I loved this book. It is the second book in the Rhodes Family Series and follows the story of the sister Ava. I loved reading this book. The characters are so well written and likeable.

We meet Ava, Thomas and Hunter in the first story but we don’t get to know much about their story until now.

Ava, Thomas and Hunter have been friends for years, completely inseperable. Little did they realise that their friendship was turning into love.

One night after a few drinks they took their friendship one step further. While Ava and Thomas thought this could be the start of something new and they could all be together, Hunter fled causing heartbreak to them all.

7 years later Hunter wants to repair the damage that he caused and see if he can rebuild what he destroyed all those years ago.

Can Ava and Thomas forgive him for the past? Can a three way relationship work? And is it acceptable to love and be in a relationship with 2 people?

Accepted: Rhodes Family Book 2 by Lisa Wood is a MMF story, a complicated ménage a trois. You should read book one Shattered before you read Accepted, to understand what is happening in this story. I will admit that I was frustrated and annoyed with the characters at times and wanted to give them a swift kick up the a…… There are lots of emotions where hearts are broken, and forgiveness is not so easy to give. Can they see past their hurt and anger and let love set them free?

Accepted by Lisa Wood is book two of the Rhodes Family series. This book should be read after book one. Due to some content, this book is recommended for readers 18+.

Thomas, Hunter and Ava have been friends for as long as they can remember. When you love both of your best friends, what can you do about it? That’s the position Ava finds herself in. Finally, Ava gets what she’s fantasized about but then everything changes between the three of them.
Will they be able to fix the friendship they once had? Will the love Ava has for both Thomas and Hunter bring them back together?

This was a good read! I don’t often read books of the MMF/MM genre but I’m glad I read this one!

This book was about Ava, Thomas and Hunter. I really enjoy it when the timelines in the series are explained, this story is a parallel time line to Gabe and Olivia.

I really don’t know where to start. Ms. Wood started it off hot and it never really cooled down. Well there were a few parts but wow, there were some incredibly hot moments.

I love the interaction between the Rhodes siblings and how close they are with their parents. I can’t wait to read the next siblings story. Please let it be Liam!

Oh My God! I’m Really hoping there is going to be more books to this series. I seriously need more! This is a hot and steamy Romance that has some pretty steamy scenes. Ava, Hunter , and Thomas have been through a lot together. They have known each other since like kindergarten . I don’t want to give anything away so im just going to be very blunt. You need to read this book to find out what happens next. There is a lot of moments my heart hurt for them. There is a couple of twists I didn’t see coming. Oh and if you haven’t already read the first I highly recommend reading it first. I look forward to reading more from this Author and hopefully this series.

When you have loved only two men in your life and they both happen to be your best friends, can a friendship survive?

Ava is from the infamous Rhodes family and although she has everything the thing she requires the most is love, while at college she finally gets her fantasy with her best friends with a night of pure passion but by morning everything changes.

After that fateful night Hunter has been trying to fight the demons from his past with trying to move forward. After working with Ava and Thomas for years he now has to ask for forgiveness or will there relationship be lost forever.

Thomas has always struggled with understanding what happened that night, what caused Hunter to run for the hills and because of that his relationship with Ava had fizzled out over the years, but when a letter and a box of letters appears on his doorstep can he find it in his heart to forgive and forget and get back the only people he has ever truly loved.

The first book in this series was brilliant but I think I loved this book more, Ava is such a great strong character within the first book you know there must be a story behind her coldness. The three of them together have great chemistry and although the story in arced with Shattered the first book it does not loss its own flow for their story.

I can’t wait to read the other books in this series and with there being other siblings that are just as interesting in Ava and Gabe I can’t wait.

I will immediately start by saying for me I’m not sure I would have connected to the story without having first read the previous book in the series. That said, this book was an easy read. The storyline in general was very emotional, maybe more than I anticipated. You anticipate explicit scenes to be part of this book just from the synopsis. However, that aside, the emotional struggle was what really connected. A quick and easy read that definitely was set up to continue in a third book.

I was anxious to read the story as we saw just a little bit of these characters in Gabe’s book. Sadly, I really struggled with the connection between these three characters. It was hard to *feel* that they really felt anything for each other besides sexual attraction. I wish maybe we could’ve had some snippets of them growing up together so you could see that they had more than just a sexual connection with each other.

The story definitely got better once we were past the second half. There was some action going on and other stuff happening which was nice to read. Sorry people, but I just got tired of any time that two or three of these characters were in a space together it immediately went to sex every single time. More character building would make this a more palatable book in my opinion. The author did a good job with Hunters character and his issues.

