This sets out in the perfect suspenseful mystery. I loved the start with Logan and her daughter. I found their scenes adorable with the little sea otter to boot. The characters are easy to love but the mystery that surrounds Lot 429 is impeccably written. The theme itself that surrounds the story is also a very good pace for a book of this stature. Of all in this series, I have never been disappointed yet as to what this author has to offer!

This book is a good guide for the first-time authors who decide to go to a self-publishing route. This was something I wanted to know and hence I picked this book. I will use it as a reference book in the future. It has a lot of details right from selecting the right image of the cover to what goes in the blurb to how to acquire the ISBN for the book. As I have never published a book before, there were some terminologies which are confusing but I am pretty sure that when I get to the process, this book will be of great help. Build-A-Book Workshop (The Literary Handyman Book 2) is a book full of great information for someone planning to self publish a book. The sections are well laid out, with terms discussed in the section are clearly defined at the beginning of each section. Although I’m not planning on writing a book in the near future, I really appreciate the way this book is organized. I will be grabbing this book if and when I decide to write a book. Accountability (Scope of Practice Book 3) by Jessica Aiken-Hall, is the third book in the Scope of Practice Series. It’s a well-written book with lots of introspection. I liked the story but Im not sure I like the way it ended. I’m on the fence about it. In one way it offended my sense of justice, but on the other hand, myself a victim of domestic abuse and violence, I can understand it. If you haven’t read Boundaries(Scope of Practice Book 1) or Confidentiality (Scope of Practice Book 2) you should go read those now before you start this third one. Although you can get the gist of the story with just one book it’s a much more enjoyable experience if you’ve read the first and the second one. This is a series well worth your time.

Ok, these stories always suck me in and I abandon my family until I am finished. This one of course was the same way, but I have to say, Road’s story had me hooked but also screaming at him because we ALL know how Drummer is and knew it wouldnt end well.
I loved getting to see the secretive Utah crew and all the different dynamics here, which I promise you’ll want to hang on tight because this was not a ride I expected to be on! I really am not one to hold much back but this is 100% a story you need to just dive in and read it because it has so many things happening you have to find them on your own. As a new series for a new chapter of the MC, this can be read as a standalone or your first ever book by this amazing author. But I promise you, you will be binging everything she’s ever written after starting one. Can’t wait to see where we are taken next here in Utah!

I enjoyed this book. This is book two in this series, I highly suggest you read book one before this one. It will help your enhancement of this series and get to know where the characters come from and where they are now. This is a great second part of this story. Ommily and Link’s story picks up where they have just found each other and have been accepted into the Guard. Their journey continues as they take a stand against supernaturals rogues. Their relationship is pushed to limits they did not expect. Will the Guard come out on top or will the hotel fall? What happens to them you don’t want to miss. They bring lots of action and some romance too. It is a fast paced story and easy to read. This book made a great afternoon story and I highly recommend this book.

This is the fifth book in this series, they keep getting better and better with every installment. I enjoyed seeing Madeline again in another story. This is a well developed story that kept me turning pages to the end. The characters made the story engaging and fast paced. I had no problem connecting with them. They made the story easy to read and really made the story into what it is. In this book we get to see Madeline and her partner Mike back in another set of mysteries. This story reads as if there are two mysteries but it is done well and understandable. Madeline is faced with finding out if a composer’s wife is having an affair and Mike is faced with coming to terms with choices made in the past. I highly recommend reading this book to find out what Madeline and Mike have in store for us next in this story. As always, Madeline is such a great character and has been my favorite from the beginning. You won’t regret picking up this book, I know that I didn’t.

I have enjoyed this series since the beginning and this book had me completely entertained just as much as the previous two books. It is my suggestion that you read these books in order for more history on Valerie and a better understanding over all. The twists and turns in this story kept me on the edge of my seat. The author’s writing draws into the story and gets you invested in the characters. Valerie has to deal with her past and it changes a lot of things for her. This is a must read if you want to know what happens to her. This book is full of mystery, suspense, wonderful characters and unexpected outcomes. I highly recommend this book.

