This box set was phenomenal! Each of the brothers were sexy and fierce and the romance was perfect. I loved each book individually and felt that they all went together so well. The spice was magnificent and all of the FMCs were totally badass women that were able to handle their men just right. I don’t know if I could ever pick a favorite man since each one of them is so hot and unique. I love that in this box set you get all of them for the price of one!

As the fight turns intense so do the feelings. The next sparrow to make herself known is Zoe who flies in to help another brother, Archer. As the plot thickens trust and loyalty is called into play and how easy it is to risk everything for the ones you love. However, how do you make that choice when you love both of who are at risk? Next sparrow up is Izzy but what a surprise when the brother she is sent to protect, Kai, is her first love islander who she left in bed years ago. How will this effect the fight and will they be able to look past their past to once again find solace in each other? Next can you truly call her a dark sparrow if she’s found at a Covent? Last but not least the brother who is out to save everyone from daddy Finch, Oz. When Devas cousin returns home she receives a call from an old colleague to receive help. Dr.King aka Oz mom is ready to implement a sparrow of her own when Oz goes to check on his mom he is shocked to see the women and distraction he didn’t want but maybe needed. Dr. Sofia is back but is it for good and do they finally stop Finch from trying to destroy not only his sons lives but all of Chicago? I once again was drawn into this series. India Kells once again has killed it. She is very quickly becoming on of my favorite authors.

I’ve read plenty of India Kells’ books over the years and this series is one of my favourites. Each book in this set is about one of six bastard sons.
#1 I enjoyed the Chicago setting. This is a great romance thriller with plenty of angst and suspense. I loved the writing style and I loved all the characters. Highly recommend!
#2 This is the second book in the Dark Sparrow series and I loved it as much as the first. There was lots of action and suspense, and it kept me turning the page the whole way through. I love the way the author writes her characters with a lot of depth and complexity, as it makes for compelling stories. Highly recommend.
#3 I love any book by India Kells, including this one. There’s plenty of tension and intrigue, as usual, but I also liked how the characters felt less “alpha” in this one. This one had a great storyline that kept me turning the pages. This is a great romantic thriller to read.
#4 This was a great book! There was plenty of action, chemistry between the characters, and lots of suspense. I really loved the danger and intrigue of this book. This was definitely a page-turner.
#5 I’ve read several of India Kells’ books and I love their romantic suspense, especially in this Dark Sparrow series. In this novel, Sam and Ellie are drawn to each other by a connection where sparks fly immediately, but they both have dark pasts that they have to overcome to be with each other. I felt like I wanted more depth, as this was quite a short read and the resolution seemed too easy. Overall, a quick romance read.
#6 Knowing this was the last book of the series, this was just a fun read and I liked how it wrapped up the series. It’s still full of tension, suspense, mystery, and of course romantic chemistry as with all the previous books in the series.
Every book in this series is full of action and great characters, highly recommend!

I’m a big fan of this series and this author in general. I’m also an extremely big fan of box sets. I love when authors put them together so it’s easy to know which one is next or whatever. Every single character in this series will have you completely hooked. Every story is a great read. They are all well written and you’ll find yourself perfectly content being lost in the pages for a while! Five stars all the way!!!

This is a wonderfully written collection of six books in one boxset. Each book in this collection is just as good as the last. I’m a huge fan of this author and her style of writing along with amazing characters make for a epic story. This is one of those series that I will definitely be rereading in the future. This is a collection of six men they related as brothers but are bound by blood and then there’s the six women who all have their own secrets. And the father who is dangerous and out to get everyone . This collection is one you don’t want to miss .I highly recommend reading this collection To find out what happens next.

India Kells captured me! I do believe I read one of these individually and not in order before finding this and rereading from the beginning. Each book performs well on its own with different characters that intertwine and all around incredible stories with their own fair shares of steam, romance, conflict, chemistry, and surprises. You do not HAVE to read them all or in order but I would be surprised if you read one and didn’t want to wholly consume the others. The characters are just to die for. You cannot help but fall for them and their journeys. India is an incredible author spinning tales that take you to another place. I can not get enough from the author!

