Irresistible – Fall Into Romance anthology is the fifth book in the Irresistible Romance series. This is another great collection of romance stories by various authors who are all brilliant in their own right. As with the other box sets in this series each of these books are different from the other so there is no trouble with telling them all apart and really getting invested in each of the stories. This anthology has a great mix of everything you could want out of romantic stories – great characters, entertaining story and a lot of sweetness and love. I have definitely enjoyed each and everyone of these books and can definitely say you will be able to find something you like. For me this is a great way to introduce yourself to these authors if you haven’t read any of them before and I would suggest getting this box set immediately.

I enjoyed this fantasy story. This is my first book by this author and I look forward to reading more from her. This is an engaging, fast paced story about Mira and Cadoc. Their relationship has had many struggles they must overcome. The question remains, will they be able to overcome the struggles life is throwing at them? I enjoyed their characters. They are well developed and made the story easy to read. They brought their world to life and their struggles felt real. This made a great afternoon read. I highly recommend this book

I enjoyed this book. This is not my first book by this author but it is one of my favorites by her. This is a well developed story that the author’s attention to details made me feel as if I was right there in each of the cities. I felt as though I was traveling right along with the character. I had no problems connecting with the characters as they brought the story and each city to life. This story is about someone selling everything they have to travel around in search of something, maybe romance or maybe themselves. What is found, you will have to read this book to find out. I highly recommend reading this story. It is engaging and fast paced, you won’t regret picking it up.

5 stars! This is the 3rd book in the series, it can be read as a standalone, but take it from me, I read this book first and missed out on a lot of detail and the formation of relationships. I got the gist of it, but I wish I would have read the others first, I will now have to go back and read them since the series is definitely worth it. I love reading romance within the Italian mob style books and this one was awesome. I loved all the drama, action, romance and crazy that this story had to offer. Serena and Giovanni are a great couple, I really enjoyed seeing them interact together. Serena is independent and strong willed and Gio has never had that in a woman, especially in his line of work. Serena will do anything to keep her family and Gio safe, so she assumes the best option is to leave them all to lure the kidnappers to come after her. I love that Gio will stop at nothing to keep her safe and protects her from everything, and how his family also loves her so much as to protect her like one of their own. I thought Serena would annoy me and be more like a needy damsel in distress type, but she is the opposite and her ramblings are just funny to read. I really can’t wait to see what comes next, it looks like there may be a little something going on with Salvatore and a certain nurse? I can only hope!

That Incredible Kiss by Tamara Ferguson Five Stars
That Incredible Kiss is the third book in the Kissed By Fate Series by Tamara Ferguson. This book can be read as a standalone but I highly recommend all of the books by Tamara. I live in northern Wisconsin and I always get a kick out reading her books when she mentions places I know. I have to say I fell in love with this book the moment I started it and it kept me enthralled right until the end. This is definitely my new favorite of Ms. Ferguson’s books. Ashley and Brian are powerful characters and watching them grow out of tragedy is a wonderful thing. If you love romance, these are the books for you!

I loved this book. This is one of my favorites by this author yet. This is a well written story that has characters that bring the story to life. I loved being pulled in right from the beginning. One of the things I love about this author is her ability for attention to details. Not only do they make me feel as if I am right there but also part of the story. This story is about Mudesa. She made a plan to make her way to the top and now that she is there, one phone call could change everything for her. Now she is face to face with the past and a hot detective that may have all the answers. Their twists and turns kept me turning pages. Their story is full of romance and magic that you don’t want to miss. I highly recommend this book and this author.
Better To Have Loved by Christy Nicholas is a great story that I found to be very emotional. I was drawn into the story from the moment I started reading it and really fell in love with the characters. For me this was made even better knowing than it was based on true people, it just added a different depth to the story. The author did a brilliant job of letting this story almost tell itself. The journey the characters went through really came through. I felt connected to both them and the story line and really did lose myself in this book entirely. I would highly recommend this book.

