The Case of Missing Books: A Summer McCloud Paranormal MysteryThe Case of Missing Books: A Summer McCloud Paranormal Mystery by Nikki Broadwell
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

The Case of Missing Books by Nikki Broadwell is the sixth book in the Summer McCloud paranormal mystery series. This can be read as a standalone and enjoyed completely. I had not read the other books in the series but after reading this I am going to go back and catch up. I really enjoyed the characters and the story. There were some twists that I did not expect and the story kept me intrigued. I don’t want to say too much because I don’t want to give any part of the story away. The writing flows well and keeps the story moving. The main character Summer is fun and interesting. She is a bit intriguing. I look forward to more adventures with Summer in the future.

Broken Sand Dollar (The Sand Dollar Series, #3) by J.D. Boudreaux – Review by Kerry Baker

Broken Sand DollarBroken Sand Dollar by J.D. Boudreaux
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Broken Sand Dollar by JD Boudreaux is the third book in the Sand Dollar series.it is definitely best to read these books in order so you get the full story.
The author has done a great job with this book. Having read the first two books I thought I knew exactly what direction the third would take. However the author took that expectation and completely threw it out. And did it with such ease it made me wonder how I could have ever thought it would go differently.
This book has to be my favourite in the series. I loved reading about Alex and how he was portrayed. This is a great book and a great series.

Little Do You Know (Bayou Devils MC) by A.M Myers
4 Stars

This is book five in the Bayou Devils MC series. You can read this story as a stand-alone but I highly suggest that you read the entire series. It is amazing! It is filled with wonderful characters that you’ll fall in love with, just like I did. Each book has been a page turner and this one is no different.

This book centres around Noah and Kady. They met in elementary school and have been inseparable until jealousy and his own stupidity cost him everything. Seven longs years, Noah sat in jail counting the days until he can be reunited with Kady. He is finally released and realizes that she’s been MIA. Noah knows that he’ll find her, she’s the other half of his soul.

Kady has always been wild and headstrong but after everything that she’s been through, she had to grow and toughen up. Kady definitely doesn’t make it easy for Noah. Someone is hunting her but can she trust Noah to protect her? Can they pick up where they left off?

I did get a little frustrated with how long it took Kady to open up to Noah. After I learned what happened to her and understanding the horror that she lived through, I forgave her. Although this isn’t my favourite book in the series, it is another winning installment. I can’t wait to see what Ms. Myers comes up with next!

The Case of Missing Books: A Summer McCloud Paranormal MysteryThe Case of Missing Books: A Summer McCloud Paranormal Mystery by Nikki Broadwell
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Ms. Broadwell has written several paranormal mystery books and with each one is increasingly better. This holds true to The Case of the Missing Books. With a title like that I could not resist reading the story. It is filled with witches, magic, mystery, fantasy, drama, and lots of adventures. Oh, did I mention there were books that could be causing the problems. The story has a fast-moving pace that kept me on the edge of my seat. The story, for me, was exactly what the doctor ordered. The characters are interesting, and Ms. Broadwell does an amazing job of intertwining them to keep you guessing from minute to minute where the next character takes you. It is not all fun and games as Ms. Broadwell teaches us in all her books. I hope you can sit down and enjoy the fun, keep you on your toes, mystery for all time enjoyment.

Claimed (The Torzial Affair Book 3) by Via Mari – Review by Maura Harper

CLAIMED (The Torzial Affair Book 3)CLAIMED by Via Mari
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This is book 3 of a trilogy and it picks up where book 2 left off. This SHOULD NOT be read as a stand-alone.

CLAIMED (The Torzial Affair Book 3) brings the trilogy together. It is not, however, immediately tied in a nice pretty bow. There is a lot still going on which kept me frantically turning the pages to get to the very end. For a variety of reasons, I was unable to read this series back to back and typically it would take me a few minutes to acclimate back to the characters in the book. NOT A PROBLEM WITH THIS TRILOGY. The books are one epic tale and from the very first page, I was in love with this series.

The Torzial Affair is a spin off of the Prestian Series and I am usually a bigger fan of the OG, but not in this case. The writing is layered and complex. Scenes move the story along and are written very visually. Threads from the previous books/series are woven together in a tapestry so full and rich, that it’s difficult to put these characters down.

I absolutely recommend this series. As I have said in each review, do NOT short change yourself and read out of order.

There be Demons (Andor Demon Wars, #1) by MK Theodoratus – Review by Natalie Hanley

There Be DemonsThere Be Demons by M.K. Theodoratus
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Set in a near future the story centres around 14 year old Britt who is just trying to make it out of the projects alive and with good enough grades to secure her future. Her life changes when she and her friends are recruited to hunt the demons that are threatening to take over her home town.
This book was imaginative and the characters and world-building were very impressive. I liked the way the story flipped back and forwards from the identifiable “human” world to the demon world. The main character of Britt was strong and feisty, just like a lead character should be. I found myself cheering for her in many parts of the book. I am looking forward to reading more in this series.

