I really enjoyed this story. The story was dynamic and full of twists and turns. A daughter and father are off travelling to ease the pain of losing their mother and wife. They go on an adventure that begins in India where her father works as a doctor to help the locals. Once his contract is done in India they are off for a vacation in the very cold Yukon. The story revolves around the bond between father and daughter and the strength it takes to be brave in the face of fear and the unknown. A guiding grace helps on this amazing journey.

“Tally and the Angel: Book One India” is an excellent book for young readers aged around seven and up. It teaches the reader many life lessons. The reader learns inspirational lessons like healing after loss, love, believing in yourself and thinking of others before oneself. At the same time readers are learning about the culture and people of India. This book has elements of a good mystery and a good fantasy. The story flows well and grips the reader from page one.

Betrayal at the Beach was a great cozy mystery story. You can’t help but be drawn to Sunshine Baker and her amateur sleuth skills. This was just the type of book that you would want to read on a cold and snowy afternoon in a blanket with a nice warm cup of hot chocolate, like I did.
I felt that Sunshine was a very strong character whose quirkiness came through beautifully. This was a lighthearted read and the perfect way to start a new year. The secondary characters all enhanced the story and I’m hoping that as a series goes on will get to know them even more in depth.
It had just the right amount of mystery you would expect for a true cozy book. It was a very quick read that kept you engaged from page one to the last page. I very much enjoyed this authors writing style with just the right amount of humor.
If you enjoy quick reads, and true cozy mysteries, then you will want to pick this book up and give this series a try.

Tally and her angel, Jophiel, are back for another adventure. This time they will face a mystery and evil forces in Canada. This is a great read for young readers. It’s exciting with plenty of action throughout. Another thing I loved about this book is that Tally learns about bravery and sacrifice. At the same time she also learns how people survive in the Yukon in Canada.

Tally returns in her second adventure fresh from her first and this time, she is travelling to Canada with her dad, they are going to have a holiday after all their hard work, so he has booked them onto a holiday at a retreat in the Yukon where they can learn how to husky sled across the snowy tundra. First impressions are as Tally expected and that it is cold, but she never knew that there were so many shades of white in the world and is amazed as she learns more about the husky’s and how to sled. Meanwhile, Jophiel senses something which makes him feel uneasy as they are traveling, but cannot remember why, so he looks out for Tally as much as he can, but someone at the camp is a little bit odd and it is not helpful, especially when their help turns out to be a hindrance.
One day while they are out, Tally’s dad is hurt and is taken to a village to recover, however, it is not a village like any other, it has been cursed, but not everyone wants the curse to be lifted. There are those within the village which will happily stay as they are for the gold which they have access to, but that isn’t the only challenge which Tally and Jophiel face as his unease grows with each step closer they get to the reason for the curse, but when they come face to face with dangerous creatures, both earthbound and mythical will Jophiel be able to face his fears and help Tally to defeat them, or is this where there adventures come to an end?
This is a fast paced fantasy adventure of one girl, her angel and a battle against forces which may be their undoing, with action, adventure and suspense, this is a story you will want to follow through to the end and you will not want to miss out on.

Such a great story! Following Tally and Jophiel from book 1 in India and now book 2 the next adventure is in the Yukon in Canada. I loved how the Tally and her dad become “mushers” and learn a new experience. When they trek on their own after learning the ropes of dog sledding, they seem to become lost and are in a village that is “cursed”. When Tally’s dad is hurt, she needs to find a way to get her dad to a doctor for treatment while trying to help break this curse that the village has. I love Tally’s character as she is curious but brave. Mystery, intrigue, gold hungry characters, mythical beings and just quite an adventure all wrapped into a great read! I cannot wait to book 3!!

Tally and the Angel: Book Two, Canada by Eleanor Dixon. This is such a great book for young adults or older children. Its the story of Tally, her dad and her angel. This time they are traveling to Canada to learn about Dog Sledding. Along the way they come across a town that is cursed and while there Tally’s dad get the curse put on him. Tally and her Angel have a lot of work cut out for them in order to save her dad. Tally is such a strong young girl and with the help of her angel Jospheil hopefully they can save her dad and be able to learn about Dog Sledding. I can’t wait to read the next story and see where Tally and her Angel takes us! This can be read as a standalone.

This book was even more amazing then the first. We once again follow our main character Tally but this time we’re following her and her angel on a race against time in Canada. Once again full of drama, this one has so much more then the first book including ancient curses, gold hunters, and beautiful mystical wolves. While this story could be read as a standalone I highly recommend you read the first book in this series to get the back story as to who Tally is and how she came to possess her angel. This book like the previous one had me gripped from the beginning and I just simply could not put it down.

This book was one simple word Amazing! A perfect paranormal fantasy, with danger, bravery, drama, mystery, and more. Tally is our main character, and being a teenage girl who just lost her mother, your heart just breaks for her. Until she is given her angel pendant and then everything changes. There is just so much packed into this short book, but the author did a phenomenal job pulling their readers in and then keeping them on a roller coaster ride full of drama, mystery, and a race against time until the very last page. I personally loved this book so much that I can’t wait to read the next one.

