Devil’s Spawn (Satan’s Devils MC Colorado Chapter #6) by Manda Mellett – Review by Jennifer Gordon

Devil's Spawn (Satan's Devils MC Colorado Chapter #6)Devil’s Spawn by Manda Mellett
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Having already read books in the Satan’s Devils MC series I was looking forward to this latest one and was not disappointed. Although it’s part of a series and does mention characters from previous books it also works as a standalone read, for me though I like how Mellett continues the stories of previous characters and gives us an update on them through out her MC series.
Devil’s Spawn, focuses on patched in member Lizard ‘Liz’ and his wife and ‘old lady’ Vanna. Sadly Lizard was injured whilst serving as a marine and suffered a brain injury which left him unable to remember Vanna or his son Cal. Now fourteen Cal is playing up and has nightmares remembering when his dad shouted at him that “he’s not my kid”, at her wits end Vanna searches for her husband and finds him as a member of Satan’s Devils. As she has his name tattooed on her back, a sign of her belonging to Liz in the MC world, the rest of the MC step in to help especially as even after ten years Liz has no memory of his family.
Another MC member Mace becomes involved with Shayla when she walks into the tattoo shop the Satan’s Devils run wanting a ‘property patch’ removed from her back but in the MC world having a property patch means something, so removing one is unheard off. When the MC look into it and find that she may not have been tattooed willingly and that Major is a danger to Shayla and her child they step into help her. Even though she is scared of MC members Shayla can’t help but feel the chemistry between herself and Mace.
This is a fast paced action packed read full of great characters and steamy sex scenes. I was hooked from page one and was instantly immersed in the world of the Satan’s Devils by Mellett’s descriptive writing. I’m now impatiently waiting for the next book in the series.
