Just loved this one too! I have grown to love this little guy and his relationship with his grandfather. This book is easy to read to children, great adventure and will catch their attention. Looking forward to reading more from this author. Recommend to all reader young and old. Great way to connect the older generation to the younger one.

This is the 3rd book in the series by India Kells. While it works just fine as a standalone, you can tell that there is more backstory between Gage and his friends. That doesn’t mean you can’t read this book by itself; however, if you want all the backstory, I would recommend that you read the first two books in the series. Gage is your typical bad boy with a tragic backstory who has the heart of an angel. Juliet and Ten are two down on their luck roommates who turn to the seedy underground of cage fighting to try and get by. Gage steps in to help Ten and all three end up in a bad situation, making enemies of a powerful boss in the fighting world. Gage offers to help Juliet and Ten by providing them a place to live and training Ten for the upcoming fight. As you can imagine, things get *spicy*. This is a MMF story and the sexy scenes are steamy. I love how the author incorporates each characters’ feelings into the scenes and the readers really get to see what the characters are thinking and their inner turmoil. I like Kells descriptive writing; however, I felt that some of the plot was forced, or at the very least, not fully developed. This could also be because I haven’t read the first two books. Overall, I really enjoyed my first book by India Kells.

At the start, I really enjoyed the story. It was mysterious, steamy and complex. The spice catches you off guard at times, and these characters are BOLD! I didn’t want to put it down! As the story progressed, the plot intensified, and stakes were raised. Once the plot ramps up, the resolution happens so fast. The story that initially had me refusing to set the book down was resolved too quickly, leaving me slightly disappointed and wanting more. I would have liked to have more time exploring the tension in the romance, and the interactions between the characters to really feel intimately connected to their struggles and drama. The epilogue also was tied up with a pretty bow. It was a great story, if too short. This is the first I read in this series, but it was easy to keep up with, which leaves me to think that it could be read as a stand alone. There is definitely some background information in the other books as far as some of the side characters and their history with the main character. I will definitely be looking up the previous books to see what that history is about. If you are looking for something steamy, action packed, and high stakes, give this one a try.

The bonds between grandparents are super special and Caspian is no exception! It’s his un-birthday and he gets not one, but two, special gifts!! The first is a hat that once belonged to his grandpa. The other is a very uniquely shaped stone. Caspian learns really quickly that when he’s wearing the hat, he can hear the thoughts of others in their own voices! The rock gives him great ideas and helps him to solve problems.
What I wouldn’t give for a hat like Caspian’s! That would make life interesting for sure!
This is a super cute book and I wish I had a little one to read it with. This book would be enjoyable for those early readers. The illustrations are very bright and vibrant. The story is one that children would be able to easily enjoy.

I loved this short but sweet picture book about Caspian and his adventure and think it would be perfect for children aged 4-8.

Thorfin and the witches curse. At the begining of the book it gives you a map that you can refer back to. As you will need it as you read the book. It also gives you a character table at the very end of the book which is helpful so you know who is who and what relationships they have and the ties they have to each land in the book. This tale is set in the 800’s Viking era. It makes you feel like you are right there with these characters. It has action, suspense, mystery, and magic all tangled into each other. This story is so gripping you’ll never want to put it down. Thorfin is our main character, along with Karl and you follow them through this amazing journey.

When Gage finds Ten is over his head in the fighting, he comes to the rescue. Things at this point start changing and the story takes off. That is all I can tell you. You need to read the story to find out more. This story is fast paced and has some hot steamy romances going on. I love this author as well as her stories. She never disappoints and her characters don’t either. This romance is well written and will make you want to read more in this series.

This was a sweet, and wonderful children’s story that I got to be very much engaged in as I read! I found the story was beautiful wit h its illustrations as well as cute in how the story went and that the story flowed very nicely. Caspian was a wonderful character who was sweet, and very relatable I found. I enjoyed his adventure with the mind reading hat, and how he was able to listen in on conversations that he did! The story was wonderfully done, and was a perfectly written children’s book. Highly enjoyable and I highly recommend!

I love how the author made this world. I was sucked in and couldn’t get enough! I love this genre so so much and was not disappointed with this one. This is a great collection of stories by some great authors. The paranormal story I enjoyed reading was Witch Stich. This is a well written story that brings paranormal ride to a new level. This is a newer author for me which I enjoyed her writing skills as well as her attention to details. Her characters are connectable and creative. I enjoyed how they pulled me into the story from the start. They made the story engaging and I read their story in one sitting. They are supportive of each other and took me on a paranormal adventure that had me coming back for more. I really enjoyed this story and the realistic feel it has. You don’t want to miss the magic and the twists and turns that made this story entertaining to read. I highly recommend this book.

I read Witch Switch by Louisa Bacio in this anthology. This book was intriguing. Love, mystery, revenge…toss in hidden powers, unknown siblings and losing yourself and having to refind yourself, you have the makings of a good tale. This is a novella but the author didn’t quite leave us hanging. It is the start of a series. HOORAY! I can’t wait to read more. This was like a bad fairytale that you can root for good to win. Rafe, Cheyenne, and Jupiter can kick butt with the best of them. I loved the fact that Cheyenne and Jupiter are strong and can basically do things on their own (together-sister power), there’s another sister later in the story. The characters have strong personalities. Meredith may have evil powers yet she’s pretty much a spoiled brat not getting her way. The plot had a really good flow. The story wasn’t choppy. My favorite part was the scene in the forest. The whole tone of the story kept you on the edge of your seat. It’s a very romantic tale with some spice scattered throughout so there’s a little of everything for everyone (if you love romance). I think you need to buy this book and check it out. It’s a new favorite for me.

