My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Dia’s Lure was the first book that I read in the series, but I’ll absolutely be going back to read the first two now. This adventure was amazing! Dia has been trying to keep herself and her family safe, but her tribe ends up being slaughtered. Dia herself is captured and discovers she is being held with her ex-lover, Carver. She is faced with all of the hurtful past again and wants to escape immediately. Carver knows he is far from perfect and has tried his entire life to right his wrongs, but seeing Dia again throws gas on his fire of guilt. Milos is an unexpected third in this triangle, but they all need to rely on each other to survive. Can they do it, or will guilt and distress cause them to make a fatal error?

Catherine Peace is a marvelous author! I cannot believe I’ve never read any of her books before. I’ll be picking up the rest of this series and seeing what other adventures she has to offer. I highly recommend picking up Dia’s Lure!

I read this book not realizing it was book 3 in the series, and honestly that didn’t really matter. I wasn’t as lost as I thought I was going to be. It was like this book had its own little story from the first two. I will be going back and reading the other ones because I really couldn’t put this book down. I absolutely loved the way others imagine and preserve the fantasy part. This romance paranormal book really had it all from romance, love, action, twist and turns, redemption, a little erotic and bat shifter. The chemistry that is in the book between Dia and milo which was unexpected was interesting to know if there will be more to that story. But with Dia mate around but Dia is upset that he could be the reason that her people aren’t around anymore. there’s so much that was going on in this book I couldn’t put it down and really want to know more of what is going on in Dia’s life. The world building in each separate character is amazing and who each one waves into each other’s is just phenomenal, highly recommend this book.

4 Stars!! 🌟🌟🌟🌟

As I have not read the other previous books, I was intrigued by the beautiful cover and decided to read this 3rd book of the series and it is quite good! The writing is descriptive and beautiful. I really loved Dia’s story and trying to not only keep her family safe but also herself after being hunted and the aftermath of her tribe being destroyed. When Dia is eventually captured…she see’s another person as well in captivity…none other than Kano…whom betrayed her long ago……Dia and Kano work together to save each other from danger and also in the mix with Milos as well?

This is a really good read..I love the different type of shifters, love the paranormal aspect and some danger and sizzle. I definitely want to circle back and check out the first two books in the series and looking forward to book 4!

This book was written well. I loved reading a new take on the paranormal. The story of Dia had so much action and emotion, making it a great story. Journeying with Dia as she traveled to find answers and survive was one roller coaster of a ride. There were many twists and turns but it was really nice to see her triumph over the adversity she experienced. The author wrote a great story and I look forward to seeing more from her.

Dia’s Lure is the third book in this series. I would strongly recommend reading the books in order so you get a complete understanding of the characters and the story.

This is a paranormal fantasy romance. I loved the elements of danger in it and the different characters. The author does an amazing job of bringing these fantasy characters to life. I didn’t read the first 2 books but that didn’t stop my enjoyment of this book. I will however be going back to read the series from the beginning.

Dia is a very interesting character. All her life she has been on the run from hunters because of what she can become. She is a strong willed and resourceful character however she does have a sense of sadness and loneliness about her because she can’t let people in and the one person she did let in and loved betrayed her.

That person was Carver. Carver is a dingo shifter. He has made many questionable mistakes in his life that he regrets. The main was was hurting Dia and causing the destruction of her tribe. Now he’s free to make amends for the past and the pain he has caused but will Dia accept him and forgive him or has the damage been too much that there is no going back.

This story is definately a page turner which a slight element of fated mates has most shifter stories have but the journey for Dia and Carver to get there is definately a roller coaster of a ride you don’t want to miss

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Years ago, Dia lured hunters away to keep her family safe and she’s been hiding ever since. She changed her name, her gender, her looks all to keep herself and her younger sister’s safe from their dark past.

Dia who goes by Dane, is going to help in an active warzone when a bomb goes off and shifts the bus they were in. Fight or flight kicked in and she ran until she collapsed. When she came to, she was in a camp of bat shifters who just wanted to be left alone in a world where shifters are hunted. The shifters, not knowing who or what Dia is, insist on her staying until they can trust her. The next day they get another intruder and it is Dia’s mate whom she blames for the slaughter of her tribe.

