The God (Her Three Immortals Book 2) by Hazel Storm – Review by Roxsanne Lesieur.

The God (Her Three Immortals, #2)The God by Hazel Storm
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Vanessa Maan is dead and at twenty four, that is pretty young, but she did it with good intentions, she sold her soul to Grey, the Don of the Underworld so that her brother could survive, a contract she sealed with a steamy kiss in the hospital car park, but when they come up for air, they are both in Grey’s apartment and are covered in gold dust, neither of them can understand why she was judged and sent there, but Grey is the most shocked of all, but that makes his mood terrible and he is more grouchy than usual. As they keep to their thoughts, Vanessa asks to see her brother to make sure that Grey held up his half of the deal, this is where she is handed a mirror with a lady’s face on the front, plus a lot of snakes for hair, he explains how to use it and then abruptly tells her to wash off the gold dust and to leave his penthouse before storming off to complete some business, Vanessa is taken aback by his rudeness, but isn’t overly surprised about it either, so she takes a look around the penthouse looking for the shower. While she is doing this, she notices that everything is in shades of grey, including her, so when the mirror starts a conversation about it’s capabilities and as the conversation flows between them, Vanessa finds out that she is called Gorgonita and that she was cursed by the Gods into her current form, Vanessa finds that they get on well too and it is nice that there is someone she can talk to in her current predicament, Gorgonita also explains briefly about the reason behind all the grey and would you believe it, it is because of Grey.

When she eventually finds the bathroom, she works out to use the shower and while she is in there, she has a visitation from another God who uses the dust to make his presence known and felt, as he does this, Vanessa is told that she can bring the colour back to the Underworld and she starts this with herself, once she is all dust free and feeling a little better about things, she goes for a nap after talking to Gorgonita, but just as she is about to lie down, the pillow under her head starts to purr, this freaks her out a little, especially when it unrolls itself and starts to eat the furnishings and saying that it is hungry. As Vanessa and Gorgonita try to figure out why it is here and why it is so big, Gorgonita reveals that she can order room service, so she does this and feeds the hungry caterpillar its usual fare, all after bringing its colour back. The caterpillar curls up on the sofa when it is done and Vanessa decides to do the same, however, she is happy to find that Raef joins her in her dreams just like before and the next day, she feeds her caterpillar and decides to head out and explore Elysium, however, when the Elevator won’t let her out, she is stumped, so decides to do a bit more research and discover as much as she can about her situation and why she is in the top level of the highest building there.

Meanwhile, Grey is back in the Overworld and carrying on his soul gathering, but leaving Vanessa is something he didn’t think would affect him this much and he doesn’t want to think about what the consequences of this may be, or to think of her at all, he is a God after all and has been strong for two hundred year, why should now be an issues? As both Vanessa and Grey try to figure out what is going on separately and Vanessa tries to navigate her new world and all its quirks, why is life so complicated after death, surely it should be easier than this? This is a paranormal romance with a twist where things are not as they seem and temptation lies around every corner.

The God is the second installment of Her Three Immortals by Hazel Storm and I loved it just as much as I loved the first installment. Once again we are thrown straight into a wonderful story, with a great plot line, and fantastic characters. This particular tale is told from multiple points of view, making the story all the more intriguing. While this paranormal romance has me biting at the bit to read the final installment in the series this one was definitely worth waiting for. So if your looking for a great new series to read then I highly recommend this one.

Vanessa is back, along with Grey, Raef, Aroz and a colorful cast of characters. Vanessa gave her soul to Grey in order to save Piper from Cancer. Now Vanessa is causing a little change and problems in Elysium/the Underworld. Hazel Storm has done it again. She has continued again the wonderfully funny story that leaves you chuckling as you follow the misadventures of Vanessa trying to adjust to her new “life.” A little steamy romance thrown in is awesome too. The repartee among all the players just flows smooth. The POV chapters run like a river back and forth. I highly recommend this book.

The God: A Greek Myth Fantasy Romance (Her Three Immortals Book 2)The God: A Greek Myth Fantasy Romance by Hazel Storm
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

For me, it was nearly impossible not to fall in love with the book as well as the plot and the character it contained! Also the characters all bought a certain appeal, be it wit or sex appeal or basically a sense of humor I was truly hooked! I found this book easy to get into and go right along with the plot. It gave me points to main concepts to the first novel and it made it very easy to follow and comprehend what happened previously to where we are now and what is and was to develop.

The main two characters, Vanessa and Grey, seriously were the perfect combination of everything you would want! as if having a nice cold drink on a weekend day siting on a beach. You could take a sip, but be so intrigued you keep going back. I loved their personalities of both these characters. They both made the book so worth wile. Though, I will say the novel itself and things that happened around these characters and the others made me want to keep on reading seriously.

