Journeys Through TimeSpace (Journeys Through Book 2) by James Talisman – Review by Robbyn Perkins

Journeys Through TimeSpaceJourneys Through TimeSpace by James Talisman

As the second book in this series continues on with the characters in which we met in the first book. We get to continue on the character’s journey. I am completely amazed at how the author, James Talisman, ties in each character and so many settings and multiverses, but yet ties them all together with the characters from the first book. As the reader, you are able to explore these multiverses even further and grow with the characters as they take on their each individual journey/beliefs. I cannot say how completely amazed with the writing that takes you through this journey back and forth to these characters and somehow manages to tie it all together!

Journeys through Space time gripped me from the beginning and kept me hooked until the end! The author, James Talisman, weaves a multitude of characters into this fantasy sci fi world and had me so enthralled in each character. I found myself falling in love with the build up, the lives, and the complexity of these multiple characters. I felt like I was able to follow all these characters in these fantasy multiverse worlds. James had a way of having me feel like I have known these characters my entire life!

I honestly cannot wait to see how these characters are carried through into the next book!

Journeys Through TimeSpace (Journeys Through Book 2) an absolute fantastic continuation of this series. The world building goes even deeper in this continuation and I absolutely loved the developments. Characters really fall into their own in this book and it makes for such fun reading through the various perspectives as this collective journey continues. I really enjoyed some twists at the end I didn’t see coming and loved feeling the dopamine rush of another book that I enjoy so much I struggled to even put it down. This has truly been such a fantastic series and I very much can’t wait for the next in the series!

To Be A Fae Queen (Realm Chronicles Book 1) By Tricia Copeland – Review by Jeannie Anderson

I completely LOVED To Be A Fae Queen from page one. Princess Titania is only fifteen but a worthy successor of the crown. She’s very smart, compassionate and extremely skilled with archery. She literally cannot miss a shot no matter the distance. All of the characters are richly written, especially Titania. She faces many challenges and many hard decisions and faces each one with courage, grace and wisdom. Titania isn’t perfect and has a beautiful hero’s journey.

The world Titania lives in is beautiful but can be scary with the evil creatures plaguing their land. Amazing story by Tricia Copeland.  I cannot wait to read more about Titania.

I really enjoyed this book by Victoria Saccenti. It was an epic adventure that included all of my favorite paranormal creatures. The Last Danann had it all, adventure, drama, and love. The story was about Kailen and his journey to finding himself and love. Victoria Saccenti has created a vibrant world and I look forward to reading more from her.

This is my second book in this series. I was pretty excited when I saw this show up. Sadly this didn’t hold up to the previous one. The story covers a long time period and after a while I just seemed to lose interest. Maybe too many plots so I couldn’t become invested in the main story. There also are a TON of characters to keep track of who/what they are and alliances, mates etc. Some we met in the last book others were new to me. While I enjoy stories of this genre it was a struggle for me to finish this one.

It was nice to see Soren and Maya and see how they are getting along and how much they moved forward. Plus seeing more of she skills. I am curious about Eachann’s story though.

Overall this is a good story. I do like the characters and they are interesting.

The Girl and the Demon (The Girl and the Raven Book 3) by Pauline Gruber – Review by Lorrene Huisman

The Girl and The Demon (The Girl and The Raven, #3)The Girl and The Demon by Pauline Gruber
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Wow! Just wow! I loved the prior two novels and this one delivered so much, and from the prior two I gained a lot of knowledge about the events that surround Lucy and her friends, but this one really went all out. Sadly, it is the final novel in the series, I am sad to see it end, as I had a lot of enjoyment reading this awesome series! The climax to conclusion of the novel, honestly it was perfect and very much suited.

I had been following the journey as well as battles for Lucy and her friends for some time now And honestly, poor Lucy she can not catch a break. She wants badly to live her life as normal as can be, but for who she is as well as what she was, that seems certainly impossible. Things took off really in the prior, leading to this one. So much happens, literally action was happening where ever seemed fit it seemed, I honestly did not know what characters would still be standing by the time I completed reading the book!

This one really gave it all. The author, she’s amazing and she knows exactly what she is doing when she is doing her writing and word play! For me reading this one, I felt I was along side Lucy, as she knew pretty much as I guess she always had , that this is her fight. To save her friends she must fight, and not know what the out come would be, but trust in herself was a big thing of the inner power of herself! The way the ending comes fort was so good and perfectly made. It was a good and well done way to end the series. I really hope I might read some adventures of Lucy and the gang again though!

I have been a fan of this series since the first novel, everything that happens in the prior novels leads into the next one in the series. I loved every character as well as how they grew and became who they were. Basically they found themselves and embraced more less their true nature of who they are and whom they should be. I really enjoyed this series and loved everything of it with all my heart. I will miss seeing what Lucy and her friends get up to or face in the paranormal world they have to deal with. I know for sure what ever the author cooks up next, will be just as amazing, and I will be reading the next thing they will have written! The author wrote a wonderful and compelling series, and I forever thank them for that!

