This is my first book by this author, I enjoyed it from beginning to end. This book was well written that has a little bit of everything in it including humor. It has strong characters that keep the strong engaging. They are supportive of each other and they are so creative. The Wicked Witch was my favorite as she just made the story fun, lots of personality and funny throughout. The twists and turns kept me turning pages until the end. An adventure of fantasy that is engaging and page turning. This really was just a fun book to read and I highly recommend it.
I enjoyed this psychological thriller. This is a new author for me and I will be looking for more from her. It is a well developed story that I found to be engaging and read in one sitting. The characters made the story feel real. They are connectable and supportive of each other. There are twists and turns in this story that left me sitting on the edge of my seat just waiting to see what will happen next. Lauren falls through the ice in a stream only to have the person who saved her to lose his life. She has a hard time moving forward from this so she reaches out to his daughter. What happens after that you will have to read and you don’t want to miss what happens next, things may not seem as they really are. I highly recommend reading this book.

My Pretty (Mischief Matchmakers Book 1) by Madeline Fay is an erotic tale loosely adapted from the Wizard of Oz. Madeline has totally turned this tale upside down, inside out and twisted around. I have not cried laughing all the way through like I did for a long time. It is a unique and twisted tale that is absolutely hilarious. I must say I love Madeleine’s crazy and look forward to getting my hands on more of her work.
This novel is very gripping it has a traumatic past which will leave emotional engaged and eager to read on. I found myself lost in the pages escaping reality which at the moment is a blessing and enjoying every chapter of this story, it didn’t surprise me though as I’ve enjoyed every story I have read from Tamera so i knew from the get go i wouldn’t be disappointed!
Rockin’ It Home: a Lawson Family Novel by Tracey Cramer-Kelly
5 Stars
This was an amazing addition to this series. I absolutely love this author’s writing style and was sad when this story ended.
I was so excited to get a hold of this book. I loved Ben, although I don’t normally like any kind of rockstar stories this one was jam packed full of everything I love to read. The storyline was unique and touched on real issues that were handled perfectly.
One thing I love when reading series is being able to still get glimpses into the lives of our previous couples and that happened in this story, also the family aspect, which this one had in spades.
I can not wait to read more from this author, she has quickly risen up to my favorites list
Loved it and although a series this could be read as a stand alone although I would not recommend that because of how great the first 2 were.

Having already read books in the Satan’s Devils MC series I was looking forward to this latest one and was not disappointed. Although it’s part of a series and does mention characters from previous books it also works as a standalone read, for me though I like how Mellett continues the stories of previous characters and gives us an update on them through out her MC series. Devil’s Spawn, focuses on patched in member Lizard ‘Liz’ and his wife and ‘old lady’ Vanna. Sadly Lizard was injured whilst serving as a marine and suffered a brain injury which left him unable to remember Vanna or his son Cal. Now fourteen Cal is playing up and has nightmares remembering when his dad shouted at him that “he’s not my kid”, at her wits end Vanna searches for her husband and finds him as a member of Satan’s Devils. As she has his name tattooed on her back, a sign of her belonging to Liz in the MC world, the rest of the MC step in to help especially as even after ten years Liz has no memory of his family. Another MC member Mace becomes involved with Shayla when she walks into the tattoo shop the Satan’s Devils run wanting a ‘property patch’ removed from her back but in the MC world having a property patch means something, so removing one is unheard off. When the MC look into it and find that she may not have been tattooed willingly and that Major is a danger to Shayla and her child they step into help her. Even though she is scared of MC members Shayla can’t help but feel the chemistry between herself and Mace. This is a fast paced action packed read full of great characters and steamy sex scenes. I was hooked from page one and was instantly immersed in the world of the Satan’s Devils by Mellett’s descriptive writing. I’m now impatiently waiting for the next book in the series.

