He is delightfully sinful but then again gluttony is his sin. He is one of the Seven Princes of Hell. Angels and Demons are on the verge of war. Demons are out in full force in this paranormal, romance story. This delightful tale is unique and a pleasurable different read for a change. The characterisation and world building are done so well you are drawn into the shenanigans. It is flirty and fun as we journey along whilst this demon shares what most can’t resist. That is until he comes across her. She is one he is determined to have. She has made him feel. Now she is fighting for her soul and pulling out all the stops to resist his gluttonous ways.

Enter Science Fiction into a story about a “being” who has long periods of stasis and changes form every times he comes out of stasis and learning new things like language inter species communication. Follow an evolving society while Harry sleeps in stasis as humans continue to progress. I enjoyed Harry got to come back to Tristan but I was annoyed with Elena’s response to finding a talking bug…big…. its a talking bug and you want to take a nap?!?Who does that?
Elena inevitably gets pulled into a crazy adventure with Harry and is far more accepting of what he is, even if Harry & Tristan do not fully understand.
All in all a good science fiction/fantasy. I admit I did not read book 1 that would probably have filled in the gaps for me.

This book was amazing. Even I feel that is an understatement. There was so much character growth and things hidden beneath the surface of this book and the author’s writing was enticed, shocked, and sucked in completely, body and soul! I could not get enough in any shape or form
What I loved most was reading and learning on who and what Beelzebub is. He was a demon yes but alone with his power this was much more to him. Learning of the other’s like him was very intriguing as well. Personally I loved Clara. I identify as a empath myself so it was nice having a character to read on that I could relate to on a personal level. The story takes off quick, and the darkness of Beelzebub really came to light. I was enticed all the way through. I had trouble setting this one down. it was so good. The writing and story line was beyond amazing. I cant wait to read about the other powerful demons!
Freaking good read that I very much enjoyed! I highly do recommend this book, it was a quick read for me, and I was amazed and mesmerized as I read through. Cant wait to read more by this author!

I enjoyed this paranormal romance story. This is a well written story that is not only full of action but romance as well. I enjoyed being pulled into the story by the characters as they make the story come to life. They are connectable and keep the story engaging. This is a fast paced story that kept me coming back for more. I enjoyed the growth of the plot that made the story easy and entertaining to read. Beelzebub is a demon who finds a human, Clara, interesting. She has a gift of empath but the problem is the more she helps people the weaker she becomes. Now these two are faced with saving her soul and with a war brewing they may just be in for a bigger fight than they realize. I enjoyed their chemistry and growth throughout. They made the story fun and interesting for me. I really enjoyed what they brought to the story. I highly recommend this book.

This book was a book that I enjoyed a great deal as it was in the view of the demon, but he is not an ordinary demon. He is one of seven and they are all super powerful. He is to tempt the people with gluttony. I liked when it showed that he was tempting people and it also went into detail about their guardian angels working to not let them be tempted by him. He looks for people who have already been touched or tempted by the other of the seven deadly sins as this makes his job of tempting people that much easier. This was a book that surprised me and had me on the edge of my seat waiting to see what I would read next and see where this went. I cannot wait to read the other books in this series!

I have never read a story like this. It is fantasy but also historical fiction as it mixes magic and mythology with the destruction of Pearl Harbor. I’m glad the author put a glossary in the beginning of the book because I needed to reference names and places as I read. The characters drew me in and I wanted to learn their stories. Alva didn’t grow up with her queen mother or sisters but comes back when trouble arises. She is a Huldra who uses the male life force to live. Alva went against the norm and did not kill her partner, but helped him win a war. Bernard, a resistance soldier, is grieving the loss of his family and is willing to do anything to bring them back. Bernard changes one event in history which alters the fate for all. He knows one small change can make a difference in the future so now he has to go back and fix it with the help of Alva. Something seems to be working against them and Bernard and Alva need to figure it out so they can change the past and put the timeline back right.

