Cute book. Teaches kids to let their dogs enjoy play time. Ways to help stimulate them by playing hide and seek with foods and treats. Shows you how to let your dog guide you way when out and about. We really enjoyed this book.

Return to the northwest with this series of novels. Leap into the world of the theatrical with this installment. When families intertwine, the drama ensues, and not merely the theatrical kind. There are so many sets of twins, you may lose your head trying to keep it all straight. Add in a modern romance, and this book is a winner for sure!

I was nervous to read and unpack this story due to past experiences of my own.. however, I found the journey beautifully healing. Tina is a complex soul just trying to survive the world that broke her. The experiences are raw and emotional, and all too real. The author did not hold back and while some may find that triggering, I appreciate it. Tina’s healing journey was emotional and heart wrenching, but everything I needed to experience with her. There were a lot of loose ends in the story, but I know that leaves rooms for other characters to develop and the story to continue which I am SO here for!

Porter and Midge: Paw and Playtime is a fun, educational and colorfully engaging story. Lora and CJ take their dogs, Porter and Midge around to learn all about new activities that can the dogs be happy and healthy. Learning as we go from food and treats to sensory and sniffing. Lora and CJ learn so much to help Porter and Midge gain confidence in teaching them daily and taking it slow each day.

This story can be enjoyed from young to young at heart. I even learned some new activities I can work with my dog, Boe. This is a great story and I love the educational value and learning lessons.

Orenda is book 2 in the Latitude series and I highly recommend reading this series and include
The Antipodes series as well! I always look forward to when the next books come out…. giving me all the feels that I love with dystopian romance, adventure, drama, intensity and a journey with the next steps with some twists and turns.

Caitlin and Gio are navigating what is next come between marriage and becoming ambassadors along with parenting, it can be a lot to take on. As they build a life together in Canada…an enemy from the past is back…will this impact Caitlin and Gio and their loyalty to each other ….

I love that the author takes me on a journey with each book and with the elements of sci fi just brings added new flavor that I love….I was turning the pages and at the edge of my seat with this book….trying to see what happens next!!

An interesting Sci-Fi deep space novel. Trigger Warning, there are parts in the novel that can be very triggering! A very well written second book from this author. It was suspenseful, edgy, fast-paced but well rounded, dare I say, it was a satisfying read. I will honestly say that I did not expect much going into this book but I am glad that I gave it a chance and stuck through the hard parts. I highly recommend this book!

This story hits my heart really close to home. Tina is in pain, traumatized, lost a part of herself that she can never get back, and yet she fights through it all because she is a survivor. I wanted to jump into the pages so bad to give Tina a big momma hug. That being said, this author does a beautiful job at dealing with such a delicate subject. I highly recommend but please take in account your mental health.

I love how this book goes from one end of the script and then flips it on Andrea. From skeptic of afterlife to being a ghost in the afterlife. She and her new found friend begin to share stories as she slowly comes to terms with her death. I am beyond jealous of all the traveling she has done but it made for a good book. I recommend this book.

Seraphina definitely has more Sass than the rest and I absolutely loved that about her! With this assignment she needed that for sure! I truly love this author and her creativity. I am a fan and always will be.

Another really great read by this author. Another book in the Echo Series that can be read as a stand alone or as part of the series in order, of which this is book 4.<br />We follow Curtis, after witnessing a murder he needs to stay out of the public eye, which is not easy when you are guitarist for a band as famous as his is.<br />Lina Cheung has worked security for the band before, but is now pulled in to be Curtis’ private body guard. Can they stay ahead of the Stiletto crime family , can they stay away from each other..<br />A fast paced and swings from the issues both Lina and Curtis have from their past, touching on issues with PTSD as well as blending many cultures on their travels trying to stay out of the limelight.<br />I cannot wait to read more from this author. Her world building and character development is really good.<br />

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This is the second book in the Shadow Defense Security Series. Even though it is part of a series, each book is about a different member of the team so they can be read as a standalone. However I feel once you have read one you will want to read more to discover every member of the team. These book are romance Suspense read with a touch of enemies to lovers, lots of sizzling chemistry and danger really makes this story a gripping read. We’ve got a protective male and a female who is strong willed and no damsel in distress so she doesn’t make his life easy.

This is Pavlov and Regan’s story. Pavlov and Regan are on the same book tour, both promoting this new books. However they can’t stand the be around each other. Regan sees him as a alpha male and from past experience she wants nothing to do with men like that.
Pavlov sees Regan as a woman who is stubborn and strong willed and to much hassle. He plans to get through this book tour and go their separate ways with as little interaction as possible.
However that all changes when Regan and her daughter are threatened and despite himself Pavlov can’t help but step in to protect her, whether she wants his help or not.
Who is threatening Regan? Do they pose a serious danger? Can Pavlov protect her and her daughter? And what happens when it becomes impossible to keep his distance anymore and feelings start to become more complicated.

I love these books. Each guy is unique and the story’s are fast paced with engaging characters which makes them an enjoyable read.