I enjoyed Hawk and Lottie’s story so much! Rescued from a terrible situation, Lottie finds herself living with other rescued girls at Mrs. Ames house. Lottie meets Hawk, Mrs. Ames grandson. Lottie and Hawk see a broken soul in each other and develop a friendship. With their 7 year age difference can it ever be more? This was such a great story with gear characters. I love that Lottie over comes the hand she was dealt and works so hard to not let her past define her.

The Devil’s Shadow by T. Birmingham
Wild Beasts Series book 4
My Rating 5 out of 5 stars

I love a good paranormal romance and upon reading the 4th book in this series I would say T. Birmingham has got me again. There is such great depth to the characters and so many different aspects to the book that cover multiple genres. In my opinion I would not read as a stand alone as there are character overlaps from previous books, but I would definitely recommend this series.

In this book we meet Ginny and Kieran. Ginny thinks she is going crazy and does not want anyone close to her for fear of dragging them down. Kieran believes Ginny is his mate, and once he finds his mate he will not stop until she knows she is his. The couple go through some tough trials and tribulations along with some of their friends, dealing with murders and trying to figure out why this is happening, and if they will will make it as a couple or have to go their separate ways.

I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book, as much as the previous book. I love the stories behind each character and learning of pasts and even current issues that haunt them. T. Birmingham as such a way with words, and the stories will suck you right in. I recommend this book to any paranormal lover, as well as anyone who loves romance, action, mystery and suspense all packed into one book.

This collection has 3 of the most fun books to read,

Dick Slip
Nip Slip
Beaver Blunder

Each a very quick read, and each will have you laughing out loud and I even found myself blushing during the slips…

You could I suppose read all of these as stand-alone’s but I would not recommend that because all of the characters intertwine either by family or friendships and you would be missing out on some seriously awesome stories if you don’t read them all.

This author is an absolute favorite of mine and I read anything and everything with her name on it. Although these are funny rom coms, they each have a story to tell and will keep you hooked from start to finish.

Absolutely Loved them all and so glad I have them in a set so when I go back to reread they are all right there for me.

5 out of 5 stars

The story Surviving Valencia by Holly Tierney-Bedord is a book the I loved reading. It is a story that is thrilling, mysterious, and emotional. There are times when reading I was turning pages to find out what happens next. It took me on a journey that was unexpected and had some twists to it that I did not see coming. The Lodens are a family that experienced grief and pain when the twins Van and Valencia suddenly die in a car accident. Their deaths leave their parents devastated and unable to cope with the loss. The loss is also felt by Van and Valencia’s younger sister. She is one of the main characters in this story. She is someone that I could empathize and sympathize with how she felt. She is a woman who has self-doubts about herself. She believes she has found true happiness when she meets Adrian. He is a popular artist. Mysteries about the past start to resurface. Will they destroy her new life? Read this book to find out. This is a story that hooks you in from the very beginning and doesn’t let go until you have read the final page. The dialogue is both interesting and intriguing. There are other secondary characters that you are introduced to and each has their own part to play in the story. I enjoyed reading about them and how they fit into Adrian and the younger sister’s life. My emotions went up and down the entire time that I was reading this book. There are heartbreaking moments. There are times when the disappointment and sadness of the characters can be felt. Van and Valencia’s younger sister is a character that you can relate to and I came to care about. This is a story I would recommend reading.

Ok I have many good and bad thoughts about this story. First off too many bad things happen to Daniela. Like the girl doesn’t get a break from the crazy. Then there is the choice in partners major negative. No matter how much of a good person he is. The author had a few bumps with the flow of the story but it wasn’t terrible. I will say that I liked the message. Life is a big mess and it could tear you down. The key is to never give up and keep pushing forward.

Oh my India, I could have had six more of these!! I read this book in one complete sitting, I refilled my bath over and over till it was done lol. Every single moment was breathtaking. From the emotional and almost spiritual journey we find the characters taking to the wild, steam and erotic bdsm world we venture through with them as well, you are literally drowning in the feelings and words as they drip off the pages, or screens of your kindles. India brings to life with her vibrant storytelling and detailed scenes, Lani and Sam in a way that you will feel as if they were a part of your life all along when you finish the book. I can’t wait to find out what will come next from the ever talented India Kells!

Charlotte started her life as no girl should have being sold into slavery, which ultimately made her so strong. Lottie and Hawk’s story was amazingly sweet, but with life’s little frustrations popping up. To watch these two grow into strong well balanced adults was a pleasure to read. Immortal Desires by Various Authors – Review By Chantelle Smith

Immortal DesiresImmortal Desires by Melanie James
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Immortal Desires is an excellent anthology filled with sexy, thrilling steamy reads that keep you hooked and captivated from the start, each book I read was better than the last, and I loved reading from the array of authors that got involved with amazing read.

One of the books that stood out for me is Flirty Dancing by Jennifer Theriot I really enjoyed this read and each character that was involved in the story, Dee, Bonnie & Linda were bright and supportive for Kitty and just want she needed when she unexpectedly passed over to “The Green Room”. This book has humour, raw emotions and while its sad to think that Kitty was taken from her family and kids to early there was something fun about this read, I liked how she was taught channeling so that she can go back and see her kids and visit with Sam. With this being my first read from this author, I really didn’t know what to expect but after this quick, easy flowing read I will be looking forward to reading more from her.

