Kingdom of the Oceans, Relic Hunters Book 6, the final installment by Martin Furgusen was an absolutely incredible book. I have been with this series since around 2018, and I’ve said this before and I’ll say it again, Martin you have truly outdone yourself. I have loved every single one of the Relic Hunters installments, and this one just takes the cake. Everything wrapped up in a perfect bow, with the possibility of more, and I really really really hope there is more someday! I recommend this series in its entirety, all 6 books are incredible action adventures that build up to this beautiful ending. I do recommend reading them all in order, however I would be careful, because once you start you won’t want to put Martin’s work down until you’ve finished the 6th book! Thank you Martin for a truly incredible experience!

I am hoping this book becomes the start of a new series!

This series has done a great job keeping me hooked. This book went by too fast while at the same time not fast enough. I had to know who the killer was.
Sadie and Noah reconnect and that seems to be the last good thing to happen to them. I want to expand on this but I can’t really without spoiling the book and that is the absolute last thing I want to do.
I was quite surprised by everything from the second chapter on and I loved it. I always try and figure out how things are going go and this one kept me guessing until the reveal.

Cutter is Book 1 in the Devils’ Spawn Daddies series, bringing me into a different world of DDLG, and this is truly my first DDLG story I have ever read. Danger, intrigue, BDSM, sexy chemistry with angst this story really kept me wanting to turn the pages and want more. I am no stranger to this author and the story really caught my attention….
Cutter and Emily are drawn to each other in so many ways. Cutter is part of the Devils’ Spawn MC while Emily is a rookie detective trying to find her way up the ladder and gain some respect. Emily’s plan is to gain Cutters trust and reaches out to help her take down some new local MC that is just plain bad news…knowing that Cutter is always a “protector”. In the midst of everything, Cutter cannot get Emily out of his head and brings out the Daddy Dominant in him and he wants Emily in more ways than one.
Will Cutter and Emily be able to get what they both want in the end between down a very bad MC while also exploring more in the DDLG world….definitely read and find out if you are as intrigued as I was…..
Victoria Sanccenti is a first time author for me so I didn’t know what to expect from Cutter. I was pleasantly surprised by the fluidity of the story. Everything flowed really well together and the story didn’t feel slow or repetitive. I was a little taken aback with the whole Daddy Dominant/Little (Middle) Girl dynamic as I’ve never read anything dealing with it. The steamy scenes between Emily’s Middle and Cutter’s Daddy had me feeling a bit unpleasant, but the other spicy scenes were okay. I felt the author did a pretty good job explaining some of the dynamic between the two characters. I felt there was a lot more of the relationship in the story and not as much of the MC side that I was expecting. But, there was still drama, twists and turns, danger, and romance. While the spicy dynamic wasn’t quite my thing, the story was well-written with great world building and amazing characters. I would definitely read more by Victoria Sanccenti.

Daaaaang, what a spicy cupcake. Victoria Saccenti has such an amazing way of building suspense, and her stories pull you in so deep you finish it thinking wait it the end already I just started. Dual perspectives Cutter and Emily. Emily Mayhew is a junior detective in a small Georgia town. As a female the two older male detectives don’t have confidence in her or see her as equal to them. When a case that could earn her, some well-deserved respect presents itself to her she jumps on it, taking it as her baby to see to the end. Cutter is the sergeant at arms in the Devils’ Spawn MC, once known as a one-percenter MC their president Blade is done with that reputation and wants to rejoin the AMA (American Motorcycle Association). At the request of Detective Mayhew, Cutter is taken to the station to have a conversation with her. Instantly the memories of four years early flood them both and their deepest desires right in front of them. Both have been living rent free in the others’ dreams over the past four years and neither is willing to miss the chance of having more when presented before them. The only thing standing in their way, the Sons of Chaos, and their ties to the Oquendo cartel. Chaos will ruin the small town they have moved into, and the cartel is known for three things the running of drugs, guns, and humans. Determined to take them down before everyone suffers the fallout, Emily recruits Cutter to infiltrate Chaos for information. Quickly their intimate relationship finally comes true, but Emily has a stubborn streak and a desire to prove herself no matter the risk to herself if she gets what she wants. Push him too hard he will run but when he doesn’t, she gets conniving and reckless. These characters are both flawed, broken and hungry for the love of the other. The author’s talent in making such complex, infuriating, and caring characters was an amazing joy to read and honestly, I went from aww, to growling at times because of frustration with what was happening. My eyes will certainly be peeled for the next installment in this incredibly spicy and intriguing new series. Fingers crossed for Barron and Yoanni’s story next.
4/5 Stars As a Christian myself, I love that this is a Christ centered book for children. I do think the language used is for older kids. It’s well written and it ministers.