This is a great family and I did enjoy Gabe’s book. I can easily feel the affection that the family has with each other. The remaining siblings could be great books in the future. I look forward to reading more about this Rhodes family.

This book is one steamy and emotional read! I was so ready for book two of the Rhodes Family series from Lisa Wood as soon as I finished Shattered, book one. I personally would recommend that you read the first book before jumping into this one because it really sets you up and gives you the background of these amazing characters. The emotional side of this read really tugs at the heartstrings as you wait in anticipation for the next steamy scene, and this book has plenty of those to keep the reader fanning themselves most of the time. I love how it is written in a way that is believable and not overstretched or exaggerated, something I struggle with when reading about throuples because I personally live in one myself. You can tell the author has respect for the lifestyle and that makes a huge difference for me as a reader. I cannot wait to see what will come next for the Rhodes family, I am sure it will be one I cannot put down either!

Accepted by Lisa Wood is the 2nd book in the Rhodes Family series by Lisa Wood. This is definitely a book for the 18+ age group due to the adult content. The author request this series should be read in order to get the best enjoyment from it.
One thing I have to say about this series is that if you read book 1 ‘Shattered’ it contains many spoilers for what happens in Accepted. In fact the outcome of Accepted is given away but this didn’t stop me from reading Accepted as I was so intrigued as to how that outcome came about and after reading the prologue to this book, I was even more intrigued as to how this ending happened.
In Accepted we get the story of Ava, sister of Gabriel from the first book. Ava is also a lawyer and senior partner in the family law firm and she knows what she wants but there are just somethings she’s not sure of how to get that. That being, her friendship back with Thomas and Hunter who were her best friends for a very long time. An event several years previously had broken up this very tight knit friendship and now Hunter has decided it’s time to get his best friends back. Is it too late so salvage what they had before? Can they all forgive each other and move forward?
I loved this story and was hooked from the very beginning. I couldn’t help but root for Hunter and his quest to put to rights all that had gone before and get this trio back to the way they used to be and move forward.
I look forward to reading more about the Rhodes family siblings.

Sweet Temptations: The Boss’s Daughter (Sweet Temptations Book 2) by L.M Mountford is a very quick and easy read- a short story that you can easily devour in one sitting. Making it a book you can enjoy when your reading time is limited, or during a lunch break, or as a quick, sexy read before bed.
This book is definitely what I would class as titillating erotica- a story of taboo temptations- aka the boss’s daughter. We have met Richard previously when he was tempted by the babysitter- and follow him as he encounters this latest temptation.
I would like to have read a longer and more ‘meatier’ version of this story- but it was entertaining nonetheless.

Thank you, L.M Mountford!

This is one of my favorite books by this author. It is a shorter book but it brings the steam and heat. I was pulled in right from the beginning by the characters. This is a story about Richard and what happens when you mess with the boss’s daughter. He has a secret and Scarlet knows what it is. So she does what she is good at, playing games. I loved both of these characters and what they bring to the story. It is fast paced and engaging. It made a great read for a rainy afternoon, it certainly heated it up. I highly recommend this book and this author.

Shattered: Rhodes Family Book 1 by Lisa Wood – Review by Roxsanne Lesieur

ShatteredShattered by Lisa Wood
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This is a book for the over 18’s only due to scenes of an adult nature.

This is the story of Olivia and Gabe. Olivia is a 26 year old graduate from law school who is sure she knows where her life is heading, until she is placed in a predicament where she has to give it all up, move to a new city and find a new job with only the clothes on her back and in two suitcases. Gabe is a senior partner in his father’s law firm with an eye for the ladies and an arrogant, playboy attitude.

We begin with Olivia as she leaves her old life behind to start a new one in the first place she points to on the map. This just happens to be New York City, so she packs her bags, gets in her car and drives there, she is in pain and disbelief, as to what she just walked in on and this is the reason she has to leave.

Next we meet Gabe, he is conducting interviews for a new junior partner for his father’s law firm, he is unimpressed by the candidates so far and after 4 of them, he needs to see how many more he has to deal with. He is unimpressed to find that there are still four more, that is until he sees a beautiful woman waiting to be seen and is completely shocked by the effect she has on him. He eventually makes his way through three more run of the mill candidates and finally calls her in.

It is at this moment that Gabe shakes Olivia’s hand and she is taken aback at the reaction she has to him as well. She is honest, straight forward and a breath of fresh air after all the others he had to put up with today, as she continues with the interview, he realises that his thoughts earlier were correct and that she was the perfect person for the position and so makes her an offer that she can’t refuse, but not something that he should be offering in the first place because his offer is a complete lie, apart from the job.

Gabe has to make a few calls which go over well, although he is seriously risking a lot for her, he can’t help it, as unbelievable as it is to those he speaks to.