I binged this series from start to finish, the box set is made up of Lost Bastard, Cold Bastard, Wild Bastard, True Bastard, Dark Bastard and King Bastard. This series is full of romance and suspense. It is a truly bingeable series, well written, fast paced and pulled me in from the first page to the last. Highly Recommended.

This was an AMAZING box set!! I absolutely loved everything about it! The authors writing was phenomenal and each story was a 5 star read for me! I loved every single story in the box set, each one is about a different brother and together just make for some phenomenal reading! I honestly cannot praise this series enough, I loved all of the books but think possible Cold Bastard is my favourite, the storyline was a little more complex as were the characters. Overall 6 AMAZING reads and a box set that I would highly recommend!

There are 6 books in this box set, and each one follows a different son – Aleksei, Archer, Kai, Liam, Sam, and Lazarus. I read Book 1, Lost Bastard and Book 5, Dark Bastard. Lost Bastard follows Deva and Aleksei. Deva is physical therapist and Aleksei is a cage fighter born out of Russia and has ties to Bratva. Now, after a decade, she is heading back to Chicago and is pulled back into the underground. You see, when Deva was rescued 10 years prior, she agreed to return the favor. Her characters will make you fall in love with them, well some of them anyway. Others will just keep you wondering when they will get to meet Karma. I am sad to see this series end. I’m excited that the book in the story is the oldest of the King brothers. Lazarus’s one goal in life is to protect his family. From his own father! I could not believe this man, the one to take care of his wife and children. Instead he made them pay for being in his selfish way. This story got me so twisted. There was the father, the brothers and their families. All trying to find their part in this story. Lazarus must put an end to his family’s nightmare. Meanwhile his heart is beginning to open, while not the best time to. Lazarus might have found his soulmate, but can he protect one more person in his life? This was a fantastic series. Each one is better than the one before. There were so many suspenseful roller coaster rides. I was thrown into the depths of so many emotions. I recommend you read this series in order, even though they can be read as a standalone? I feel it’s a must to get familiar with the whole family. As the end pulls the series to a close. No spoilers will be found. This story was filled with all kinds of angst and twists. Her characters will make you fall in love with them, well some of them anyway. This is the first book in A Dark Sparrow Series. This is the first book I’ve read by the author, but it won’t be my last. Kells has really done a great job writing this.
Deva, a Dark Sparrow, goes to help Lazarus. He wants to watch his brothers and make sure he’s kept out of harm’s way. Little does Deva know that the brother is going to capture her heart. The quote I chose for Deva is: “I agree. And I couldn’t stop thinking about what Finch and my father had said. All those speeches about patience, about preparing for war. What if he was speaking about a war from within? What if Finch had prepared things way in advance, and placed his pawns in strategic places.”
Aleksei, Lazarus’s half brother, trains at the gym only to find his Angel there. He keeps her at arms length, but when he’s injured she’s the one to help him. Things get tough and he pushes her away. This is the second book of A Dark Sparrow Novels. As the second book I’ve read by the author I can say I’ve enjoyed it. Kells knows how to capture a reader’s attention.
Zoe knows her languages and is requested by Beatrice for a favor. Keep an eye on one of Lazarus’s half brothers. Not sure what she’s getting herself into she goes. She finds herself going back to the past. The quote I chose for Zoe is: “You had love in your life, and even if you struggled and battled through some tough times, you had a choice to do something with it. Grabbing that power. I will never judge you for the decisions you made, that path on the dark side. I would have done the same thing. Hell, I’m doing it right now. At least love brought you back. You always have a choice, Archer. Never forget that.”