The author gives some great tips and information that anyone could use. Steps are easy to follow. The author does a wonderful job of keeping readers interested in the details and information given in this books. It’s well written and thought out. I was very glad I’d found this book so I could see a bit behind the scenes of book writing and publishing. Great informative book four stars and highly recommended.

Devil’s Claw: A Logan McKenna Mystery/Thriller Book 3 (The Logan McKenna Series) by Valerie Davisson. This author has truly risen to some of my top favorites. This series keeps giving and I love everything it’s got to give. From the drama and mystery to its bits of adventure I love getting lost in its pages with each character. The characters are complex and well developed, pulling readers in completely and making them one not want it to end and two coming back for more and more. I found myself on the edge of my seat trying to read faster and slower all at once. Even the smallest details are focused on and well developed. I like the authors writing style and I I can wait to see where this author takes readers next. Four big stars and highly recommended!

EverMarked by AJ Eversley. This year I promised myself I’d step outside of my comfort zone in the reading world. This story falls in that category for me and I truly wasn’t disappointed. The storyline is well written and paced nicely, well thought out. The author builds a story world people would gladly be lost in for a few hours. It’s an interesting storyline that kept me intrigued and has me wanting more. The characters are complex and easy to connect with. I’m looking forward to more from this author and getting lost in another great book. Four stars and highly recommended.

When your dreams become reality, are they really what you expected?
Cami is hoping to graduate from High school and the escape to the big city to pursue her career in music but one day a music legend comes to perform and her life gets turn upside down when he asks her to be one of his backing singers.
Hank is a music legend and is coming to perform in a small town. Cami is excited to be part of this spectacular and is hoping to learn from the great rock legend but there’s one probably he is not a nice person. Cami is then drawn to his son Dylan who has taken her under his wing, the chemistry is in abundance but can his manic life add love into the mix, you will have to read to find out.
This is the first story I have read in this series and by this author, it works well as a stand alone but I would love to read the first book in this series to get the groundwork for the story and characters involved.
The story is one of first chances, what ifs, angst and inevitable characters who want to ruin everything. The story is well written and develops into a beautiful story which I could not put down, the two main characters compliment each other brilliantly and you are willing them to have a happily ever after story.
I recommend this book, it’s an easy read with a great storyline. I can’t wait to read the first installment and the next in the series.

Holy Cow What a story . Road Tripped is a wonderfully written story with twists and turns that literally had me on the edge. I had to know what was going to happen next but at times didn’t see it coming. Im literally running out of things to say about this Author, she’s my absolute favorite especially when it comes to MC. You guys if you haven’t started any of the Satan’s Devils MC you definitely need to. I promise you won’t be disappointed. So this is the first book in the Utah chapter of the Satan’s Devils MC. For fear of accidentally leaking a spoiler I’m simply going to say this. Drummer sends the main character out to Utah to see why they are being so secretive but what he discovers no one seen coming. One click this book I highly recommend, not just this book but absolutely any book by this Author. I can’t wait to read more from this series like I need the next book now.

What a great way to start a spin-off series! Road Tripped is the first book in the Satan’s Devils MC Utah series by Manda Mellett. In this book we start off in Tucson with Roadrunner aka Road. Drummer, the President of the Tucson chapter sends Road on a little road trip up to Utah to visit that chapter to clear his head and see what they are up to. Road was at the point of tasting victory when one accident cleared him of that. That one accident took every bit of his dream, so where does he go from here? Now, the Utah chapter is pretty different from all the others. Here he meets, Swift and boy does she take him for a loop. Not only does she take him for a loop, but so does the entire Utah chapter. Will learning about this club put him in danger of life or will it be just what he needs in order to find his way again? This book was better than I thought it would be. I was pulled in from the get go and couldn’t put it down. There was this constant mystery of who this Utah chapter really is and whether or not Road will leave alive. Not to mention this attraction to a woman that he has no business being attracted to. All of the characters and their back stories were amazing. There were so many twists and turns to make me want to continue to read the book. I cannot wait for the next book to come out!