A fun cozy murder mystery with great characters and added bonus cat characters who are the shop owners pets. This is the second book in the Bookshop Kitties Mysteries series. Christy and family are celebrating Aunt Betty’s small intimate wedding, when some of the guests spot a man who shouldn’t be there. The next day the same man, who happens to be Christy’s best friend Janie’s ex-husband, is found dead in Janie’s pastry shop. Christy will help Janie prove she is innocent. The characters in the story are well written and relatable. I think any good friend would help someone prove their innocence just like Christy is doing. The cats are adorable and also join in to help! I hope you love the book as much as I did!

Interesting story. The writing is done well. I like the fact that it’s done around a polycule and focuses on just being you. A lot of people just don’t get that point. Cray Saves the Day (The Adventures of Cray Series) by G Pa Rhymes. This is another great installment in the Cray on the Bay series. These books are so fun and always teach a valuable lesson. In this story Cray and his friends are upset because when its pretty outside and all the visitors come to the Bay they leave behind all their trash and it makes a mess. We also get to meet Queen Mer May the Mermaid who along with Hay, Fay and Ray decide to set the example and clean up the beach on their own. Hoping that when others see them doing this they will stop leaving messes. My 5 year old nephew loves this series and the fun rapping rhymes make him giggle every time. Such a fun series and they would make great gifts and teacher books for classrooms! Such a fun kids read!

The Curse of Jean Lafitte (The Big Easy Collection) by Mary Walsh. I really enjoyed this book and it made me feel as if I was actually in New Orleans. This is a wonderful fantasy, adventure read and it will keep you turning pages late in the night. It begins with a pastry chef losing her job due to a horrible mistake. She is then thrown into a crazy adventure that includes Jean Lafitte and the fun begins. There are myths, mysteries, suspense and treasures. They must unveil a curse to find the missing jewel and all with help from friends both earthly and ghostly. I really enjoyed this story because as I said I truly felt like I was in New Orleans and I loved all the sights, sounds and even could smells some of the smells. Such a fun read and I can’t wait to read another wonderful story by this author.

Super cute book that would make a great bedtime story! I am a huge fan of this author and recommend her books to be on every library shelf, whether public or private!
Deceptively yours is a second chance romance novel it was steamy, full of drama and angst, danger, action, and the chemistry between the characters was on fire. It was fast paced and I didn’t want to stop reading. You might want to check trigger warnings though but I don’t really have any sensitivities so I didn’t have any issues reading. I’m glad that after Harper ended their relationship that they had another chance because they were good together. It did have the happy ending that they deserved.

I have followed a couple of Cray’s adventures with my seven year old daughter. This one was particularly fun because she read it by herself. The writing flowed with just enough challenging words that she was able to sound them out without getting frustrated and wanting to give up altogether. There is a great moral to the story as we explore the importance of keeping our “home” clean. Her favorite part was Farmer Jay. Immediately following this book she asked to read another!

Fade into the night, is part of the Philly Heat series by Becky Flade. I have read a couple of books in this series but they can be read as a stand alone. This book is a romantic thriller following FBI agent Noah as he searches for a serial killer called the Beltway Romeo, who is targeting single women before mutilating them before staging their bodies. When his professional life overlaps into his personal life, his friend Sadie is targeted by the killer and finds herself being hurt and at risk. This is a really enjoyable thriller, the story is fast paced and I love how Sadie didn’t just sit back and become a victim of her circumstances. I would recommend this to lovers of this genre and will definitely be going back and reading the books I have missed in this series.

These characters were easy to become engrossed in. There is some miscommunication, inability to express feelings, humor and angst. There are times that I wanted to smack them and tell them to figure it out! But, the story is enjoyable and it kept me engaged.

Kingdom of the Oceans is the sixth book in the Relic Hunters Series. This is a YA adventure that will have you turning the pages till the end. I highly recommend reading the previous book before diving into this one as it picks up right where it left off. Plus there are some important points details to help make this make sense. I’d suggest reading this series in order as well as it will help you get to know the characters better what’s been going on. Get ready for quite the adventure as Matt and Adam as they continue to chase after the mystical lost kingdom of Atlantis. The twists and turns had me on the edge of my seat trying to figure out what was going to happen next. I highly recommend reading this book to see what happens next. I’m looking forward to reading more from this Author.