Vanessa, let me say in small words she was the most freaking fantastic character ever. I was filled on her previous back story, and she truly had a heart worth saving. Literally. She loved deeply, but yet she was and is not someone you want to get on the bad side of! Grey had been learning this the hard way again and again through their time together, but perhaps a man of darkness and who truly believed nothing could ever touch him…was actually doing that in the most least unexpected way?

Grey, he is in charge of the underworld. He had his wit as well we Vanessa but he was the whole attitude of this is my place, you don’t belong, I don’t need you here. Perhaps, though, things happen for a reason and there was more to the destiny for Vanessa and Grey than they both realized.. Besides they strongly disliked each other more than words could describe between the two of them.

Besides the characters and their steamy, well built, leaving you wanting more moments, I loved how the author described the details of the settings so freaking good. For example, The Underworld, the way she described it felt I was right there in the Underworld. With its pain and along and its darkness and corruption of a humans soul. It felt so real. I literally had to pick myself from reading at random times just to be clear I was just super involved in my reading.

What really fascinated me the most truly was the fact that Vanessa met so many shapes and forms of people and they truly were all different. And the relationships that grow between them all. It really was a book worth while to invest in. I was into this book I kept reading and was lost into it. When I reached the ending, I could not believe how good it was getting…let me say that cliff hanger left me hanging and wanting so much more. I truly need to know what will happen to my beloved characters that I truly have bonded with! I with strong anticipation am waiting for the next book to come released!

Again I loved this book with a fiery passion. The author truly has a great talent on how to entrain her readers and keep them wanting more. Even when us as the readers are given a lot, we keep wanting more and will not rest till we do. She wrote a wonderful series and I know she will continue to do so with an amazing plot and characters. She truly knows how to write! I am beyond words with this book. I truly loved it is an understatement. I look forward to the next in the series!

The God (Her Three Immortals, #2)The God by Hazel Storm
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

The God, book #2 in the Her Three Immortals series, picks up right where the first story concluded. Vanessa is swept away to the Underworld with Grey, where he makes it clear she isn’t welcome. Once there, Vanessa befriends a gorgon, and finds a pet in her giant caterpillar, PK. Exploring the Underworld is quite an adventure for Vanessa, as she deals with Grey, her lover she left on earth, Raef, and their brother, Aroz.

Hazel Storm has done it again! This story is hot, full of steamy romance, adventure, humor, and loveable characters. The way she describes the Underworld is fantastic and is so different than what I have read before. The things that Vanessa sees, the people she meets, and the creatures she finds in the Underworld all combine to set the stage for a fantastic novel. This series is so light hearted and fun! This story was a great continuation in the series, and I can’t wait to read what happens next!

The God (Her Three Immortals, #2)The God by Hazel Storm
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

The God (Her Three Immortals Book Two) is the second book in Hazel Storm’s Immortals is just as good as the first. These books should be read in order. Storm has again swept us up and away into her own little world, or in this case, underworld. With a great cast of characters, you will not go wrong picking this series.

We pick up where we left off with Vanessa Maan and her three gods. Vanessa has given her soul to the Grey, the Don of the Underworld, in exchange for her brother, Piper’s, life. Now she is living in Grey’s apartment in the Underworld. No one knows why the Judges placed her here, but she has made it her mission to find out.

This book was just as fun, quick, and easy to read as the first. It again ends on a cliffhanger, which is not my favorite, but hopefully we will not have to wait too long until we receive the third.

The God (Her Three Immortals, #2)The God by Hazel Storm
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

If you had of told me that I would be a huge fan of love triangle love stories, I would have called you crazy. The idea that one could love more than one person in the way that a woman loves a man, or vice versa, has always confused me. To be honest, I sat down, and finished Vanessa and Grey’s story in one day. The supporting characters have left me wanting more, and more. I have been looking forward to reading more of Hazel Storms work, and as soon as this novel popped up on my radar, I snatched it up. The way that this author grabs you and throws you right back into her characters, and this world, is astonishing! I found myself transported into the Underworld, walking around this bleak, and grey world, feeling her angst and loss when it came to those that she left behind at the end of the first novel, and couldn’t stop reading. I find that I was able to connect to the plot, and absolutely adore the way that you read from all the different characters points of view, and in turn, have a greater understanding as to how they all are pulled together. Vanessa is a very strong female character and has lost and loved more than most would her age, and I couldn’t be more vested in her story. She brings so much colour to their love story, and so much more. Bring on The Bow, I will be walking on eggshells until I get to read this next installment! Thank you, Hazel, for this amazing adventure. Well done!

