Oscar and Emmy Foster Kittens is a wonderful children’s book with beautiful illustrations and has valuable teaching lesson to go along. Learning the value of fostering an animal is very important and as Abby and Charlie embrace wanting to help their local shelter foster kittens for the first time to help them be social and adoptable.
I love the lessons that this story teaches and how there may be a lot of work in fostering but it is also valuable to not only the kittens (or any animal), but also helps the shelters as well. Although this story is more for ages 5-10….I highly recommend this story even for the young at heart. This is a wonderful story.

Before you say I do by Mariana Hanna is a fast burn. There is spice.
Emma- Bartender. Doesn’t want a relationship, and only has one nightstand due to her ex.
Liam- Lawyer “hottie” who doesn’t want anything serious but also wants only Emma.
The MCs met at a bar and after weeks of trying to get with her, the MMC finally got her information and had a chance. After having “fun” a few times they decided to become FWB- MMC idea- but both right away feel more of a connection than just FWB and don’t speak on it. There are twists in the plot and has a HEA ending even though it seems it might not. I personally didn’t care for the beginning of the book, but it did get better so if you are struggling just give it some time before deciding if you want to continue or not.

Secrets of the Moon ( Chronicles of the Lost Child Series) is a Paranormal/YA/ Fantasy Romance that will have you turning the pages till the end. This is a fairly new author to me and I’m definitely going to check out what other books they have written. Their style of writing grabs you from the beginning and doesn’t let go till the end. The characters are developed, complex and connected. I truly enjoyed reading this book and highly recommend reading. I’m looking forward to reading more from this Author

I was drawn into this storyline right from the start and loved every minute of the book through to the end. Phoebe Alexander’s Sugar & Spice has so many unexpected events that you will not want to put the book down! I love how our main character, Jolie, role plays in a sweet factory as The Red Velvet Queen, what a great character that draws in such a huge audience to come and see her. Jolie is the perfect person to fulfill this role, but unfortunately, the pay and the benefits are just not enough for anyone to be able to support their family. This is especially true for Jolie, who is a single mom supporting her two sons, one of whom has a lot of medical problems, as well as her mom who lives with them to help out. Cy is one of the heirs to the Sweetopia business and is sent to go undercover to figure out who is heading up a group of disgruntled employees who are going to the press to disclose the unfair treatment that they feel they are receiving from the business. The second Cy sees Jolie, he falls head over heels in love with her and is torn between doing what his family expects of him or doing what he feels is right for the woman of his dreams. What a dilemma our characters find themselves in, will Cy and Jolie be able to work out their situation and make their relationship work, or will Cy’s true identity be too much for Jolie to accept? From the dynamic characters to the realistic descriptions that beautifully draw a picture of Sweetopia theme park, you will feel like you are right there along with the characters experiencing the fun, and magic of such a wonderous place, you can practically smell the divine scents of the baked goods. This was a surprisingly good book ! It took me a couple chapters to get really into , but once I did I couldn’t put it down . Good amount of spice , & it was delicious ! Sweet storyline & cute love story . Some parts of their conversations were a bit off for me , but still cute . Can’t wait to read the next ones !

The Closer is Book 3 in The Hustlers Series and wow…..I loved this enemies to lovers story, with dark and twisty secrets, romance, drama and chemistry off the charts between June and Dallas. While this book could be read as a standalone I highly recommend reading this series in order as characters are intertwined into this final book in the series. I am sad this series is over as I love the characters so much but I am also looking forward to more in the future from this talented author.
June is in need of help when a scandal hits one of her start up companies and the investor catch wind and starts pulling away. The one thing June did NOT want to rely upon for help was from Dallas Evener…the same man she never wanted to deal with ever again as their past history has been nothing nice. When June is at her wits end and makes a deal with Dallas for the financial help that she needs….things can get dirty. The title says it all. Charming Chapter. Chapter after chapter will have you turning the pages and living vicariously through the main female character Laura. Laura follows the advice of fellow bookclub members and travels overseas to learn of her ancestry. Great book.

Mistaken Identity (London Detective Agency Book 1)
I did something I didn’t think was possible, I read this book in one day and it was a holiday on top of that. But once I got started reading I had a very hard time putting it down.
One minute Evelyn is running through the airport with her biggest concern being making her connecting flight out of London. Running into a total stranger changes everything and thankfully it’s not all negative.
Evelyn and Patrick are like oil and water. Then they were so much more. Throw in running from dangerous people only adds to the danger and intrigue of their situation.
I will be keeping up with this series and hopefully will enjoy the next book as much as I enjoyed this one.