This is a Viking tale that will have you following along wanting to know what happens on the next page. You follow along the travels of Thorfinns family as they irritate a witch who places a curse on the family. Thorfinn may be the only one who can break it. The action is there. It is a little wordy but that is because it’s based on Viking times and land area. I found it fascinating to follow. The people and the land sound so amazing, intriguing and mysterious. I follow everything Viking, whether on TV or book, and this is one of my new favorites.

So at first I couldn’t get into it because I hadn’t read other books but then I finally caught on. Rowena treats everybody equally regardless of species human or vampire or other being. Rowena and Vincenzo have a deep relationship even though Luka is in love with her. Rowena ends up heartbroken because of Luka’s incident with Vincenzo. I would love to say what comes next for Rowena.

Wow! This was a great story!! It started off a bit slow but picks up about midway through. There is so many twists and turns that kept my interest. There were some evenings, I couldn’t put the book down because I had to know what was next. It also intrigued me that the story is set in more recent times. Hearing Josie talk about the beginning stages of the pandemic and the fear for her family that came with it was relatable.

I really liked the strong heroine who showed that you can have a kind heart and be tough as well. The writing style and plot both flowed nicely.

This was a fast paced read! It was a hard one to put down. It’s the third one in the series but just as much as the others, it is enjoyable! You could read it as a standalone but Gage is a character from each book and you will want to follow his story. There is lots of spice and action. Highly recommend giving this one a read!

I loved listening to this audio! This is part of the Satan’s Devils MC series which if you haven’t listened to any stories in this series I highly suggest doing so. It is a fast paced story that took me on a roller coaster ride of emotions. I enjoyed how the narrator brought the story to life with the different tones of voice. They made the story easy to listen to and had me coming back for more. Heart has lost his wife, his soulmate and now he is on a road of destruction. He is a broken man. When the cop who is investigating his wife’s murder calls, things could change for him. Can a cop and a biker be friends? I highly recommend this audio. You don’t want to miss what happens in this story.

This book is exciting and full of fantastical adventure. Chloe is up against time. Somehow, people in her town are turning up with scarpus, which is affecting her baby sister, Grace, also. Quintus, is an annoying fae come to bug her to come back to Faerie to save them from the mortals attacking. Her older sister, Elora, has been captured. What a predicament! What shall she do? The adventures abound for Chloe and those around her. She must make tough decisions. She is strong and courageous young woman. I love how she is not afraid to put Quintus in his place. She stands up for family. She tries to do what’s right. The other characters are well-developed. Grace’s personality fit her to a T. Her description just matched how she moved through the story. Quintus reminded me of a chauvenistic male. The plot had really good flow. For adventures flowing from the beginning, there was no real choppiness. Toss in a few twists and you really have a terrific story. I found this book fascinating and I’m looking forward to reading more.

I enjoyed reading this collection of historical stories. This is my first book by this author in which I look forward to reading more from them. This is a well written collection of three stories that will show you worlds of gods, monsters and just life struggles. They will take you on an adventure. They are engaging stories that have great characters. They are engaging and keep you coming back for more. Each story is unique in its own way and easy to read. I really enjoyed reading this book and I highly recommend it.
I enjoyed this suspenseful story. It is a story where one secret is big but someone else has a bigger secret. What they have in common is that they both could end up in death. What will happen when these two characters, Avery and Luys, team up? Someone is not who they say they are which makes things even more dangerous. This is a great story that is hard to put down. The characters pull you in from the beginning and keep me engaged to the end. They are strong, supportive towards each other and relatable. I really enjoyed what they brought to the story. They have great growth throughout the story which made the story easy to read. This is a story that is full of suspense and action. The twists and turns had me sitting on the edge of my seat just waiting to see what happened next, they had me coming back for more. This is a great story that I highly recommend. You don’t want to miss an enjoyable suspense story.

The Night Has Ended is Book 5 in the Vampire State Series. Rowena’s fate is hanging in the balance as she struggles to keep a dark secret to herself. She finds herself often doubled over in pain and battling frequent seizures as her transformation continues. Rowena cannot let the pain slow her down because the Empire is in chaos and the fate of the human population of Sanguinia is precarious at best. Sanguinia is in desperate need of a new Emperor and Rowena has a plan, but will anyone listen to her or go along with her plan?
The story was well written, the characters were relatable and the world of Sanguinia was described so vividly that I felt as though I was there. I loved the character of Rowena and found her strength and courage in the pursuit of her plan to be admirable. She never allowed anyone or anything to get in her way or stop her from pursuing her plan. I found the character of Vincenzo to be smart, determined and it was obvious that he loved Rowena and would do anything for her. Luka was a character that you love to hate. He is bloodthirsty and angry at the world for how his life has turned out. Luka chooses to lash out at everyone and is determined to kill anyone he feels is responsible for his bad fortune. Although you can understand his pain and empathize with him, his behavior as a result seems unforgivable. This story put a new spin on the battle between vampires and humans. It is full of action, danger, politics, violence, suspense, and secrets. It leads to a conclusion that takes a twist the reader does not see coming. This book is a must read for anyone that loves a good vampire story!

Historical coming of age fiction A wonderful journey with relatable characters and exceptional world building. This book is based in the 1940s and follows Margaret as she grows from a teenager to a young woman. Politics, war, inequality, affairs and death this story covers it all. Highly emotional and thought-provoking, I was quickly swept along for the ride. The author has delivered an exceptional story.