The God by Hazel Storm is the second book in Her Three Immortals series. For me this book does need to be read in order as it follows on from book one in the series and reading them both would definitely enhance your reading experience.
This book was even better than the first one. I was pulled straight back into the story and the characters without an issue and I just had to find out what was going to happen to them now.
This author has done an amazing job a creating an exciting and thrilling story, both with this book and the first. Her writing style completely fits with this type of story and she knows how to get the best out of what she is writing. I really enjoyed this book and I am excited for what is next.

The God is the second addictive book in Her Three Immortals series by Hazel Storm. OMG- I am really loving this series!!! I really liked the first book, and after the way Book #1 ended, I was really excited to get my hands on this book. And let me tell you, I was not disappointed!
This book continues on from where we left off in Book One- so if you haven’t read ‘The Don’ yet, I highly recommend that you do so before starting on this story. Book One lays the foundations of the series, with character introductions and other important information that will really enhance your enjoyment of this book.
This story really ups the ante, adding more mystery and suspense into the mix. As with the first book, this is a very sexy paranormal reverse-harem romance… a wonderful fantasy with lots of originality, Greek Gods, mythology, intriguing developments, drama, passion, chemistry, sizzle, complex characters, twists, danger, and so much more- making for a very addictive read!
I have been debating whether to outline some of the story to give you a taste of what to expect, but I really don’t want to spoil anything for you- especially if you haven’t read the first book yet. But I will say that this story takes us to the Underworld- which adds even more interest to this captivating story/series. Hazel Storm’s world building is really masterful- her detailed descriptions made everything come to life and I was easily able to picture everything, so vividly.
I loved every minute of this book and am well and truly hooked- I NEED my next fix STAT!!! Like yesterday lol…. especially after the way we ended on a bit of a cliffhanger, again lol.
CAN. NOT. WAIT. for book #3!!!
Fantastic!

Thank you, Hazel Storm!

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I really enjoyed this  book. This is the 2nd book in the Her Three Immortals Series. I would definitely recommend reading the books in order as in the first book we are introduced to the characters that are in this book too.

We are back with Vanessa. Since she gave her soul to Grey(the don of the underworld) to save her brother Piper, she now finds herself dead and living with Grey in his apartment. Why did the judges place her there no one knows but she is planning on finding out.

The underworld is a world of grey. No colour anywhere. That is until Vanessa with the help of Grey and Reaf’s brother Aroz she learns how to put colour back into this world.
With the feelings and connection between the three brothers and Vanessa growing can they learn to share her or will it all end in disaster. Add to this the mission Vanessa finds herself on to help save Grey’s brother Adonis from becoming a loss soul and its an action packed story.
If Vanessa can save Adonis will Grey’s outlook on life change? Will she ever be reunited with her love Reaf? And what part with Grey and Aroz make in her love life?

I was so excited that I got to read The God: Her Three Immortals after I love Hazel Storms first book, The Don! I read The Don and loved it, so I had some expectations going into this story. In my experience sequels to stories can sometimes disappoint, in this case it was just the opposite! It was just as good as the first. Steamy, powerful, captivation and intriguing. A little slow in some parts but not even close to enough to have me putting it down. I read this in one sitting as well as the first, I needed all the answers! I loved Hazel Storms take on the underworld, I don’t think I have every read something like it, it was a nice refresher. I cannot wait to read more from this author!

The God (Her Three Immortals Book 2) by Hazel Storm follows on from the first book The Don. This fun and titillating clever story leave you wanting more. It is a quick read, but an engrossing read that has me laughing. This sexy tale is told from multiple POV’s which make it so much richer. As with the first book this paranormal romance is unique and original. When the Gods like to play you never know just what you are getting yourself into. The Underworld is not like the Upperworld and now she is unsure what to do when you have upset the Don of the Underworld and he has stormed off to God knows where.

Beware the three sexy immortal Gods out of Greek mythology who have set their attention on Vanessa, ooowweeeeee, watch the sparks explode in this reverse harem story.

As Hazel states unfortunately, we are once again stuck with an ending that is somewhat cliffhangery! I love this word.

Guys, The God did not disappoint! It was just as good as the first book and ended with me wanting more!

Per usual the characters in this series continue to be amazing: the thoughts, actions, quirks, all unique and interesting!
Vanessa is such a fun character, I’m so invested in her family tree I want to go chop it down to get my answers now! PK also had me lovin’ on pets!
Let’s talk about men! There are no losers in looks in this book! Whose team am I on? Umm Vanessa’s, because she is the real winner here! We get to read about not three, but four steamy men in this one!