The third book in A Dark Sparrow Novels. Kells has really upped her game from the first two books. Lazarus is at it again with helping one of the many half brothers and Kells captures it perfectly.
Isabel is the next Dark Sparrow to be called upon the favor. What she doesn’t realize when she agrees to the meeting is she’ll be running right into the past’s arms. Jones isn’t who she expected to see and it gets better. The quote I chose for Isabel is: “No pressure. Because all I want is you.”
Kai, Delta Force, goes to another meeting in hopes to bring down his father, Finch. What he’s not expecting is for the girl who broke his heart and got away is the one that’s helping. Things don’t go as planned and it scares him. The quote I chose for Kai is: “Are you still set on returning to work tomorrow?”
True Bastard (A Dark Sparrow Novel #4) by India Kells
Kells knows how to get attention with everything she writes. So far I’ve read all The Dark Sparrow Novels and I can’t wait for more. These characters will never be forgotten.
Liam, a cop and the fourth brother to Lazarus, is upset that they didn’t bring down their father. Gabrielle had to leave as an emergency came up, but she brought a gift. Someone to cut Finch’s money. Dark Bastard: A Dark Sparrow Novel # 5 by India Kells
This is another great read by Kells. Dark Bastard was an amazing read and I can’t wait for the next one. It’s part of A Dark Sparrow Series, but can be read as a standalone.

King Bastard: A Dark Sparrow Novel #6 by India Kells
This is not the first book I’ve read by the author. The Dark Sparrow Novels get better each one I read. King Bastard is by the far the best and we get to learn more about the head guy.
Lazarus is known for protecting his brothers from their father. So far each of them have found their happily ever after. Sasha came into his life when it was at his lowest and she just might be the best thing that has happened to him. The quote I chose for Lazarus is: “I didn’t know you’d worked with her so many times during your missions.”
Sasha comes back to the states after being away for a while. She gets a call from Lazarus’ mother and now has a place to stay. Can she get through to Lazarus that they can be more than friends? The quote I chose for Sasha is: “Sorry. I don’t come home a lot, and when I do, my brain takes time to adjust. I compare the life here and back there, seeing the inequalities, and it blows my mind.”

It was such a thrill being around Deva , Alexksei and the team and there were times I held my breath in anticipation and yes I even had time to have a cry in between all the bullets and fist fights .
With her history I understand Deva’s hesitation but at the same time girl get your Russian grove on ❣️😉

Zoe is a real little powerhouse , she’s a survivor , a protector and really gifted and you can’t help but love this girl !
Zoe and Archer cross paths(thanks to Gabrielle and Purgatory) when he decides to sell his oil refineries and her solecism set of expertise comes in rather handy …..
There were some nail biting moments for me where I held my breath to calm my breathing and still my heartbeat but Zoe also had a way that made me chuckle so she took care of me ❤️
Both Archer snd Zoe have painful history and scars and I think the healing they bring to each other is what makes me love them even more !
WILD BASTARD
Isabel is a very resourceful woman . She is hold , she is brave , she is beautiful and she is Kai’s Achilles heel !
Kai is usually the laid back one in the “ brotherhood” but being around Isabel is bring out the derelict side of our delectable Hawaiian shirt wearing hurry 😉🔥
Kai and Isabel have a history, a romantic one at that and it took me a bit to get to the heart of the story but be patient , it’s worth the wait 😉
Again , there were moments so intense I was grinding my teeth because I tensed up so bad 🤷♀️😱🤦♀️and I could feel my heart in my mouth ! But Isabel and her sharp wit, banter and replies had me snickering and laughing out loud , she might come across as an ice queen but she’s got heart ❤️ love you girl !
TRUE BASTARD
I was like super excited to discover more about Liam , he has a good heart that’s for sure !
He took in the stray that became part of the family thanks to Zoe and Chewy is a real sweetheart ❣️🐾 and I’m a firm believer in the way someone treats animals says a lot about their character and who they are !
Catriona, you’re a very special kind of human girl and you’ve left your mark on my heart , your character touched me in a special way ❣️🤗
Liam and Catriona both have scars and baggage from their past and the chemistry between them had me fanning myself ! Liam could melt the knickers off of a nun ( pardon the pun 😉)
As with the other brothers I was taken on a wild ride my emotions were all over the place 🤷♀️🤦♀️😂 I laughed , I cried , I was petrified and I loved ….again ❣️
DARK BASTARD
Sam has always been the quiet one , the one in the shadows , he keeps to himself really so to say I was excited to learn more of him would be a bit of an understatement……
Out of all the brothers I think Finch had the biggest hold on him or should I say he knew how to play mind games with Sam and I knew he was in for the battle of his life and he had an army behind him that cares …..
Ellie , you came into Sam’s life when he needed it most and for that I’m most grateful but it seems to me that you both found each other when you needed each other the must and didn’t even know it ❣️
These 2 people will always have a special place in my heart ❤️ like the previous brothers their story has twists , turns and moments where it felt like I could stop breathing but there was something different as well , something that touched me , I think it may be empathy , their lives and situations weren’t easy but they found healing with each other ! I am glad that I had the whole set of six books, I am sure that I would have become frustrated if had not had all of them because they are all page-turners. I had the I will finish this chapter and then go to bed and after three books I did. India Kells has a distinct way to drag you in the story and you feel like you are there. I wanted to help solve each one of the brother’s problems and I so wanted to take down their dad. All six of the boys are “bastard” children from a cold-hearted bastard himself, Finch emotionally, physically, and sexually abused his boys, and in each and every book so you the outcome of each and how they all want to take down this corrupt evil man.