This book was surprisingly good. It was a story about Gods and elves but they seemed so real and approachable somehow. Reading Bernard’s story was intriguing and interesting. The story had some twists and turns that kept me interested as I tried to figure out how it would end. This is the first book in a series and I am looking forward to reading the next book.

Excellent world building and real relatable characters. I liked the history element mixed with the fantasy. A lot of messages about cause and effect with a clear statement – you can’t change the past. Really fast paced and I couldn’t wait to find out what happened.

Read out of sync, started with this (book 3) instead of first book in series (kicking myself now) BUT can still be read as a standalone. I just truly loved the story, this book, would have enjoyed ALL of the adventures of main character. The story grew on me, LOVED every minute spent reading it. The plot, the characters, the adventures and drama kept me on the edge of seat. Such a fascinating YA read. Going to go back and read book one AND two NOW!! The author wrote such a wonderful story. Can’t wait to read more of their work!!

This was a great read! The writing was fantastic and I was easily drawn into the story. There was vivid imagery and I felt like I was right there in the story with the characters. I do have one complaint though. While this book is 1 of 1, it felt like a sequel. The way the book started, it felt more like a continuation of a series, and I didn’t connect with the characters. It took me several chapters to do so. So while I enjoyed this book, it took me awhile to feel that connection. I think that if the author were to write a prequel it would work a lot better. All in all I really enjoyed reading this book and I would definitely read more from this author in the future!

Immediately became action packed. This book is a jack of all trades concerning genre. This book made me consider life as to what I’m accustomed to like Van having all her needs met at island. Little bit confused as I did not read book 2. Anyways I felt this book was similar to Hunger Games, because being stuck in woods in a game. Difference is this one is called Jaychund games instead of Hunger games. Cameras in trees and being viewed by everyone. The similarities are quite astonishing. I still very much enjoyed reading this book. And need to go to book 2 then four.

Definitely going to have to recommend this series! Go read the first 2 though. Many more unexpected twists in this book. I would absolutely love to see this series turned into a TV show! It holds its own up there with Hunger Games, Divergent and the like, without being too similar.

If you haven’t read the first book, Stop! I highly recommend to read it before starting the second. You can read this as a stand alone, but it would be much better to read them in order so you get the whole picture. I was so excited to read this second story of Van’s adventures. This was such a good book! I really loved Van’s character from the beginning, even though she was honestly considered a spoiled rich kid. Seeing how she had to choose to be a good person made this a wonderful story for me. It fit perfectly into my comfort zone of books. It has plenty of other worldly characters and places along with lots of action, heartache, trials and more. Definitely recommend this book.

This is the first book I have read by the author, so I am not familiar with the previous two books in the series. That being said, I enjoyed the novel very much. I love young adult fantasy, and ones that also include a lesson without knowing you are learning a lesson are even better. There were definite vibes to a similar young adult novel series (The Hunger Games) at the beginning of the book, but the author was able to differentiate it enough that it didn’t feel stale. And, throughout the series, there are many lessons and growth developments that the characters (but especially the main one, Val) go through and it makes it for an extremely good read.