Buckle up because this ride is not over! I can’t wait to see what happens next in The Bow!

This is the second book in this series which I enjoyed just as much as the first one. I highly suggest reading the first book as well to help your enjoyment of this series and this author. This is a well written paranormal story that kept me turning pages to the end. I enjoy this author’s writing skills and her attention to details. She pulls me into the story with ease and I am kept engaged to the end. This book is no different. This is a story about what happens when Vanessa sells her soul to the Don of the Underworld, Grey. Now she is living with him and he doesn’t want her there. Then you have Raef who is on earth. Her life is complicated and it shouldn’t be especially when you are dead. What happens with Vanessa is only for fate to tell but I highly recommend reading and finding out. The characters are connectable and truly made the story what it is. There is great growth with them and I really enjoyed them. This is worth the pick up for sure.

THE GOD (HER THREE IMMORTALS BOOK 2) by Hazel Storm
Genre – PARANORMAL ROMANCE; REVERSE HAREM; GREEK MYTHOLOGY
Page Count – 275 pages
Cover Designer – Alex Hayes
I sold my soul to the Don of the Underworld. And now, I’m stuck in his penthouse.
That would all be well and good, except he — Grey — doesn’t want me here and has stormed off.
Which is kind of immature if you ask me.
So, here I am — a sad soul called Vanessa Maan — alone in Hell.
Well, alone, except for…
A serpent-haired gorgon on a mirror, who is, actually, quite nice.
A gargantuan caterpillar, who can’t stop eating.
And an elevator that refuses to let me leave the building.
Not to mention — but I will, anyway — I’m covered in gold dust from one of Aroz’s love arrows, which would’ve hit me if Grey hadn’t whisked me Down Under. And I don’t mean Australia.
It didn’t work. The love arrow, that is.
Because I am definitely not in love with that self-proclaimed A-hole of the Underworld, even if I can’t stop thinking about the guy — god — whatever.
Meanwhile, my gentleman, Raef, is stuck on earth — with my mother, my brother, and an awful lot of explaining to do.
Life shouldn’t be this complicated.
Especially, when you’re dead.
The God is a hot Why Choose? novel and the second story in the Her Three Immortals series.
**Warning: contains sexual situations, explicit language and is somewhat cliffhangery.

The Don (Her Three Immortals Book 1) by Hazel Storm

This is the first book I’ve read by the author. Hazel Storm has a new fan and reader. She knows how to write and I will be coming back for more.

Vanessa is not the normal person people think her to be. She seems to have caught the attention of three immortals. Grey, Aroz, and Raef. The quote I chose for Vanessa is: “Hm. Speaking of doing without, would you mind if I take a day off next week? I need to visit some specialists in the city about Piper.”

Grey is the top dog of the Underworld. Vanessa is something he wants. The only question is though is can he share. He’s not the only one wanting her. The quote I chose for Grey is: “How many boys did you say work for him?”

Highly recommended for Contemporary Romance lovers

This book was a lot of fun to read. It takes Mythology to the next level, and its a very fun process to watch play out. We have Grey, Raef, and Aroz who are all 3 sexy Greek Gods and brothers. We then meet Vanessa who is human, a hair dresser, and currently going thru a life crisis with her brother Piper. We watch as these 4 have their lives entertwined and turned upside down. What can a girl do when she gets a chance with the God of the Underworld, a Demi-God, and an Angel? This will be a story you won’t be able to put down once you begin.

The DonThe Don by Hazel Storm
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

The Don was a great 5 star read. I was pulled in right from the beginning.

Vanessa is a hairstylist trying to earn extra money to find a Doctor that can help her brother. She loves making her clients look beautiful. She also has a specific view on men, there are two types, angels and a-holes.

Grey is the Don of the Underworld, when he comes to earth to renegotiate a contract he meets Van. There is something special about her that has him changing his plans and he rents a room from her neighbor. When Van sees Grey she can see a glow around him and an attraction to him, who is he?

Van also meets Raef who happens to be drawn to her as well and wants to help her. They end up seeing more of each other and he is starting to show Van there may be more than two types of men.

Will she be able to get the help her brother needs before it’s too late?