I loved this book! This author is one that ive read before and her books never disappoint! All of her reads have been steamy and have hot bikers, what more could i ask for? I think this defidently is one of my favorites that i have read because the author knows how to bring you in and keep you interested . This is about a biker who goes on the road to check out another chapter. The unexpected happens and its one heck of a crazy ride. I wont say anymore for fear of spoiling this awesome book. I’m a huge fan of Manda Mellett and I get way too excited for her releases. I have loved all the Satan’s Devils chapters and I’m was so excited to dive right in the Utah chapter. This was a story that I wasn’t expecting and it took me by complete surprise but I loved every second of it. There was so much to this story such as lies, deceit, so many questions, and anything that can keep you on the edge of your seat. I’m so excited for this series! It definitely started off with a bang!

The way this book was written was captivating. I liked the timeline of the way the events were portrayed. This was a very eye opening story with the state of the world today and seeing the views in a different perspective, to me, is always a positive thing. Lisa did a fantastic job creating the characters and the city’s and town’s we visited through out this story. If you are looking for a story that is more real life than not, mysterious, has characters you think you may have known if a past life, this is definitely a read for you.

This book is about Road who ends up in Utah by his Prez to check on the chapter there. His life has been in shambles since his injury and he is glad to still be able to ride. I’ve never read any books on how to start getting a book published before. Nor have I read anything by Danielle Ackley-McPhail. I’ve always toyed with the idea of writing a book but never knew where to start or how to formulate any of the ideas in my head. The fact she has checklists and reminders of things not to do is amazing. This definitely makes me want to get back to trying to write a book! Shattered is the first book in the Rhodes Family series by Lisa Wood. I loved reading this book, its romantic with quite a bit of steamy scenes. The authors writing style made it an easy read that pulls you in from the first page. I loved reading about the characters Olivia and Gabriel. Olivia is running when her world is turned upside down and Gabriel is a playboy whose world changes when he meets Olivia. Can these two overcome everything to give their love a try? Will Olivia’s past come back to haunt her? Absolutely loved this book and could not put it down. Cannot wait for the second book in the series .

I loved reading the book Kickflip Summer by Danielle Jacks. It is an amazing romance story that pulled me in from the beginning. I loved the characters of Kara and Bear. Kara is a young woman who is smart, strong, and independent. For her last summer before university, she has decided to follow her best friend Toby and work in the Blue Oaks Theme Park. Then she meets Bear. Bear is a young man whose passion is skateboarding. He is not thrilled at the idea of going home. He finds himself very attracted to Kara. Is what is happening between Kara and Bear just a summer fling or is it turning into something more? Read this book to find out. The story has romantic moments as well as funny moments that made me laugh out loud. I grew to care about what happens to Kara and Bear with each chapter that I read. I wanted them to find happiness. I also enjoyed reading about the additional characters that are introduced. I loved the character of Toby who is Kara’s best friend. They make sure to look out for one another. The author does a wonderful job of making you fall in love with the characters and making the story come alive. Don’t miss out on a wonderful romance story that you will not be able to put down until the final page. I highly recommend reading it.

The story pulled me in from the very beginning and I was hooked. I loved the character of Gant. He is a young man the is intelligent, strong, and courageous. He finds himself in a journey that includes danger, magic, and find many allies along the way. He also finds those who are evil and have dark purposes will do anything for their agenda to be fulfilled. Will they succeed? What does the future hold for Gant? Read this book to find out. This is a story that had me turning pages wondering what was going to happen next. It is a book that I just couldn’t put down until the final page. The story is exciting, entertaining, and amazing to read. Don’t miss out reading this story. I highly recommend it.