This is the fourth installment to this series and I was definitely not disappointed. This installment was just as good as the previous three, you have all of your favorite characters and some new ones that just blow the story out of the water. This book is filled with so much adventure, action, and amazing characters that you simply won’t be able to put down. This book is really different from the other three in the series and is by far my favorite. Dahlia is back to her normal night time life after being trapped on Drimera for a while.The Queen is still after her so Dahlia is constantly running from and fighting the Queens forces. The blight that has been affecting all of the other worlds seems to have made its way to Earth. Dahlia is determined to eradicate the blight before it gets worse with the help of her friends of course.
On top of that, creatures that normally would not enter the portals to Earth are making their way through. Dahlia is overworked and overtired. She feels like she is running out of time.
Murders are once again happening and the clues are showing supernatural reasons. Creed asks Dahlia for her help but she already is doing too much. Can she solve the murders and destroy the blight before she herself is destroyed? You will have to read this book and if you haven’t read the other three, I would highly suggest doing so as well!
Dahlia has survived so much in her life, but the half dragon shapeshifter just keeps on kicking butt and taking names! This fourth book in the series did not disappoint, in fact it was a page turner.
Just when you don’t think Dahlia’s life can get any more complex or trying, new obstacles pop up and make things much more intricate. As always her care for the humans around her causes her to fight harder to keep her world in check. This installment brings so much action and adventure that any reader will be engrossed in the story line and hit by some surprises.
Definitely a slow start to the book, but turned out to be a great story in the end! The book was definitely not what I expected, but I really enjoyed the writers twist on history. As a huge history nerd and mythology nerd, I really loved how she incorporates both into the story, to me it reminded me a lot of the Wonder Woman movies but also was in a league of its own. The author has a great attention to detail, plus I loved the work they put into developing all of the characters. I definitely hope to read more of their work in the future!

This was another amazing book. It was so well written, and I was so happy that I was able to read this one with this series. Van had come a long way in growing into the women that she is supposed to be coming into. The book really progressed. It really kept me wondering what was going to happen next and on the edge of my seat. This book was amazing and im so glad I read it. Highly recommend this book. It was very well written, and the author knew how to keep the reader interested. I loved the writing style of the author as well. I really hope there will be more to Van and her story.

This book did not disappoint, I’m glad I read the first one thou. This book starts off a year after the first one so highly recommend reading the first one first. It kept me very intrigued and, on my seat, wondering what was going to happen next. With so much happening in the book it was hard not to read it or put it down. The up and downs Van has to deal with still at such a young age is just incredible and to read about how much she has grown into the strong-willed person she is, is amazing. Highly recommend this book.

This is book 4 in the series. Dahlia is still the strong woman we know and love. She is still battling creatures from Drimera trying to take her back and trying to keep Earth safe. Her new team seems to be pretty relatable. I really enjoyed this installment. I’ve been a huge fan of the series since book 1 because the author writes in such a way that you are engaged and pulled into the drama and action. Another great book that I highly recommend.
The latest book in this fantastic series is full of battles, darkness, and action. The blight that Dahlia has chased since book 1 is gaining in strength and threatening the stability of all worlds, including Earth. She struggles to focus her strengths and new powers, but her progress seems to be frustratingly slower than the increase of the deadly blight. When her friends are injured, she is forced to rely on shadowy contacts that she isn’t sure how much she should trust. This novel is back-to-back battles and excitement. Dahlia uncovers a lot of the mysteries at play in Sentinel City and Drimera, and these fuel her ability to fight against the end of civilization. Book 4 is a great continuation of this series, never a dull moment!
Book one … Great! Book two … Amazing! Book three … Extraordinary!! This installment in this series was everything I wanted it to be. In fact it was so much more than I knew it could be and I literally couldn’t put it down until I had finished it! What a truly wonderful fantasy world that is so intense and interesting you will find yourself wanting nothing more than to visit there despite the ongoing battle in the age old tale of good vs. evil. Vanessa “Van” is at it again on another mission. This time though she has a whole slew of regular life stuff to deal with on top of the games and the mission. But like the true hero she is she wings her way through it with a delightful outcome. I don’t know about you all but I did not see that coming!!! And now we wait … oh book four wherever can you be!!!

Vanessa is a teenager who finds herself in an alternate reality forced to find a relic. There are many surprises in this novel but they are well placed and really bring about how this whole alternate reality came about. This story has everything I look for in fantasy novels. Action, adventure, twists and turns and most of all well developed characters. The fantasy world is super involved and so well detailed you can actually feel like you have been there. The author truly wants the readers to be satisfied that their favorite characters are handled with care and given a full experience. I laughed, I cried and yes I even yelled at the book a time or too. I am looking forward to a continuing journey in book two!
