Lazarus King, “The King Bastard,” cares about his family. There are five other brothers of his that he knows about. All he wants to do is keep them protected. In the first book of the Dark Sparrow box set, his father Jamieson Finch, has tried to kill King’s mother and he will do anything he can to make sure none of his brothers are harmed by the ruthless man.
This is where Deva comes in. The physical therapist who has her own secrets to hide. She is called in to look after one of Lazarus’s brothers, the “Lost Bastard,” Aleksei Voronov. She takes up at job at the gym that he works out at in order to keep a close eye on him.
This book is thrilling, entrapping, and sexy!
Book Two: Zoe, a former Department of State employee, is tasked with watching over the “Cold Bastard,” Archer Blackwood. She can speak a ton of different languages and is hired on as an interpreter at Blackwood Corporation. She is intrigued by this beautiful man from the first time she laid eyes on him. And her first couple of days working for him have been no walk in the park. Jamieson Finch, is once again, up to no good. This man is ruthless and will stop at nothing to get what he wants. Will Zoe be able to outsmart him, or will her life come crashing down?
This book is captivating.
Book Three: Isabel Osborne, the smart and beautiful businesswoman is tasked with finding out more information on Jamieson Finch. Little does she know that by agreeing to this job, a blast from her past is about to walk into her life again. Her best friend, Gabrielle Thorn, has no idea that this mission would stir up feelings in the blonde-haired business owner, just that Izzy is the perfect one for the job.
The “Wild Bastard” is not to messed with. Kai may look like just a scrumptious snack, always wearing a Hawaiian shirt, but he is also lethal. Will their relationship spark and burn for one another or will it simply fizzle out?
Book Four: The “True Bastard,” also known as Liam Harker, of Chicago Police Department was just trying to crack the code to Finch’s financials when he is blind-sided by Sister Catriona Walsh. Chewy, Liam’s furry best friend, is quick to become attached to the woman. She is great with numbers and said to be the perfect one to bring down Finch for good. Everything is going according to plan, until it isn’t. The Bastard Brothers are once again on a mission that could end up with someone dead.
Book Five: The “Dark Bastard,” Sam Sarkhan, is the most mysterious of his brothers. Only a few know of the dark past that he hides. Everything he has been through is almost too much, but in a twist of fate, a woman by the name of Ellie McLaren, a Chicago 911 dispatcher, pulls him out of the darkness he was drowning in. Once again, on the hunt for Finch, the lives of everyone involved are put on the line. Will the darkness swallow them all or will their evil father finally be stopped?
Book Six: The “King Bastard,” Lazarus King, the man who started this all and banded the brothers together. He will stop at nothing to end Finch, even if he loses himself in the process. He’s been through a lot and will do anything to keep his family and their loved ones safe. But in steps Doctor Sasha Landry. He’s dealt with her before but the fact that she stands up to him and challenges him anytime she can, doesn’t sit well for the bastard who must have control of everything. Finch is hiding and they must find him. Lazarus has become obsessed with hunting him. Will the obsession get someone he loves killed or will they succeed in taking Finch down?
This series is a must read. It kept me wanting more and I was not ready for it to be over!