Overall I really enjoyed this read, I felt like there were several stories going on and they connected well. I have to say the dreams she had were hot as heck. All of the characters added a great element to the story. I’m torn between Grey and Raef, they both were hot and I just can’t quite make up my mind on my favorite. We do get a heck of a cliffhanger at the end that left me in shock. I can’t wait to read the next book in the series to see what happens next. The Don (Her Three Immortals Book 1) by Hazel Storm – Review by Hansini Wasalamudalige

The DonThe Don by Hazel Storm
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

The Don is the first book of Hazel Storm’s Her Three Immortals series starring beautician Vanessa Maan and her sudden embroilment in the lives of three beautiful Gods— Grey, the Don of the Underworld, Aroz, a harbinger of love, and Raef, the sauve billionaire. Dark and sensual, Storm depicts a mortal world that Gods and Goddesses alike treat as their own personal playground while also intricately weaving details about the Upperworld and Underworld— the realms of the immortal and dead— into her story in a manner that isn’t hamfisted and jarring. By the end of the book, I had a clear understanding as to how these celestial worlds worked— from the operation of the afterlife down below all the way up to the complicated politics and tense relationships between the deities above the clouds. The way Storm brings these worlds to life through vivid descriptions and colourful characters- almost so much so that I believed they could be real— is an attestation to her expertise and talent.

Of course, a book revolving around three ‘sexy-as-sin’ Gods is only as good as the men themselves and The Don certainly delivers on all fronts, Grey, Aroz and Raef, despite being half-brothers, couldn’t be more wildly different from each other, thus making them unique and distinct. It’s undeniable that each of them are handsome, but their beauty isn’t just skin deep— they’re rich and interesting characters beyond a surface level and this is conveyed through Storm’s use of multiple perspectives throughout the book. Grey, Aroz and Raef all have chapters dedicated to telling the events of the story through their eyes, allowing readers to grasp how they specifically feel in the moment and to better discern their motives and circumstances. It’s a tool that Storm uses skillfully to drive the narrative forward and explore experiences and the world beyond Vanessa Maan.

This brings me to what is by far The Don’s greatest strength— Vanessa Maan herself. It’s no surprise why our heroine has captured the attention of some of the most attractive bachelors around- she is a truly kind and good soul whose goal in life is to bring a touch of joy and beauty into the lives of others and to assist her younger brother in any way she can. Storm crafts Vanessa in such a way that makes readers sympathise with her plight and root for her to find her happily ever after. That’s not to say that Vanessa is a meek wallflower— she is proactive and takes destiny into her own hands which makes her all the more compelling. Her tenacity, wittiness and heart is echoed and bolstered by the characters around her— from interactions with her adoring brother and mother to the banter with the old ladies that frequent her salon and her exquisite fashion sense, Vanessa’s vibrant personality shines. Picking up the second book is therefore a must if only to follow the next steps in Vanessa’s journey.

All-in-all, The Don is not a book to pass over. If you’re in the market for some steamy romance entangled in a web of feuding Gods and Goddesses, then this story will fill that quota.

The Don (Her Three Immortals Book One) by Hazel Storm was an incredible read! This book felt really quick, and I read it in no time! I loved all the characters, and quickly lost in the pages of this novel. It was interesting because I’ve never read a book before where the author has mixed demons and angels with the Greek gods and kind of threw together different mythologies. It was a very interesting and intriguing read. I can’t wait to read the next installment of this series!

This is the first book that I have read by Ms. Storm and it was interesting and unique. I can’t wait to read book two in this series. The characters are great and strong minded and the way they play of each other is awesome. This is a sexy paranormal reverse-harem romance, with a very captivating storyline that I enjoyed a lot…

We meet Vanessa she works as a hairdresser/ beautician and her job enables her to bring out the beauty in those around her but since her fathers passing and left her family with nothing, she has come to realize there are two types of men there an Angle and then there’s the devil.

Now Vanessa has three sexy-as-sin men

Grey he the Don of the Underworld.

Then we have Aroz he is literally an angel with the whole nine yards…golden wings, lusty love arrows, and to-die-for lips as curvaceous as his well-strung bow…which isn’t the only thing of his that’s well-strung, by the way.

And last, we have Raef. Meeting him turned her attitude toward men on its head. And as good as forced her to add a third category to the list. Gentlemen.

What more can a girl want with these three men…

I highly recommend this book…

OMG! First of all, I must preface this by saying that I am a sucker for reverse harem novels, so I may be biased but this book rocked! However, Hazel Storm really did a great job writing this novel in a classy way. Some reverse harem novels can be a bit much even for me. So bonus points for sure. I really loved the concept as well and really enjoyed all the characters and the time that went into building them. I was invested in them right away and I cannot wait to come back and read about them more in the coming books. I hope we will get more of them soon! This one really set us up on the men and Vanessa, it’s told from several points of view and is well layered so that there is no confusion at all. I definitely have favorites so far but I am keeping them reserved until I have more novels and stories to make my final choices lol. This is one you don’t want to miss if you love reverse harems and romances with heat!