This is when Evelyn is practically abducted and comes face-to-face with a private investigator – who seems to be searching for her doppelganger. And this is where the adventure begins. Full of fast-paced, well-written mystery and chemistry, this book is a must-read that will leave you wanting more!
Secrets of the Moon was definitely an interesting read. Filled with drama, suspense, and a touch of romance. The overall storyline I found intriguing, while the actual delivery was a bit disjointed. I found some parts of the story to be fast-paced and full of information while other parts were disconnected and felt like it just reiterated what had already been told. I felt like Marjorie and her friends were portrayed more like high school age rather than early 20s. This was also the case for the community college setting; I felt like it was more like a high school rather than a college. The small-town setting, however, was perfect for this story. The world building of Kristy Centeno was pretty good though. I could see the shadows of the trees, feel the breeze on my face, and hear the sounds of the forest while reading. I felt that this book had a lot of potential, but fell just a little bit short of what I was hoping for. However, I would be willing to read more by Kristy Centeno.

Managing Mischief : A Billionaire, Bossy Male, Opposites Attract Romance (Shattered Embrace Series Book 2
This is a more serious book than the first but just as enjoyable. I absolutely adore Ashton, and admire her for stepping so far out of her comfort zone at the beginning and while submissive she didn’t lose her voice.
The twist in Atlanta caught me off guard, but I loved it. I hope it comes full circle before this series is done.
Zachary is a Dom in every aspect of his life. He takes control and gets most people to do what he’s needing with little argument.
I’m curious about the location of the Austin club since it’s home for me.
I hate the fact that I have to wait for the next book, but I’m expecting to enjoy Derek’s story as much as Zachary and Ashton’s
Diving into this book, I wasn’t sure what to expect. Of course, as it says in the title, this is a guide to yoga and meditation for children, but I got a deeper meaning from the reading/guide. There’s an underlying teaching of mindfulness towards the world, guiding the reader (presumably a guardian) to expand a child’s view of the word and be more understanding of others in their community – rather than solely focusing on internal mindfulness. That aside, there’s an active component to the guide that would make this a fun experiment and activity for young children. I would recommend this guide for teachers or daycares, as well as for families if they would like to use this resource to help children become more mindful while also proving fun activities for them to actively participate in.

This was a good 4 star read. I really liked these characters and their story right from the start. Emma has been hurt in the past and has a rule of one night stands only. However when she meets Liam things change. Liam suggests something to her that will change things for both of them. But, will they be able to stick to the rules or will their hearts get in the way. The author did a great job with her writing and I didn’t want to put it down. I had to see what was coming next. There are some twists and turns that added a great element to the story. This is a super fun read. It could definitely be a beach read, but don’t take it with you while you are vacationing at a cabin in the woods. The characters are wonderfully developed, and the author moves the plot along at a good pace. I’m a dog person, so I enjoyed the dogs, as well as the relationships of the pets with the main characters. Family relationships are explored, as well as the bond between different sets of twins.

This is a wonderful nonfiction read! I learned so much about England. I’m now determined to travel to England one day. There are so many things to see and do that I certainly never would have thought of on my own. You should read this book, if you want to be inspired to follow your travel dreams!

Finders Keepers Cowboy is a cute, clean romance. It was no surprise how it ended, but I still enjoyed the story along the way. Meg and Ryan have known each other practically their whole lives. Their family properties are next to each other, and Meg’s mom and Ryan’s grandfather are close friends. We get the feeling early on they dislike each other. However, we soon learn their irritations are masking deeper feelings. I like the characters, as each was strong and independent. Hank is a great addition and I love his character. The supporting characters were developed enough to feed into sequels, and I hope that is the direction the author is heading. We need to see what happens at Frontier Days and with the herd, decking and Hank’s big birthday bash. The last chapter was a little cheesy but wrapped things up nice enough.

This book was a great romance book with a few adult scenes but the story line is worth the read. Emma and Liam’s budding relationship continues to draw you in. It’s a perfect picture of people that have been jaded by previous relationships and don’t want to risk the hurt again. It keeps you guessing until the very end.

