This novel was hot hot hot! And I don’t mean because it was set in Hawaii. Disgraced Hollywood film star Claudia goes on location to Hawaii to film a low budget soap and in search of a past love. However, she gets more than she bargains for when she meets the rugged and daring stuntman, Henry. This is a raunchy, steamy love story. Claudia reminded me of Marilyn Monroe with her bombshell looks and 60s glamour. This is a perfect Summer read!

Revelations (Separate Worlds #1) by Izzibella Beau
This is the first book I’ve read by Beau. Revelations had me hanging on the edge of my seat. This wonderful page turner will leave you wanting more.

The quote I chose for Emily is: “Aunt Maureen would like you to come over this weekend, I think Sunday. She wants to have some type of group talk and would like you to be there.”
Zach is a wolf. He and his two brothers are future Alphas. When his brother, his best friend and himself find their mates he wonders what’s going on. The quote I chose for Zach is: “I haven’t seen him. He came in yesterday evening, but I didn’t get a chance to speak with him. Why?”
SO, you’ve read the blurb and you know that this is the first book in a trilogy and it leaves you with a cliffhanger, so why are you so stupid as to wonder what the hell happened at the end of the book when you didn’t get a nice lovely happily ever after? Yeah, that silly sod was me reading Seductive Prey by Vivian Fiano. Arghhhhh I want book 2 now! I absolutely loved Seductive Prey. It had me totally hooked on the story from the very beginning and had still got me firmly in it’s grip and I want to know what’s happening next with Grant Summers and Jordan Smith. Jordan and Grant are both amazing characters and I really can’t wait to learn more about them. I completely fell in love with both characters during this book. This book has got a bit of everything that I love in a book. You’ve got some hot sizzling romance, added with danger, intrigue and mystery that keeps you turning page after page after page. I think I’ve changed my mind about 4 times as to who Jordan’s stalker is and knowing my awful powers of working out where an author is taking a story it’s likely to be none of them. Definitely worth the 5 stars I’ve given it!
This thriller was AMAZING! Seriously, it was unlike any other thriller I have ever read. The author did an amazing job with the plot twists that kept me on the edge of my seat trying to figure it out. I was so engrossed in this book that I didn’t want to put it down. In fact, I stayed up almost all night to finish it and gosh was I floored by the turns that it took and the ending. My theories kept changing but I wasn’t ready for the ending that she knocked me out with. I think the writer did a wonderful job piecing the story together to fill it with not only suspense, but great deception as well. The characters were great, and it was exceptionally well written. This was the first book I have read from this author, but I am looking forward to reading more by her. Don’t pass up your chance to read a really great book in this thriller.

TRIGGER WARNING. This series has content that is not suitable for people dealing with certain traumas. SJ Molloy is an extremely talented author, and her descriptive writing truly makes you feel as though you can see the characters come to life. This series is not what I expected, however. I will admit that I was a bit put off that the relationship between the two MCs developed as quickly as it did because it seemed unrealistic. Someone who dealt with the level of abuse that Lexi did would likely not put her faith and trust into someone so quickly. I was, however, enamored with the love story itself – even if I wish it had been more of a slow-burn. The first book was a bit rushed in my opinion as far as the timeline goes, but the second book seemed to make up for some of that. It was slower going and allowed a deeper delve into the families and friends that surround both Lexi and Lucca. The third book, written in the POV of Lucca, was a welcome change of pace. It was interesting to see things unravel from his perspective and to shine a bit of light (wink) on things that did not make sense from Lexi’s POV. All in all, it was a good read and I am glad to have been introduced to this writer.
I listened to the audiobook version of this one. This good was a great quick listen. I liked the Max character and his quiet strength and the way it was written definitely kept me wanting to know more about him. I have to admit I wasn’t a fan of the character name Lonnie, because in my head that is a guy’s name, but that’s just me. Lonnie herself was a great balance of strong yet amenable. I wanted to know more about the plan the uncle had for her and why he chose this particular set of tasks for her. It was really a great listen and totally recommend this book!

