4 stars! Great second book in the Journeys Through TimeSpace Series. Sci-fi fantasy is not my usual genre, but there are times when an author can keep me entertained and interested and this book definitely does the trick. Time travel is always a fun topic and I became very immersed in the story of 3 friends, Matt, Julia and Dan, on a treasure hunt you could say. The different cities, places and worlds they travel to, are nicely written and it feels as if I were along for the ride myself. The story is just so interesting and packed full, I was sometimes confused but was easily able to jump right back in. I love how each location is mentioned before going into the next part of the story, it really helped me keep up with what was happening, and the list in the beginning showing all the characters and what world they are from was really nice. This book can be read as a stand alone, but I would highly recommend reading them in order. I will eagerly be waiting on the next installment.

Journeys through TimeSpace by James Talisman a journey of a five-star read. This is number two in the Journeys Through series, I have read them in order and feel that you do get the best out of them that way as there are recurring characters and a good backstory that you may miss if you don’t. Once again the author has brought us along on a jam packed journey, one that has you guessing and thinking at every turn, it is a busy story and there is a lot going on, but the author manages to keep it all together and as long as you aren’t easily distracted when reading you are able to keep up well (even if you are do try as I am a flicker on the tv while I read and I managed to keep up with it okay). This has a great sucking power as I will be thinking of something while I’m at work, and then all of a sudden, I will be thinking about who will win the battle and who I’m invested in. The only other thing to add is what an imagination this author must have, it always surprises me when I read sci-fi and fantasy as I figure the authors minds must never stop to be filled with such amazing landscapes and this author is no exception.

James Talisman hit another home run with this Journeys Through TimeSpace. I highly recommend reading book one so you have some back story and introduction to the characters. This is a Sci-Fi story but there is a lot more than that going on. There are many different layers to the story you are about to read. It is packed full of action and you find yourself turning the pages faster to see what is coming down the line at you. The characters are complex and engaging. I felt at home with them. I was on an adventure with them. I highly recommend this journey and hope you enjoy this story as much as I have.

This is the eighth book in this series, the best yet. I highly suggest reading this series from the beginning, they are full of action and adventure. This book is no different. This is a creative, well written story that took me on an adventure of finding someone who may not even exist. I enjoyed the characters, they made the story feel real. I enjoyed seeing the different characters such as Bran (dog) and Sean (donkey). Fingin finds Bran who leads him to a powerful woman who sends him on an adventure in search of his grandmother. I had a hard time putting this book down once the adventure started. Problem is – she may not even exist. I highly recommend this story to see what happens next.

This is my first book by this author, and I have to admit it was a hit. When it comes to vampires, I have to admit that subject is getting a lot of attention. Sometimes the story is good and holds my interest (like this one did) and then there are others that if read one you have read them all. Nadine Travers attention to detail is amazing. Her characters are fully developed and full of zest. The plotline was engaging and full of action. Casey is a daywalker, who just so happens to be on a mission to bring back Damaris to the Vampire Internal Affairs Headquarters. There is so much more to this story and I do not want to give too much away. I highly recommend this book and I cannot wait to read more by this author.

This is a new author for me and I enjoyed her book from beginning to end. It is a creative story that is full of action, lies, broken promises and trust or lack thereof. I enjoyed the characters as they are supportive to each other and they made the story feel realistic. Roderick is convinced to take on a task that will take him on an adventure of a lifetime. This is where the story picks up and betrayal and a fight for control as a race against time starts if they are going to stop the war. I highly recommend this story as these characters are pushed to limits they never expected.

The story Black Blade (Black Blade Book 1) by Alexander Charalambides is a wonderful fantasy book that I loved reading. The story pulls you in from the beginning and I found myself wondering what was going to happen next. The story has the character of Lance chosen for a journey/quest. He has the sword Excalibur and starts down a path down under present-day London. How will this journey end? Read this book to find out. This is a story that has magic, action, danger, warring families, and a quest to finish. Lance is a character that has undertaken this journey and is determined to see it through. I also enjoyed many of the characters that Lance meets along the way. Some of them are helpful and others seem to have their own agenda and plans. Who can Lance trust? The story is told from several characters POV. It had me guessing and turning pages to find out what happens next. It creates an atmosphere of excitement and mystery. Don’t miss out on a book that you won’t want to put down until the final page. I found myself not wanting this adventure to be over. I would highly recommend reading it.

This is not my first book by this author but it is my favorite yet. This is a well written story that has characters that bring the story to life. This is paranormal story that is full of action that kept me turning pages. When fate comes calling will Lance recoginze that this is his destiny? As the voices inside him grow louder, who will he listen too? He gets stuck in a war where he will have to make a decision. Will the sword rule him or does he have it in him to rule the sword? Strong, supportive chraracters make this story easy to read. I highly recommend reading this book.

The main character is a young girl that brought the story to life for me. She finds that she has magical powers but when her father finds out he sends her away to a school. There are others like her but there are two she is determined to find out more about no matter what. Find out what happens next and pick up this book. This is a fast paced story that is engaging that kept me turning pages. A great start to a new series. I highly recommend this book.

Summer Princess (Dark Fae Book 1) by Sloane Murphy is a dark paranormal fantasy book. Annnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnndddddd the ending, DID NOT SEE THAT COMING! Absolute total surprise and colour me Gobsmacked, very clever Sloane, very clever. The plot is very well thought out and cleverly orchestrated. There are some pretty barbaric and gruesome ways of the people of the world in which Sloane has created but you are unable to put it down.
They were all friends as children until a cruel and vicious execution of one of their own tore them apart. It seems what they have seen in front of them is certainly all a lie.
This is the first book I have read by this author and I will certainly be following up on other works.
I thoroughly enjoyed this second book in the series and continuing to follow Brigit and Logan. Byrd Nash is a fascinating author to me and I am really enjoying this YA fantasy series. It is fun, fresh, detailed, and imaginative. It is a quick and easy read and was a very enjoyable afternoon escape. Will definitely recommend to others and looking forward to seeing how the story/series will continue.

