Happily Ever After? by Gaia B Amman is the 6th book in this series. It continues to follow Leda in her stroll through life. She is an adult in this novel and, just like in previous books in this series, she continues to be my favorite character. She changes so much as the story progresses and I love the affect she has on Sergio. I also love how he affects her. He is her love interest and the dialogue between the two becomes addictive. I really enjoyed this wonderful novel. It was full of love, adventure, and growth.

This is the second book I have read by this author and it was another entertaining tale. Gaia creates characters that are easy to identify with and that makes the reader want to follow their journey. Happily Ever After finds lead character Leda at University following her dream of becoming a scientist. She finds herself attracted to Sergio, a self-confessed pothead and a free spirit who is her complete opposite. The story follows the ups and downs of what she initially calls her “relationshit”. Loved this description, I’m sure we have all been in at least one of them in our time. I found myself both liking and loathing Sergio at different times of the book. I think that’s the sign of a good writer, you go on a journey with the characters and never know exactly where you stand with them. I’d recommend this book to those who like family sagas and coming of age stories. A good read.

“Happily. Ever After?” is the sixth book in the Italian Saga by GB Amman. Leda is an intelligent young woman with high academic aspirations. She tries so hard to juggle her interests in life, volleyball, friends, her band, schoolwork and Sergio. As with any driven student, school is her priority and Sergio just doesn’t understand. They love each other, but is it enough? Leda seems to question her relationship with Sergio every step of the way, and my heart ached for the poor girl. She goes through so much in this book, with so many changes and issues that pop up, it’s a wonder how she keeps it all together! I don’t want to give away details, but this book was beautiful in its description of the places Leda goes, but hard to read with what she goes through. However, Leda is resilient and tougher than she seems to some and she proves it in this book! Relationships are messy and “Happily. Ever After?” shows that. Happily. Ever After?: An Italian Relationship. (The Italian Saga Book 6) By Gaia B. Amman. This story can be read as a stand-alone without any confusion. While the story can be slow it parts it makes up for that in adventure and an emotional journey of the characters. From page one you are drawn into the journey of Leda and Sergio. They are well thought out characters you can connect with. The story is a wonderful adventure of what a relationship can take. It’s well written and the attention to details is fantastic. I’m giving this story a four star review and recommend it.

Linked: Can Empathy Save the United Terrestrial Democracy? by Gaia B. Amman was an hooking, engaging, detailed driven read that me hooked from start to finish.
Not my first read from this author, so I knew going in I was in for something interesting, unique and well written. I was not disappointed. This book wasn’t like anything I have read before, and frankly I’m a little wordless in regards of what to write, to structured this review.
My head is all messy, and my heart a little crushed, yet full. This book was written in gray. There was no clear good or evil, making this sci-fi fantasy have an alarming realistic quality, it reflected how the world actually works, making is otherworldly read, relatable and connecting. The attention to detail was outstanding, and you can feel the passion that Gaia brings in mixing her bio background with her fresh original writing abilities. All of this is brought to life by well crafted multi layered characters, and an equally complex and engrossing plot.
This book is high quality and worth your time, energy, and money. So please take my super high recommendation and my stamp of approval, that you will get lost and absorbed in this gem of a read.

This is a sci-fi romance with a twist of politics story that was enjoyable. This book is a little different then my normal read. I found it to be creative and engaging. The characters are well thought out, interactive and real. They bring the story to life along with their superhero roles and their twists and turns kept me turning pages. They bring emotions of hate, love and even some understanding to a world of fantasy. What happens when you fall for the enemy? I recommend this book.

When I started reading this story, I found both the title and the description a bit mysterious. What I found is a science fiction book that is interesting and intriguing. I found myself not able to put it down once I began. I also started asking myself if I would make the same choices as the characters. It includes issues that are thought-provoking. It was enjoyable to read and I found myself glued to the pages until I had read the final one. I enjoyed reading about Naira. She is a character that is passionate about what she believes. I found that she is a complex character who has inner conflict. She is also stubborn. There are many other characters that you read about and interact with Naira. There is sarcasm as well as bantering back and forth between them. There were actions taken by some that made me angry and others that had me mystified. Many of the additional characters also have an inner conflict just as Naira does. The story also has times when there is romance. There is intense dialogue included. Don’t miss out on a wonderfully written story that I found entertaining. I would recommend reading it.