This series is killing me!! No seriously…It has jumped out of the book world to rock my world. I will start by saying, do not try to read these out of order. I have read them all and made notes so I could be ready for the next and it still takes me a bit to fall back in again. There are a lot of moving parts and remembering bits and pieces from the previous books is a must for understanding. I both want the series to end and not want the series to end if that makes sense. I want it to end so I can line them up and read them all again back to back…It is THAT GOOD!
This one was a bit more intense than the others and that is because things are coming to an end, I can feel it. I’ve quit trying to predict because this author has taken everything I thought and thrown it out the window, I love this and love that I have no flipping idea where she is going. I truly threw my kindle when I finished this one, as I’ve done with a couple of the others.
This is an awesome, fantastic, brilliant series, unlike anything I’ve ever read and I can not even wait for the next.
Not even going to try to sum it all up, don’t trust myself and don’t want to ruin anything for anyone else.

I loved listening to this audio. This is my first audio book for this author and I look forward to listening to more. I was pulled into the story by the narrator and what their tone of voice brought to each character. It is entertaining to listen to which made it easy to want to know what happened next. This is a story about how one event can change everything for you and not only that but your past comes crashing into the present. I loved listening to Valerie and Flynn’s growth and how much chemistry they have together. I highly recommend this audible and this author.

This book was great! This isn’t my first book by this author but it is my first audio by her! I was pulled in from the beginning and was kept interested throughout all of the story. Stone and Adeline were great main characters because they were very likable and relatable. I was able to listen to this audio while I traveled back home and it made the trip fly by. I love when a book/audio makes me lose track of time because that means it was good! I really liked this narrator. Her voice was nice and light. I would love to listen to more voiced by her in the future as well as read/listen to more by this author too! I would recommend this to anyone that is looking for a sweet romance to pass the time with! Happy Listening!

Naomi definitely has writing complex stories down to a science. This story was not a disappointment. Lark and Jaru have a interesting relationship and it’s best learned from previous books. Jaru feels he isn’t enough for Lark. The way Jaru talks about himself is just sad. The fact that he loves Lark but doesn’t feel worthy broke my heart. I was ready to slap him for suggesting Lark hook up with his bodyguard. Like bro nooo. The relationships are beautiful and complicated. But you can feel how they really feel for each other through the pages. Soren is one of my favorite characters and the relationship between Soren, Lark and Jaru is awesome. Definitely give this series a try but in order lol.

My Sweet GI AUDIO BOOK by T.L Wainwright was such a heart wrenching listen. I love a good historical romance but I have not listened to one so close to the current time. I felt so much for Jenny, she was a smart and intuitive character. There were so many twists and turns, I was pulled in. I loved the narrator, she had such a gentle voice and tone that went perfectly with the story. I have not been so enamored with a romance story, it hit my heart the way The Notebook did.

It was nice having the first three books in the series so I could continue on without having to wait. I do have to say that the first book was a bit slow for me in the beginning but I eventually got pulled right in.
Lexi has a terrible and scary past that she continues to have nightmares over. She is moving forward with her life and getting her new office set up before she goes on holiday. This is when she meets Lucca for the first time. There is something about him that ignites some different feelings in her. When she runs into him again while on holiday things take an interesting twist.
Overall this was a great read that leaves us with a heck of a cliff hanger leading into book 4. We get several hot and steamy moments. All of the characters added a great element to the story. I will warn there are some dark moments that could cause triggers for some. If you like dark reads this is a great series for you to read. I can’t wait to get my hands on book four.
The Luminara Series (Boxset Books 1-3) by SJ Molloy was a great read! This series was dark, full of suspense, drama, romance and drama. This was an enthralling series that had me on the edge of my seat wanting more. It was so easy to get lost in the scenery and imagery in this series I felt like I was right there where the characters were located. My only complaint for this series was all the sex scenes. I feel like they made the story drag on, and that without some of them you wouldn’t get as lost in the story. Or at least I felt like I kept getting lost from all the sex scenes. Besides that if you’re interested in a dark, sexy romance, this series is for you! This series definitely contains content for ages 18+.
I loved the steamy scenes in this book. I fell hard for Claudia and Henry and was rooting for him the entire time. My heart broke when theirs broke. When they were happy I was happy. the small authors notes threw me off for a second. I knew they were there to explain, but i felt like it was unnecessary.