Nessie and the Viking Gold (Nessie’s Grotto) is the 2nd in a series about siblings Craig and Linda and their adventures with Nessie. This one focuses more on Linda, as Craig is growing up and seems to be trying to fit into a more mature world. Their family are back at Loch Ness and the 2 are of course on the water looking for Nessie almost immediately, this time with a new friend.
As always, a great read for younger kiddos as is anything by this author! I always have fun reading this one to my girls and they love it as well.

Such a great book for kids to help them understand that accidents do happen and that it’s okay if they do but it’s better if we don’t lie about them. The story is easy for Little’s to follow along and I think some will connect with Grey. It’s a good reminder for them that their friends (or family) will forgive them in these situations. Like all the other stories, Erica Leigh did a great job illustrating.

An enjoyable and entertaining romantic comedy which took me on a winter getaway and kept me happily turning the pages. Giuliana Giovanni was meant to be having a fun filled vacation jetting off to Turks and Caicos with her best friend, but her friend is delayed at the last moment. However, when she meets the blue eyes of a handsome stranger in the row behind her she’s shocked by the attraction she feels. When they both turn up at the same resort, Giuliana’s plans for a relaxing holiday now change to involve lots of steamy glances and playful banter with Landon Parker. Landon had flown to the Caribbean for business but having met Giuliana his plans also change, and now he’s there for pleasure. However, Landon has secrets which he’s worried he might just tell her but then she might not want to continue their vacation flirtation. They both know that holiday romances don’t last, but they both wonder if maybe theirs could! This was such a fun, lighthearted story which had me hooked throughout. Giuliana is such a likeable and relatable young women and I loved the instant connection she had with Landon, and their chemistry sizzled off the page and led to some steamy scenes. The wonderful Caribbean setting came to life through the descriptive narrative and the vacation vibes definitely came across in the writing. There were some laugh out loud moments along with the heartwarming developing romance between the main characters.

I would recommend this book to young readers around the elementary age. I think the illustrations are great at showing her anxiousness before the story and the outcome after. I really like the positive thinking this book brings; I also think this helps parents realize that even our young age children feel pressure to succeed in school. Overall, I think it’s great the book reminds readers it’s okay to relax and try again.

This is the first book in the Titans of Chicago series. It is a dark second chance romance which deals with several subjects that could be triggering such as abusenand grief. I couldn’t help but be completely captivated with this story and I couldn’t put it down. My heart broke for our main characters Gabriel and Harper and I will be honest at times I did wonder if all the trauma and angst between them was going to be worth trying to reach their happy ever after. Harper and Gabriel were young sweethearts. Soul mates who planned on spending the rest of their lives together. Nothing could tear them apart or so they thought. When Harper gets the news of her parents death and then is taken away by her uncle they still hoped their love would survive. However circumstances around Harper means that in her mind to protect him from the truth she ends their relationship.
Fast forward and Harper has moved on with her life but she has never forgotten her first love. And when she gets news of Gabriel’s parents passing she wants to reach out but will she be welcome?
When Gabriel sees Harper again all the old anger, resentment and hurt crashes to the surface again. And even though he can’t deny the chemistry between them how can he ever trust her again? With the added danger that is lurking in the background will this be the thing to bring them back together or will it push them further apart at the risk to their safety? I really enjoyed this book and even though at times I felt like shaking Gabriel for the way he treated Harper I kept having to remind myself that he doesn’t know the truth of it what she went through. This story is gripping and I couldn’t put it down until I found out if they made it and got their happy ever after or not

It’s a wedding! It’s a murder! What more could you want out of a children’s book? This is such a cute little mystery book. The Bookshop Kitties Mystery series is a new favorite for sure. A good who dunnit.

Murder Off Route 82 by Jane Suen Narrated by Tiffany Williams This was the perfect listen for my four hour drive. I loved the story and how it kept me guessing what happened right until the end. Eve Sawyer was an unusual character and I’m definitely going back and listening to the rest of the series she is featured in. This was the first book narrated by Tiffany Williams that I have listened to – I love her voice and how she brought the characters to life. I’m looking forward to more books narrated by her in the future.