This is a Fantasy/Adventure that once you start reading you won’t want to put it down. This is the continuance of The Titanian’s and their struggle with the daemon’s trying to take over with help from the evil mages. I don’t want to give to much away.Kailen and Talaith will take you on quite the adventure is this absolute must read. What price is he willing to pay to keep them together? If you like mythology, you will love this book. This author has an amazing descriptive writing talent. I could see the words painting a picture in my mind. The characters are complex, complicated, and easy to relate to their personalities. In this story, there are ups and downs, ins and outs, twists and turns that kept me on the edge of my seat. Kallen has pledged his sword to the Titanian. Talaith is a Titanian warrior that is a beauty. When they are attacked their passion comes seeping into play they are a force to be reckoned with. Can they become passionate with one another like they are passionate about fighting against the daemons? I highly recommend this book to find out for yourself. Just have enough time to finish the entire book in one sitting.

This book was a fantastic continuation of Titanian’s Phoenix, the beautiful and complex lore and magic in the first book is added onto beautifully. This book follows Kallian and Tallarith and the rest of the group as they continue in their fight against the evil threatening to overthrow them and their continued fight to protect all other magic, supernatural creatures, and humans from the evil conspiring against them. This book was absolutely spellbinding! The complex world and magic was perfect and the characters were so well written and I just loved every page. It is very fast paced and hard to put down. I loved the lore surrounding Soren and Maya and reading their story as the plot developed was thrilling. There is plenty of steamy romance and plenty of action also. The story revolves around Maya and Soren and their inner circle as they fight for all of the good with magic, supernatural creatures and humans against the evil determined to turn the tide in their favor. The other characters in their inner circle all have complexities and I hope to read more about them. All in all I am in awe of the magical world and lore built in this story and can’t wait to read the next book! Highly recommend this book!

This novel was the second in the series and I will say I need to go back and read the prior novel. I was very impressed with all components of this novel, inside and out. It gave me a lot, and the visual effects were very much welcomed, the story was not only convincing, but also powerful!

I loved Kailen! He was a total bass ass. He had his battle scars as well. he was a person and character I truly fell for and felt for! He was doing all he could to help his world, no matter at the end what would be left of him, he knew it would all be worth it. He is doing a battle to save his world, which was beautifully as it was described. He was ready for what ever came his way, or was he? He has a fragile heart, his soul mate was lost to him in a very breaking his heart way and he truly felt that he would never love again, as the pain is not bearable enough to endure once again. Perhaps the universe had other plans though?

Talaith was look more than the eyes when Kailen met her, for his eyes saw her soul. Every part of him said that he will not want her or feel for her. Could he deny the true attraction he was feeling despite the promise he made to himself? I loved the drama this book brought as well as the suspense. Rooting for Kailen and Talaith to find the destiny they seemed meant for was me since their first meet. I loved the world of the fantasy this novel delivered. It was brilliant, I can not find a better word to use!

The book was captivating and stunning with descriptions as well as the words of the writing! The book was amazing from start to finish. This was a first time author read for me, I am left wanting to read so much more by this amazing author, and I defiantly will! This book was so good and seriously you need to read this book, for all it is worth and all that it is! Pure brilliance!

The Girl and the Demon (The Girl and the Raven Book 3) by Pauline Gruber – Review by Angela Hayes

The Girl and The Demon (The Girl and The Raven, #3)The Girl and The Demon by Pauline Gruber
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

The Girl and the Demon is the third book in The Girl and the Raven series by Pauline Gruber. As this is the third book in the series and continues the story that we started back in Book One, I highly recommend reading the first two books before diving into this one. There is a whole lot of important information, character details and development in those first two books which will enhance your reading experience of this book, and the series as a whole.
As with the other two books, this is a very original YA paranormal adventure- with witches, gargoyles, demons, magic, good vs evil, danger, agendas, friendship, drama, challenges, and a little romance- all wrapped up in a well-developed, complex, and multi-layered plot.
The adventure continues as Lucy (and friends) are tested on a whole new level- with the most powerful demon drawn into the mix. What happens makes for a captivating read! I certainly hope there are more books planned for this series!
Happy reading!

Thank you, Pauline Gruber!

Journeys Through SpaceTime (Journey’s Through Book 1) by James Talisman Review by Melissa Saxton.

An amazing Sci-Fi and Fantasy Journey awaits as you transverse the Multiverse theory. A strange and mysterious voice visits multiple individuals from multiple universes with the same mysterious message. The message is cryptic, but they all have to find out what it means for them and how they are all connected to combat a evil force.