Devil’s Spawn is the 6th book in the amazing Satan’s Devils MC: Colorado Chapter series by Manda Mellett. The more I read of the Satan’s Devils books, the more I fall in love with Manda Mellett’s writing. I have absolutely adored everyone that I’ve read so far and this time was no different. This book was amazing. I’d give it more than 5 stars if I could. In Devil’s Spawn you even get 2 for the price of 1. You not only get Lizard’s story, you also get Mace’s. Both of these stories will totally grab your heart and not let go of it. Lizard’s is a second chance romance with a difference. I’m not giving any spoilers but you will love it. Mace is a different character altogether. At the start of the previous book Ink’s Devil I really did not like Mace but he redeemed himself later in the book. In this book we see a totally different side to Mace and I just loved him. As always with the Satan’s Devils book you get a great romance story and hot and steamy sex. But added to this there is always a powerful storyline running through the book filled with danger, despair, heartbreak and every other emotion you can think of. I really cannot get across in words just how much I loved this book. Yet again Manda Mellett has given us another cracker that I’ll enjoy reading again. 100% recommend!

Lisa’s life begins tragically when her father takes her from her mother simply because she was a girl. Surrounded by her adoptive parents and siblings, uncle Jasper, and best friend Markus, Lisa has been supported and loved by those that her around her. However, lately she has been having wild dreams that come every night. Telling Markus about these dreams sets into motion the revealing of her true family lineage which will change her world as she knows it. Lisa finds herself questioning everything she has known and wondering if the future is something she can handle. The story that KM Lowe has written puts the reader in a world filled with magic and things that Lisa believed only existed in the books she read.
I stayed up way past my bedtime to read this book because I did not want to put it down. I wanted to know what happened and how things were going to play out. Not only was Lisa and Markus’ story entertaining to read, it was also filled with real emotion and struggle that you can feel pouring off the pages. Lisa is a strong and resilient teenager that shows just how sassy and tough she can be when facing her new truths head on. Markus is a supportive best friend and soul mate that helps guide her through a world she knew nothing about only a couple of months prior. The supporting characters were also wonderful, and I am excited to read their books in the future. This is the first book that I have read by this author…but it won’t be the last.

A lovely heartwarming sweet romance by Tamara Ferguson, “Vocalist Marielle McKinnon and composer Drew Kendall find love one magical summer after a Kiss Beneath A Strawberry Moon” Set in Dragonfly Pointe, the future for Marielle and Drew is full of promise having met and fallen in love over the summer however their plans change when Drew has to drop out of college due to family problems and decides to enlist. Sadly Drew gets injured whilst on active duty and not wanting to be a burden on Marielle refuses to contact her which leaves Marielle thinking he has forgotten about her, will their love survive? No spoilers, but the book does have a happy ending as Tamara’s books tend to have. I loved this story and fell in love with the main characters and found the problems they had to face were very realistic. The author always fills her books full of details which makes you feel like your there with the characters. I could not put this book down and found it was a lovely romantic read.

My Pretty (Mischief Matchmakers Book 1) By Madeline Fay 5 out of 5 stars
The story My Pretty (Mischief Matchmakers Book 1) by Madeline Fay is a fantasy/romance book. It is a story that had me smiling, laughing, and intrigued the whole time I was reading it. The main character is a witch who everyone believes to be wicked and bad, however wanting to have a normal life. She is independent and doesn’t care about what others think of her. Three handsome men have dropped into her world and they are promised to be sent back home if they get rid of the Wicked Witch of the East. Will they be successful? Read this book to find out. This is a story that takes a journey into a world that many are familiar with. There are some characters that are familiar and others who are introduced. The book also has romantic moments that will make the temperature in the room rise. The author does a wonderful job of writing and I felt like I was right there with the characters. Don’t miss out on a story that will have you hooked until the final page. I would recommend reading it.

