I simply couldn’t put this book down. I love a good paranormal adventure and this by far exceeding my expectations. Action packed, vivid imagery, and great characters, Travers kept me enthralled from start to finish. I truly don’t have the words to do it justice. If you enjoy paranormal, this book is absolutely a must read. Fantastic!
Blood Rebellion ( Supernatural Intelligence Agency #1) is a awesome fast paced paranormal/fantasy/action book. This is the first book I have read by this author and i am a fan. The characters in the book are intriguing. There is a little romance and the story keeps pulling you in. I highly recommend this book.
Blood Rebellion (Supernatural Intelligence Agency Book 1) by Nadine Travers is a short paranormal story that gives us a female Heroine and she is kicking b*tt. Nadine has written a story that I would have liked to be longer as some things felt a little rushed but it is well written and fast paced but I would have liked more background on the characters and their relationships but it kept me interested and engaged. There are a lot of varieties with the supernatural, magic and something for everyone.
Casey and others are on the hunt for a vampire in hiding who is causing trouble. However, there is more going on that they are just learning about and if they don’t get to the bottom of it, it will mean war and more deaths. Whilst on the hunt she stumbles upon the one thing she didn’t know even existed for her but finds she likes it.
I liked the characters and I enjoyed the story and look forward to reading more from Nadine.
Blood Rebellion by Nadine Travers is the first book in the Supernatural Intelligence Agency series. I picked this book up and read from beginning to end in one sitting. This has a bit of everything going for it romance, action, adventure, supernatural, and suspense. The main character Casey is really fun to read and she does not take crap from anyone. What I liked was the introduction of characters to Casey and her mission. She is having to work out who is really there to help and who is running their own agenda. Also, I like the take on vampire affairs and how it works in this world Travers has created. I look forward to reading more in this series to see where it goes.
Blood Rebellion by Nadine Travers is the first book in the Supernatural Intelligence Agency series. This book is full of action while also proving the fantasy angle I find enjoyable. This is the first book that I have read by this author and it is on I can say I enjoyed. I found it to be fast paced and exciting. The characters were so engaging, even the peripheral ones seemed to have an impact. I was drawn into the story and felt like I was part of the journey. The author has done a great job of building up a new world for you to become a part of. The writing style was one I took to instantly. This is a brilliant start to a series and I can’t wait to see what is next.
This is my first book by this author, I enjoyed it from beginning to end. This is a paranormal story that pulled me in right from the start and kept me turning pages to the end. This is a well written story that has characters that made the story feel realistic. Casey is after a rogue vampire but while she is searching for him, she discovers a new threat. This story is full of conspiracy, secrets and twists and turns you don’t want to miss. I highly recommend this book, I didn’t regret picking it up and neither will you.

The story follows Casey, a Daywalker who is part of the Vampire Internal Affairs department under orders of the Supernatural Intelligence Agency. Casey is on a mission to track down her target and won’t be distracted from her task despite those who try, including her suspicious boss and an alluring shifter. This story is short and moves at a very fast pace giving a quick introduction to this world.

Blood Rebellion (Supernatural Intelligence Agency Book 1) by Nadine Travers was a creative and intriguing novel. Casey was an interesting character and also intimidating. I loved her choice in the katana and all her training. I also loved how she was unique and the backstory of how here species was created was cool. This story moved quickly and I am still extremely curious about the antagonist known as The Lady. I do hope more is revealed about her in book two. Great read.

The story Blood Rebellion (Supernatural Intelligence Agency Book 1) by Nadine Travers is a fantasy/action/adventure book. It is a story that I found to be fast-paced and has suspense, thrills, and some romance. I loved reading about the character of Casey. She is strong, independent, and on a mission. It involves bringing in the rogue vampire, Damaris. This sets her on a path where she begins to uncover a conspiracy and rebellion in the paranormal community. Will Casey catch Damaris? Will she find out who has hatched a ploy to shift the balance of power? Read this book to find out. This story does have plenty of action and danger. I love how the author writes as I felt like I was right there with Casey on her mission. I was rooting for her to succeed. There are several other characters that are introduced and while some assist and help Casey, still others have their own plans and agenda. Will they succeed? I enjoyed how the author builds the world and agencies that are all involved. I have always enjoyed books about the paranormal world and this book is a good example of why. Don’t miss out on an exciting book. I highly recommend it.