Years later and there are still feelings there. As she gets to know the bat colonies leader, Milos, she realizes that there could be something between them as well.

Kano spent years trying to find his lost love Dia while also trying to stay away to protect her. When he arrives on the scene of the bus, he picks up her scent, causing him to stumble into the camp. Instantly, Kano can tell that Dia wants nothing to do with him because of their past but he can’t help it. All the while Milos catches his eye as well.

After a lifetime of them all running, will they finally settle down and try to make something of these feelings?

As much as I enjoyed the first book of the series, this one is a lot better. There is alot more action, steam, romance. It even gets a little erotic here and there. I could not put it down.

This book has so much going on from the moment you see the first page, I absolutely love it. The chapters are from different character’s perspectives, which gives a more in-depth understanding of what’s going on. I love Dia’s personality and her ambitions and how strong her will is. She’s been through so much and isn’t going to let anything stop her from what she has her mind set on. You’ll also meet Kano, who lives in his emotions and lets them dictate his choices. And let’s not forget Milo. I won’t say more because this book is absolutely worth the read. Filled with action, romance, betrayal, acceptance, hope, friendship, and so much more.

Dia Ngata is a young woman in hiding, she spends her life in disguise and has been hunted because of who she is for most of her life, she is a swan shifter and ever since her tribe was slaughtered overnight, she has been running from hunters and from her past. Carver Kano is a dingo shifter who has had a challenging past and a life full of regrets, but he is trying desperately to make up for them with the choices he is making now, his biggest regret is his hand in the destruction of Dia’s tribe all those years ago.

Despite all of this, Dia spends her time helping others survive against the odds, just like her, so when disaster strikes and Dia is forced to run until she can run on more and passes out in the middle of an unknown forest, however, when she wakes up, she is no longer there, instead, she is in a bed with a soft voice asking her how she is feeling. This puts Dia on edge immediately, she is not used to being looked after and is suspicious of it all, especially when she is told she cannot leave, this send her into a panic and she does everything she can to escape, albeit unsuccessfully.

While all this is happening, Kano is working on a new story as a journalist specialising in warzones and he is after his biggest prize yet, in the past he has used this job to take down the worst of the worst out there and for the most part he is successful, but on the road to his next destination, Kano comes a scene of destruction and immediately goes to help, but he is distracted when he smells Dia and he immediately goes after her, however, he finds more than he bargains for when he is captured and put in a cage.

As Dia accepts her captivity, she sees another captive and realises that it is her old flame Kano, she doesn’t know how to react and honestly, neither does he, but as they find out more about this colony’s history, they become a part of the bat shifters camp life and they find it somewhere they want to help, especially Milos, who wriggles into their hearts. One say they are confronted by danger yet again when someone from Kano’s past turns up and threatens the bats they have become close to, but can Dia, Kano and Milos work together to save the colony from this latest danger and keep themselves safe throughout this difficult task? This is a fantasy adventure where nothing is as it seems and secrets and lies seem to be a way of life which will keep you reading on until you find out what happens in the end.

Dia’s Lure is the third book in the Solstice Quartet series and is a wonderfully written Paranormal/Fantasy/Romance that once you start reading there’s no stopping until you finish. I suggest reading in order as each book helps in understanding what has been going on. This is an emotional journey about being broken until they find people who make them feel worthy. My heart ached for these characters at times. This is packed with mystery, drama, humor, magic and shifters. As I don’t want to give to much away I highly recommend reading this book to find out what happens next. I’m definitely ready for the next book in this series.

Dia’s Lure (Solstice Quartet Book 3) by Catherine Peace. This is a great series. I do think you need to read the first two books to get to know the characters and understand the story better. Its the continuing story of Dia who has been on the run for years. She has self isolated and has been keeping her self from friends and family. When she runs into someone from her past things turn very unclear. Carver is a journalist and Dia has said she will never forgive him for his past mistakes. When Milos and Carver become friends things get very tricky. Will Dia be able to let anyone get close to her? Will she be able to forgive the people that have wronged her? Once Dia is captured will she be able to escape? This is a fast paced paranormal romance that will keep you reading late into the night.