Dark Sparrow Box Set: The Complete 6-Book Series is a great way to get a complete series all in one. I have read several in the series but this gives me the complete set so that I can read all the books in this series. Book 2: Cold Bastard The story is about Zoe Somersby and Archer Blackwood. Zoe had been brought in to work for Archer as an undercover agent. The characters are well written and allowed the story to flow. There was lots of suspense and mystery as well as a little romance. I really like this is a well-thought-out story and the characters are interesting people. Everyone is not always what one would assume. Book 4: True Bastard Liam and Catriona are fascinating to read about. The contrast between the two characters is so good and really made me enjoy their story even more. This story is not a straight romance but also contains action, thrills, and twists. Book 5: Dark Bastard This story follows Sam and Ellie. Both of them are going through a really rough time in life but can they help each other see the light? This book is about the depths of the human soul and how some handle it. There are some sensitive sections of sexual abuse and suicide. I believe the author handles them well and uses them to develop the characters. I liked the characters and it was interesting to finally get to more of Sam in this book.

The heat between Archer and Zoe is off the charts and there is one scene I had to give myself a minute. Who knew a conversation could be so hot?
This book and series is a good mix of suspense, romance and comedy. There were some laugh out loud moments from a few different people, one of which I didn’t expect.
Wild Bastard
Kai is a strong alpha who was once brought to his knees by a woman but he’s determined not to let that happen again.
Isabel has become a successful owner of a PR firm which has really taken off in the last couple of years. She’s approached by Jamison Finch to help him but is this a good idea or will she be working with the devil.
True Bastard
This series has been amazing so far and I love Liam and how he makes sure he is nothing like his father which I could relate to. He’s quite the stand up guy and he would do anything for Catriona even when he felt like he should be fighting it.
Catriona is an amazing woman with a heart of gold and God’s ear. She brings so much happiness and joy to everyone she meets. Cary and Ted broke and melted my heart.
Dark Bastard
Dark is the perfect description for Sam. His history with his “father” is something worse that I imagined it to be. I knew Finch was the scum of the earth but he has proven that title is too kind.
Sam manages to try and climb out of the darkness only after a misdialed call and fate has something else in mind for him.
Ellie is something else, she wants to help everyone and seems to have taken it upon herself to save them even if they don’t want to be saved and it’s taken it’s toll on her. Her need to save may be just what Sam needs.
I know going in there will be some danger and suspense when I read the books from this series, but I for some reason seem surprised when it happens, but I can’t seem to put the book down no matter what.
The relationship these brothers have is amazing, though not raised together they have an incredibly tight bond which leaves no doubt on who has their backs.

