This is a great collection of romance stories with something for everyone.
One of my favourites is Don’t Worry I Still Hate You by Marie Skye.
It’s a great enemies to lovers story and the author does a great job of building the characters giving them both pasts which shape the way they are in the present.
Perrie and Ash have a past dating back to high school. It’s always been rocky but they ended up on bad terms. A chance meeting in Vegas makes the sparks fly again. Perrie thinks where’s the harm in 1 night. After all what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas right? How wrong she was.
When she takes on a new roommate called Ashley she is shocked to realise its actually her Ash. Now begins a rollercoaster of emotions and sexual attraction. Can they ignore it and live together? Can they work through their pasts to build a future? Or will the hate each other forever?

This story has everything in it from action to betrayal to romance. Xander and Riley dynamic is a mix in itself. Xander and Riley have such a quick connection. Amy McKinley had me going right to the end with who the culprit was behind all the destruction. As these moments played out me heart was pounding. The ending left alot of question and I can’t wait to see where this series leads to.

Visions of impending danger for the sexy high priestess haunt Ethan.

Heartbeats and Roses: A Small Town Valentine’s Day Romance (Hartwood Holiday Romance) by Jae Dawsonis a sweet contemporary romance. I was drawn to the book by the beautiful cover which oozes romance. The story is not only romantic, but is also about second chances, forgiveness, taking a chance on love, and finding love unexpectedly- with a small town atmosphere, some misunderstandings, secret messages, humour, and all set around Valentine’s Day. Rose is your quintessential romantic- and matchmaking is her game, for everyone else it seems, but not herself. Liam is a surgeon who has returned to his hometown to try and regroup after a few setbacks. But fate might have its own plan. I really wanted to love this book so hard, and I really tried. The story was sweet, and the potential was there- but unfortunately, I just couldn’t connect with the characters- which made it difficult to invest in them and their story. It just didn’t blow me away like I had hoped it would, and maybe that is my fault for having too high an expectation. Maybe I will have better luck with the next book in the series.

Murder at Lolly Beach: An Eve Sawyer Mystery by Jane Suen is a cozy mystery story. Don’t let this story fool you. Just when you thought you have everything worked out you find out that you do not. Jane completely turns you around. What seemed to be a simple murder turns out to be something a little darker and a bit more sinister. Jane has cleverly woven a web of lies and deceit and finely tuned a well thought out plot.

This book took me by surprise. I was expecting a cliché vampire society, a self-absorbed woman, and a ridiculous romance that came to pass in obvious ways. I was surprised by how wonderful this book was. It made me laugh. The narrators accents are hilarious and fit the story perfectly. I love the location of the story, it fits it so well, it feels like this story wouldn’t belong anywhere else. The romance was slow to come, but the passion was present from the beginning. Honestly, the pop culture references made me laugh the hardest. The characters are kind of eccentric, but they end up meshing together well. The best relationships are formed between complete opposite people. And the supernatural element is portrayed from a new point of view with new rules. Very clever.

One of my favorite fairy tales is Cinderella. Byrd Nash has a unique vision for his Cinderella. I was sucked right into the story that takes place in Historical England. Melinda has been in charge of her family estate. Oh did I mention that it was left to her cousin who is treating her like Cinderella? The plotline has secrets, twists and turns, and some surprises along the way. Will Melinda stay being a Cinderella forever? Does Melinda have a plan to get back at the cousin? I highly recommend reading this story especially if you love Cinderella.

Oh I am so going to love this series! I have loved Amy McKinley’s writing before and especially loved her Gray Ghost Series so when I discovered this is a spin off type series of that I knew I needed to get my hands on it and I needed it NOW. I was so not disappointed and loved every moment I spent reading Twisted Secrets, the first of her Deadly Isles Special Ops series. This is one heck of a suspenseful ride as you read bringing the drama and smexy sizzle to the underlying storylines that will keep you wanting more, more, more. I really loved following along and the story that we got with Xander and Riley. These two bring the heat and the suspense that will leave you on the edge of your seat trying to figure things out as you go. I loved and hated the way this ended… mostly because I wanted more lol. I am anxious to get my hands on the next book in the series soon! This is one you do not want to miss!