This book is an art form in how the characters are developed, giving you all the details necessary to both fall in love with characters, or have strong feelings of dislike in only short passages as you learn every characters backstory and how they tie into this journey.

Tying together all of these individuals stories is masterful, and kept me hooked and wanting to learn more. The book is definitely complex, and you will find yourself deep into the story with time passing quickly as you devour this story. Fans of science fiction, fantasy, dystopian societies, will all enjoy this story as it completely bends your basic understanding of the universe.

I was immediately looking for book 2 as soon as I finished the last page!

The Last Danann is the third book in the Titanian Chronicles by Victoria Saccenti. This is such a fantastic series- with wonderfully descriptive writing and clever details that really brought the story to life. The author’s world building being both imaginative and well-constructed, which resulted in a richly vivid tale. The Last Danann: Titanian Chronicles 2The Last Danann: Titanian Chronicles 2 by Victoria Saccenti
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

The Last Danaan by Victoria Saccenti is the sequel to Titanian’s Phoenix in her exciting fantasy series the Titanian Chronicles. The story opens with Kailen battling Astarot’s horde and dark wizards alongside the young Titanian Soren. Kailen has protection from his love Nadrine, a powerful sorceress. When Kailen notices a fellow warrior had been outnumbered by two strong adversaries, he tries to give aid, only to be put in the sights of a lieutenant. Nadrine interferes, but a dark wizard vanquishes her. From that moment, Kailen declares he will never love another again. Fast-forward to the 21st century and Kailen has attracted the desire of Talaith, a sorceress that has the ability to see memories of others. Despite his attempt to ignore her, he finds himself drawn in and becomes intimate. Kailen makes Talaith his right hand and vows to protect her.

Dubtach, Oras, and Brysys have somehow broken free from the exile realm. Brysys is adamant in reaching Eachann to plead her case. Unknown to many, Astarot had kept the sorceress locked in a cell. From the view of Eachann and the Titanains, she is a traitor due to a conspiracy caused by Eachann’s brother. When Brysys is battling against one of Dubtach’s creatures, Kailen and Talaith come to her aid. The powerful sorceress endures severe injuries, and they teleport straight into Eachann’s home. The vampire doesn’t promise Brysys anything more than to receive treatment and if she stays any longer, he will kill her. This causes a problem for Kailen and Talaith, as they were already assigned a mission in another location. Kailen vowed to never be separated from Talaith, but Brysys has to be taken to Soren’s to recover. While Talaith and Kailen are separated, will he be able to keep his promise, or will Talaith end up like Nadrine?

Victoria Saccenti’s The Last Danaan complimented perfectly Titanian’s Phoenix. I have had the pleasure of reading both books in order and found the developing plot captivating. The characters in the first book still appeared and the connections that Kailen and Talaith had with them continue to develop. I could fully understand the hesitation Talaith had of showing her emotions to Kailen. He did a lot to dismiss her overtures and was distrustful of her intentions. I didn’t expect how quickly Kailen changed his thoughts about Talaith, especially after his vow to never love another woman since Nadrine had died. Eachann’s pain from discovering Brysys is alive is believable, and I would probably feel similarly if a few hundred years had passed since being betrayed. The story’s pace is definitely one of my favorite aspects because it held my attention and I found myself unable to stop reading until I reached the end. The open ending leads directly into another edition of the series. I would recommend this 5-star fantasy romance to any adult reader that enjoys shifter stories. The ability to look through their eyes and see what Talaith and Kailen feelings is effortless and makes this book a delight. I look forward to more stories in The Titanian Chronicles.

I mean where do I start? Wow just wow. I really found myself lost in this one as the story evolved. I like how the author is able to combine different paranormal storylines and bring them together. I like the use of Norse mythology.

I could really relate to Talaith and I was glued to the pages to see the romance between her and Kallen blossom. I really like how there is a good mix of drama. The whole good versus evil is betrayed really well. The author has a refreshing style that brings the characters off of the page. The drama plays out and you feel as though you are right there with them. I cannot wait to read more from this author.

I enjoyed reading Kailen and Talaith’s story. Both are rather tortured souls that find completion with each other. There is a lot more history with Kailen compared to Talaith but I felt like the author did justice to both, considering that it is his story. This story is a continuation of the Titanians’ struggle with the daemon’s trying to take over with the help of their evil mages. I enjoyed seeing old characters throughout the story and the introduction of new ones.

Ms. Saccenti was wonderful in her descriptive language of all the different places this story takes the reader. I felt like I was experiencing the unique atmosphere of South America, New York, and Scotland with the characters. Her depiction of the characters were such that I found them relatable, too (in as far as you can with a paranormal character).

All in all, a very enjoyable read! The plot, the characters, and the different places kept me reading and I will continue reading this series to see how they defeat evil in the end!