Happily Ever After?: An Italian Relationship is book six in the Italian Saga series by Gaia B. Amman. I read the first book in this series, but have skipped to the sixth one. Oh well, it states that it is a self standing book, so here goes. Slowly paced, this story was a great read, and ticked all the boxes for a quality, easy to read story.
Leda and Sergio like each other. Leda and sergio kissed. Leda and Sergio gives readers an entertaining, honest and full of ups and downs. A very realistic look at young love and all the problems young couples face and how they deal with the drama. These characters were easy to like, easy to relate to, easy to enjoy. Laughter, attraction, love is all set out, pretty and sweet, in the beautiful Italy, where romance is plentiful, and drama is endless. 4 stars.

This relatable tale about relationships and life and love held my interest from page one. Overall I found this installment in the series to be well developed, relatable, witty, and emotional. Amman builds a beautiful world with characters I related to and became deeply invested in. It stands on its own easily and remains a valuable addition to the series. Really enjoyed it.

Happily. Ever After? is the sixth book in Gaia B Amman’s Italian Saga. Leda, the independent and adventurous heroine we’ve watched growing up over the past five books, is now in her early twenties. She’s had her heart broken and broken hearts. She’s struggled with mental illness. And coming through it all, she’s now focused on her course and her hobbies. But she can’t ignore her feelings for Sergio, and his demands on her attention. Leda is great! The books are written from her perspective and Amman does a great job of getting inside her head. She is both mature and naïve, the paradox of young adulthood, and this comes across in her interpretation of situations. She’s clever, and I found myself learning a thing or two about biomedical sciences (Amman’s background really comes through here – I enjoyed the level of detail!). I like the varied LGBT+ representation, particularly with bisexual and polyamorous characters. There’s generally a great cast of characters, building up throughout the books, and it’s good to have some diversity there! The pace sometimes felt a bit odd – chunks of time would fly past and yet we get incredible amounts of detail about things which aren’t necessarily central to the plot – but it sort of feels like we’re focusing on the things that are important to Leda. We have to appreciate what her priorities and occupations are! This is a five star book. A great insight into Italian life (as a teacher, I particularly enjoyed learning about the education system…) and wonderful to see Leda maturing. If you like coming of age stories spread out over a number of years, such as the Adrian Mole books, you’ll enjoy this series!

Happily. Ever After?: An Italian Relationship is the sixth book in Gaia B. Amman’s Italian Saga, that is a wonderfully wholesome read. The series continues to follow Leda as she slowly grows up, with each book focusing on certain parts and aspects of Leda’s life; all set against the gorgeous back drop of Italy. Happily. Ever After?: An Italian Relationship is set in the scenic Milan, with Leda falling hopelessly in love with Sergio, a stoner that flits in and out of Leda’s life, without explanation. Leda and Sergio’s relationship is a heart-warming, realistic love story, that was incredibly relatable and genuine. Both characters are incredibly complex and life like, that will have you falling in love with them despite their flaws. I really enjoyed the sixth book in the series, and found it to be a wonderful edition to Leda’s life story. Gaia B. Amman’s writing gets better every book, and her characters get more and more complex. I highly recommend the series, and gave this book 5/5 stars!

Happily. Ever After?: An Italian Relationship by Gaia B Amman is the sixth book in The Italian Saga series. Leda’s story continues in this book. This time she is in a relationship with Sergio. The two are opposites. He wants Leda to himself and she is smart and sees a great future for herself. This is a great story about relationships and finding confidence and strength in your voice. I have read one other book in the series and at times I was missing information but overall can be read as a standalone book. The read is quick and very descriptive. I really enjoyed and look forward to catching more by Gaia Amman.

Happily. Ever After? Is the sixth book in The Italian Saga Series by Gaia B. Amman. The story, although slow and lagging in some parts, turned out to be quite a good read. At the core is a look at what it takes to make a relationship work- it’s about human nature, attraction, how sometimes in the pursuit of love we may overlook things, and complexities- but there is also a fun adventure side to the story with vivid images of Italy, riding a scooter, banter between friends, research/scientific studies, humorous exchanges and scenes…. and much more. The whole book, from storyline, scene setting, and well-rounded characters was entirely believable and relatable. A great addition to the rest of the series!