If you are anything like I am, then you don’t do things in order! Dia’s Lure is the third book in the Solstice Quartet by Catherine Peace. I didn’t pay attention to the title when I picked up this book and didn’t notice that it was the 3rd book in a series. Which honestly, I didn’t pay any attention to due to the book being very entertaining. There was tension, emotion, and some steamy chemistries that were set on high-mode that definitely made for some intense reading!!
Now, I do highly recommend reading the previous books before starting on this one (you know so you’re not lost like I was at first!) it is nice to know what has happened and what is going on with some of the other characters and their backstories, this will 100% change the way that you interpret the story of Dia!
This is a story that has mystery, romance, drama, trouble, steamy chemistry, and the list goes on and on!
I definitely have to say that Catherine Peace put a lot of thought and emotion into her writing, and I thank her for that! The characters, storyline, the whole plot was very well thought out! And that ending though!!!!
I can’t wait to go back and read book 1 & 2, as well as the 4th book in the series!
Happy reading!

This is the third book in the series. I have not read the previous books and I was able to pick up on everything that’s going on in the story. That being said, it would probably make even more of an impact if I had read the previous stories.
There are a lot of things to love about this story. The world building is excellent and detailed. The characters have a lot of depth. And the story line is intriguing.
The first part of the story is a little slow, but it picks up later on and keeps you glued to the pages.

Dia’s Lure is a paranormal fantasy romance. It is the third book in a series. I didn’t read the first two books, and while I think I would have understood a few things a bit better, I think it was fine as a stand-alone.

Dia has been on the run for years. She has very few friends and does not stay in one place for too long in an effort to keep hunters from finding her or her family. She struggles to trust others, and this shows in her interactions with a group of people she stumbles across. Add in a person from her past showing up, and things get interesting.

Carver is a very interesting character. He has had to make some hard choices in his life and is willing to bear the consequences. He and Dia have history and chemistry, and when Milos gets added in, things get spicy.

All three characters have chemistry with each other and together. It was interesting to watch how things unfolded. There was an element of ‘fated mates’ even if that wasn’t overtly talked about, as they were all drawn to each other and were quick to succumb to it.

While the main plot of this story was told, I want to know more about some of the side characters and what else happens for the swans. I look forward to reading more in this world.

This paranormal fantasy romance was definitely worth the read. When I first saw this book I decided to try it just because I thought the cover was so beautiful. However once I actually started it I realized it was the third installment and I was a little confused having not read the previous to. But the story was so interesting I decided to stop and read the first two so I could understand the story as a whole. Overall the characters were great, the plot is amazing and well put together, and the book as a whole is a great installment to the series. So if you’re looking for a new book make sure to not only pick up this one but pick up the whole series and read it in order to enjoy this amazing story.

This delightful tale has everything to keep you glued to the pages and make you fall in love with the characters. Dia’s Lure is the third book in the Solstice Quartet by Catherine Peace. This turned out to be my favourite, so far. The tension, emotion, and sizzling chemistry were set on high- and made for some intense reading.
As this is the third book in the quartet, I highly recommend reading the previous books before starting on this one- as knowing what has happened there, and the other characters and backstories- will definitely enhance your reading experience of this third instalment.
This is an emotional paranormal romance with a bit of a love triangle, chemistry, sizzle, shifters, magic, secrets, danger, originality, quirky characters, mythology, dramatic developments, angst, friendship, connection, and clever world-building.
Ms. Peace certainly put her characters through the wringer here, making them work for every ounce of happiness. These characters had been through so much, and were each a little broken- but together them became whole. They were so well-crafted, so realistic and believable- I was instantly drawn to them, investing in them and the outcome of their story. And Ms. Peace toyed with my emotions the whole while. That ending though!!!!
Bring on Book #4, Trina’s Sacrifice. Can’t wait!
Happy reading!

Thank you, Catherine Peace!