The story DIE FOR ME by Diane Hester is a thrilling psychological suspense book that I enjoyed reading. It pulled me in from the very beginning and didn’t let me go until the final page. It had me on the edge of my seat, turning pages wondering what was going to happen next. I enjoyed reading about the character of Lauren Donnelly. She is strong, independent, owns her own nursery, and whose life was saved by a stranger. She also feels guilty that she survived, and the stranger didn’t. This leads her to reach out to Ada Phelps, the survivor’s daughter. How far will Lauren take in repaying the debt of life? Is Ada all she appears to be? Read this book to find out. The story is wonderfully written, and I found myself feeling like I was right there in the story with the characters. I found my mind working overtime to try to uncover the motivations of those around Lauren. I enjoyed reading about the additional characters, many that are friends and work with Lauren at her nursery. I grew to care about Lauren and wanted her to succeed in all that she does. This book also does have a bit of romance. There are twists and turns that I didn’t see coming. I love suspense novels and this one is a good example of why. Highly recommended reading.

This story just keeps getting better with each book, Mountains Loved is the 3rd book in the Mountains Series by Phoebe Alexander. This is a continuation of James and Sarah’s story that will like the others keep you on an emotional roller coaster. I wouldn’t read this as a standalone and recommend reading the other 2 first. The author has a way of bringing this story to life where you feel like you are there witnessing it all at least that’s how I felt. These two still have mountains to overcome but will they be able to or will this be the end of their relationship?

I give Blood Rebellion (Supernatural Intelligence Agency Book 1) by Nadine Travers, 4 stars.
I enjoyed this book and cannot wait to read more of the series. This is very good Urban Fantasy with some hot scenes thrown in to keep it even more interesting. The characters are good, they are believable and not all cookie cutter replications of each other. I enjoyed Casey as she learns more and more about they way things really are. It shows she can grow and adapt, which makes for a good main character. The story itself pulls you in and leaves you wanting more. The only downside for me is that considering this is a first book in a series, I felt a little thrown into the middle of something. It is mentioned a few times about things that have gone on previously and I felt a bit like I missed something.
That being said, this is still a very good venture into urban fantasy and if you are a fan of strong but real female main characters in an urban fantasy setting, I recommend this book.

All I ever wanted was to have normal witchy life but Dorothy ruined it all for me.
She turned my people against me, saying I was an wicked, evil witch. I mean if that’s what the people think, then fine that’s what they’ll get. I ride around on my broom, terrorizing the citizens and stealing candy from children.
Three handsome men drop into our world from a tornado that sweeps through the village and of course I’m somehow to blame. I didn’t cause this destruction… and definitely didn’t bring a strip club along for the ride.
Dorothy sends them after me and promises a way for them to get back home as long as they get rid of the Wicked Witch of the East.
Disguising myself as a damsel in distress with my green face hiding, I lead them along the yellow brick road to Emerald city.
Madeline lives in rural Michigan in a castle with all her fur babies and husband. She loves to read, you’ll find her in her tower with her kindle and cup of tea. She has a few addictions, chocolate is her weakness and anything seventies related. She’s a hippy at heart. She has an evil day job, but at night she watches over her city in the shadows and calls herself batman. Not really but she keeps hoping it might come true one day. She’s in her bat cave writing and plotting mad, evil genius, stories while sipping some wine.

