This book is a little different for this author but I really enjoyed reading it. This is a journal story that will help you declutter your heart of feelings. It will help you clear the past and learn to have a bright future. You will find healing and peace in this book. This is a book that is easily relatable to. There is something for everyone who wants healing of the heart. I enjoyed this book and I highly recommend it.

This is the first book in the Wolfbane series. It is a paranormal romance which has twists and turns, fated mates, hot sexy alpha and beta werewolves and one girl torn between the two. This story was a fast paced read and had characters you will love and also hate. It is a story of finding your fated mate but also a story of friendships and how they can go from positive to negative and toxic. We have four main characters in this story and each on is unique. Firstly we have Jasmine. She is a firm believer of following the rules set out by her pack and her parents and vows to keep herself for her mate alone that is until temptation is placed in her way in the shape of the new Alpha Blake.
Blake had it all including his mate until she was taken away from him. He now lives life on his terms and is determined to not let another woman close until he meets Jasmine. Something about her draws him to her and even though he knows she isn’t his mate it doesn’t mean he can stop the attraction he feels towards her.
Then we have Luke and Lucy. Lucy is Jasmine’s best friend and unlike Jasmine she doesn’t want to wait for her fated mate. She wants to choose her mate and she chooses Luke. Luke knows that Lucy isn’t his mate but is happy to go along with it. That is until he finally meets his mate Jasmine. The lengths Lucy goes to destroy any chance of Luke and Jamaine being together really made me dislike her. She acts like a child who can’t get her own way. Saying that Luke was just as bad thinking with another part of his body instead of his head which leads to problems with Jasmine.
Through all this story my heart goes out to Jasmine and Blake. All Jasmine wanted was to find her mate and for him to have saved himself for her like she has for him and it breaks her heart when she realises who her mate is. My Heart also broke for Blake. As he got closer to Jasmine his feelings towards her start to change from friendship to something more but with the arrival of her mate he has to face losing someone he cared about again.
This was a gripping story that I couldn’t put down. The author’s writing was great to have 4 characters and to leave me with such strong emotions about each character is unique for me as a reader. I can’t wait to see what else this series brings.

Reckless Love (The Bennetts of Langston Falls Book 4) by KG Fletcher. I love this series and this author so I was not surprised I loved this book so much. Its the story of Becky and I was so ready for it. Becky has her life pretty together but she feels like something is missing or wrong. She has her own cooking show on you tube that tons of strangers see, she takes care of her brothers and dad and also does all the planning at the family farm but she still feels like she is missing out on something in life. Glen has had a rough past and caused a lot of people a lot of heartache. Becky decides to forgive Glen and maybe that will be the thing she’s needing in her life. When she does the attraction they feel for one another is explosive. But when he hurts her and she walks away he’s determined to make it right. Will Becky’s family forgive Glen enough so that they can be together? Such a good slow burn romance!

This book has everything packed into it. It is an amazing start of a series. This book is a quick read because it sucks you into the characters and the plot. It will have you ignoring what you need to be doing in order to continue reading to see what happens. The character growth is spot on and it doesn’t feel like it is rushed or dragged out. The author gives background information, this allows the reader to have a more complex understanding of the story and the characters. It is written in multiple person point of view, which I love because I feel like it gives you more depth and better understanding why something is happening. The inner turmoil that is presented relatable when dealing with making the right or wrong decisions. Everyone has been there where they wonder if following what someone is telling you to do or your own gut is going to be beneficial. This book has moments of suspense, intrigue, steam, love, and amazing characters with great personalities. This is a very strong beginning of a series book and I can’t wait to read the next one in the series. I am such a fan of this series. Logan is such a strong character. She does what needs to be done. The story had strong writing. I found the characters to be very relatable. Those Rogues are still at it. In this chapter of our continuing Masters saga, we meet Master Sardinia, hottie extrodinaire. The author can make the room temperature rise with her descriptions of the Masters. I do believe this is the hottest of them all (sorry, Descalia fans). He and the rest of the gang have assembled to hunt the rogues, shifters, etc. who are reported to be in his area. I love that ever one from the other stories has returned. We even get a sub story with tension between Luca and Embry. Sorry man that pisses her off. But Sardinia has his hands full with an annoying psychic. The chemistry between the two is off the charts!! (along with the tension). They have major baggage to deal with and that’s what makes the story fun to read. It’s an adventurous battle all the way through. You should really read this series. It’s fantastic. I had though this was the end of the series…. but no, cliffhanger!!!! and doozy!!! I’ll be eagerly awaiting the next book in 2024. Reasons I enjoyed this book:

This is my first YA dystopian book. I have read NA dystopia’s and thy weren’t nearly as good as this book. It handled topics like rebellion, love, grief ect.. fairly well and I was impressed. Lexi is a strong willed, stubborn character. It starts off with Riley getting a spouse that she’s not too fond of, and a dedicated job, but her consequences come swiftly in leu of her gaming the system. Tragedy strikes, and Riley is unsure of what to do. My daughter and I read this together, and she absolutely loved it. We can’t wait for the next book to come out next, because we want to know what happens!

The cover is what caught my attention for this book, and reading it was just as amazing. This book was captivating right from the beginning, and I couldn’t pt it down. Riley is an amazing character that has to deal with so much in this book, as a teenager that is about to shift or does, she? This book is filled with so much from danger, suspense, adventure, twists and turns, and so much more. If you love vampires, witches, werewolves, and the supernatural, this book will not disappoint.

Fenimore James is a dreamer and wants to move away from his home, so he decides to run away and join the Outlaw gang run by Red Evans. So as he is established himself with in the group he changes his name and becomes Simon Shaw.
Simon sees the sheer brutally of the gang with some things he wished he had not witnessed but while he is trying to reconcile with this life within the gang and the crimes committed he is also battling with in his private life. While struggling to come to turns with the attraction to another gang member they are forced to hide the relationship and have snatched moments beings the two of them together and become a strong couple.
But in the meantime some one is killing the gang and can they find the person or are they all in the killers cross hair.
This is a chunky book but it needed to be to tell the story properly, I loved the discovery journey Simon had through the book and him just wanting to be part of a family which in the end was not quite what he expected. The story was great to read to see another era and racing through the trilling twists and turns made this a great story to follow and be immersed in. I loved the writing and the characters were well developed and added to the whole book.

This was quite the thrilling adventure. It did remind me in some ways, such as the zones (ex. poverty) of The Hunger Zone. This was a story I couldn’t put down. It’s a crazy world (who knows, could our world end up that way?). I couldn’t put it down. I was totally drawn in by the characters. I am usually turned right off a story with nonbinary. The pronouns make it to hard for my brain to comprehend at time (complications from surgery). The AI boss being that way was so interesting that I had to see where that went. It was a totally good story all around. I’d put it right up there at the top. This is a must read dystopian/scifi/fantasy. Excellent story.

This book was a fantastic read! I felt like it had the perfect supernatural balance between the community. Not one get more “screen” time, each one gets about an equal amount. Riley lives in a very “cult-like” village. Nobody is allowed beyond the fence. It’s a dangerous world outside the fence. So when some new students from outside of the fence are welcomed into their little village, Riley is instantly enamored. Especially one particular character. But his knowledge and help come with a price. A steep price. Does she risk everything to go beyond the fence? Or does she stay in her town where it is “safe?” I seriously can’t wait to read the 2nd book to see what happens!

Until one day an explosion rips through the city and uncovers bones that may be beyond her expertise and requires help to answer the questions.
Ben Roberts is an expert in the world of Anthropology and when he receives a request to help with the Medical Examiners office this peaks his interest especially when the examiner is Trudy. Ben and Trudy start to work on finding the identity and the reasons behind the death but as they investigate more and more it becomes more intense, but when they uncover secrets and things people want to keep quiet but as they become more involved in the case there chemistry increases and in the end can they solve the mystery?
I loved all the books in this series so far and this one is just as good, although this is the third book you can feel comfortable reading as a stand alone story, although previous characters are referenced it does not take away from the story or the relationships.
The drama building in this story was well written and the book flowed with the thrilling twists and turns. I have loved Trudy as a character in the other books but you really get to see her tick in this story and Ben adds the chemistry of passion and love for her in the best possible way. I also love the way Trudy truly cares about the dead, always wanting to help with the narrative and story of how they ended up where they did which means at times she wears her heart on her sleeve.
I can’t wait to read the next book in this series and hopefully more to comes.

