Group Hug is not a bad read however my personal thoughts are that the spice over powered what could have been an actual storyline! Don’t get me wrong spice is great but when it overpowers everything including the story itself it can be toned down. Many parts felt forced and lack the unison a book should flow with. I did really enjoy the multiple points of view. I also liked the potential that was there!

This book is all about Gabby and Colby. Her best friend is dating one of Colby’s closest friends and teammate Max. Colby and Gabby both annoyed me so much reading about them. They are both adults. Have spent a night or two together and now Gabby tries her hardest to stay away from him. He’s a player and she’s looking for her happily ever after. Especially after what she does thru this whole book to help Addie. The chemistry between Colby and Gabby is ridiculously insane. They cannot be close to eachother without wanting to Rip eachothers clothes off. As much as Gabby wants him, she fights her feelings pretty good. Colby is very possessive and cannot deal with seeing his friends so close to or touching Gabby. Neither one seems to be able to admit how much they really care for the other. Colby has had his heart ripped out by an ex and he wasn’t looking for anything more then a one and done type of situation but, He can’t seem to get Gabby out of his mind. Will these two finally decide to be honest with themselves and then eachother and take the plunge and be in a real relationship?

Once Selene arrives, she finds out the Island is owned by six gorgeous men but there are rumours that the island is cursed. Selene is determined to keep this job. She tries her hardest to follow the rules. Even the weird one of all residents on the island have to wear masks, from dusk to dawn, if they are to leave their room.
Selene soon finds out that the nights are full of mystery and passion and she is all for it. But it still isn’t enough for her. She wants to learn more about the supposed curse and about the men who own the island.
C.A. King is one of my favourite authors. Their books are usually short but packed full of detail leaving you with a fast paced adventure or romance depending on the book that leaves you satisfied but also wanting more. I highly recommend anything this author writes and this book is no exception. There’s mystery, intrigue, romance and steam all bundled up with an HEA.

I have loved every book in the Masters of the Consulate series so far, and this ranks as one of my favorites! While you could read this as a stand-alone, there are characters from other books included so it can help get the full effect reading them all. Plus, once you read one, you’re bound to go back and scoop up the rest of the series! With plenty of danger, mystery, romance, and of course, vampires, the author has created a truly remarkable tale between Master Botosoni and Catina. Their chemistry together sparks a fire throughout the book, and I couldn’t get enough so much so that I read it all in one go. The only complaint I could possibly have about this one is that I wish it was longer! I am on pins and needles waiting for the 10th book in the series so I can get wrapped up in this world again. I highly recommend picking this up especially if you like paranormal romance!

Perfect Office Pact is a sweet romance. The book was a fun, enjoyable read that I finished quite quickly. Mira has started at a new workplace and already knows the boss. Declan, who taught some of Mira’s classes, realizes that he sees Mira in a new light. The two have a conflict because Declan misstepped, and Mira could take it to the board. What should a guy do when he wants to know his employee better? I enjoyed the story and the tension between the characters. I had a hard time with Mira at times because I enjoyed that she was strong-willed and knew what she wanted, but at other times, I just wanted to be done with her because she was annoying. In the end, I liked her and how she was with Declan. The story was a fun, getaway and I look to read more from the author in the future.

Sasha Smart is a science nerd who is trying to find her way with who she is. At times she makes a hard decision that she ends up finding that she regrets other times she stays true to who she is but causes issues with others.
This book is full of stories that I think children will gravitate too. Beautifully illustrated with stories that revolve around issues that happen in class while interacting with others. I thought this book was filled with honest solutions to conflicts. Really well done, is a great book for any age in school. I appreciated the end of the book has a bunch of activities for kids.

Master Botosoni is the ninth book in the Masters of the Consulate Series. I’ve read a few books in this series and while some have been in order I’ve also skipped around and while the characters and small things cross over from book to book they can also be read as a standalone story without feeling like you missed out on a lot. Each story that I have read has been solid and well written with complex, interesting characters, and Master Botosoni was no different. I know that when I pick up a dark paranormal romance novel from Sylvia Black I know I am in for a quick, fast paced, edge of your seat, steamy read. I like how Sylvia portrays the men in this series because what is hotter than Bossy, Alpha, fiercely loyal, loving, Vampire men. Of course the FMC, Catina, is falling in love with Master Botosoni. She is also a big asset to the war between the witches, shifters, and humans that is still going on, and havoc is still occurring in all the masters regions. Will the vampires still be standing in the end or will the shifters prevail? Only time will tell. I look forward to continuing this series.