Dare Game by Melinda Colt is the first book in the Irish Garda Files series. This is a brilliant mystery book that is full of suspense and intrigue from start to finish. It is the kind of book that I had to read in one sitting because I just had to know what was going on and how it would all play out! This is the first book that I have read by this author and it is one I thoroughly enjoyed! I was completely drawn in but her writing style and thought it was really easy to connect with the characters. I am already looking forward to reading more of this series!

I loved this story. It has adventure, mystery and just goes to show no one is who you think they are. This is the fourth book in the Katrina Cardinal series. It is a great story that keeps you gripped from beginning to end.
In this book we find Katrina going on a holiday to rest and recover. However when her neighbour asks her to bring a package for her to Mexico, Katrina’s peaceful holiday gets turned upside down.
With forgery, a ancient relic and a kidnapping can Katrina solve this case and what is so appealing about the ancient relic that means someone is prepared to commit a crime for it.

Dare Game (The Irish Garda Files #1) by Melinda Colt
This is the first book I’ve read by Colt, but it won’t be my last. This is part of The Irish Garda Files, but can be read as a stand alone. This romance is one you need to read.
Amber, newly divorced and now single mom, moves from NYC to Ireland. Working means she doesn’t have a lot of time with her daughter. When her daughter tells her what’s going on Amber knows what to do. The quote I chose for Amber is: “You’re a real hero, John, you know that? No one else was able to figure out this case.”
John, an Irish policeman, is brought back to the time when his wife was shot. He goes through the neighborhood and finds his new fix. He finds himself falling for Amber and her daughter. The quote I chose for John is: “I’m glad you contacted us immediately after Hayley told you about The Game. This piece will help us solve the puzzle. I’m afraid we’ll have to inconvenience you further. I’m not sure yet, but based on what we know, our computer specialist will have to work from here for a few days.”

Hero High book 4: heartbreak Rebellion I recommend you read books 1-3 first so you will understand this book. We pick up where book three left off, we continue with Friday Fitzsimmons, and her journey. In this story we see her mature greatly. You will enjoy this read, well done by author Mina Chara!

This Irresistible – Fall Into Romance anthology is a collection of Stories by 8 amazing authors: Tamara Ferguson, Natalie Ann Suzanne Jenkins, Cynthia Cooke, Alicia Street, Jen Talty, Angela Stevens and Patrice Wilton. I love when a new one of these anthologies comes out as I get to read some great authors all wrapped up in one neat package. One think I love mot about these anthologies is that they usually contain a book by Tamara Ferguson who has become a favourite of mine over the last year or so. The offering from Tamara Ferguson in this anthology is Two Hearts Truce. I have now read several of the Two Hearts books and I am a huge fan of them. This one was no different as I was hooked from the beginning as it started with a flashback to another Two Hearts couple that I adored in Christine and Jeremy Northrup. The hero couple in this book are Jeremy’s sister Amanda and his sergeant Jeff. I loved reading this second chance romance. Amanda is an amazing character trying to come to terms with a horrific event from her past and is scared of getting into a relationship. Jeff is an amazing guy and the support he gives Amanda is second to none, I just adored him. This is just one great read in this anthology. We are totally spoiled for choice in getting 8 great reads to occupy the autumn evenings.

Playing Series 3 Book Set By Stephanie Queen 5 out of 5 stars
I loved reading the three stories in this collection. They are stories that are romantic and enjoyable to read. They pulled me in from the beginning and I found myself hooked. You are entering the world of the Boston Militia football team. I loved reading about the main characters as well as the additional ones as well. I also loved that some of the characters from each book were brought forward to the next one. I enjoyed the bantering that goes back and forth between the characters. There are friendships and camaraderie as well. There are romantic scenes that make the temperature in the room rise. Also, chemistry, attraction, and passion. There are at times stressful and emotional situations that the characters must deal with. My emotions went up and down throughout the stories. The author has a wonderful way of making both the story and the characters come alive. Don’t miss out on three stories that you won’t want to put down until you finish the final page of each. I highly recommend reading them.

