexy tales into one omnibus, and it was click and done and it was in my hot little hands. It is a collection of novellas that are sexy, definitely sinful and forbidden.
Sparks fly and the pages are burning up. You will need a good stiff drink or a long cool shower after reading this.

This book in particular, is my FAVORITE in the series! Ethan and Siena’s chemistry was sizzling off of the page! I was not expecting their story to captivate me like it did, but WOW. I couldnt put this book down, I was excited to read this and needed to know what was going to happen. When reading this, it felt as though I was right there with them and everything else fell away and I was lost in the book. I cannot wait to read more books by this author and tell my friends how great this series is!!

This book drew me in from the moment I was reading the synopsis. I was hooked by the intense dislike that the characters had for one another. Joe has gone through a lot of trauma with losing a friend and he is wanting to make sure that the correct parties are held responsible. It became his mission to find the person who wrote the letter that made his friend end his life. Once he meets her the feelings change from hate to love and he has mixed feelings about this. Their story was one that I really enjoyed reading and could not put it down! I cannot wait to read more of the books in this series and by this author!!!