The story of Riley and Cole. When Riley and her mother move into Cole and Damon’s home its fair game. Cole will do anything he can to get rid of Riley and her mother the one who ruined their lives. If looks could kill or smolder with lust Cole and Riley would win the biggest prize out there. They can’t keep their eyes off one another yet, they love to hate one another. Riley has her own set of issues which keeps her from getting close to anyone, and now they are under one roof as their parents are getting married. However, Riley has a dark secret one that Cole will do everything in his power to uncover but at what cost. A great read.

One day, a girl moves into her room called Urd and she immediately feels like she wants to get to know her, even though it is a terrible idea, but she does anyway and it all goes well until a person with extremely high privilege and abhorrent tasted arrived to take Xenobia and Urd away. This spurs the two on to escape, but will they be able to, it will trouble find them anyway and to what lengths will Xenobia go to to protect her friend?
This is a short story with plenty of action and emotional turmoil packed into it’s pages and is a brilliant novella by this author.
This one picks up right where book one ends and just like the first one it was great. This time I had no problem sinking right into Cole and Riley’s world. I’m sad to leave these characters because they really captured a piece of my heart. Cole had me cursing his name a lot but you can’t help but understand that underneath it all he’s just hurt by his past. Riley will always have my heart she’s got sass and I just overall loved her character. There’s romance, suspense and everything I love in a story. I’m looking forward to more from this author. Five stars and highly recommended!

This book is a quick and easy romance story that pulls you in right from the start and has you invested in the characters for the whole time. I enjoyed reading this book and I am looking forward to what else this story has to offer.

Zachary & Ashton pulled me into their world effortlessly and I loved my time with them. I love Ashton’s character she may be a submissive in parts of her life but don’t mistake her for a doormat or some shy person. She’s so sassy and I love everything about her. Zach will give you all the heart racing vibes. There’s plenty of heat but this author doesn’t over do it, there’s plenty of great written story with steamy parts sprinkled in. I will say while obviously we’re all about the main characters, you’ll also really enjoy the supporting characters also. I really enjoyed my time with this book and definitely can’t wait for more. Four big stars and highly recommended!
This book is a well written and detailed historical romance story and it really felt like it connected with the characters. Their struggles, their fights and the journeys they go on all felt so real and relatable and even though it is a time and place I have no experience of. The author has done an amazing job of transporting you into the story and I loved watching it all unfold. This author is one that I have read a few books previously and they are always this good. I thoroughly enjoyed this book from start to finish and I am looking forward to the next book.

I really enjoyed this book! It is an alternating point of view, but not chapter by chapter, more like by section. Bailey, one of the main characters, is in her late 30s, a widow, raising two teenage girls, and is one of the VPs at her company. She is likeable and so real. She is doing really well in work and life until a few brushes with the CEO of the company. He is handsome and has brushed by her and sent sparks through her body. They end up on the same plane and sitting next to each other. Bailey was rushed and almost missed the plane and then was overwhelmed and nervous to be sitting next to Fox, the CEO. Fox is a divorced dad of two teenagers and spends a lot of time at work and the rest with his boys, but Bailey has caught his eye on more than one occasion. Fox is handsome and also a really likable character, a good man. Bailey starts to relax when talking about work and they enjoy talking for the two hour flight. When they are walking in the airport Fox asks her out, clumsily because he hasn’t dated much since his divorce. They both have so many questions: Will they be allowed to date? Will dating be worth the trouble and work it will take with HR? Will they both be able to overcome some issues from their past? They decide to give it a go in secret and the sparks fly. This book is more romance than spice and was a quick page turner. The author is working on a series and I can’t wait to read more!

This book is part of a series with some overlapping details and background information, so I do recommend reading the other books first. However, it can be read as a standalone because the story focuses on its own two main characters and is told from each of their POV. This book is the story of Master Botosoni, a vampire with a thirst for blood, and Catalina, a down-on-her-luck psychic. Master Botosoni will do anything to stop the rogue vampires and as fate would have it Catalina is the one who can lead him to them. Their romance is forbidden but the chemistry between them is off the charts and undeniable. Will Catalina choose Master Botosoni and immortality in the name of love? A great read with high stakes, vampires, witches, shifters, pure bloods, magic, and a feud that has been going on for centuries. The vivid scene descriptions and wonderful characters fully immerse you in the story and keep you hooked until the final pages. Bring on the next book!