This is the second book I have read by this author, I enjoyed it just as much as the first. This book will show you that opposites attract could be a true statement. Leda is a woman who has plans for the future and Sergio will do what he has to make sure she is his, all his. Their story is an emotional roller coaster with lots of ups and downs but it kept me engaged until the end. Their relationship is love but also conflict. Great chemistry! I highly recommend reading their story.

The “chapters” are only about 2 pages long so the story felt like it moved quickly The female protagonist had a name for her scooter She also has a strong voice when she learns to use it The story was well plotted I appreciated the information which the author provided at the end of the book
Like other stories in this series, the writing is incredibly detailed and at times it dragged for me. I did find myself skimming even though the “chapters” were very short. I have not been reading the series in order, and it feels as if this particular story drops in the middle of another. It made me feel a little lost at the beginning so I would recommend reading it in order.

The story Happily. Ever After?: An Italian Relationship. (The Italian Saga Book 6) by Gaia B. Amman is a book that I truly enjoyed reading. It is a story that brings out powerful emotions from the characters and had me not wanting to put the book down until I had finished the last page. It is a book that had my emotions going up and down the entire time that I was reading it. I loved reading about the character of Leda. She is a young woman who is beautiful and smart. She has plans for her future. She also has an undeniable attraction to Sergio. Sergio is a man that is determined that Leda will be his and only his. Like a magnet, these two are drawn towards each other. Read this book to find out their story. This book has parts to it that I found sad and some that had me angry with how characters were treated. There are times when I could feel affection and love, while other times there was conflict. I grew to care about Leda and was always rooting for her to succeed in all that she does. There are other additional characters that you read about. I enjoyed reading about many of them and their interactions with Leda. This is a wonderful story to read and one that I would highly recommend.

An Italian Adventure is the first book in Gaia B Amman’s Italian Saga. It is told from the perspective of Lee, an adventurous and imaginative child in Italy in the 1980s. It has everything you could want in a book about childhood – long, warm summer days full of seemingly endless possibilities, secrets, confusing adults, monsters, tears… Lee is absolutely charming. She’s tough and always ready to stand up for herself, but also sensitive and loyal. Pretty much all of her friends are boys, and a big theme in the book is her (and them) figuring out if they see her as a person or a girl. I really like how her relationship with Viola, her older sister, develops over the course of the book. Where Lee is on the brink of teenagerhood, Viola is approaching adulthood with the stress of final exams looming over her. It’s a very enjoyable book. I felt a lot of nostalgia for my childhood reading it, and it made me think a lot about my own experiences. I also learned a lot about childhood in Italy (and a few Italian swear words…) which was interesting! For me, this is a five star book. It’s the first in a long series, so I’m looking forward to following Lee’s adventures as she grows up. I really enjoyed reading this, and getting to know the characters.

An Italian Adventure is book one in The Italian Saga series by Gaia B. Amman. I was really excited to uncover what this author writes, as I have not read this author’s work before. I5 is always a rush to find new talent. The blurb for this title tweaked my interest instantly. It sounded hilarious. I was a little unsure if I would get into a story that was based on pre teens, but it was a definite entertainer, and many avid readers would love to escape into this breath of fresh and innocent air.
Leda is a girl growing up in Italy. Her and her friends enjoy being young and carefree amongst the streets of Italy, facing trials most young girls face, discovering the pleasure of youth, while remaining innocent and eager to learn and discover new things. There are situations that are painful and hard to deal with, but the author sets out the characters in a way that is endearing and real. A tale that brought many childhood memories floating to the surface, An italian Adventure was a delight to read. 4 stars.

I found this book to be very intriguing yet engaging tale from the life of a twelve year old. I liked the authors creativity,and Leda’ s life growing up in Italy. It drew me in from the beginning and had me till the end. Leda is a great character.Shes a bit sassy.I truly enjoyed reading this Book .I highly recommend reading this Book. I look forward to reading more from this Author.

“An Italian Adventure” is the first book in The Italian Saga by Gaia B. Amman where we meet young Leda, or Lee as her friends call her. Leda is a precocious tomboy who loves hanging out with her best friends, all boys, and reading. This story isn’t driven by a single event, but more the small changes that happen in life. It is a beautiful story of a young girl trying so very hard not to be treated like a young girl. She desperately wants to be one of the boys and demands the respect she has from her friends. Leda is a freaking cool kid and it was a pleasure to read the beginning of her story. I loved reading about the Italian countryside and its beautiful beaches. As the author said, you really can’t help but love this story, since it’s based off of a true story, and I fully agree. Leda’s family and friends jump to life off the pages and made me relate to her in a real way. I can’t wait to continue reading about Leda and her adventures! I give “An Italian Adventure” five stars!