This is such a great series! The box set is a perfect way to get your James and Sarah fix! I am listing my reviews for each book in the series and I hope you will grab this set and fall in love with these characters as much as I have!
Book 1 – Mountains Wanted
How do I start? Can I just say I seriously would love to throat punch Phoebe Alexander right now??? LOL! I won’t tell you much about the book because you can read the blurb and find out what it’s about. What I will tell you is how it made me feel. This book absolutely crushed me emotionally! I kept having to put the book down the closer I got to the end because I was crying so hard I couldn’t see the pages anymore!
When I started this book I thought it was really good…hot, steamy, sexy…everything I love in a good romance. I loved learning about Sarah and really connected with her and her views on relationships throughout this book. The way she handles her children and their questions was so impressive. I was totally invested in them early on. So I’m reading and getting somewhat frustrated with her and her choices as the story proceeds. Well…by the time I was about three quarters of the way through, I was done for! Sarah’s emotions hit me so hard! I was torn up from that point to the very last page! Then I cried for about an hour after I finished!
This book was so good and I honestly can’t recommend it enough! And while it does end, it is somewhat of a cliff hanger that will have you screaming for the next book in the series! You will fall in love with all of the characters in this story. Smile, cheer, and laugh with them. Sob, hurt, and ugly cry with them. Well done Ms. Alexander! 5 stars and then some!
Book 2 – Mountains Climbed
Once again, Ms. Alexander has me by the heart strings! This is the second book in the Mountains Series and I am absolutely hooked! Sarah is one exceptional lady in my opinion! She is so open and loving and accepting. Everything I try to be but probably fall way short the majority of the time. I love how she deals with her children in an open and honest manor. Something I once again try to do but don’t always succeed at.
In this second book, James has been deployed, leaving Maggie at home, and Sarah has met someone else and is trying her best to move on and heal her broken heart. They can’t seem to forget one another though, no matter how hard they try. As in my review of Mountains Wanted, the first book in this series, I can’t tell you much about what happens in this story. You truly need to read it to experience the full range of emotions these stories take you through.
This series is emotional, touching, heartbreaking, and heartwarming. You can’t help but fall in love with these characters and their stories. Well, except for Maggie maybe. She’s a bit too closed minded and judgmental for me! LOL! I can’t wait to read the next book in James and Sarah’s story! This author truly knows how to take you along on a journey!
Book 3 – Mountains Loved
This is the third book in the Mountains series and I highly recommend reading them in order. This is a continuation of James and Sarah’s story and you won’t want to miss a thing! Once again, Ms. Alexander takes you on an emotional rollercoaster that you won’t soon forget. This is a thought provoking journey with wonderfully written characters and scenes. My heart is still feeling it, even after finishing the book!
I have honestly grown to love Sarah and her family and friends. So this story had me feeling a bit disconnected from Sarah on several occasions. I guess I have gotten so involved with their lives that I was truly angry at her for some of her decisions in this one! She shows a vulnerability that I didn’t expect and it upset me at times! Just like her family and friends, I guess I saw her as Superwoman and wanted her to always be that strong woman who never second guessed herself. We truly see how human she is in this story. James will have you frustrated beyond belief throughout this one! I was at a point where I really wanted to kick him to the curb!
I don’t want to say much more because I don’t want to give you and spoilers. Just know that you won’t regret reading this series if you like a great story that will open your mind and leave you with all the feels!

Moonlit Mirage: A Cook Islands Romance (Moonlit Destination Series) by Amy McKinley – Review by Gail Guerrero
Five Stars
It always amazes me how authors are about to grab your attention with a well placed word. Or a line in a story that just grabs. Or a character so well written you have no choice but to follow and listen. This author has become a favorite. This story is short, sweet and to the point. You don’t get the full effect just because it’s a novella. You still get the right amount to love the story. Cade and Nadia are fire on the page together. I felt like I was right there feeling the tense and frustration. You experience so much in these few pages. I felt like it was the cherry on top to a get story. We did have some mention of some Grey Ghost characters if you don’t know that series you’re truly missing out.
Mountains Series Boxed Set:(Books 1-3) By Phoebe Alexander – Review by Gail Guerrero
Five Stars
You can not deny that Phoebe Alexander can write a very compelling story. I story that drags you into lifestyles you hadn’t wanted to know about. You can go kicking and screaming but you enjoy every moment of it. I truly didn’t feel like I wouldn’t enjoy these stories seem because it’s not a life I would lead. But the way the author details these stories has you looking at it in a new way. You’re taken on a journey to find love but also yourself. You learn to accept and appreciate people for who they are. I feel like the author was telling you to not judge what you do not know or understand. I have read many books by this author and haven’t been disappointed. I recommend you give this trilogy a chance. The characters grow on you and you end up rooting for their perfect HEA. The journey to that HEA is a long and hard road and you need to know if they make it. The characters are well written and have that perfect about of depth, perfection and flaws that any good character should have. The emotions almost feel tangible.

