This was my first trip into Lexi Foss’ Omegaverse world and let’s just say, I have no desire to ever leave. Quinn and Kieran’s story reached all the right angles. Mystery, tension, angst, suspense, passion and redemption. I loved everything about it! Quinn, betrothed to Kieran, disappears suddenly leaving him to hold the responsibilities of the clan while he desperately searches for her. She has her “reasons,” of course. Despite her sassy, “I don’t need any help,” attitude, she finally realizes that Kieran has always wanted to be by her side, sharing her secrets, sharing her burdens, no matter what. Kieran is definitely book husband material and I loved everything about him. This was a great book and I can’t wait to read the next one!

This is the first time I have come across or read anything by this author so she is new to me. I enjoyed the flow of the story and her style of writing. Luciana is a cop with psychic & telepathic abilities. She’s put on a case to fund out who is behind taking the women that have recently gone missing. She is put undercover to work in a club where she meets her new boss, Overmaster Salvatore Descallia. She is being shown around the building by another worker when some masked men come to rob the place. She nearly loses her life but is saved by Salvatore. He himself is also trying to find out who is pulling the strings and kidnapping all these women. It gets especially critical when the mate of a master is taken. While trying to figure out a strategy for finding the missing women these two start to develop an attraction that cannot be ignored. It’s hard for Salvatore at first because he had a mate that he lost hundreds of years before. He didn’t think he would come to love anyone again. There is ancient text in the vampire lore that speaks of a woman who will be the salvation of the vampire race. Luciana fits the description to a tee. Could Luciana be that woman? Could she also possibly be his mate reincarnated?

I absolutely loved Jake and Lauren. I love that there was a little drama in this book, but it wasn’t constantly something trying to keep them apart. Lauren came from nothing with a gold digger for a mother, so when Jake and she are thrown together by friends she has reservations, and understandably so. She is sweet and down to earth and is petrified of being seen as a gold digger herself because of her mother. Jake never views her that way. Beautifully written story and I cannot wait to read the rest of this series!

All the books in this series have been great and this one is no exception. Master Romano is tasked with settling a long going fued between vampires and witches over some land. Raven is a witch who belongs to the coven involved in the fight for said land but in a plot twist she actually ends up helping the vampires. When the consulate comes to believe that Raven is a spy Romano is tasked with ending her. Even though they are on different sides of the fight he is captivated by Raven and has other plans. Will he stay true to his vampire brethren and do as he was ordered or take Raven as a mate?

This coming-of-age story is told through the eyes of 12 year old Michelle Naget, as the Germans march through France during WWII. The Naget family’s life is turned upside-down when they are forced to endure the Germans taking over their home and becoming servants to the enemy. I was hooked on this story from the beginning and couldn’t put the book down. The reader is shown what the family went through in the ravages of war without the explicit details, but lets us in to the emotional experience. The story is also brought to life knowing it is based off of the stories and French documents from Michelle Naget. It’s hard to imagine what it was like for the Naget family, but the author does a wonderful job bringing it to life for the reader. This is definitely a book you should read!

Having read the first three books in the Masters of the Consulate series, I could not wait to read Romano’s story. I would like to point out the series should be read in order for the best experience. Having recently discovered the treachery within their ranks the Masters of the Consulate are being overly suspicious of each other as well as cautious. Romano is aware the others fear he may be a traitor to their kind, but he is not just going to be an open book. He has given everything to them and is now feeling the sting of betrayal himself; still he is going to do what he can for his people. Raven is found sneaking onto Master Romano’s property, when confronted by Romano she disappears in to thin air, which signals she is a witch. Witches and vampires are suppose to be on opposites of a war however they are intrigued instead. As their relationship grows will the two be able to figure out a way to be together? What will they do if they must choice? Will they be able to go against everyone to have their happily ever after? Will they be able to protect those they care for yet keep each other? Romano’s story did not disappoint. I would recommend not only this story but the whole series. I can not wait to see what comes next.

Entertaining, Interesting, Heartbreaking Romance! In this modern day rewrite of the Cinderella tale the author takes us through the adventures Ashley has in outwitting her evil stepmother and step sisters. I enjoyed the twists in the plot and the strong character development. All in all this was a good book and is very clean so it is great for fairy tale lovers of all ages.

This was a very interesting book. A great continuation of the previous 3 books. I love how the characters flow through every book. Master Romano has lost trust of the Vampire Counsel. He is now out to prove himself innocent. Isala is in hiding and has to be found and this is Master Romano’s job to figure out with Lucas by his side babysitting him.
The Vampire and Witches have hated each other for decades. Now they are fighting over land they both believe they have a claim too. Tensions are super high with distrust and betrayal. Can a witch named Raven be the key to a solution? Read on and find out.

After reading Diabolical Sword, I was completely enthralled by this book. It fits perfectly, I’m so completely in love with this series already. Literally every supernatural creature that interests me is in this book. Kayda is feeling lonely because her best friend is on the run, Harlow is hiding to protect those he loves. Two separate stories intertwined.

