Game of Fear – A gripping psychological thriller with a shocking twist (Fearless Series) by Gledé Browne Kabongo is a suspense story that had me on the edge of my seat trying to figure out what happens next. I was drawn in from the beginning and found myself lost in the pages. I couldn’t turn them fast enough. There’s just a little bit of everything from suspense to mystery and even romance. This is my first read by this Author but it definitely wont be my last. Amy has everything going for her all but the one time she did something very very bad. She finds herself in a situation where someone is saying they know what she did. But what do they want with her? What will happen when she is forced to play by his rules? REBOUND (REWIND BOOK 4) By Rowan Shaw – Review by Jenni Bishop

Rebound (Rewind #4)Rebound by Rowan Shaw
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

REBOUND (Rewind Book 4) by Rowan Shaw is a quick read that is like the others an emotional read. Rowan touches on subjects that many think of as taboo, but she does so beautifully. She puts her heart and soul into each one of her stories and it shows through her word smithing and world building. I like the characters in this story and the fact it is a little different from the others.

Noah is a Bisexual young man who is lost but all it takes is to meet the right person who makes him realise that he is allowed to be himself and to be happy along with it but will his heart be broken again?

Grab a copy and find out Noah’s story.

Rebound (Rewind #4)Rebound by Rowan Shaw

Rebound by Rowan Shaw is the fourth book in the Rewind series. This book can be read as a stand-alone however personally I would read them in order to get the full experience.
As with the rest of this series what was so good about this book was how engaging and relatable the characters are. Even if they are going through things you haven’t been it was so easy to envisage their journey, their struggles.
I really loved Noah. He is one of those characters I just connected with instantly. And how the author portrays polyamorous relationships is brilliant. As someone not at all familiar with that type of relationship it was made easy to understand.
This is a fantastic book and one I thoroughly enjoyed.

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I started this lovely little novella earlier this evening, and once I started it, I shut everything else out to keep reading. I couldn’t stop. I adored Eden, and I adored Rhett too, he was so sweet and charming and even endearing at times. I could feel for Eden and some of the things she had gone through. There were definite moments I felt I would need a cold shower as the level of steam in this book could melt a whole ice rink (pun intended). I loved all the small little Harry Potter references, though I would disagree on Gryffindor being the best house (Proud Slytherin Here) other than that It was brilliant and I look foward to reading more about the Miners Hockey Team and their women.

I knew as soon as I received this novel I wouldn’t be disappointed and boy was I right! It’s all to do with how amazing Amy writes she has such a way with words that it isn’t just engrossing but it is also full of emotion you cant help but feel yourself right there along side them in the novel. I have a weakness for a romance with suspense it just add an extra punch to the storyline having all that mystery such a hook filled story! I honestly cant wait to read more from her I loved every second!

REBOUND (REWIND BOOK 4) By Rowan Shaw – Review by Karyn Taylor

Rebound (Rewind #4)Rebound by Rowan Shaw
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Rebound is the 4th book in the excellent Rewind Series by Rowan Shaw. Each of the 4 books in this series are considered to be standalones but the author does suggest that you read the 2nd book, Return before reading this one as Adrien and Raphael from that book play a major role in this book too.
Rebound is a Polyamorous Bisexual Romance set entirely in France. It contains several sexual encounters, including MM and MF. It also includes some very hot encounters between 3 men and another which includes the 3 men and their friend Charlotte.
Noah Perrin is devastated when Hugo, his boyfriend of 10 years dumps him. Ex-lover Adrien invites Noah to move in with him and his boyfriend Raphael. When friend Charlotte admits she may be bisexual, Noah helps her to come to terms with her new sexuality while trying to get over the breakdown of his own relationship.
As with the previous 3 books in this series the sexual scenes are very hot and are explained in great detail. This is not a series for prudes. As well as the hot sex scenes, Rowan Shaw spins yet another fantastic story of coming to terms with your sexuality. I loved reading the growing relationship between Noah and Charlotte as well as the friendship and camaraderie between them and Adrien and Raphael.
I have loved all 4 books in this series and I really hope there is more to come. These 4 books are now available as a box set and I’m sincerely hoping that doesn’t mean that this great series is over.

5-Stars

Lillie (Maggie Trilogy Series Book 3) by Mya O’Malley was an amazing ending for this series. I had so many emotions with this book. I laughed and I cried. Lillie was not as bad as I first thought. I loved how Naomi broke through to help her. I was amazed at the things revealed. This was definitely my favorite book of the trilogy. As always, the characters were amazing and wonderful. The storyline was extremely addicting and had an easy flow that kept me hooked. It was organized and edited well. I highly recommend this book but I do not recommend it as a standalone.