I give On Viking Seas (Forerunner Series Book 3) by Jay Veloso Batista, 5 stars.
This was such a great epic fantasy book! It put me in mind of A Song of Ice and Fire series. Set in a time when the old gods were still strong and Christianity was still trying to gain a foothold, this is such a wonderful time period to read about. The settings are incredible, as are the characters. We are constantly going back and forth between different storylines and this keeps it quite interesting. You really want to now what happens next, then bam! We are left hanging on the edge of our seat. Then it happens all over again with the next main character. And don’t forget the story itself. There are so many things going on and the author makes every single one of them so engrossing. I could not put this book down. I did not want to stop even to make dinner. There is such detail and emotion in this book, it’s absolutely incredible.
If you are a fan of epic fantasy, I highly recommend this book.

This is the first book in The Relentless Trilogy series. This is a Romantic Military Suspense novel and is 255 pages. This story is meant for 18+. This story follows Grant, a LEO in Boston, and Jordan who is in the Army National Guard. These two meet when there is a crime committed at Jordan’s job and Grant shows up. Que the lightening bolts! There is instant attraction and sparks fly but they are being watched. Multiple threats to Jordan lead Grant racing to find out who is behind this. I cannot say enough about this thrilling romantic read!
Brandy Nacole is a new author to me and she did not disappoint with this book. I Will Bury You is a psychological thriller. The attention to detail is amazing. The plotline is engaging and realistic. The characters are well written, complex, and fully developed. I found myself turning the pages because I need to know what was going to happen next. I will caution you that you do not want to move too fast because you may just miss a clue to what is going to happen. In this book, the main character is a young lady who is really having coping issues. She is lost and losing herself. Those around her are being killed. She needs to get into survival mode because she doesn’t know what is coming up next. I do not want to give too much information. So I highly recommend this book to see if you can find out what is going to happen in the end.

Sure As Hell (Life Is Hell Book 4) by Naomi Valkyrie. I love this series and I think each book gets better. I would recommend reading these in order so you get the all the great details. Its the story of Juniper Lake a not so normal destination, it just happens to be a hot spot for demons. We meet Jaru who is an imp and a former contact companion who feel like he not doing his job up to par. Jaru decides to open a new business much to his best friend Lark’s dismay. Lark is actually jealous of all the time Jaru spends on this new business since they are a new couple. Lark decides to mess up the business on purpose so that he can have all of Jaru’s attention. Will Jaru’s business make it and will Lark get all of Jaru’s attention or will Lark’s interference cause them to split permanently. Read Sure as Hell to find out all this and more!

This whole story has a great feel to it. It is emotional and heartwarming. I found myself wanting to keep reading to discover more of the journey that the characters were going on. I thought the author did a great job of developing the story at the right pace. Nothing felt rushed or forced, everything felt like it happened naturally. This is a really well written book which such a great pace about it. As the first book of a new series it is a strong start and has me excited about what else is to come.

This is the 3rd book in the series. Claudia and Henry are very cute . This was an enjoyable and engaging read with a friends to lovers storyline set in Hawaii in 1968. I was swept away by this descriptive Hawaiian Retro romance which featured great characters in Claudia and Henry. I found this a easy and nice book to read.

I enjoyed this young adult adventure story. This is a great story for any young adult who is looking for adventure and they will find it in this book. This is the second book in this series which I highly suggest reading the first book before this one to help get to know the characters better but can be read as a stand alone. This is a well developed story that took me on an entertaining, fun adventure and fantasy. The characters bring the story to life and make it engaging. I enjoyed how they were not only paranormal but also creatures. This is a fast paced story that pulls you into a magical world of friends and enemies. I am happy I picked up this book and I think you will too. I highly recommend this book.