Blood Rebellion by Nadine Travers an other worldly five-star read. This is the first novel in the Supernatural World Agency: World 1 and I am so eager for he rest of the series. Casey reminds me of so many amazing women I have read in the past, this is a very busy genre and you always come across similar concepts, but the writing in this one has a freshness to it and fight to keep you hooked. This is action packed and keeps going in every page, I felt like I had been part of an epic story when I finished and its short enough to read quickly, do yourself and favour and pick this story up. I hadn’t read the author previously but will definitely be reading more.

I love a good story about fae. You have so many different directions you could go in. I felt the possibilities that could come from a story like this. The authors had a great structure for this story. Though it missed the mark on some parts. The characters were good but you had so much information repeated and changed that it was a little hard to follow. I wasn’t sure if the characters names where changing or if there were new ones being introduced. It was a good story and you could see the direction the authors were wanting to go it just didn’t quite get there. Cassandra is a great character and that’s why I did four stars. She is really lovable. It’s like she is an angel. Through the whole story I felt her and all she was. So kind, intelligent and beautiful. I think I’m going to stick with this series. I feel like it’s only going to get better.

Chasing Starlight: Cassandra’s Story was a sweet, romantic, and adventurous read. Cassandra recently moved home to begin working as a teacher when she runs into her old flame Michael. Things are going well but she is being hunted during her other task she is bound to. She is to travel to peoples dreams every night to collect a special dust. While there her fellow dream weavers are disappearing. Given an ultimatum by her father, can she fight against the odds to keep her true love and stop who ever is causing the disappearances?
This book was a quick and easy read. It was organized well and had an easy flow. I loved the characters and their different abilities and even those that didn’t have them. I thought Michael’s ability was awesome and I would love to be able to have it. I also loved how the authors ended this novel. I was not expecting that. Great read!

Chasing Starlight: Cassandra’s Story is a romantic fantasy story in The Daughters of Night Chronicles by Matilda Reyes and Jennifer Siddoway. Cassandra is a new 3rd grade teacher by day and a Dream Weaver by night. Just as Cassandra is starting to figure out her new day to day life as a teacher, her Dream Weaver duty of collecting the dust of dreamers starts to get dangerous. There are other Dream Weavers that are disappearing which brings much alarm to those around Cassandra, including her father, the Lord of Night. Cassandra must do everything in her power to remain safe, for herself, her students, her family, and her latest love interest. Cassandra feels torn as everyone is telling her not to return to the Realm of Dreams because she is in danger, but she also knows the importance of maintaining the illusion between the two worlds.
I will say it was refreshing to read a story where the main character dealt with anxiety. As someone who also suffers from anxiety, it was almost as if I was Cassandra as the authors described her panic attacks. The authors were very thorough and detailed which really helped paint the picture of the fantasy side of this story, such as the Realm of Dreams. I do feel that there could have been a bit more detail given when dealing with the main conflict. There was so much build up to it and it seemed to be over in a single chapter. Other than that I thought it was a very well put together story.

I really enjoyed this book. It’s plot lines kept me on my toes throughout the entire story. Cassandra is a wonderful main character that you can relate to very well with her struggles in her regular life, relationship as well as the magical world and being a Fae. I liked how each plot intertwined itself with each other to end in this thrilling unforeseeable ending. I could literally not put down this book.

Chasing Starlight:Cassandra’s Story (The Daughters of Night Chronicles) by Jennifer Siddoway and Matilda Reyes is a pleasantly slow build. A very sweet and warm love story that rocks along at an unhurried pace. The characters are slowly developed as you go along in an unhurried pace, giving you plenty of time to really know this couple. Then like a stream that starts at a trickle and then becomes a raging river, before you know it you cannot put the book down. Cassandra and Michael are only focused on their relationship and finding a way back. The deluge that engulfs them will hold you in the book until the end. Very good read, I’m ready for more.

I really enjoyed this story. Following the journey of Cassie and Michael finding each other was a pleasure to read. I loved reading a fantasy that included a paranormal individual with a real life problem, social anxiety. This was fresh and new. I enjoyed this book and look forward to seeing more from Jennifer Siddoway and Matilda Reyes as they are a really good collaboration as authors.