This book started off hilarious. I loved knowing everything that Fenimore (Fenny or Simon if you prefer) is thinking down to his most intimate or silly thoughts. It really gives the reader a better idea of the main character, which is always great. The one thing I have to say about so much detail though, is that I wish the non important information was left out. There is so much detail that I felt like I had to weed through what information I needed for the plot and what information I did not need.
I also feel like with so much information, it could have been separated into smaller chapters. There was also confusion when the author used the first and last name interchangeably. When they were talking about Monty Parker, but instead of saying Monty, Parker was used to reference the character, I had to go back and re-read multiple times.
HOWEVER, this book has everything. It is historical fiction, mixed with LGBTQ+ romance, along with a mystery/thriller. I highly recommend to anyone looking to find a new, different book. I loved the characters, especially Simon and Monty. They are great characters with amazing personalities. Even though they are part of a gang, they are so kind and gentle as you get to know them. You will not regret picking this book up.

This was a fantastic start to this series with a great mix of characters and an interesting storyline. Some characters I loved, some I wanted to reach through my I pad screen and forrid slap them and others I just plain thought were selfish brats who I hated. I think the fact that these characters brought out these emotions in me shows what a wonderful author Ms Hart is! She really brought the pack to life for me. So much so that as soon as I finished reading this book I brought the next two! I can’t wait to get reading!!

This was an amazing book! I loved that you never know what to expect, there are so many surprises on every page, and it was exciting. I love that the characters are so dynamic, and each has their own uniqueness about them. I loved getting to know Jasmine, and seeing how completely opposite her best friend, Lucy, is from her. Jasmine is our main character who begins this story as the werewolf who lives her life as close to the rules set by her parents, as she possibly can, following strict religious beliefs that had been taught her whole life until she meets the soon-to-be alpha werewolf, Blake. He is your typical bad boy, conceited, lady’s man, party boy who isn’t used to being told no by anyone, especially the ladies. This makes the chase for Jasmine’s attention a challenge he’s excited to take on. Luke, who is Lucy’s attractive boyfriend at the beginning of the story, also happens to be someone that Jasmine has a major crush on. Once Lucy turns of age for the mate bond to take effect, she is sorely disappointed that Luke is not her mate. Luke also happens to be Blake’s soon-to-be beta. What happens when Luke finds his mate, will he be able to give up on his love for Lucy to follow the mate bond, or will he be willing to reject his mate and stay with the woman he loves, Lucy? Will Blake be able to seduce Jasmine into a relationship based more on friendship, if so, what happens when she finds her own mate? There are a lot of circumstances that are hard to take within this book, but it all helps to build up the character’s personalities, as well as the depth of their feelings. I was so happy to find out that there are 2 more books in this series because you do end on a cliffhanger, which leaves you wanting more. This is the first book that I have read from these authors and now they have a new fan. I love a good sports romance but this story exceeded all my expectations. Life, Death, Learned. Magic can be dangerous. This is the first book I have read by Debbie Hibbert and there are not enough words to describe her talent. CeCe Leblanc is sixteen in New Orleans, she’s a necromancer and a week at drama camp has become so much more. CeCe and her best friend Portia have been looking forward to Drama Camp for ages it seems, each for different reasons. CeCe loves to learn and participate in as many classes as possible. Portia is the eldest of six and needs a break from her chaotic home life before summer break starts. At the age of six CeCe learned in a traumatic way that she has necromancy magic when her dog Max died, and she raised him. Her mother told her that her magic was too much and instantly disappeared. Her father and his mother, Mawmaw raised her and helped her learn about her magic, not fearing it or her for it. Over the past decade CeCe has been her father’s secret weapon in countless murders, helping him catch the killers and bringing justice to the families, and peace to the spirits. One last visit to the morgue with her dad before camp changes everything. He said the case was weird, the wounds seeming to come from the inside. Unable to see the face to help she goes to camp and quickly is “spirit-kidnapped” in her nightmare, a Caster that has dirty magic leaves not only physical bruises on her but black magic tinging her. Zach, the cute guy at camp, has mixed reactions to her until she confronts him and after Ancestor Night at camp she truly understands why. He could sense the black magic on her and tells the reason he refuses to use magic or date someone with it. Zach warms her cold magic with his warm magic. The Caster needs her magic and haunts her in many ways trying to get it. Who is The Caster? Why do they need her magic? Can CeCe help Zach see that magic isn’t all bad that it truly can be good and help others. Having been to New Orleans earlier this year for the first time I absolutely fell in love with the place, and reading this helped me imagine I was there again. The characters are a wonderful blend, each having their place of importance without taking anything from the other characters and helping the main characters evolve with the progression of the story. I honestly could not stop reading and at every turn found I couldn’t catch my breath as I rushed to the end. Can’t wait to dive into another work by this author. Instant new favorite book for the year so far.

