This is such a fun read. With great characters, especially the main characters Marissa and Weston, and an intriguing storyline that keeps you captivated from start to finish this is definitely a book you don’t want to miss. I was introduced to Toni’s work when reading Out of Time and I enjoyed her writing.
Jake is the first book in the Billionaire Blind Dates series. Toni has given a different spin on the usual Billionaire tropes. A novel idea of having to rely on other senses getting to know someone makes this one interesting read.
Jake wants someone to want him for him not how many 0.00’s he has. Lauren has lumped all rich men in the same category and money isn’t everything.
A blind date might just be what changes ideas, wants and misconceptions in this steamy romantic adventure. It is easy for the pages to keep turning and keeping you intrigued wanting to know how it all turns out I enjoyed the easy banter between the friendships of the male characters. You will definitely enjoy it.
I look forward to reading about the other four friends in their own books.

Imagine sitting at the beach with a cocktail in hand and a good book in the other well that is exactly what Tropical Date is.
I love a good RomCom and that is just what RS has given us. She is a new author to me and one I look forward to reading more of. This is the third book in this series but I have read it as a standalone and I didn’t feel like I was missing out. I will however be going back to read the others.
Tropical date is fun and full of all the things I enjoy in a romantic comedy. I mean my sense of humour had me laughing when a girl was hit by a bus in Bad Girls.
There is nothing straight forward on the road to love especially when there is a past between them which makes for some delightful barbs and puns.
With a beautiful tropical setting, delightful wit, lots banter, a condom company and a nudist colony I couldn’t help but laugh out loud. The delightful humour, wit and banter infused throughout this adventure added with a tad of mystery and a dab of danger there is something to delight your senses.

This book truly topped the WOW factor! I love a good action thriller, but this one really blew my expectations really! The book was a quick read, and not a dull moment in my reading! I was highly invested!
Tegan Stone was wonderful female lead characters. I admired her ability to be strong, touch, and intelligent as she was, She had that never give up attitude. I loved how she handled her mission, and what shocked me was leading to the end, where her mission led to questions that made it difficult to complete her mission for what it was. I loved the writing style of the author, how they created a quick fast read that was amazing from start to finish! I could not put this down to the end! The suspense was too much to stop! Loved it!
The book was amazing and pumped full of action and suspense that I did not hesitate to love! I cannot wait to read more by this author and partake in Tegan’s adventures! Highly recommend this must read!!

I found this to be the sweetest billionaire romance. Our heroine is a sweet working girl. She’s just trying to get ahead. The sister of her boss hooks her up on a blind date with his billionaire friend. The whole “blind date” restaurant concept, what a crappy way to have a date. These two were pretty good sports. I found their chemistry charming and entertaining. He doesn’t want gold diggers and she doesn’t want to be viewed as one. They have some issues to work out. The tone of the story is contemporary and very engaging. I couldn’t put the story down. I’m looking forward to reading the series. Great romance that I recommend.

The twists and turns that this book takes you on aren’t brought on by suspense or mystery but are more emotional than anything else. What happens when the leading female swears she will not date anyone who has money but her friend has another idea. When the leading male starts to let his friends know that he just hasn’t had any luck dating, his friends suggest he go on 4 blind dates and they all come to the agreement that if all his dates go horribly wrong they will let him be. However what both leads don’t know is that their fiends have set them up together and their first date doesn’t go smashingly well at first they do seem to have a connection. What happens when they find out they were set up by their friends? What happens when she learns he has money? What happens when she discovers that not only does he have money but he also draws attention from the media? This book is really well written and was very easy to read. I felt like the characters are completely relatable. I can’t wait to read the upcoming books in this series to see what happens with this friend group. If you have never read a book where you just feel like the characters are your besties, this one will do that for you.

I have been reading this book since the first book came out, and each time I am swooning in my own way literally! I can never get enough of these deep in depth characters or those steamy moments that impact my entire kindle screen! The author is certainly talented at making this series come to life!
I enjoyed this book with every part of my soul! The characters in this one were deep as they can go as always, the romance was steamy. The suspense was shocking at times, and kept you on the edge of your seat! I loved how things went with this book not in the ordinary sense. Everything was a risk it seemed, and to take it, meant putting everything on the line. As per usual, this book was impossible to put down. The story was different compared to others, and I was very much intrigued! Freaking loved this book!
The entire series is a must read for sure! I loved this book as a independent installment for all it was. The author has an amazing writing style! Highly recommend it all around! A must read with no doubt!

Oh my heavens, this is quite an entertaining romantic comedy. Winston and Marissa are a couple that grew up together and dated. They broke up and ended up together again, due to circumstances beyond their control. Winston has come home again to help his mom. Marissa is in a tizzy thinking it’s all about her. The adventures are many. They help solve a mystery. I love the humor in this. I love a good romcom. The humor, romance and a touch of mystery make the plot very entertaining. I found myself intrigued and wanting to keep reading. I loved the characters and how relatable they are. What a fun story. I will be looking for more from this author.

I really enjoyed the introduction to this book as it is very quiet and I really like her character as she is very feisty. She’s only one out her for friend who has escaped from the horror as she watched other friends being murdered. Having a cop say they think you murder your mate wow she doesn’t know where she stands. This is the first non romance book I’ve read in a VERY LONG time. And it is now in my top 5 reads for 2022. The research, time and care that went into writing this book resonates through every line. What was extra special about this book was that it’s a story not really told. We mostly hear about what the Jewish community went through during WWll, and easily forget that other countries were kept captives in their own homes. Michelle’s story is something really special and extremely eye opening. The way that her faith carried her through this trying time is something I will always remember.
This is a must read for any Historical Fiction Fan!!

