My Free Life: Prequel to The Brothers of Camelot by Necie Navone

From beginning to end this book and series held my attention and captured my heart. Necie Navone does an amazing job with these books further establishing characters we are introduced to in the Brothers of Camelot. I loved all of these characters and the universe that this series delved into and explored. Amazing development. I felt every single emotion deeply. Cannot wait to read these books again.

This romantic suspense had me on the edge of my seat for most of the story. Just couldn’t put it down. Martha Sweeney does an amazing job setting the stage and developing these characters. A fantastic story from first page to last, I am so thankful that the story will continue. I cannot wait to read this story again and read the next book in the series. So good!

Embattled Hearts by J.M. Madden

I always find that I have a soft spot for military romances. Thankfully this book did not disappoint. From the first page to the last, the author held my attention with her great characters and plot development. Everything felt authentic and realistic. These characters felt like people I already knew. This was a wonderful book and I am looking forward to reading more in this series and from this author.

If you love a good holiday story with happily ever after at its core, you’ve found the book for you. I loved this book and it had me grinning like an idiot like a good Hallmark movie. I continue to thoroughly enjoy Lindsay Marie Miller’s writing style. This latest book is no exception. I was immediately drawn in by these relatable characters. The plot was well developed and well paced. I was entranced and had difficulty putting the book down before I finished the last page. This book can be easily read as a standalone but is best enjoyed and appreciated when read in context of the entire series as presented. Overall a great book and one I look forward to reading again very soon.

Just when I am unsure how the author will surpass the predecessor I am found riveted by the second installment. This book had me in its grips from beginning to end. It’s beautifully written and allowed to feel as though I was walking right beside the main characters throughout. The characters and plot felt very realistic. It delves into an intriguing lifestyle that I find fascinating and scary. Just a beautifully well written book that left me anxious to read the final installment in this prequel. So very good!

Do Not Open Until Halloween by C.A. King

This YA fantasy hooked me on the first page. C.A. King is quickly becoming a “go-to” author for me. King’s books are well-paced, richly detailed, and allow the reader to fly off into a whole new world. This story is another winner. Although not long in page number, this is another King story that is riveting and solid. I loved every minute I spent in its pages.

Truly Unfortunate by C.A. King

I truly was unsure what I was going to find in the pages of this dark fantasy. A young girl has a troubled past but has no memories of her childhood. CA King does a great job weaving fantasy and mystery into this tale in a masterful way. There were twists and turns throughout the book, most of which I didn’t see coming. An enjoyable book and an interesting peek into the world that will unfold. I look forward to reading more from this author and in this series.