A Study in Spirits (College Fae book #2) by Byrd Nash is a young adult book and it’s a real easy read. Wonderful characters that pull you right in and you feel like you know them. This is a sweet little story about magical creatures and humans living together and working together, having friendships together and solving a mystery together. A Study In Spirits Collage Fae Book 2. By Byrd Nash is a YA coming of age fantasy book. Accused of vandalism and stealing test answers, Brigit must find the guilty party to stay at Leopold Otto University. I really enjoyed reading this book, quite lighthearted and very easy to finish. I started on book 2, so will have to go back a read number 1 now. This is the second book by Byrd Nash I have read and I think I’ve added a new favourite author to my list. Her writing is just brilliant. Thanks for another great read.

Blood Rebellion is a story full of suspense, action and thrills. I really enjoyed reading this authors work. The story was really fast paced and entertaining. The characters were well written. The plot was very enjoyable as well. The main character Casey is on a mission to track down a rogue vampire. What holds you is the fact that not everything is what it seems. When you feel you have it figured out bam you’re thrown another puzzle piece. I’m shocked that this is the first story I am reading by this author. I can’t wait to read more. You will not be disappointed reading this. If you enjoy strong lead characters, a little romance and some awesome action this is for you. The author makes you feel like you’re in the mix through the whole story. I really enjoy stories that can put the images right into your mind.
A Study in Spirits: A College Fae magic series #2 by Byrd Nash is a YA story that is fun and full of adventure as the gang from the first book return. There is more to the worlds and magical creatures in this story that have never been seen before. Byrd’s imagination takes us on a journey where something has come from a place that few know about and they must race against time before old teachings and knowledge are gone for good and hope that they too do not get lost for good.

A Study in Spirits (College Fae book #2) by Byrd Nash was an exciting and fun read. A new semester and new surprises. I loved all the characters of this novel. It is a great second addition to the series. I loved book one but his one has taken its place as my favorite. It has an excellent storyline with a great plot and climax. It is easy to follow and organized. The characters are creative, relatable, and have excellent development. This is an easy 5 star read.

I enjoyed this young adult story. This is an author I have enjoyed from the first book I picked up. She writes with creativity and her details make the story feel realistic. This book is no different, page turning fast reading. This story is about mystery, making new friends and magic. Brigit has been accused of stealing and vandalism. In order for her to stay at the University she must find the person who is behind it. Will she find who did it with the help of Logan and the new girl who seems to know the guilty? These are great characters that are supportive of each other. They are connectable and made the story engaging. I highly recommend reading this book to find out who is really behind the crimes.

It is a story that will pull you in from the beginning and I found myself not wanting to put it down. It is the second in a series and I loved the magical creatures and other characters that are introduced. The author did an amazing job in building a world where humans, fae, and others all live and in this book work together. I loved reading the characters of Brigit and Logan. Brigit finds that she must defend herself against accusations that could get her thrown out of the university. She now must discover who or what is destroying books in the campus library. Along with Logan, Emma, and others, she sets about finding the guilty party. Will they find out the truth about who is behind the destruction at the library? Read this book to find out. This story flows smoothly and I found myself feeling like I was right there with the characters. I found myself lost in the pages and when I read the last chapter wishing that it was a little longer. I would recommend reading this book.

5 Star Blood Rebellion (Supernatural Intelligence Agency Book 1) by Nadine Travers is a very well written short paranormal story that I found myself lost in the pages and couldn’t stop reading till the end. This is my first read by this Author and definitely will not be my last. This story has a bit of everything from action to suspense and some Romance and the twists and turns will have you on the edge of your seat. Casey is on a mission to bring in Damaris a rogue vampire. What will she discove? Can she catch him? Find out what happens next in this must read. I look forward to reading more from this Author.

Blood Rebellion by Nadine Travers. Such a good read. I really got into this story and was sorry when it came to an end. Each page is teaming with information on each character and I love how it flips back and forth. I think Nadine Travers is a excellent author, who gives great attention to detail, nothing is left up in the air. It’s a short story but it doesn’t fall short on excitement. Excellent start to a new series and I can’t wait for the next book. Thank you.

I enjoyed this book and cannot wait to read more of the series. This is very good Urban Fantasy with some hot scenes thrown in to keep it even more interesting. The characters are good, they are believable and not all cookie cutter replications of each other. I enjoyed Casey as she learns more and more about they way things really are. It shows she can grow and adapt, which makes for a good main character. The story itself pulls you in and leaves you wanting more. The only downside for me is that considering this is a first book in a series, I felt a little thrown into the middle of something. It is mentioned a few times about things that have gone on previously and I felt a bit like I missed something.
That being said, this is still a very good venture into urban fantasy and if you are a fan of strong but real female main characters in an urban fantasy setting, I recommend this book.

I found myself completely engrossed in this well written story. This is the first book I have read by this author and I am so glad I chose to take the chance because I enjoyed her writing style. This was fast paced, full of action, and wonderful characters. I love a good fantasy/paranormal read and I have to say that this has been added to my list of must reads. I cannot wait to read the next book in this series to find out where this story is going to take us. I highly recommend this book.