Logan just can’t catch a break!! She takes her family on vacation and trouble seems to follow her wherever she goes. She and Ben go on a boat/fishing excursion and at the conclusion of that, they both witness an argument because the boat’s captain and a former employee. The next thing they know, the boat captain is dead and Logan’s phone is found and is evidence towards finding the one who did it.
This one has a pretty diverse cast of characters and the stories are becoming more developed as the series continues. I’m really enjoying this series!

This is my first time picking up a story by these authors Giselle Nevada and Jennie Chen. Reading I thought it was a really good book to have in your book collection. I think its for all ages but especially for Little ones. This book was really informative about how to play and respect the boundaries of yours and other dogs. I really liked the artwork, it was very colorful. It caught and kept the attention of my little one🥰. Definitely going to be buying my nieces and nephews copies so they can also learn from this information. We are a family of dog lovers here ❤️ looking forward to reading more from these amazing authors.

Wolfbane (Wolfbane Series Book 1) by Celia Hart. This is such a great werewolf, shape shifter, romance. It’s the story of Jasmine who is a good college girl and she has saved herself for her fated mate. When she meets Blake who is mourning the loss of his mate sparks fly and she is more than tempted to give up on saving herself. She finally figures out who her mate is and its Luke, her best friends boyfriend. Not a good combination. Blake is the soon to be Alpha and Jasmine loves spending time with him and they vow to always be friends even if they don’t end up together. Lucy is her best friend and Luke’s girlfriend. Lucy is not the best friend, she is always leading Jasmine into bad situations and I had a hard time liking her. Will Jasmine end up with Luke staying true to her fate and ruin her friendship with Lucy or will she stay follow her heart and give Blake a chance? Such a fast paced love triangle.

I’m working my way through this series pretty quickly and I have to say, this has been my favorite book so far. It covers the sensitive topic of domestic violence and I think it was done in a way that covered it delicately.
Logan has a new neighbor and she’s pretty tight lipped on where she’s from. However, Logan isn’t one to push and when Lori starts to open up to her and spend some time with her shopping, Logan realizes that all might not be well. One day when baby Shannon turns up on Logan’s doorstep, she immediately is concerned about Lori and finds her beaten within an inch of her life. Not knowing any of Lori’s background, all Logan can do is call the police and get the investigation started.
Meanwhile, Ben drops a bombshell on Logan that gives her a lot of things to consider. She’s not sure she’s ready for what he’s asking about and it could change their relationship forever.
While there is still a lot of repeated things in this series, it’s starting to become a little less. This book could be read as a standalone but the reader would be missing out on the previous adventures that Logan and crew have been involved in.

This story is raw and emotional but so beautifully written…..this story at times just gutted me to my core. This story is a blend of love, loss, forgiveness, secrets, trying to hold on but have to let go with some twists I definitely did not see coming. I cannot stop thinking about this story of Adam and Hope……
Adam and Hope meet on a chance encounter….never thinking they would meet again. When Adam suffers an unimaginable loss, he slowly spirals downward. Hope and Adam meet again hence another chance encounter, this time it is not so kind. Grief consumes Adam until Hope brings him back to life with her kindness and friendship…until it becomes more. When blurred lines are crossed and secrets are revealed will Adam and Hope’s love survive….
I highly recommend reading this book….it is hard not to give anything away…..but you will not be disappointed. Grab some tissues….this is a fantastic read.

This book was a good quick read. It was written from two different characters’ perspectives and goes back and forth from the present to when those two characters meet. There are things you won’t like about each character in this book. I was not a fan of Dee and was rooting for Layla even though at times she frustrated me. Tang was in a class all her own. Which just makes it even more realistic in my opinion and the characters more believable. I was not expecting the ending at all and just when I thought there were no more plot twist there was another. This was definitely a good first read by this author and I will be looking into more books by them. If you are looking for a quick interesting read with great twists give this one a try!
Another great Logan McKenna Mystery! This time Logan is helping a friend who is one of four suspects in a murder. Of course Logan can’t help but look into who may have committed the crime. The author does a wonderful job of world building so we can really imagine how the characters are feeling and how they respond to Logan’s search for the suspect. Will the police figure out the right suspect or will Logan dig deeper to find the true suspect?
You won’t be disappointed reading any of this series. It does help a bit to start from the first book as some characters pop into a book at any time. The author sure keeps us readers hooked!