She’s No Cowgirl (My Cowboy Series Book 5) by Brooke May is a sports romance story. It is an easy read that flowed well from start to end. Characters are quickly developed and likeable, believable and you get invested in their lives. This book has a bit of everything in it, from the drama and secrets, to love and frustration, of hope and wonder. It is a tale of young love, of two people brought together for the love of their sports and finding their own way. I enjoy Brooke’s writing and I have yet to read a book I have not liked from her.

Secure Heart (Chase Security Series Book 3) by R.L. Dunn does not fail to deliver and this third book is just as enthralling as the previous two. It is nonstop thrills and action and this enticing fast paced story sees lots happening. R.L. keeps us entertained with lots of players and masters the art of giving us something that will have you on the edge of your seat and your heart pounding, the tension rising and your emotions on high. I can’t say enough about my love of the Chase Group stories and the characters. It is full of action and danger, secrets and lies, heartache and love, suspense and mystery, lies and deceit, alpha hot men and strong women. As you journey along with the wonderful characters your heart will be pumping, jaw clenching and times your heart will melt. The book will have you biting nails and on the edge of your seat. Not one to be missed.

Tompkin’s School: For The Dearly Departed (A Supernatural Academy Trilogy Book 2) by Tabi Slick is a good second book for this series. The Torvik twins are back at the Tompkins School for another year. A school specifically created to kill them and others like them, as near as they can tell. Quite a bit going on in this story, it’s fast paced and there are quite a few details and lots of interesting players. There is the big mystery and it will keep you guessing. Can’t wait for the next one.

I have read 1 of these amazing stories, but I will be going back to read the rest over the next couple of weeks to add more to my thoughts here. I read Tamara Ferguson’s book and like all her other stories I was hooked to see what would transpire in this one. Amanda and Jeff dated years ago and after something happened, things shifted and they split. Now they’re back in the same town and feelings are high. Can they make a go of it this time, or will Amanda’s past be the barrier keeping them moving forward? Or even Jeff’s job? I really enjoyed these two and they had such a great story, very believable and relatable and I love that.

Pharaoh’s Forgery (Karina Cardinal Mysteries Book 4) by Ellen Butler
5 ++++ Stars
I can’t even find words to describe how much I love this series. Not sure if it’s the characters and how they’re written, or their dialogue, or the storylines, or the fact I cant put the books down while I’m reading them. Even the drama and the edge of your seat danger has me completely hooked. I love Karina and have always said I want to be her friend and her sidekick in how she just falls into stuff and how she maneuvers her way through it all. Also, who knew Mrs Thundermuffin had so much more to her? I just loved this book so so much and it was a perfect addition to a favorite series from a favorite author. I seriously can not wait for a cold winter day to sit and read all these over again.
I just know this can’t be the end of this series, too many things left unanswered…Silverthorne Security being just one. I love these guys and how they “handle” Karina, this always makes me smile and a lot of time laugh out loud. Then there’s Mike…. I love Rodrigo, and his friendship with Karina is one of my favorite parts of these stories.
I truly just don’t know what to say except pick this series up..each I suppose could be read as a standalone but trust me when I say don’t do that… There’s history to these characters you absolutely don’t want to miss.

This was a really good continuation of the story about Kain and Izara. The story took a bit of a dark turn but I loved it. The twists and turns in this book kept me on the edge and I had no idea where it was going. Tabi Slick has created a winner and I look forward to reading the next installment in this series. I highly recommend this book to anyone wanting to read a good supernatural series.

Brumbaugh is a new author to me and one that I will definitely pick up again. I found this book to be riveting and well developed. The world building was detailed and vivid. I enjoyed getting to know Gant and following his journey. If you like epic fantasies packed with imaginative characters and lots of magic, this book is for you. Cannot wait to continue the series!