2 A.M. Secrets by M. Piper was a great story! It held all the steam and romance one novel could possibly hold. I loved watching Sadie’s and Archer’s romance unfold and blossom. I couldn’t put this book down. It was very entertaining had some scenes that could get very emotional. This is the first novel I’ve read before by M. Piper and I loved it! I highly recommend this 18+ romance.

Moonlit Mirage: A Cook Islands Romance (Moonlit Destination Series) by Amy McKinley started off action packed. I was a little confused going in but quickly adapted. I enjoyed the amount of detail in such a short story. The pacing was well done and I loved Cade and Nadia. The suspense and romance was a great blend.
2am Secrets was a great 5 star steamy read. I was pulled in right from the beginning.
We start with Sadie trying to find her keys, once again and risking being late for work on a big tip night, New Years Eve. Archer offers to take her but she knows that wouldn’t be a good idea. Archer is her brother’s best friend and someone she needs to stay away from. The last few times these two were around each other sparks have been flying. Sadie made an agreement with her brother to but it’s getting harder and harder to resist.
When Archer and her brother show up at the bar things get very interesting. Archer is pushing the limits when her brother isn’t around, it’s thrilling and hot but dangerous as well. When Archer agrees to stay and make sure she gets home ok, he makes his move and gets her to agree to come to his hotel room. And let’s just say it was a heck of a steamy scene. Let’s just say things get even steamier and more interesting from here.
Archer wants more with Sadie, can Archer convince her? What will happen if her brother discovers their secret?
I really liked both Sadie and Archer. Archer is hot, dominant, romantic and caring. Sadie was just as feisty in bed and I loved her strength and caring side. All of the secondary characters were great. Grandma was my favorite. I would love to see more from some of the other characters. I look forward to Sam’s story. Mountains Series Boxed Set:(Books 1-3) By Phoebe Alexander
5-Stars
Mountains Series Boxed Set:(Books 1-3) By Phoebe Alexander is an amazing collection of the first three books following James and Sarah. They are two amazing main characters that are developed well and have character growth in each book. It was fun watching their romance build as well as their trust. I learned a lot about another lifestyle reading these novels. It is great that they are grouped together. Readers can easily move from one story to the next. Heads up though these are for 18+ readers and there are a lot of steamy scenes. I absolutely loved them.

Mountains Loved (Mountains Series #3) By Phoebe Alexander
5-Stars
Mountains Loved (Mountains Series #3) By Phoebe Alexander was a steamy, romantic, and fun read. This novel continues to follow James and Sarah and cannot be read as a standalone. I love how much their characters have changed through out this series. This is my new favorite of the series. I lived following them through the ups and down of this third book. It is written well and organized. I could not put this book down. The setting of each scene is descriptive and easy to visualize, including the steamy scenes. I had no problems picturing myself in the story. I highly recommend this book as well as the series. It is an excellent read!

Moonlit Mirage: A Cook Islands Romance is part of the Moonlit Destination Series by Amy McKinley. So much is packed into this novella, there are elements of romance, suspense, and thrill. I was sucked in from the very beginning and couldn’t put it down until it was finished. The two main characters, Nadia Bennett and Cade Malone share an interesting bond. Unfortunately, there is something from Nadia’s past that could ruin their relationship. I look forward to reading other stories in this series.
Mountains Loved (Mountains Series #3) by Phoebe Alexander. This book is the final chapter in Sarah and James’ story. Like all of the other books, this one also had all of the feels….. You will experience it all, happiness, sadness, heartache and love……. Just like the characters did, Ms. Alexander also worked my nerves throughout this series and book…. I wanted to jump into the book and throttle James at times. This series definitely has to be read in order!!! I hope you dive in and read this entire series.