This is a great must read series that will have you on the edge of your seat.
True Bastard (A Dark Sparrow Novel #4) by India Kells was a good 4 star read and can be read as a stand alone.
Liam was injured on the job and is still working on bringing his father down, along with his brothers. Knowing that they need some additional help, we meet Catriona. As soon as Liam meets her there are some instant sparks. There is only one problem, Catriona is a nun.
Will she be able to help Liam? Can Liam stay away from Catriona and keep it professional?
These two have similar childhoods, Catriona was an orphan raised by nuns and Liam was raised by his uncle. There is so much going on, you are on the edge of your seat. The author does a great job with her writing. We get suspense, danger, romance and so much more.
Overall this was a great read. All of the characters added a great element to the story.
Dark Bastard (Dark Sparrow, #5) This was a great 5 star read. Once I started I couldn’t put it down.
Sam was ready to make a choice. While making one last phone call to his brother, he ends up calling a wrong number and talks to a woman who sounds like she needs to be saved. Sam’s plans change and he is determined to find this woman. With his brother’s help he is able to find where she works and lives.
These two both have heartbreaking pasts. And unfortunately Sam’s dark past comes back to haunt them. Can Sam keep Ellie safe and have a HEA with her?
Overall this was a great read. I will warn that there are triggers in the story. The author does a great job with her writing, you feel like you’re right there with the characters. My emotions were all over the place.
King Bastard (Dark Sparrow, #6) This was a thrilling 5 star read. Once I started I didn’t want to put it down. Lazarus (Oz) quickly became my favorite in this series.
Sasha comes to Chicago to work, she ends up getting a call from an old friend asking her to help with something. Little did she know who her friend’s son was, Oz. When they came face-to-face old feelings came flooding back. You can feel the attraction between them but Oz tries to keep her at arms length to try and protect her. His crazy father is still on the loose and until he finds him none of his loved ones will be safe.
Will Oz be able to keep her safe? Will he finally give in to his feelings for her?
Overall I really enjoyed this book, it was the last one in the series. It can be read as a stand alone but it’s much better if you read them all. All of the characters added a great element to the story. The author does a great job of pulling you in with her writing. I look forward to reading more from her. If you haven’t already gotten each and every one of these books, now is the time. Get this series. It is amazing.
Each book features a different brother on the same mission. To regain their life after finding each other and escape the clutches of their depraved father. As the brotherhood cements and their father continues to evade their efforts to bring him down, each brother finds a reason to keep fighting. The path towards happiness for all the brothers culminates with the destruction of their father’s world, his influence, and him.
This series is fantastic. The characters continue to grow as their lives intertwine through each new episode. The author should receive praise for years to come for this series. Superb!!!

Just how much more awesome does it get than when one of your favourite authors puts all 6 outstanding books in a series into 1 perfect box set? This is one of those series that I know I’ll read over and over and never tire of. Six very different sons all have their own amazing stories to tell and I absolutely loved every single one of them. In this box set we get the following 6 full length romantic suspense novels: Lost Bastard – Alexei’s story Cold Bastard – Archer’s story Wild Bastard – Kai’s story True Bastard – Liam’s story Dark Bastard – Sam’s story King Bastard – Lazarus (Oz)’s story.
Each story has something very different to offer but all are as thrilling and enticing as the other. This is an absolutely incredible series. It is explosive right from the word go. Each book adds something extra to the series as a whole but is also amazing in its own right. The characters are well written and complex. I really found myself connecting with them. The books in this series are all intense. They are filled with action and dark romance and is just pure excitement to read. If you haven’t already I would urge you to get these books today. This is a fantastic author and I would highly recommend her work.

The Dark Sparrow Box Set by India Kells is amazing. I have read this series from the first book to the last book, each one better than the one before it. The storyline deals with a dark subject. The characters are fully developed and complicated. One thing I love about India Kells is her attention to detail. She paints a vivid picture with her details. I found myself engrossed in all the books. I had to leave enough time so that when I started one of the books I could finish it on the same day. If you like romance with a little suspense in them you will love India Kells Dark Sparrow Box Set.

This is a great completed series by India Kells. The series focuses on six brothers who’s job it is to bring their father down. Each brother has a Dark Sparrow (ie their FMC) that has been tasked in helping to bring him down. However daddy dearest isn’t the greatest of guys and will stop at nothing to avoid his fate. The storylines and romance in each book is great and keeps you reading! But be warned, you may stay up too late reading as you’ll start and won’t realize that it’s suddenly 3 am!