Lindsay Murray did a great job with the characters in the book. How raw each and every character the main and the supporting characters. Alice is a bit like a wild child,  but after being abused like she’s been I would act the same. I would believe my life would always be the same after having a life like hers. Rueben wants what he can’t have, like he put his world on a pedestal and don’t really want to move it. This was a book you couldn’t put down, want to keep reading and reading and get overly emotional and angry along with the characters. Would everything be alright in the end or would everything be different? That is what I thought the whole time I was reading the book. There’s a lot of spice in the book and a lot of topics not for the faint at heart. But I would definitely say this is a book for readers that want a bit of spice and everything.

This was nothing like I’ve ever read before. I read the many many warnings prehand and felt capable of handing such scenes or stories. The closest thing I can describe this to would be 50 shades of grey, but multiplied by 10. In darkness and levels of bdsm. Also this was a really long book since it went so far into detail. Which isn’t a bad thing, it made sure all basis we’re covered. However there was some repetitiveness that had me sighing like here we go again. Overall I would call this a good read, definitely not for the faint of heart. Definitely opened my eyes more in the realm of bdsm!

This novel is incredible: the way it is written, the plot, the characters, the romance.. I could not pull myself away from it. The way Rueben and Alice come together is not only incredibly intimate and romantic, but they are also sexy and adorable. The author does an amazing job of creating relatable characters and a storyline that has you desperate for more. I have never read anything by this author before, but I cannot wait to get my hands on more of their work.

Rueben and Alice meet within the BDSM community that they are a part of. The community is not something that I am familiar with, but the author explains it in such a way that any beginner would understand just by reading this novel. What I love about Rueben and Alice’s dynamic is how consensual it is and how Rueben insists on communication to ensure consent throughout their scenes and relationship. I also believe the author stressed that consent is necessary, even within the BDSM community and no matter the kink, which I respect entirely. Please do yourself a favor and read this book!

Ashes of Sin and StardustAshes of Sin and Stardust by Lindsay Murray
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Reuben is a sadist dom who has been having visions of his one true submissive for almost 25 years. Even from a young age, Reuben was completely elated by causing others pain. However, over the last handful of years, Reuben had taken a step back from “playing” with submissives or slaves after losing his last partner. That was until the girl from his visions finally showed up in his life, however, he hates “brats” and that is exactly what Alice is. So you can only imagine their first couple of meetings were completely crazy because he couldn’t believe this was the girl he had been dreaming about. Alice, however, has also been in the kink community for many years as a masochist submissive. Alice is also diagnosed with many mental health disorders, her most challenging being borderline personality disorder. However, she also had a terrible upbringing, and abusive “doms”. Due to her history she has sworn off doms and only wants a dynamic but no relationships. The two of them try their hand at a dynamic and quickly realize this is more than both of them bargained for, but when feelings get involved it is hard to walk away. This story is about this dynamic and the push and pull that both of their messed up ways bring to the table. Can they find the balance in each one of them to accept each other for who they are, and learn to embrace the scary?

There is a lot to say about his book. One, it is long as hell so be prepared. I normally can read a book in a couple of days, but this took me over a week. Two, READ THE TRIGGER WARNINGS – there is a ton of abuse and sadistic/masochistic BDSM play – mental health struggles, etc. Three, be prepared for your emotions to feel exhausted. I am sure most can read this for what it is so I may be exaggerating, but as a former counselor, those with borderline disorders can be very challenging. I tend to be pulled in many directions emotionally which may have just been a PTSD thing for me. Either way, you will probably feel exhausted as you read the mood swings that Alice encountered multiple times a day. With all that being said, however, it was a crazy, exhausting, beautiful story. The author captures this part of the BDSM community very well (makes me think she ventures down that avenue) and is very educated in the information. I also believe that the author gives amazing descriptions about Alice and how she is feeling and hits borderline personality right on the head. While each character had many flaws, on purpose, there was a part of me that just couldn’t help but love them. As I mentioned before I was mentally drained by these characters, but I didn’t consider it necessarily a bad thing. I think that if people are dealing with borderline and don’t know how to comprehend it, this may give them words to express their emotions. I think this is going to be a book that people either love or don’t. While I do not take full part in the kink community, I do enjoy different kinks so reading this was not that big of a problem for me – but I did learn that pain is not a way to my orgasm – lol.