The Patience of Karma is the fifth book in The Madeline Dawkins Series by Cynthia Hamilton. This is the fourth book I have read in this series and this book did not disappoint. The author does an amazing job carrying out multiple story lines within the same book. Madeline Dawkins is a private investigator with her partner Mike Delaney. One case leaves Madeline looking for a client’s missing nephew to help save his dying niece. It’s thought the nephew Daniel died in a boating accident that took the lives of two of his friends, but a photo surfaces that proves otherwise. Finding Daniel could lead to him being a kidney donor for his sister, ultimately saving her life. The other case deals with an older man worried that his younger wife is cheating on him. Digging into this case leads to some strange and dangerous evidence. Then to top it all off, Mike Delaney is struggling with some past choices he made and how they might affect his present life. These three cases were true tests for Madeline. Like in other novels, I really enjoyed reading Madeline’s story. She is such a strong female main character and works very hard in her profession. I look forward to continuing Madeline’s story in the next novel.

THAT INCREDIBLE KISS (Kissed By Fate Book 3) by Tamara Ferguson
Another romance in Crystal Rock, there is something magical there and I hope the magic doesn’t end any time soon.
Ashley and Brian have known each since they were kids and just when things start moving forward something happens to tear them apart for several years. Thankfully that is just the beginning of their second chapter.
There is so much that happens that is tied to the past for both Crystal Rock and Ashley and Brian and it wasn’t anywhere close to where my mind took me.
This is a great series, not over the top with the romance or the suspense. Can’t wait to who falls next.

The Patience of Karma is book 5 in the series. This book can be read as a stand alone however it’s always good to have read the previous books to understand the level of relationships and what was conjured up to get them where they are today. I have read the previous books. Mike and Madeline have a long history. Here they are back at it again doing what they love. I always wonder if the books would keep my attention better if it was one case at a time. I enjoyed reading the book but it did take me a while to finish. This duo has 2 cases which are keeping them busy. A missing nephew who is thought to have possibly passed away but there’s reason to believe he’s still alive. He’s needed for a very important reason involving his sister who desperately needs him. The other case is a high profile person who believes his wife is cheating. Should be a very easy cut and dry case. With any good book there’s always surprise bumps in the road to keep us entertained. I love the relationship between the characters and always wonder what they will be up to next.

I enjoyed this contemporary romance by Belinda Williams, ‘Self Made’ is book two in the ‘Freshwater’ series and we are back in beachside Sydney with another high-achieving women and the man who is not afraid to be challenged by her. It can be read as a standalone story although the setting and some characters do crossover books. Jessica Jinks is the face of her online fitness brand and with her business going from strength to strength she is feeling pretty confident. Even when tasked with transforming comedian and co-host of an evening current affairs show, Ant Monticello, “from unfit to ripped in three months” and with the whole country watching his progress Jess is positive she can deliver. However when she meets Ant and he wants to go for fast food before his cardio exercise, Jess realises the challenge she’s up against. The more Jess and Ant work together on his fitness, diet and exercise Jess is shocked that Ant actually makes her pulse race and she loves that he makes her laugh. Ant meanwhile is determined to turn himself into the man Jess wants and loves making her laugh. Jess is very aware that with the country watching and the success of her business relying on his transformation that Ant is definitely off limits and so even though she’s attracted to him she keeps things professional. As Ant undergoes his transformation physically he also starts to change his personality and Jess realises that he’s changing in a bad way and that maybe Ant was perfect just as he was, but how does that leave her business. This was another wonderful romantic story with some great characters and a lovely setting, which the authors detailed descriptions really made come alive. I loved Jess and Ant as they were both so relatable in different ways and I and was really cheering them on wanting them to both get their happy ever after. The chemistry between the couple really came across in the narrative and I liked how their relationship developed throughout the story. The storyline had plenty of drama along with the romance and the plot along with the characters had me hooked from beginning to end. This was an enjoyable and fun read, and I look forward to reading the next book in the series.

I highly recommend reading the first book in the Topkin’s School for the Dearly Departed. You will have the story of the twins Izzy and Kain. This is a YA Paranormal story that has drama, adventure, mystery, and suspense. The Twins have abilities that they are learning to use. They are still trying to find out if their abilities are a curse or a benefit. They are not sure who they can trust and look for answers to understanding their abilities. They are on an adventure but they are still new and there could be trouble coming their way. I highly recommend this book to get lost in an adventure of the twins Izzy and Kain.