Jake Wolfe and Cody (His service dog) are back, and in full force. While attending a wedding with many of his service buddy’s. One couple is targeted, Cody sensing trouble let out a warning. In the blink of an eye the sailboat explodes killing the newlyweds. Jack not only lost his brother he lost his friend. Somebody out there is setting IEDS and Jake and Cody needs to stop him. Mark Nolan has written this action packed, fast paced thriller. I was caught up in it the moment I opened the book. The suspense and other emotions are brought to the surface in this story. Just when you think everything is winding down, think again. This is one series I will never forget. The characters Jake and Cody as well as others, keep this story going. I am looking forward to reading more from Mark Nolan. Job Well Done Mark Nolan!

This book is only suitable for those over 18 as it contains adult themes and content which could trigger some readers.
Lexi is a woman who has been to Hell and back again, but the things she experienced there have broken her in more ways than one and she is mired in darkness, but she is also afraid of her own shadow, afraid that she will be dragged back to Hell and she is terrified of what will happen if she is. At night when she sleeps, she has nightmares where she relives everything she has been through, she is closed off and anxious about everything and uses her medication and therapy to try and just survive her everyday life, but when Lucca walks into her life out of the blue, things will never be the same again.
Lexi is preparing for a girls holiday away with her best friend, but before she can get home to pack, she has to finish unpacking the moving boxes in her new physiotherapy office in a leisure centre, the lease has just been agreed and she needs to prepare everything for her business partner when he opens up while she is away. She is also trying to field messages and phone calls from her other friends and family, but she hasn’t got the time or energy to deal with all that drama as well as everything else, however when she does acknowledge them, it leads her into a panic attack and just as she is going full pelt into it there is a knock at the door. She jumps up in shock and turns her back on the Italian voice she hears, but he ignores the request to give her a moment and comes straight over, lifting her chin up to look at him and asks again if she is ok. As she slowly raises her eyes, she cannot help but admire his physique, he is tall, muscly, domineering and very masculine, but the moment that their eyes meet she cannot look away, he is gorgeous and has a warm aura, but the intensity is off the charts, never mind the sex appeal.
After he introduces himself as Lucca, it turns out that he is there for a consultation as his back is hurting him, but she is finding it so hard to concentrate, as she hasn’t been affected in this way by anyone in this way before, however, she manages to get through the consultation, despite trying to ignore the fact that he is most definitely aroused and that it is affecting her in the same way and it terrifies her, especially when he asks her to dinner, but she refuses and just about maintains her professionalism until he leaves. When she eventually finishes work and she goes home and discusses it with her girls, they are all happy that this has happened and help her to get to grips with the feelings, she also deals with her family and the news they have for her, then she focuses on her girls night in and preparing for her holiday the next day.
The next day dawns early and she finialises her preparation, she is looking forward to the three weeks away she has planned, when she does set off on the journey, she is nervous, but excited, especially when they are traveling through the countryside and see the hotel for the first time. They are warmly welcomed with food and drinks and given time to freshen up before heading down for dinner with the other people who are staying there, however, when she entered the room and sees Lucca, her brain goes into panic mode, fight or flight sets in and she does what she always does and runs away. She feels like she is being stalked and just wants to go straight home, however she finds out that it is an accident and that it is actually the hotel owner’s grandson. It turns out that he wants to see her and apologise for the shock, she reluctantly agrees and is happy when her friend supports her with the decision, but when she finds that she finds comfort in his touch and is not acting in her usual way she is shocked, but when she starts to open up and agrees to spend some time with him to get to know him because he is persistent in his requests and this is the start of something neither of them is prepared for.
Will Lexi be able to spend time with Lucca and feel comfortable doing it, will she spurn his advances or will she let her walls down and allow him to see her and everything which she is holding behind those walls and will Lucca be able to accept her as she is, baggage and all, or will this just be something to break out of her shell? This is a story of trauma, emotions, love, acceptance and finding light in the darkness which will pull you into their lives and keep you there as you go on their journey with them.