I have always said that as long as one person finds a little bit of happiness out of my books, I am, in my opinion, an accomplished author. The same is true for every writer out there. Please don’t ever let anyone tell you different.

After reading the first book, I was hoping to get more answers to my questions and see more character development. For Imani, I was not as attached as I was in the first book. In this one, she became a little annoying and somewhat overwhelming with her mixed signals and the consistent stress she portrayed throughout the book. It’s not that I did not like her storyline, but that I had hoped for a more mature, experience-driven arc for her instead of high maintenance and incredibly flighty with her emotions. Imani was a little too hot-cold for me which caused me some anxiety to continue reading about her. I would also like to have seen more of a story between Lance and Melody. I saw some with them individually, but I felt like Lance should have been given his time to learn how to focus on his “girls” and less on gratifying his other less appropriate natures. Overall I liked this book. It takes me back to senior year in high school when I watched the popular kids’ life unfold in front of me and shake my head at the bad decisions and toxic breakups and broken hearts(I was the outcast and nerd in my school). This gave me all the feelings of high school love and naive romance. The tragic loss of Melody hit me hard and had me set the book aside to calm my nerves. As ever the graphic scenes, the trigger warnings, and the intense emotions these characters experienced made me fall in love with them and become incredibly frustrating. So, though I yearn for a more developed storyline from the characters, I also cannot wait to read the next one. This book was that frustrating and that good. I definitely recommend it.

Here is a story that took me way out of this world as soon as I opened the book! I find that my fave books start like right in the thick of things…not a whole lot of explanation, but the story builds and in chapter 2 you find out what’s really going on! Jester is a book that follows a young lady who is in her mind within reach of this grand title. She understands heavily that her competition is annoying, yet excites her, even though he always seems to be winning. Watching how she almost matures during this process makes the story so relatable in terms of emotions and how to deal with them! I love this book and I look forward to more from the author!

This book starts off with a focus on three friends. The three of them meet and instantly form an insta-love, insta-friendship. Melody is purely romantic at heart and believes in the whole “love at first sight” type of fairytale. This ironically takes up most of the book as she falls for Kevin. Lance is the Jock and wants to go Pro to the NFL, and Imani is loyal and friendly, and always quick with witty banter. The Colors of Friendship is about friendship, and the journey to discovering themselves. There are some harsh themes, like abuse, and graphic erotic scenes. However, this did not deter me. Instead, though some of the language and storyline were harsh, it also added to the grit of the story and added to the character development. I am glad there is a 2nd and 3rd book because this book left me feeling as if the story of the 3 friends is not finished. Almost underdeveloped. I was intrigued and very convinced to keep reading. There were a few hangups for me, mainly because of how naive Melody could be, especially being in college. But somehow that just made the story better in some ways. definitely worth the read.

To say that Bake Happy is the perfect ending to Cat’s story is a bittersweet feeling for me. I continued to read and watch as Cat develop from this young girl to a young lady all through baking her heart into everything and a little of her Granny’s secrets. This book had me so crazily reading every word just to get to the end. I kept waiting for more and wanting to learn and bake just as Cat had! This character Arc and storyline had me completely thrown through a loop. One minute I was laughing, the next I was crying, the next I was happily munching on cookies (yes, I tried a recipe), happily flipping to the next page.
Cat Anderson is a sweet, kind, albeit sometimes very much an annoying teen, type of person. However, none of that deters her from loathing Nate. But when Cat and Nate are thrown together, by fate or baking (who knows), making wishes and hoping for something else both tie them together and draw them apart down. The suspense killed me. The ever-present giggly, quirky Cat turned more into a young lady and pleasantly surprised me more times than I can count.
I love how they deep-dive into emotion. Cat and her family, each person in their own way, walk through a plethora of emotions that are guiding and helping them figure out the morale behind baking emotions into their food. They really consider seriously every emotion and carefully extrapolate each one into the most delicious food. Sometimes for the better, some for the worse.
I like how Cat walks us through her journey and learns the differences between emotions.
I also really loved all the added recipes in this series. It’s a nice homey touch and it feels like I’m being let in on family secrets.
So much more perfect for this story.
I loved this series and recommend it to anyone who needs a good laugh, a good cry, and a good family story.

The Prisoner of Paradise is the first book in the Painted Souls series by Rob Samborn. This was such an engrossing read and had me flipping the pages to find out what would happen next. I was so immersed in the story that I ended up staying up well past by bedtime, reading the entire thing in one sitting. It is such a well-written, gripping and vividly woven story- full of action, adventure, historical details, twists and turns, secrets, lies, danger, suspense, secret sects, intrigue, past lives, tension, soulmates, complexity, interesting characters, dramatic developments, mystery, and a famous painting that that is so much more than it seems. Nick and Julia O’Connor embark on a trip of a lifetime, to explore the wonders of Venice- but little do they know how this trip would turn their world upside down, and how a famous painting would expose them to a centuries old mystery… leading them to mind-boggling discoveries, and dangers they never could have imagined. This may be the written word, but it reads in such a way that the words become quite vividly visual- bringing the whole story to life before my eyes. I was there, right alongside the characters, experiencing everything as it unfolded. Mr. Samborn in a masterful storyteller who delivers a really exciting story. I enjoyed this book immensely and can see that it would make a fantastic movie too. Bring on ‘Painter of the Damned’ (Book #2), can’t wait! Happy Reading!

Just like the first book in this series, I was enamored. This cleverly written story brings you into the day and life of an average girl with a special gift. As I was reading I fell in love with Cat and her family and was totally immersed in the family drama, teen angst, and magical fun that comes from Bake-off. This is definitely a great sequel to the first and I can’t wait to read the next one. I also happened to try a recipe or two while reading it. Totally recommend.