When I decided to read this book, I was unaware that it was based on a true story. Learning that it was based on a true story made it more inspiring and impactful. When I read the description of the book what drew me in was that it was a different point of view during WWII. I love reading about WWII and Nazi Germany, and this book checked all those boxes. The author’s writing and descriptions provided me with a clear view of what it was like for Michelle and her family living in their home while it was occupied by the German soldiers during World War II and having to tiptoe around to keep many secrets hidden from the Nazis. It is unfortunate to learn that Michelle Naget had to learn many life lessons many years before she should have. The loss of her oldest brother to the war, her next oldest brother being shot, and constantly having to be worried she might become the object of a German soldier. This book is absolutely a must-read book.

This series is really good and I enjoyed this one as well. Romano and Raven’s story was really interesting and exciting. The story had some good suspense and fighting scenes as well as a really cool love connection. The book ended with a little bit of a cliffhanger making it hard to wait for the next book in the series. I enjoy this author and look forward to reading more from her.

I love discovering new writers, and I especially love discovering ones that will bring me back for more and that is just what Hazel Storm did with Remember to Forget Me. I know I won’t soon forget this wonderful second chance romance and the characters that captured my heart.
Addie and Wesley were once friends who shared a love of music and that friendship led to a teenage romance. However, their beginning was also their ending with a tragedy that almost led to Wesley’s death. Now, ten years later that romance might get a new beginning. This isn’t your normal second chance romance though. You see our leading man, Wesley, has no recollection of who Addie is. The only thing he remembers is the songs they wrote as teenagers, but he doesn’t remember that the songs that put him on the path to stardom were written with her. If the plot of this story sounds intriguing, it is.
I was drawn into their story from the very first pages. I loved the angst, and I loved the mysterious part of the book even more. Who almost killed him all those years ago, and why does Addie blame herself? I also kept dreading when he finally did regain his memory of that time and how it would affect their new relationship.
Not only was this an emotional romance, but it was also a story about hope, forgiveness, and second chances. It also delves into bullying, and what makes someone into a person that would hurt someone else. The answer is not always such a clear-cut one.
I fell in love with both Addie and Wesley, but I have to say Ash might tie for my favorite. What an intriguing character! I am hoping he will get his own book in the series! That will be an incredible read!
Hazel Storm isn’t just a writer, she is a storyteller. Her words are magical and lyrical, much like the songs that Addie and Wesley created together. I’m really looking forward to reading more of this series. She has found a new fan in me!

A fantastic read with great detail and character descriptions. This book is a funny and heartwarming read. You get the chance to witness a relationship that starts in a very unconventional way. You get to read how economic class can affect a person in a relationship.
This book follows Billionaire Jake and his quest to find a meaningful and lasting relationship. You also get to meet Lauren the intelligent assistant to an influential CEO. These two are from completely different worlds. One has hundreds of employees and a growing business. While the other lives paycheck to paycheck and has to have a roommate in order to make it.
This book is filled with a lot of fun-filled moments and spicy bits that will have you wanting some water. This book was the perfect balance of spicy and romance. You will fall in love with the characters and start to wonder about the lives of the ones closest to them. Cannot wait to read the next book in this series.

I absolutely adored this story! I hadn’t read the previous 2 stories, but I definitely plan to check them out. I was expecting the standard rom-com second love story line, but then the author threw a curve-ball with a fun fill mystery added in. I enjoyed how she shared the background of Marissa and Weston’s teenage romance and how things went sideways in smaller pieces, so it wasn’t all thrown at us all at once. The story was filled with humor, but when the main character owns a condom empire, the jokes pretty much write themselves. Throw in a few trips to a nudist colony a sassy parrot and you have the perfect mix for hilarity. I loved the story line and how the characters grow and come together. It’s definitely a great book to read if you are looking to escape reality for a bit and need some steamy romance, a ton of humor, a dash of mystery, and a happily ever after.

An action packed well written story about a girl who is accused of killing her friends by the police. The plot is amazing and kept my interest throughout the book. The characters are well written and you can feel the care the FBI agent Brenda Reynolds has for Angie. Jake (retired Marine and dog handler) and Cody (the therapy dog) are amazing in helping Angie start to return to life out of her catatonic state. They also helped Angie feel better and stronger to share what happened to her and her friends. I would recommend this book to anyone who loves a thriller.

WOW. This was phenomenal read. I couldn’t put it down!! The forbidden love is one of my favorites and the chemistry between Callie and Noah is unmatched! The story line kept me guessing and speculating the whole time.
The secrecy of their relationship was intrigued but then when the secret was out, the drama around everything was exactly what I had been waiting for the whole story!
I highly recommend this one and can’t wait for Zane’s story to come out next!

I do not have the words to describe how this story made me feel. While this is not typically a genre that I tend to follow, I just simply could not ignore the beautiful cover, and the synopsis of this book. This story was a difficult one to read based on the story subject itself, however it is a beautiful story. The research that this terrific author did as well as the I interviews had to have been very detailed and perfect to make this story come to life. I personally can only imagine how difficult it must of have been to share this story, but I am so glad that an author took their time to do all the research necessary to get this wonderful story into the world.