Echoing Hearts (The Echo Series Book 1) by C.R. Alam Rae Allen was living her life as a solo traveling blogger and spot lite writer for Home magazine. Rae was asked to take on an article for another writer who fell ill. Dean Rowland is a savvy media tech who is living his life with no strings attached after his fiancée ditched him at the altar. Neither one needed love in their life. When Rae and Dean’s lives crossed in Georgia, their first impression of each other made the weekend pretty awkward at first. However, Rae was a professional and would put writing the article about Dean’s house first. Once the article came out several months later, Dean and Rae didn’t expect their lives to cross again. Two hearts who are running from love, could they ever make a relationship work? This was a fantastic book. I loved the story between Dean and Rae! I can’t wait to read more books by this author.
His Forever Muse (The Echo Series Book 2) by C.R. Alam Brandon Rossi fell in love at just six years old with his best friend’s sister. She was untouchable though. After going their separate ways, fifteen years have passed. Brandon is part of a successful band and artist while Callie works in Paris in the art world. Brandon and Callie cross paths in Morocco while at a friend’s resort. Brandon refuses to let Callie slip out of his life again, so when Callie mentions living in Paris Brandon knows he has to go visit her. I love this new series! I can’t wait to see where this series goes!
Dangerous Rhythm (The Echo Series Book 4) by C.R. Alam When Curtis is in the wrong place, the wrong time. He witnessed a murder by one of the cruelest mob families in New York. When the head of his old security team from his rock band days shows up at his door with new information regarding the murder case he knows it can’t be good. The head of the Stelleto leaves a dead rat with a stiletto heel jammed through it. Now on the run to keep not only himself safe but now his family too but unfortunately the Stelleto’s goons are hot on their trail. I love this whole series. The author hooks you from the start and every page does not disappoint. I can’t wait to see what else this author comes out with.

What a cute story. I enjoyed Meg and Ryan’s relationship with all their highs and lows, endearing traits and annoyances with one another. The history between them and hopes for a different future. But honestly the connection to Montana and the history held my interest. What Ryan was willing to do to keep the entire community afloat and tourists still coming to the area was something I connected with. I really enjoyed Hank tho. His calm and cool personality, and yet saying things how he felt and trying so hard to help Ryan and Meg. Ryan and Meg’s story is cute and keeps you rooting for them as everyone else is as well. I am excited for this series to continue.

This is my first one of the North Fork Series that I’ve read. For the most part, I was able just to pick it up and read along with the storyline so no need to read previous ones but always welcome to grasp added details. The story focuses on Logan who bumps into Jinx, who is Logan’s best friend’s little friend. During his college years, Logan spent lots of time over at his best friend’s family home where Jinx and Logan got to know each other. Jinx started falling for him but after his abrupt departure, Jinx felt hurt. Now at a chance meeting at a wedding, they are both taken aback by each other and things start to rekindle for them. Especially after a disagreement between Vic, Jinx’s older brother and Logan, they develop this steamy connection. Their growth of attraction has its challenges but they find ways to work it out. Their character development and connection is great! Absolutely recommend this read for those romantic lovers out there!

The Changed Man (The Olympic Peninsula Series, Book 4) by Cat Treadgold. This is the 4th book in the Olympic Peninsula Series and each one gets better and better. This is Jake’s story who is the twin brother of country singer Jim Bob Blade. When he goes to Port Townsend to attend his other brothers wedding he sets tongues to wagging. He has quit his job as CEO of a big company and doesn’t really hides his frustrations at his brothers getting to live their lives and not have any worries. Jake gets a Victorian Mansion to live in and tries to deal with the loss of a dear friend. He’s also embarking on a new career, writing thrillers.

I loved this book! I’ve read other books in the North Fork Series but I feel Make Me Burn is my favorite. The author does what she always does and sucks you into a story and a book one can’t put down. This was really the beginning of a whole new cast of characters that I’m not sure will pop up again if the author continues the series. However, only time will tell. Jinx is floating through life. She wants that great love but every time she thinks she’s found it something is missing. Yet she could never figure out why till now, when the reason has made eye contact with her. The one that got away yet the one she can’t have. Her brother’s ex-best friend Logan. He’s the one she always wanted and was devastated when he left. She knew there was a falling out but she knew Logan and something was missing in the story. Logan never thought he’d see Jinx ever again. And now she’s more beautiful than ever. She spent Holidays and summers with her family during his college years, and he secretly couldn’t take his eyes off of her, she was just off limits. She was also the only one to ever understand who he truly was. Unfortunately she’s off limits. Warned off by Victor when he told him to “never come near his family and especially his sister again.” Does she still want him the way he wants her? Is he willing to risk everything including his heart for one night? That and so much more happens in this story. Are they able to overcome the obstacles they face? Well Jinx is determined to make that so. So jump on in, take a ride on the rollercoaster that is Logan and Jinx’s connection/relationship. You’ll want more. You’ll get upset with characters for decisions they made but will be happy with the outcome.

This was a great series that kept me wanting more. I liked not having to wait for the next one to come out. This series had lots or raw emotions and romance with twists thrown in. The author has a writing style that really hooks you from the start. I like when the author combines some action in with romance. There is a lot of character growth in this series and the author writes that really well. I will say the second book in the series was my favorite since I am all for friends to lover’s romances. I definitely recommend reading the whole series in order just to get the feel of the author.