Who doesn’t love a happily ever after, feel good read? This is a collection of a ton of just that with a bit of everything available for the romance junkie. I couldn’t have been more excited to have this collection available to get me in the mood for the season of love and Valentine’s day. I made sure to scoop this deal up when it was just a mere 99 cents and I could not be happier. I have been able to devour stories by several of my favorite romance writers and some by new ones I will now get to enjoy finding more of their work to devour. One of my favs however and what caused me to scoop this up fast was Marie Skye’s addition of, Don’t Worry, I Still Hate You. With a title like that and knowing how she can weave an unforgettable romance this was an easily enjoyed read with plenty to keep you on your toes and you cheered for Perrie and Ash to find their happily ever after. I can’t say enough good things about this collection. I will list all the authors and their contributions at the end of this review, each worth every moment you spend reading!

The Longest Run is the fourth book in Tracey Cramer-Kelly’s Lawson Family series. I have enjoyed each of the books up to this one so it was a no brainer to one click and see what this would bring us. I have to say though this was a difficult read for me. I wanted too much to love these characters and really I found myself irritated with Carly. I get secrets and how this would impact your life but the way the whole scenario played out it made me a bit angry at times. I wanted to yell at her that she didn’t have to let this ruin her life or future and that she needed to seek women who had been in her situation with a more open and even ground of advice. This got religious and I struggle with that in general. I did enjoy this as a concept and could see where it would have been a smashing success to pull people in and make them feel as if they are not alone. It didn’t and I even left feeling guilty at times. So I will be back for more but I must say this one just hit the mark for me and made me a tad sad. I also feel as if this book needed a trigger warning and that is a rare thing for me because I find them becoming a bit overplayed lately.
I loved Rose and Liam’s story. Such a good romance book and great with Valentines day coming up. Was quite sad at the start of Rose’s story and I did struggle abit with some of the wording but overall it is a great book.
The Longest Run: A Ski Patrol Rescue Romance by Tracey Cramer-Kelly is the fourth book in the Lawson Family series. This is an emotional story, full of highs and lows. The characters are both so flawed which makes them so perfect for each other! I found that you really connect with them and it added so much to the overall story. This book has got to be my favourite in the series so far. It is so well written that you will have no issues being drawn into the story. This is the kind of book that I really wish didn’t have to end and yet I couldn’t stop myself from reading it so quickly as I just had to see how it was all going to turn out. I would certainly recommend this series and highly recommend this book!
Manda, Manda, Manda! You never cease to impress! I have loved Manda’s work since i picked up the first book i read of hers! This go around, We meet stormy, a man who earned his name honestly and definitely upholds it. I have been with this series all the way back to book one, and not once has Manda let me down. This book, like all of her other work, is just phenomenal. She will capture and hold your attention from start to finish, with a perfectly paced story thats full to the brim with her talent, so much so it will literally suck you in, immersing you completely in the world she’s created. Having met Stormy previously, i wasn’t too keen on him as i began reading this book, but slowly but surely, Stormy himself, and, of course, Manda changed my mind. I had never once read a MC book before i picked up the box set from the very, and i mean very, talented Manda Mellet. Suffice to say, i’ve read every book of Manda’s i could get my hands on since! I definitely reccomend this book, as well as the rest of Manda’s work!

Kells is an expert storyteller when it comes to weaving romance and suspense. Hearing the book come to life with Price’s narration took it to a new level. I really appreciated hearing the emotional behind the story and felt the narrator did a good job in conveying the author’s intent. Recommended book and audio recording.