Priscida is a modest yet astute alley cat who discovers the meaning of grandeur. Some of the incidents she depicts are based on true occurrences. You get to choose which ones are genuine! Enjoy Priscida Discovers and recognizes brilliance in yourself and others. “Great acts are built up of tiny deeds,” says Lao Tzu, and this is the basis for her narrative. While seeing through the eyes of this amusing cat, it is hoped that the reader would learn and apply this. Priscida realizes she is amazing and that she is surrounded by amazing people. Pretend you’re Priscida if you read it aloud! Imitate her facial expressions and body language. Make the same noises she would. Make a list of your own brilliance and display it somewhere you’ll see it every day. Saying “I am fantastic” every day is a good habit to get into. “Go forth and be wonderful today.” Most importantly, never give up and look for grandeur in the smallest of gestures.
I loved this story. I loved every page of it. Every chapter was exciting. This is my first book from this author and I can’t wait to read the rest of her books
This is a wonderful children’s book. The overall story is such a great lesson. Then you add a cute “kitty” (my little one kept calling her.) It just makes for a great bedtime story. The illustrations were adorable and just added so well to story. Wonderful story time read!
This book continues the adventures of Tally and her Angel from book one. This book is definitely just as good as the first one! The characters are entertaining, as is the story, and the writing is easy and enjoyable. I would definitely recommend this book to young fantasy lovers, and I would highly recommend reading the first book if you haven’t already!

Limbo was original and thought provoking. It takes you to that questionable void between heaven and hell. We are introduced to the main character Alyse who died of Cancer, and is only seventeen. The very start of of her life cut short, and she is unhappy to be dead and stuck in that place. The story is told in multiple POV, and you get a bit of insight as we meet each character and get a bit of their backstory. Our characters ask the question of what could have been done differently, was this punishment or salvation,, what does this existence hold and mean, etc. This book truly makes you think about life, and what the after life may truly hold.

Subject may be triggering! This is a beautiful story of a young girls journey after death. Acceptance and understanding seems to be a huge moral to this story. This author has an amazing way of carving real life lessons into the words and plot. Are we ever ready to die? Stuck between life and death our main character embarks to find her truths and her peace. This was .a difficult read plot wise as it pulled at the heart strings. I would read this to my children and pass this story down to generations. I’m not crying your crying. Beautiful in the description of what we may believe as the “in between” and how you in the end find and accept death.

This story was beautiful and thought provoking in its own way. When I first picked up this book I picked it up purely based on the cover and the synopsis on the back. But I soon found myself flipping through the pages to see what happened with these amazing characters. While this novel is only 156 pages our author really knows how to pull her readers in and keep them interested until the very end. The characters are amazing,the plot was thought provoking, and the story as a whole was just beautiful. Alyse is a young girl who feels like her life has been taken away from her as she floats through Limbo. Trey is an older man who thinks his death was an accident, but was it? These two will oddly become friends and throw a fun party for all of their other ghost friends that are stuck in limbo. But can they really be happy? Can this party make them feel better about being stuck in limbo? You’ll have to read this beautiful novel to find out for yourself.

This novel was a fresh take on the existence of ghosts. I don’t think I have ever wondered if a ghost had feelings or ever felt like they were missing out on something so the novel Limbo opened my eyes to new questions and new possibilities. It made me think which is always good. I enjoyed the book and will look for more from this author.

Alyse is a young lady of seventeen and she is dead, but she isn’t happy, she is stuck in a village of other ghosts, it is in the middle of nowhere and more like something you would find in the wild west than the afterlife. Alyse misses her family, her friends and her life, but she feels isolated despite being surrounded by the other dead, so she decides that she wants to get to know them all a bit more.
One day, when the boredom and loneliness has become too much, Alyse decides to throw a party for the outposts inhabitants and asks for help from some of them too, however, as she makes the arrangements and encourages the others to join in, but will it be a success or a failure? Along the way, Alyse realises some things about herself which realign her thinking, but will the lessons improve or hamper her existence in Limbo?
This is a new take on the subject of life after death in a place where people are thrown together and have to try to make the best of the situation they find themselves in.

This is a wonderfully written and original novel with a unique and intriguing storyline, which caught my attention and held it from start to finish. Sixteen year old Alyse died and found herself in ‘limbo’. In this story ‘limbo’ is literally a ghost town, whose residents are all deceased. Being sixteen she feels she has nothing in common with any of the other occupants in the afterlife she has found herself in. Feeling lonely and isolated she decides to throw a neighbourhood block party. Whilst planning this party she gets to know the other people better and a series of revelations about both herself and the others, lead her to realise things she did not learn whilst alive. Alyse also discovers more about herself and by the end of the story is happier and wiser. This is definitely an odd read but one that I could not put down. The descriptive narrative really brought ‘limbo’ vividly alive, making me feel immersed in the story. However, it was the strange mix of quirky characters that really made the story for me. Each character had their own backstory and you got little glimpses into their lives before they died. Although you are not told why any of them are in ‘limbo’, you do get some clues in their backstories. Alyse was a great main character who was both likeable and relatable. An engaging read which left me with many questions, and I was left thinking about the storyline long after I had finished the book.

I just loved reading this book to my grandson. It has so many little life lessons in it. The story was short and to the point which is just perfect for small kids. The cat Priscilla is the perfect character for these little lessons. My grandson was very happy that he could read most of the book by himself!