This is my first book by this author, I loved it from cover to cover. I can’t wait to dig into book two. This is a book that has some dark spots but also lots of romance. I had a hard time putting it down once I started it. I loved the characters and their chemistry. They brought the story to life as well as being connectable and engaging. Gabriel and Julieanne are such great characters. I don’t regret picking up this book and neither will you. I highly recommend this must read story.

Lillie (Maggie Trilogy Series Book 3)Lillie by Mya O’Malley
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I’m a huge fan of Mya O’Malley and her Maggie trilogy! I loved the other two books in this trilogy but she hit it big with the ending of this trilogy! You technically could read each book as a standalone but I would suggest to read them all in order. There are certain aspects to the story that connect through the books.

I loved revisiting Naomi and I loved seeing her grow throughout reading the books. She has solved a series of murders and no longer really wants to be doing this in the spirit world but her connection is far too strong to step away from it. I loved catching up with Bryce and his daughter Holly especially now that Holly has a new friend, Lillie, that poses a real threat to Naomi.

This was such an amazing ending to this series. These books are nothing I have read before and I throughly enjoyed them!

REBOUND (REWIND BOOK 4) By Rowan Shaw – Review by Angela Hayes

Rebound (Rewind #4)Rebound by Rowan Shaw
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Rebound is the fourth book in the Rewind Series by Rowan Shaw. It is, in my opinion, the ‘spiciest’ of the series so far. It could be read as a stand alone, but I highly recommend reading the rest of the series – or at the very least diving into “Return” (Book #2) before starting on this one- as a lot of character introductions and backstory is contained there.
As I mentioned, this book is a little different than the rest of the series, as this has a polyamorous/ bisexual romance- with both M/M and M/F scenes playing out throughout the story. I really didn’t know what to expect going into this book- but Rowan Shaw didn’t disappoint- grabbing my attention and pulling me in right from the beginning. As with her other books, this story is so well written- while managing to create truly realistic and believable characters and situations. I have said before, and this book is no different, that the author is a really great storyteller- writing a complex, thought-provoking, moving, and very memorable stories.
A wonderful addition to the series, holding its own against the rest of the pack- but a book with an energy, flavour, and personality all its own.

Thank you, Rowan Shaw!

Game of Fear – A gripping psychological thriller with a shocking twist (Fearless Series) by Gledé Browne Kabongo – Review by Erin Wolf

Game of FearGame of Fear by Glede Browne Kabongo

I give Game of Fear – A gripping psychological thriller with a shocking twist (Fearless Series) by Glede Brown Kabongo, 4 stars.

This is a psychological thriller book for the young adult crowd. The main character is a senior at a very elite high school and it is centered around her and her friends. This book is well written and the story has you on edge the entire time. Someone is out to make her life hell and they seem to stop at nothing. What I liked most about this book was that you do not see many books in this genre for this age group. That in itself was refreshing. Not to pull away from the book, I was never a rich college kid who had to think of her family being disgraced if she did something wrong, so I couldn’t completely relate to this fear and this side of the book. However, I can understand and have read about the hidden secret you never want exposed. The author makes this very clear.

The cast of characters is good too — pretty much what you would expect from an elite high school for rich teens. There is a mixture of people too, not just all one type of person. I also like how the author integrated many different races, making the book have a different feel to it.

If you like YA Thriller that keep you guessing until the end, this book is for you.

Lillie (Maggie Trilogy Series Book 3)Lillie by Mya O’Malley
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Lillie was the best ending the Maggie trilogy could have! I don’t want it to be over. This entire series gripped me and held me, I’ve easily fallen in love with all the novels. Lillie was so conclusive as a whole, and so emotional I cried at the end. It was a whirlwind of a story through and through, and like the previous novels on this trilogy, I couldn’t put it down. I really hope for a spinoff in the future, or for some novellas because I really don’t want to leave Naomi and her adventures behind! 5 stars for this book and 5 stars for the whole trilogy. I’ve never read a ghost story that was as wholesome and good as these have been!

I have read everyone of this author’s books and loved each one, this one is no different. This story can be read as a standalone but I highly suggest reading this series from the beginning to help enhance your enjoyment and background of the characters. This is a well developed story that takes place in France. The characters not only bring the story to life but are connectable and keep you coming back for more. In this book we get to see Noah who is faced with an opportunity that he has always dreamed about, always wanted. When it comes down to it, it could break his heart. Is it worth the risk? I highly recommend reading his story to find out what happens next, it is a must read.

5 Out of This World Stars

Good Lord I just dont know…Im a mess right now after finishing this book…my mind is whirling and Im so so confused…Im going to need time to think about all of this and come to some sort of conclusion…I feel like Evie right now and all her voices are talking to me and I just do not know!