My kids loved this book and made me read it to them several times. they love Cray and Hay and their woodland adventures.
As a parent I really like how the characters show kids it’s okay to be scared and how to overcome it and be brave. I think this would also be a great resource for teachers as well.

As a parent I enjoyed this book because it teaches kids the importance of telling the truth and self accountability.

I will also note that I found it interesting how the author blended the old-world vibe in with more modern vibes. Keeps the reading experience fresh.

This book is so much fun! This is actually the first MMF story that I have felt drawn to ready, and I’m glad I did! It is for mature readers, but I did not find the sexy parts distracting or over-gratuitous at all. The characters are unique and well-developed and the way they intertwine makes the story compelling and relatable. Weston, Petra, and Callum find themselves as roommates, and the reader gets to watch the chemistry brew until it bubbles over. To be totally honest, I chose the book because of the cover – because dogs – and, boy, was I ever pleasantly surprised and swept off my feet! I am intrigued by this author and am glad I picked this up. I highly recommend this book even if it’s not something you would normally reach for.

I found this a really interesting read. As this is a story about America and it’s history I went into it not knowing very much, however the authors amazing attention to detail and the research that was put into it really brought it to life for me. As well as all the historical references which I loved the author has created characters which are great and really make you invested in their stories and their lives and how everything that was happening at the time affected them no matter their social status, colour or job. Everyone was affected by the happenings of this time and it was humbling to read about the struggles that went on for a lot of people during this time. There is so much going on in this story with danger, corruption, war, hope, dreams of freedom and so much more than I can ever explain. It is a book which it keep you reading until the end and as it is book 1 in the Freemen and Dreamers series I can’t wait to read more.

I have been reading this series for a while and enjoy this author. The storyline moved quickly and characters from past books played a role in this book. The traitor was a surprise to me and left me wondering if I had misread past books! I would have liked to have had more information about moments in the book, or more set up for things that occurred. It seemed like an event happened and then there was a little bit of information after the fact. This author is usually very thorough with their writing, so I was a little surprised by it. However, because I have read the previous books, I could fill in information on my own. All in all, this installment moved the series forward and is setting up for the finale.

A short story that packs a lot into just a few pages. The intensity and the dialogue kept up the whole time but there’s still a lot of emotional pull throughout. This is a great opening into the first book of the series and I can’t wait to read more in this series.
This is a nice slow burn, clean read, romance. I feel Mira’s character started out strong; I really liked that she knew what she wanted, wasn’t going to take any crap, and pushed herself. During the half way point she really started to bug me and I felt she needed to get over herself. I enjoyed the other characters, Cade is great and I’m glad they developed a friendship. Usually having so many characters to keep up with bothers me but I felt the amount of characters interacting in the book was good and no one clashed to make it confusing. I really liked her friends and glad to see there are other books with her friends romances. I do wish there was more of the actual relationship of Mira and Declan but I am glad they got their happy ending. The short time we see them together I feel they had good chemistry so I’m not mad with the ending.

I had read a few books from this author but this series is by far my favorite. This is the sixth and final book of the epic relic hunters series. This time when I started to read this book it was bittersweet. I really wanted to read the conclusion of this story but I didn’t want it to end. I could not put this book down until I finished it and it only took me a few hours. I can’t wait to see what this amazing author will write next.
Adam and Matt are finally getting to know about their family history. They only have one more mystery to solve and that could be the biggest myth of all. The Hunter brothers are going to find out if there was truly the wonderful world of Atlantis. They are not the only ones that are searching for Atlantis. The brothers rivals are also searching and they won’t let them find it first. Adam and Matt need to find it so they can protect with is their family history. Will the brothers find what they are looking for or will someone else get there before they can?

I have read a couple of books from this author and she continues to blow my mind. This is the first book in the very addictive series Hidden Valley. I love good enemies but lovers’ stories and this one is in my top three. I think you should read the prequel to this book just so you know the back story. I love how this author writes from both of the characters’ points of view. It makes me feel more emotionally connected to them. I can’t wait to read book two.
Riley and her mom move a lot but when they come back to the small town again she is shocked. She is going to the Hidden Valley High now and she already has made an enemy Cole. He remembers who this girl was and he is not going to let her forget it. When Riley finds out that her mom is dating Cole’s father it gets even worse for her. Riley has secrets that she doesn’t want to find out but when her past comes back to haunt her will she turn to her enemy for help?