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Seraphina is the 4th book in the Heartstrings series by Brooke May. Although this is part of a series this is the first book I have read by this author and was able to read as a standalone. Seraphina is a cupid, sent by the actual Cupid to take on cases on earth and help two people find their love. When she is tasked with helping hockey player Seth, she finds herself facing a familiar challenge. She has attempted to help Seth twice before without success, but she is determined to get it right this time. She just needs to take the right approach. I liked this book; it was a fun premise and easy to read. I felt it could have been longer as it seemed that the characters personality switched really fast, but I was a fun romance story.

Wicked Ends: A Dark College Bully Romance (Hidden Valley Elite Series, Book 8 ) by Isla Vaughn – Review by Jessica Stone

I can’t say it enoughhhh, I absolutely love this book series! The boys, major heart eyes, and the lovely ladies, they’ve all quickly grown on me. But I cannot stress this more, you have to start from the very beginning, there is no hopping in Willy Nilly, you will be VERY lost and lose out on some awesome character building, family building, relationship drama loveliness.

I believe this character is going to finish out this series, the broody last brother Shane, personally I believe he’s a bit more of a tortured soul then the other boys were but, that’s a personal opinion. I’ve enjoyed how every book gets a bit more, crazy, mores going on, building up, headed towards a crazy climax.

Winter, to be honest, not my favorite character, she rubbed me a bit raw with her treatment of Shane in the past, but as always if I start out not to keen on a character somehow Isla pulls out a perfect redemption for them and by the end I’m sold. I’m pretty sure I spent the first half of this book holding my breath, trying to keep it together, these poor boys have been through the wringer but, worth it. All of it was perfectly crafted, this whole series, each individual character and their stories which all tie perfectly together. I can’t praise this series enough.

I will definitely be going back through and re reading from the beginning of this series when it’s finished just to get the full experience back to back cohesively, though it won’t be like reading them the first time, I have high hopes it’ll be just as good even knowing what’s going to happen.

Wicked Ends: A Dark College Bully Romance (Hidden Valley Elite Series, Book 8 ) by Isla Vaughn – Review by Donya Pedigo

Wicked Ends (Hidden Valley Elite #8)Wicked Ends by Isla Vaughn
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This series is such an awesome read about the four elite guys at Hidden Valley School and the girls they care for. I would suggest reading this series in order, not because you have to, but because it’s a great series, and you get to see a lot about each of the main male characters as they are present in each other’s stories and lives, being as they are all four related and best friends as well. Also note, this series has two books, a continuation duo for each of the four heroes, making it an eight-book series with a novella that comes before the first book in the series.

This is the conclusion to Shane and Winter’s story as well as the finale of the series, and though I’m sad to see it go, I’m so glad I found it to begin with. Isla Vaughn has written a phenomenal series here with love, danger, teen angst, drama, and so much more! I can’t wait to see what this author does next!

Shane and Winter have both faced a lot in their lives and they both carry emotional baggage and damage from their pasts! Can two damaged souls learn to trust each other and find something beautiful within the other? Will the danger surrounding them come crashing down on them? Find out these answers and more in this amazing finale!

It is also amazing to get to see the 5-year time-lapse at the end of the book, where we can see what the couples are up to and how they have grown etc. or if they are still together. Because can these couples who have faced so much really get past their Savage, Brutal, Cruel, and Wicked realities to find their happily ever afters?

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I love this series! This author keeps you enraptured in the story being told. Dangerous Rhythm is the next installment in the series. Bringing us back to one of the band members as a focus in the story. Each story focuses on specific characters that are minor supporting characters in previous books. These books may be part of a series but work very well as standalone novels.
Curtis finds himself in an unfortunate situation. A witness to murder. But not just any murder one committed by one of long standing crime families in the city. He wants to do what’s right, not realizing his life is at risk. Enter the woman who drives him crazy.
Lina runs to Curtis the minute she finds out he’s in danger. Planning to stick with him and protect him from the threat. What she didn’t expect was him having the ability to break her resolve.
Will those feelings have consequences?
We follow Curtis and Lina on the run of their lives. Lines get crossed. Unfavorable decisions are made.
Will it all be worth it in the end?
This is a thrilling romance worth reading. Well the whole series is!

Grave Digger Academy IV (Grave Digger Academy Series) by C.A. King – Review by Donya Pedigo

Grave Digger Academy IVGrave Digger Academy IV by C.A. King
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This is the fourth installment of the Grave Digger series and while you can read it as a standalone, I’d definitely recommend reading the books in order, as a lot happens that you don’t want to miss out on. C.A. King has written this amazing, enjoyable YA paranormal series that encompasses not only magic, secrets, and dangerous adventures, but fun to get to know somewhat quirky characters.

Can Makayla trust anyone, especially since Grave Digger Academy has a new sheriff in town, aka Headmistress Ulva Everbleed? Getting a new headmistress from whom they expected is not only strange but leads to several mysteries that no one will seem to give Makayla answers for, so it’s up to her to find out what’s going on at the academy. Being stuck at Grave Digger Academy was never where Makayla wanted to be, but over her last several years there she has become excited about the academy and her ragtag group of friends. It isn’t until she gets her letter and returns that she finds some of her friends missing while others ignore her. What’s going on? Why did her friends not get letters back to the academy, and why are there so many more people there than usual? What are the crones letting happen, and why do they seem worried about Makayla?

This is such a fast, fantastic read where we are drawn even more into Makayla’s world! If you like magic, adventure, and mysteries, then you definitely need to check out this series!