Chasing Starlight (Daughters of Night Chronicles) by Jennifer Siddoway and Matilda Reyes 4 of 5 Stars “The boogie man is real, and Cassandra Williams would know—she’s seen him” Cassandra Williams is a elementary school teacher in Southern California, she is a likeable character and very relatable with her relationships with her family, a potential love interest in Henry and her concerns at starting her new job. All very normal until we then learn that as well as her day job as a teacher Cassandra also moonlights at night as a ‘Dream Weaver’, oh and her father is the ‘Lord of Night’. This is the first book in the fantasy series, ‘Daughters of Night Chronicles’, by Siddoway and Reyes. I am new to these two authors, and I really enjoyed this fantasy read, with mystery, adventure and a touch of romance thrown in. It is well written, and the authors set the scene with their descriptions, bringing their fantasy world, the ‘Realm of Dreams’ alive. As a Dream Weaver, Cassandra must “collect the dust of dreamers to maintain the illusion between our worlds”. The storyline had me hooked form page one and follows Cassandra as she learns that Dream Weavers are disappearing and that she maybe next, for in the shadows lurks a demon who wants to prevent Cassandra from leaving the Real of Dreams. Therefore Cassandra must find a way of defeating the ‘Shadow Demon’ and return to her daytime life as a elementary school teacher. This was a lovely fantasy read, and it was so engaging that it kept me turning the pages well into the night as I was cheering Cassandra on. I look forward to the rest of the series.

I feel you got to know her quite while throughout the book, bringing in the anxiety was commendable and a great way to show this in the story.
This book is brilliant, a great page turner, magical, suspenseful and a wonderful fantasy read. It has brilliant characters, as well a great story line trying to find out if the demon is going to be caught! Would highly recommend and I cannot wait for the next one in the series.

I was very excited to read this book. I loved the cover and the synopsis sounded intriguing. I was thrilled that I found a book with an original storyline. Cassandra is a dream weaver. She enters your dreams to help you then collects dream dust to send to the Fae Realm. How cool is that! She’s also the daughter of the Fae king, so far so good.
I started reading and found out that Cass has crippling anxiety, which is fine. Unfortunately this overtook the storyline. It became repetitive until it was tiresome. Almost every page was about her trying to breathe through an anxiety attack. I felt like the actual story about the creature after the dream weavers took a back seat. It was thrown in as a reminder between her attacks and her relationship with Michael.
Certain things didn’t make sense. She’s finished school, has a degree and is now working as a teacher. Therefore that would make her mid to late twenties yet when Michael kisses her gently, she runs away like a ten year old. The Fae are supposed to be a strong race yet Cass was confused and unsure of herself throughout the entire book. When the confrontation happened between the creature and Cass, it was anticlimactic. This creature was supposed to be strong and killing dream weavers yet Cass, who can barely function through a day without a panic attack, defeated him so quickly. It didn’t make sense.
This series has potential to be great. The story is original and there are seven sisters. Each one can have her own story. It can be truly amazing.

Chasing Starlight (The Daughter’s of night) Cassandra’s story by Jennifer Siddoway and Matilda Reyes is a 4.5 star read. Cassandra is readying herself to start her new job as a teacher, she suffers from Generalised Anxiety Disorder so things are difficult for her at the best of times but she luckily has her twin Halle to help bring her out of her anxiety attacks. Cassandra is also a daughter of the king of the fae and with that she has a special job that keeps the fae world secret, she’s a dream weaver, she collects the dream dust of people she helps but there’s danger out there for dream weavers like her from a shadow demon who wants the dream dust for itself. This book was written by new to me authors so I wasn’t sure what to expect, but I was very happy I got to read this story, I felt the characters were well thought out and each had their place in a well written story, I am eagerly waiting for book 2.

I absolutely loved reading Chasing Starlight by Jennifer Siddoway and Matilda Reyes! The book took only a couple of chapters before it drew me in, and after that I was hooked! I’ve read several fae books before, but none like this. This one was very unique in its content and fae abilities. I loved the romance and slight suspense I felt. I was very anxious to see what happened with the Shadow Demon and was not disappointed! Also, in non-spoiler fashion, I absolutely loved the lion wanting to be called King of the Murder Kitties! I died laughing. I enjoyed this book so much and I highly recommend it!