This story from book 1 till now just keeps pulling me in so many directions and I feel like I need to calm down and read them all again, they are that good and maybe since I read them so fast on my first time through I could take my time and savor every word and then MAYBE have some clue as to what the heck is going on LOL

I have been Team Dylan for so long and have been mad at Evie so many times through this series I cant even tell you, mad like a loving sister that just wants the best for her, but now I just don’t know, I don’t know who to trust, I feel like now nothing is as it seems and I feel like if I don’t get the next book soon I simply will not make it!

I’m not going into any more details about this story, these three books are a non stop continuous story, please don’t read them out of order..I can not imagine that working at all. Do read them all though they are masterfully written and I can just picture this author sitting at her computer sipping her favorite beverage with the biggest evil grin on her face hitting that last word on each of these books saying..Oh yes..that will do nicely!

This part of the story might be my favorite so far, but the whole series is complete and utter perfection. I love this author and shes hit that point where I really don’t care what she writes it will be an auto one click for me!!

5 out of 5 stars

I loved reading the story REBOUND (Rewind Book 4) by Rowan Shaw. It is a book that pulls you in from the beginning and doesn’t let you go until the final page. I loved reading about the character of Noah and Adrien. Noah believes that he has a wonderful life. His videos on a website are popular and he has a relationship with his boyfriend Hugo. His world changes when he is dumped by Hugo. Adrien is Noah’s best friend and ex-lover. He is the one that Noah turns to when his life crumbles. The only thing is that Adrien is with another. What does the future hold for Noah? He finds himself being supported by a woman in Adrien’s circle. Will she be the one that brings Noah happiness? Read this book to find out. This story is an emotional journey. Noah is a character that is likable and also someone that you want to find happiness. There are other characters that interact with Noah and I enjoyed reading about them as well. This is a story that can be read as a standalone. I personally have read the entire series and I found that I am glad that I did. This book is about acceptance and exploration. It is a book that I would highly recommend reading.

Ink's Devil: Satan's Devils MC (Colorado Chapter) #5Ink’s Devil: Satan’s Devils MC (Colorado Chapter) #5 by Manda Mellett
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Ink’s Devil by Manda Mellet is the fifth book in the Satan’s Devils MC Colorado Chapter series.

Holy smokes this book though it seemed longer than others in the series was good. Not sure how the boys in the Devil’s keep getting themselves into suck interesting situations but they do and this one was a big one.

Ink is a happy confirmed batchelor with no plans to change that. Then he meets Beth…..

Beth sees how happy her best friend Mel is with her biker and decides on their wedding night to give it a try.

There was no dull moments in this book and there was some seriously messed up things but I loved it.

I was lucky enough to get into the Colorado chapter from the beginning but I started in Tuscon and love each and everyone of these guys and watching them fall. Can’t wait to see who’s next. I think it will be Liz or Mace, leaning towards Mace and I can’t wait to watch him fall.

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Ink’s Devil by Manda Mellett is book five of the Satan’s Devils Colorado Chapter series. I suggest reading the series in order just because it gives you more of a background into the MC and other characters. Plus, the series is great so you can’t go wrong. This book is a romantic suspense. There are so many different aspects to this book. There’s mystery, suspense, and of course a little romance so there’s something for everyone.

Ink likes his single life. He has rules and he follows them no matter what. Until he meets Beth. Beth knows she shouldn’t expect anything from Ink. She knows not to fall for him but sometimes you can’t help what happens. Because of Beth, Ink ends up in jail is is facing a quite lengthy sentence. What will the future hold for Beth and Ink?

This book sucked me in from the beginning and I couldn’t wait to find out what was going to happen. I highly recommend this book!

Bisexual YouTuber Noah Perrin had everything he could dream of. His channel was thriving, and his ten-year relationship with his boyfriend Hugo was rock solid–or so he believed until Hugo dumped him.

Completely lost, Noah watched as his life began to fall apart–until one phone call to his best friend and ex-lover Adrien Dupuis changed everything.

Would Noah expose himself to more pain by moving in with Adrien—a man he’d always desired but could never have—a man already tied to somebody else?

Noah would have never guessed he’d find support in a woman from Adrien’s entourage—a woman who makes him an offer he cannot refuse—a chance to finally be himself, to finally be happy.

Was this offer the opportunity he’d always dreamed of or was it just another dream meant to fail and break his heart?