Once again another Tamara book that I have fallen in love with. This one had a unique storyline that leads you to believe one thing that seems obvious yet turns into not obvious at all and much more complicated.
This story almost felt personal to me, first because it is set near my hometown and even mentions things that I actually know about. It also has 2 main characters named Ashley and Brian. I read this on the exact day of my daughter Ashley and her husband Brian’s anniversary. So that was kinda weird in a way.
I don’t even have words to describe this authors’ books anymore, I feel like I’ve said them all in other reviews. She’s an automatic one click for me and always will be, no matter the topic. Her books just make me feel comfortable because when i pick them up I know I’ll feel like I’m home !
I truly loved this story and hope you will pick up this series which does not have to be read in order to follow but read them regardless, they are all amazing!

In Road Tripped, we are introduced to the Utah chapter of Manda Mellett’s Satan’s Devils MC. Wow! I had been a bit sceptical – were there not enough Satan’s Devils chapters already? – but Utah really adds something new to the series and a whole new family of characters to get to know. Swift is fantastic! Possibly my favourite character in the series so far. She is so cool and skilled and strong, but the thing that sealed the deal for me was when she reveals that she has Yorkshire Tea shipped over to America by her British parents. As a resident of Yorkshire, I have been known to bring a few boxes of our superior tea to relatives across the pond! Something that really stands out in this book was the representation of disabilities. There are multiple characters with different disabilities, and these are represented sensitively and consistently. Road, for example, has a damaged knee from an accident. He can’t ride for more than a few hours at a go, so when he’s riding a longer distance it takes a few days as he needs to stop along the way. But over a short distance he’s faster than any of the other bikers. If he’s been standing for too long, someone usually notices and offers him a chair. We see him taking painkillers, using a walking stick, strapping his knee and doing physio exercises. Mostly, this is peripheral to the story and the action but it feels realistic and representative. This book definitely gets five stars from me! I cannot WAIT to read more about the Utah chapter. Is it a good place to come into the series? I feel like I enjoyed it more having read some of the main Tucson series in particular, to get to know people like Drummer and Blade. You absolutely could jump in here though, as we get enough background for everything to make sense.

Aimed at authors planning on self publishing, those about to venture into the independent publishing market and those already running small presses who want to improve this book is a “guide to understanding the basic elements of professional book layout”. ‘Build-A-Book Workshop’ is book two in Danielle Ackley-McPhail’s ‘Literary Handyman’ series and is obviously written by someone who has years of experience in book design and layout. Ackley-McPhail has very cleverly made what is a very complicated process into an easy to read and understand book. The short book is packed full of helpful ideas and insider tips with each chapter concentrating on a particular aspect of the process. The layout of this particular book, as you would expect, is very clear and easy to understand. The glossary of terms at the end of the book is particularly useful as is the appendix pointing out the mistakes the author herself has made in the past and how to overcome them. Although a great handbook on its own I think it would work well with the first book in the series as well. I found this to be an extremely interesting and useful book and I can see myself referring back to it and having a re-read of particular chapters as required.

This is the first book I have read from this author and she now has a new fan. I love a good rockstar romance but she exceeded all my expectations. This is the second book of the Just One series. I read this book as a stand alone but after reading this story I have to go back and read the first one as well. Once I started this book I could put it down until the end. The characters draw you right in the beginning. It took me only a few hours to devour this incredible book.
Cami Harris just got out of high school and she wants to leave her hometown to become a famous singer. She is so excited when one of the best rockstar’s comes to Branson. Cami gets to be a backup singer for Hank at some of his shows. She is happy to learn from the best even if he is a jerk. Cami meets Hank’s son Dylan and sparks start to fly. She is happy that Dylan is taking her under his wing and showing her the famous life. Cami starts falling for Dylan but is he feeling the same way? Is Cami ready to be famous or does she realize she needs to stay home and take care of her family?