Another read that I really enjoyed was the Dragon and the vampire by AK Michaels. The characters Ronan and Starr have a great connection that builds over time. This read brought a completely different spin on other vampire reads that I have read and brings in other fantasy characters that you wouldn’t normally put together. I loved their encounters they had with each other, it just built what you could tell would be a brilliant relationship in someway. Both of these character bring extra depth to this story they are relatable and real in the sense of their personality rather than their supernatural abilities. This was a captivating read that gave me a new author to look for. I will be looking to see what more this author has to offer.

This is a great collection of books that should not be missed, it will give you new authors to love and maybe another read buy your already favourite author! Don’t miss it!

The Case of Missing Books (Summer McCloud paranormal mystery, #6) by Nikki Broadwell was a fun, engaging, interesting read that had me hooked.

Not my first read by this author, but my first in this series, so I knew going in that I was in for a pretty solid, fun read. I will say that, don’t be deterred, this book read like a standalone, but I do suggest reading the other book in this series. Which is on my todo list, as I enjoyed this book so much, that I need to know everything about the series.

Interesting, this book will take you on a unique magical ride. Rish with detail and mystery, this book is full of twists turns and drama.. the fun kind. It’s fresh, original and overall and very fun and exciting read. The MC is strong, thoughtful and well rounded, she showed real emotions and realistic life problems, which made it easy to connect. The plot was strong, solid, and engaging. The flow was easy to follow and the overall story was never dull, flat or boring.

Overall this book is worth your time and energy. So please take my super high recommendation and my stamp of approval, that this book will take you on a unique magical ride.

Am I the only one that wants a billionaire stud with a playroom who insists on taking care of all of my problems while tending to my every sexual desire? Anyone? I am not alone? Good. So that’s the fantasy part of this story. But that’s a good thing. The rest of the story is about more trust than ever. Jenny needs to trust Brian even more than in book 2. Oh, and yes you must read the first two books before this one.

I really liked this story, in fact this whole series. Brian and Jenny are put to the test through the accusation of Ty’s death, through fighting the Mafia and even through fighting jealous people.

Mari’s writing style keeps the story flowing. Mixing sexual adventure with the mystery of the Mafia makes for an interesting read. I look forward to what else Mari brings us.

This is a short story that focuses on BDSM and erotica. If this offends you – do not read.

This is a quick and fantastic tale that held my attention from beginning to end. It is right to the point, no unnecessary filler and yet filled with feelings and emotions. The open door sex is extremely detailed and visual. I will admit that I skimmed a bit through it, but if it earmarked if needed in the future 😉

I’ve read this author’s “Sanctuary” series in the past and this is a very different genre. I enjoy her writing and the way she tells a story.

For a short story, THE INHERITANCE is full and satisfying. I absolutely recommend if you enjoy a good, sexy, one handed story.

Immortal Desires A Collection of Paranormal Romance Novels by Various Artists
5 Stars!!!!!

This is just a sweet little collection of paranormal romances. I like the variety of authors and the variety of paranormal subjects. I found that each book complimented one another and just added the right zest to the collection. Each author has their own unique style and I found this collection to be quite refreshing.

My utmost favorite was Flirty Dancing by Jennifer Theriot. This is the fourth book in her Series and I can I just say I wasn’t disappointed. I really like how the book seems to keep the flow of the series. I really felt the emotions that Kitty was going through. When your time is up your time is up but she definitely was gone too soon. I really like how the author ties different prospects of the afterlife and gives the slight comedy twist as well as keeping the romance in it. I really look forward to reading more from this author in the future.

I really enjoyed the rest of the collection but another absolute favorite was For Haven’s Sake by Nicole
Garcia. I love wolf books and I find that each author brings their own unique flavor to them. This book was no exception. I really ‪like how he ends up helping with wild wolves. I like how the author sets up the story with Jax and how he ends up where he does. I found myself really routing for Haven and couldn’t wait for the secrets to come out. I have to say that I was really glued to the pages to see how it would all turn out with Jax’s and Haven. I found Jax’s character to be very brave to follow what he wanted to do and not just bend to the packs rules and take on being the Alpha. There was just a perfect balance of drama entwined with romance. I will definitely be reading more from this author in the future.

Tales of the Dragonfly Book III: Extended Flight is another mind-blowing installment in Tamara Ferguson’s series taking place in Crystal Rock. She has couple of series taking place in this amazing place and they all intersect at some point and I have read every single one of them!
The story of Kiley and Aaron is a story that grabs you from page one and doesn’t let you go… you feel with them, you love with them, you fear with them… We have a crime boss’ daughter who is beautiful, brave and fierce, and then we have Aaron who has just returned from Afghanistan and has all that we women dream a man should have – heart and passion and kindness and…
The writer has a way about her writing, it pulls you in and makes you close your eyes and imagine… her stories bring light and hope into our daily lives and they are like a breath of fresh air… when I feel down and I crave for something that would pick me up and restore my belief in our fellow man, I pick up one of her books. My wish is that she keeps on gracing us with more of Crystal Rock and Dragonfly magic!