A Sun So Bright is the third book in Reigning Hearts Series by KG Fletcher. He’s just simply a genuinely good guy. He see the good in people and the bad. These two had an attraction towards one another and they had great chemistry as well. I literally devoured this book and by the end I was sad that I was done. I don’t want to give to much away. But just remember” don’t judge a book by its cover”. THE RUNAROUND: A Single Dad Romantic Comedy (CAROLINA CONNECTIONS BOOK 6) By SYLVIE STEWART – Review by Michelle Austin

The Runaround (Carolina Connections #6)The Runaround by Sylvie Stewart
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

The Runaround was a great 5 star read and book six in The Carolina Connections series.

Ari is a very busy woman with a lot of goals. She isn’t looking for any type of relationship. One night while DJing for Karaoke night she sees Jax. She had helped him a while back with his website and he is very hot. She is surprised when he approaches her and asks her for a favor, he would like her to give singing lessons to someone.

Jax was surprised with the news that he is a father. He is trying to build a relationship with his daughter so he gets her singing lessons with Ari. Ari is someone that he is very attracted to, but the timing is very off for any type of relationship for him. As they spend more time together, things start to change between them. They try to keep things a secret from their friends.

How long can they keep it a secret? Can these two get their lives straight and have something together?

Overall I really enjoyed this read. All of the secondary characters were great, I really liked Ari’s family. It was interesting to watch how their relationship developed and the direction it went. I’m really enjoying this series and I can’t wait to read more from this author.

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

“Lillie” by Mya O’Malley is the final book in the Maggie Trilogy. This one was by far my favorite of the three.

Just when Naomi thought she was moving on with her life with her new little family, a young friend from her past shows up. Of course this is no ordinary friend. It’s a spirit that has decided to “play” with Naomi’s stepdaughter, just like she did with Naomi when she was young. The story of Lillie is eerie and tragic. I thought it had a perfect ending though!

This is book 3 in this series, and while stated its a standalone, if you haven’t read the first 2 i highly recommend. Not only will this book pack a harder punch than it does, it gives some different perspective on into how and who Fiona is before this book.
I went into this book dreading reading about Fiona, she just didn’t sit well with me in the previous stories but I knew if she was getting her own book, we would learn much more into what makes her, her.
I will not be giving anything away about this story but it had it all. Laughs and chuckles, tears oh the tears, and so much love.
This book took me by surprise and I now love Fiona to death. And am so happy I found this series.

4 Stars!!!!

I have delved once again into the Evie’s world once again and I was not disappointed. I find the writer’s style refreshing and the subject matter unique. I like how there is a bit of intrigue built into the book and how the author deals with the subject matter. I find that Evie is very easy to relate to. I like how her character departmentalises her life in a way.

This book really starts to bring the story together and there are more clues to the stalker. Even though I don’t totally agree with Evie’s job I do like how she helps her clients. I really enjoyed this instalment of the series as things are starting to get sewn together and more of Evie’s life is falling into place with the past. I like how this book is leading into the next one. I feel how Evie is torn towards the end. Two men both deserving but each different. She has conflict but who will win out?I cannot wait for the next book. I will definitely be reading more from this author.

This is book three in what I have to say is an awesome series. Lillie, as a finale to this series, is a fantastic read. It is definitely my favourite of the three. It is a bit darker than the other two but there is good reason for it. The story is filled with drama, suspense and some danger. We learn more about Naomi’s past and the author does a wonderful job of tying all the books together. Seeing how all three books are connected, I do suggest reading this series from the beginning.

Naomi and Bryce are finally married but wedding bliss is not in the cards. Naomi realizes that Holly’s imaginary friend is actually a ghost. A volatile, angry ghost that haunted Naomi when she was little. It’s hard to calm a child when they are having a tantrum, imagine when that child is a ghost. This spirit might be the end of Naomi and Bryce’s happy ending. Despite the anger and violence, this lost soul has something to teach Naomi. Naomi just needs to be able to listen and understand her destiny.

This is the last book in this series and in my opinion the best one. I loved all three books but I feel as if the author saved the best for last. Although this book can be read as a standalone it’s my suggestion that you read all three in order for a better understanding and experience. We get to experience all the turmoil and triumphs that Naomi experiences throughout this series and it has been a very entertaining, exciting, and emotional one. In this book we get to meet Lillie and we were taken on a journey of danger, mystery, sadness, hope, and love. I loved this book and the entire series and I’m sad to see it end. I have read all of the books in this series, this one is my favorite yet. One of the things I enjoy most about this series, this book included is how the author is able to mix humor into her romance. Her characters bring the story to life with the connectivity and their chemistry. Ari is a woman who thinks there are more important things to life than romance. Jax is a single dad who has everything under control until he meets Ari. What fate has instore for them neither one will see coming. I highly recommend their story.