An Italian Adventure is the first book in Gaia B. Amman Italian Saga. The story is a beautiful coming of age tale, that deals with all the troubles of leaving childhood behind, and entering adolescents. Set in Italy in the 1980’s it follows tomboy Leda, who wants nothing more than to hang with two friends Peo and Flavio, climb trees and ride their bikes through the fields. Until the newest kid in town, and school bully Nico shows them a porno mag, right before their first communion. Thus starts the biggest change in Lee’s life and friendship, as she makes it through the good times and the bad. I thought An Italian Adventure was incredibly well written, with magnificent characters that came to life on every page. It was nostalgic to read about the troubles of teen years, and to remember when times were much simpler. When my biggest troubles were eating my vegetables and dealing with a bedtime. This story made me nostalgic for my childhood, and all the days spent playing on a playground, or swimming in a pool till I was blue. I adored this memoir of sorts, and look forward to seeing where the story goes in the future. I gave An Italian Adventure 4/5 stars!

An Italian Adventure ( The Italian Saga) (Volume 1) by Gaia B Amman. This is such a endearing coming of age story about a young girl named Leda ( Lee to her friends and family) who is going thru the same things all preteens go thru. She meets Nico who has just moved to Sicily in the 1980’s and he’s a major bully who scares all the kids except Lee. She’s a tomboy who fights with her siblings all the time so she’s not scared of anyone. This book takes you thru the emotions of a young girl who must confess her sins at confession, cope with the pending divorce of her parents and dealing with sibling rivalry. It is set in the beautiful setting of Italy and in a time when life was more laid back but there are just as many emotions and difficulties in growing up. You become Lee in this story, you feel her heartaches, her fears and her love. Its an amazing story of growing up and becoming a teenager. I loved this book and if you are 12 or 50 you will enjoy it too.

From start to finish, this novel completely had me immersed in the mind of our main character. This sassy, yet strong, adventure was well written with a strong narrative and point of view. I appreciated the deep cultural ties that helped share the entire book. The author has a unique voice and style, one that I was pleased to experience. Very much recommended.

An extremely detailed story about a young group of friends and the things they go through. It’s watching a “tomboy” struggle with gender normatives and figuring out what life and family is all about.
There are some very funny observations in this story ” …the priest in charge most of the time turned the wine into the blood of Jesus and then the host -a thin, white wafer- into his flesh in front it everyone’s eyes. Yet grown ups don’t believe in monsters.” But over all it didn’t move quick enough to hold my attention and I wasn’t sure where it was all headed.
This is the first book I’ve read by this author and I always appreciate anyone putting pen to paper. This book was just not my cup of tea.

An Italian Adventure is my first book by Gaia Amman. I was not sure what to expect and I am glad to find out that it was a fun story. Amman did a great job of telling the story in such detail that I felt like I was right there with Leda. The main character Leda was built by Amman in her own image when she was young. The setting is in Italy. The country through Leda’s eye is beautiful. The fun had just begun for Leda and by the time you are done reading the story you will be amazed with your mind’s eye that you could mentally put everything together as it should be. I cannot wait to read the other books in this series.

An Italian Adventure was a fun and interesting novel following Leda aka Lee as she grows as a character. Being a major tomboy she has always wanted to be a boy because that is what her father wanted, was a boy. As the story progresses she shares her experiences and the things that begin to open her eyes as she moves from a child to a young adult. I found her story fascinating and loved the interaction between her family and group of male friends. It was interesting to see their view of her change over time as well. Great novel!

An Italian Adventure (The Italian Saga Book 1) by Gaia B. Amman is a fun read and warms the heart. It is a coming of age story written as a memoir set in the 80’s. It shows the hopes and dreams, adventure and challenges these kids go through, lifetime bonds and friendships are formed in the most unlikely of times and places. The story is vivid and has you imagining their lives right along with them. Some times are not so good and sad but the journey they take is touching and will make you feel warm and fuzzy.