Dark Sparrow Box Set: The Complete 6-Book Series contains the entire collection of books in the Dark Sparrow Series by India Kells. I keep saying it, but I have loved everything India Kells has written, and these books are no exception. She is one of my favourite authors and I one-click anything she releases, no questions asked. This is a fantastic opportunity to get a complete series in one exciting boxset. They definitely provide a riveting read, from beginning to end- as expected Ms. Kells has woven some really gripping, well thought out, and completely engrossing stories. Each book focuses on one of the bastard ‘brothers’ and the woman who steals his heart. But the brothers also have recurring roles in the overall series too. Each book adds to the series, building on what came previously, painting a bigger picture in the process, adding layers and facets to the overall storyline. My review for each individual book can be found on each title, separately, below is a general overview of this thrilling boxset.
The Box Set contains:
–Lost Bastard (Dark Sparrow Book One) This is Aleksei and Diva’s story. If you are a MMA/ Russian Mafia romantic suspense lover, then this is one book you won’t want to miss.
–Cold Bastard (Dark Sparrow Book 2) We follow Archer and Zoe through all the intriguing developments in this fantastic second chance romance. Even though I have adored all the books and characters in this series- this one dug itself a little deeper into my heart and is definitely one of my favourites.
–Wild Bastard (Dark Sparrow Book 3) I loved Isabelle and Kai’s story, and I am sure you will too. There is danger, suspense and second chances that will have you hooked right till the end.
–True Bastard (Dark Sparrow Book 4) This is the story of Liam Harker and Sister Catriona Walsh. The sinner and the nun. Yes, a nun!!! And their story was every bit as intriguing as you might imagine! I loved that this book also helps to build a bigger picture of the brothers and their on-going father issues.
–Dark Bastard (Dark Sparrow Book 5) Sam and Ellie’s story- OMG did I feel for those two. They have been through so much and I was so happy they found each other- but that’s not to say there weren’t a few anxious moments through the story. I could feel their sadness and the weight of their ‘burdens’. Sam was ready to end it all- but a misdialled number connects him with Ellie- and so the adventure began.
–King Bastard (Dark Sparrow Book 6) This was such a bittersweet read for me. Having read all the previous instalments, I truly connected with this band of brothers and looked forward to following each one as they got their own book. So, knowing this was the last book in the series was sad- I was sooo not ready to say goodbye…. But at the same time, I desperately wanted to know how things would finally play out, but more importantly, getting a front row seat to the ‘Oz’ show- and what a fantastic show it was!! Ms. Kells definitely had me completely engrossed in the story- I devoured the book in a couple of hours, just so I could find out what happens.
These books are so well written with lots of complexities, depth, and texture- which resulted in exciting and incredibly compelling stories. There was a lot of funny quips and banter too, which help to lighten and balance all the action, emotion, and highly charged moments that occur throughout the series. I love the way Ms. Kells develops her characters, they are all fantastic, and entirely interesting (even the baddies)- pulling me further and further into the story, and always leaving me with a desperate need to know what’s going to happen next. Ms. Kells creates quite brilliant, intricate, and suspenseful storylines which included lots of action, danger, deadly games of cat and mouse, perilous situations, evil masterminds, lots of secrets, difficult choices, shocking revelations, electrifying chemistry, plenty of sizzle… and so much more! I really recommend this Box Set, as I am sure you will love it just as much as I have. I can’t wait for Ms. Kells next release, whatever that may be! Happy Reading!

Brilliant box-set The whole series in one place. This is one not to be missed right up to the last book where dark and broody meets impulsive and snarky. I really enjoyed all their interactions. A roller coaster ride of events filled with high stakes emotions from the start to the bittersweet end. The author has done an exceptional job creating an intriguing and suspenseful series and keeping true to the characterisation throughout the whole series. Highly recommended.

This is a superb collection of stories. Great suspense and romance. Wonderful characters. I recommend the box set so you can binge read all of them. The only bad thing about it is when the reading adventure is over. Gotta love those book/series hangovers.