What will the future hold for these two complete opposites? Will the lies and secrecy rip them apart or bring them closer together? Only time and experience will tell.

This book is only for those over 18.

Thomas, Hunter and Olivia have been friends for years, since their early school years in fact, but one night seven years ago, well, too much tequila and not enough talking led to something only one of them regretted and that night tore them apart.

In the present, Hunter wants to make amends, he wants nothing more than to have his two best friends back, they are all senior partners in Ava’s father’s law firm, but for seven years, they have only spoken in a professional capacity and even then, nowhere near as much as they used to. He misses them and what they shared all those long years ago and so he writes a letter to each and prays that they can forgive him for what he did and what he plans to do if they can’t.

In each letter he explains that the box attached is an explanation as to why what happened happened, what his life has been like since and how much he regrets the situation. He delivers the boxes to Thomas and Ava and waits to see what will happen next.

How will Thomas and Ava react to the packages and letters which Hunter has written and what will the two of them think? What will the future hold for them all?

Accepted is the second book in the Rhodes Family series by Lisa Wood. It is a MMF story, with plenty of drama, angst and spice.
It is a very quick and easy read- but as I mentioned at the end of Book One, there was a pretty big spoiler for this book detailed in Book One- so I was a little miffed by that even before I began this book. I did settle into the story- but not enough to fully connect with the characters like I was hoping to.
The relationship between the three was intense- and there were several emotional discoveries/details as well. But the characters really frustrated me at times- I really just wanted to shake them.
With a few more siblings left in the Rhodes family, I wonder who will be the subject of Book Three?

Thank you, Lisa Wood!

When you can have everything in the world due to privilege, but there is one thing you can’t buy Love.

Gabe Rhodes has lived his life in the high world, being a partner at the family firm. Not looking for relationships or marriage his has the reputation as a playboy, but all that will change with one interview.

Olivia is running away from her past. When she then gets to New York and interviews for a job with Gabe will she be able to resist the handsome man and will he discover her past which she is trying so hard to forget.

This story is full of lust, romance and excitement. I was frantically reading through this book to see what happens after ever turn of the page, the main characters are well developed and are a perfect combination to each and bounce off each other brilliantly. Gabe being the playboy and oldest in the family you expect him to be an idiot but his devotion to Livvie in the end is heartwarming. I can’t wait to read the next book in this installment and with five siblings you can imagine their is going to more in this wonderful series.

This is the first book I have read by this author and this book is a great introduction to this wonderful author and series. Bring on the next book / books.

Shattered is the first book that I have ever read by Lisa Wood but it certainly won’t be the last. Shattered is the first book in the Rhodes Family series. There are 6 Rhodes siblings, 4 male and 2 female and I’d love to think that this is just the start of a 6 book series.
This is quite a short book and I devoured it all in one sitting. The book was fast paced and the story continued to flow along so I just didn’t want to put the book down – so I didn’t!
In this book we get the story of Gabriel (Gabe) who is the eldest of the Rhodes siblings. Gabe is one of the senior partners at the family’s law firm and he is totally blown away when Olivia Cameron comes for an interview with him.
To say that there are sparks immediately is an understatement. The chemistry between Olivia and Gabe is smoking. Let’s just say that scenes between them are pretty hot and steamy. Lisa Wood surely knows how to get the blood pumping.
The only issue I have with this book is that it contains what I would regard as spoilers for the next book in the series but it certainly won’t stop me from reading the next book as I can’t wait to read Ava’s story as I get the impression that it’s going to be even more hot and steamy that Gabe and Olivia’s story which I loved.

After reading Shattered I just had to know the deal between Hunter, Ava, and Thomas. My heart broke for Hunter more times then I could even imagine, All the things Hunter had to go through just to get to where he was ready to ask for forgiveness from Ava and Thomas. Oh, and the sexiness was turned up a notch between this Throuple.

We did get a little glimpse at another Rhodes brother; I would love to know his story. Crossing my fingers for Lisa Wood to write another book in this series. Overall, a great book with addictive characters.

This was a very emotionally charged romance and I loved it. The characters were so well written that you couldn’t help experiencing their feelings at the same time.

Olivia was a successful lawyer who dreamed of marriage to her partner Dan but somethings aren’t meant to be and Olivia leaves Dan and her job. She puts a pin in a map to find her new location.

Gabe Rhodes is a powerful, wealthy lawyer who is interviewing for a Jr partner. As soon as his eyes land on Olivia he knows he has to have her. But with his past as a play boy can he win Olivias trust enough to let him in to her heart.
Olivia loves him and trusts him until something destroys that trust. Is their relationship beyond saving or can they both learn to love and trust again.