Chasing Starlight: Cassandra’s Story (The Daughters of Night Chronicles) by Matilda Reyes & Jennifer Siddoway is a short fantasy romance and an interesting tale to add to the series. It does take time for the story to get going though. It seems that being Fae is not everything it is cracked up to be when you have to live the life. Whilst I did like the story the premise was not quite there and there were somethings that detracted from me getting lost in the words and it becoming a great story. There were lots of mistakes with editing & words and that made me have to stop and read through that part again, so there was not that easy flow. There was also a bit of repetition in parts that didn’t need to be told again as it did not add anything more to the story. I liked the characters, but they did not draw me in they seemed to be a little lacking. Having said that if you can overlook these things, I am sure you will like the story. I look forward to seeing what the ladies have next.

Its about Cassandra Williams who is living her best life after moving to Southern California. She loves her job as a Elementary School teacher and she has even been able to moonlight as a Dream Weaver. Her father is the Lord of Night and he insists she collect all the dust left over from dreamers every night. Things are going so well Cassandra thinks she might even have time for some romance until the shadows make their scary dark appearance and try to keep Cassandra from leaving. Once she learns that other Dream Weavers are starting to disappear she knows she has to help or will she be defeated by the Shadow demon? Read Chasing Starlight to find out! Chasing Starlight: Cassandra’s Story is my first book by Matilda Reyes and Jennifer Siddoway. I will be reading more by these authors. I found myself lost within the pages of this book. Reyes and Siddoway attention to detail allows the reader to see what is happening within the pages of the book. This is a fantasy book and the characters are complex and adventurous. The story’s main character is Cassandra who is a strong female. She is getting her life in a routine whereas she is a teacher by day and a dream weaver by night. There is one small problem there is someone is hunting dream weavers. Will Cassandra be taken like so many others? You will have to read this short book. It is a fast read that you would want to finish in one sitting.

Wow, what a brilliant introduction to these two authors, they have created and brilliant fantasy read that takes you along on a very creative imaginative story that hooks you from the beginning. I was captivated by the details and the mentally visual aspect of this read, I could picture everything in my head as I read along. I absolutely loved the storyline of this read it’s not very often you read one revolving around dreams but also one that has suspense and mystery. This read has some brilliant characters that i loved reading about and following along their journey. For this being a read on the shorter side, it was jammed packed with everything you could need from this genre of book and flowed effortlessly. I can’t wait to see what else these authors bring us and can’t wait to find out what happens next.

Chasing Starlight. Cassandra’s Story. I really enjoyed reading this book. At the start of this story Cassandra (Cass) seems to be a shy and anxious young women, trying to deal with what life has thrown at her, she’s helped largely by her sister Halle and Cass starts to develop in confidence. Henry is a sweet young boy with a few troubles of his own and the relationship between him and Cass is heartwarming. I really hope there will be another book featuring Cass and Henry as I long to know what happens next.

Chasing Starlight: Cassandra’s Story, and a what appears to be the first novel of the Daughters of Night Chronicles promises to be a fantastical story with fae, drama, and a laced positive message. The cover reels you in from the get go and is absolutely gorgeous. Now, I will be the first to admit that I am picky when it comes to the fantasy novels that I will read. Normally this is a topic or genre that can be a real hit or miss for me depending on how the book is written and the premise or underlying story lines. I sincerely wanted to absolutely love this book, but I just struggled with it so much. I hate giving low rated reviews but I this book needs more work before it should be properly read and reviewed. Again, this book is fabulous in the get go and has all the pieces that would make for a wonderful read but it has several areas that need work in order for that to be the actual case. I spotted lots of grammar errors and spelling errors but the real issue for me was the bouncing and ever changing fact contradiction. We had characters that names completely changed, obvious repetitive areas of information that just looked like it was missed in the editing process, and over all the story lacked a general polish. I felt as if I was reading a rough first maybe second draft. Again this book has all the potential to be great it just needs a bit of fine tuning. I would be more than happy to read and review again if that is ever the situation that this book finds itself. For now I will leave a three star review for the bones that have a good general direction, the fabulous cover, and the mere ability to make me read this book in whole when I was frustrated several times throughout.