The Letter Carrier by L.C. Lewis is a masterfully written piece of historical fiction. The fact that the author took so much time to capture these intricate details shines through from the very first page. Although this is a fictional story, she is clearly passionate about her writing and story being precise to reflect the time. Her writing and descriptions provided me a clear view of what it was like for Michelle and her family living in their home while it was occupied by the German soldiers during World War II, and having to tiptoe around to keep many secrets hidden from the Nazi’s. Many emotions flooded me throughout my time reading it, and even now I catch myself still reflecting upon it. I’d like to say thank you to the author for taking some much time and care transcribing this beautiful story. I will most certainly recommend to my historical fan friends and keep an eye out for more books by her.

This is the fourth book in this terrific and thrilling series and it is every bit as good as the last. When I first stumbled upon the series and it’s wonderful author it was a total accident and I read them out of order. However when I first picked up book two and saw its beautiful cover and read it’s synopsis I knew right away I would be hooked. After devouring the first 3 I anxiously awaited book four and devoured it as soon as it hit my kindle. The cover is just as beautiful as the previous books, and the storyline is once again filled with action, drama, romance, and of course some suspense. This series has quickly become one of my favorites since I discovered it last year, but book four is by far my favorite. The characters are amazing, the word building is out of this world, and I simply can’t wait to see what we get next.

This book is a modern day retelling of Cinderella! We start in a court of fairies discussing a love life that must be fixed! And then we are immediately met with Ashley. She lives with her terrible stepmother and step sisters in a local mortuary.
Ashley is struggling through friendships in highschool with her best friend Laura. They hear of a pop star and his friend serving out some community service in their school. Although Laura is excited for it. Ashley not so much. How great can Harry and George be anyways?!
This was a wonderful young adult read and it was a super adorable time! And the end?!? You just gotta pick this up

I love this series so much! This author has a beautiful way of writing and taking you for a ride. I felt so many emotions while reading this book. Happy, excited, mad, and sad in a short time. I definitely read these books out of order, but this book was just as good as book two and three. When I first discovered this series I had no idea who this wonderful author was or how quickly I would devour her books. While this is a series each book can be read as a stand alone, however the series is so great that trust me you won’t won’t to stop at one. The plot was original, full of action and romance, and of course plenty of twists to keep you interested. Do if your looking for a great new story pick this one up today.

Okay. This was really cute! I loved getting introduced to the handsome bachelors and seeing a tidbit of all their personality’s. I really loved getting to know Jake though- he had such a sweet side and there were so many highlight-able moments! (I’m one of those weirdos that highlights and leaves comments when I read.) Lauren was pretty fabulous to read too- it’s just that Jake stole my heart! I love how committed he was to finding true romance- not just something easy. Also- the place where they first meet? This was a great read! It was emotional and inspiring. Finding out everything was based off of real experiences just made it more impactful. I’m very glad I picked this book up. I think this is a book everyone should read. One thing I enjoyed is the different perspective. A lot of World War Two memoirs and stories focus on the jews and this one was focused on France. Which was a different take than what I’m used to and I’m grateful for because sometimes it is easy to forget that other people were just as impacted by the war, just in different ways. Kudos to the author for this riveting tale. I can’t wait to read more from her in the future!

Now we are on to the fourth book of this series! Master Romano is part of the list where the Masters are trying to see who they can actually trust. He’s having to prove that trust with letting them come to his home and watch everything he does. Meanwhile, some nice looking witch, Raven, is watching Romano’s property. She ends up helping the vampires. Of course we have smexy times, drama, and more story plots. This Author is seriously one of my favorites due to this series!!! Ready for the next book!!!

Ashes (Modern-Day Fairy Tale Book 1) by MK Harkins – Review by Jessica Stone
This book is a modern take on Cinderella, and wonderfully done in my opinion. With out giving away to much Ashes, is about a young girl named Ashley(ironically enough) who if forced into serving her wicked step mom and step sisters and work in her stepmothers recently acquired mortuary after her fathers recent death. Harry is a handsome and troublesome bad boy musician who is being forced to attend her school after getting into some legal trouble and this is where their worlds collide. It is a classic, she doesn’t want anything to do with him, and he wants no one’s attention but hers, which she obviously won’t give to him, everyone is fighting to keep them apart troupe.
Ashley is strong independent and snarky and hilarious trying to navigate losing her father who was her world, and Harry is a bad boy rockstar, who may have a strong exterior but inside he’s fighting his own battles.
All and all very well written, I always find quick witty banter between characters to be refreshing, it helps for me to fall in love with them. The author did a wonderful job in bringing just enough information about each character (including the side characters AND villains) to build the story but not make it feel like an overload of unneeded information. I believe this book can be read as a standalone but I’m hoping for more in this series, for me it was a quick read but that’s because once I started, I couldn’t stop. So if you’re looking for a good, YA, Cinderella, modern day retelling give this book a read, you won’t be disappointed.