Firstly, I can’t believe I didn’t remember that not only is Matching Miriam by the same author as the Maggie Trilogy I read last year (I remembered that part!) but this book follows in the same universe! Yay! I fell in love with the characters when reading the trilogy and to come back to them in yet another brilliantly written novel brought a smile to my face! Reading about tough fronted police officer Miriam and learning about why she is the way she is gave me a deeper understanding to a character who may otherwise have remained as Naomi’s friend who wouldn’t take anything from anyone! Highly recommended!
This was an enjoyable read that I really enjoyed spending an evening with. This isnt my book by this author but I would love to read more by them because it was enjoyable and I liked the story alot. The characters were great and I was excited to see where their story was headed. I would recommend this to a friend! Happy Reading!
Stormy’s Thunder by Manda Mellett is book two of the Satan’s Devils MC Utah series. I couldn’t put this book down. I had to know how it was going to play out!
Stormy is who he is unapologetically. There are times that it’s easy not to like him. This book definitely gives him his redemption. It’s not easy. He’s got to fight for it. He almost doesn’t make it but he fights. There is more to this lost soul than one would expect though and his story gives you a chance go dig deeper into his character and watch him grow. I don’t want to give anything away but if you like MCs and the Satan’s Devils, you’ll enjoy Stormy’s story.
This book was very well written. It keeps you on the edge of your seat. There is so much going on and you can’t wait to get to the bottom of it but you don’t want it to end either.

When your mother asks for a favour you have to say yes, so why when she walked into the party to deliver the cake she feels vulnerable. Then when the birthday girl asks you to stay and then introduces you to her son, this is not going to end good or is it?
Sandra is getting ready to go out with her girls, it Friday night time to party but when her mom asks her to deliver a birthday cake to one of her best clients, Sandra can only oblige. Once at the party Lil whose party it is asks her to stay and introduces her to her son, Jacob. Sandra has an instant attraction to Jacob but can they see where this delicious chemistry goes or will it be a missed encounter.
Jacob is broken, he has had betrayal from not only family but from love, he hides his heart in a vault of stone and never lets its out. His encounters are all of the one night stands, where he gets what he needs and nothing more, but he has been invited to his mother birthday party which he real does not want to go to as family affairs are either awkward or end up in fights, so Jacob tries to stay away as much as possible but he decides to show his face and then leave. As he is milling around the party his mother introduces him to Sandra and within that first encounter his hearts starts to thaw and he feels he wants to get to know this woman better.
As the story goes on you get to see the chemistry build as Jacob pursues Sandra and how the story weaves between the family dynamic of Jacob and will he be able to let go of the bitterness and pain that has him wallowing for years and is Sandra the woman to smash through the wall.
I loved this story, it is great to see a male character vulnerable and broken and is not afraid to show this side to them. The chemistry between the two main characters was brilliant and the banter at time was wonderful. I loved the character of Sandra who was independent and sassy and took not crap from Jacob even though he was relentless at times pursuing her. This was a gripping story which had me hooked and I could not turn the pages fast enough.

The lone Lawson female sibling finally gets to tell her story. I didn’t realize how excited I was until I opened it up and started reading.
Carly has been present in the other books, but only as the sister who worked out of State and they she appeared to be running. She was.
Carly is an amazing independent woman and sees people in a different perspective than most people and that seemed to help her with her relationship with Chris, especially in the beginning and made me respect her character that much more.
I throughly enjoyed this book and was happy and sad when I finished it.
Looking forward to the next book. Have a feeling it’s going to be full of surprises.

The Longest Run by Tracey Cramer-Kelly was a good 4 star read. I was pulled right in and really enjoyed this story.
Carly is very active, it helps her deal with something she did 10 years ago, a mistake that she can’t take back. She does a great job of hiding her pain and she has no intentions of ever finding the one. That is until she meets Chris.
Chris is working on his olympic dream and gets blindsided by the beautiful Carly. Chris also has some demons from the past that he is dealing with.
Can these two connect and help heal each other? Can they get HEA?
Overall it was a good read, I really liked each of the characters. My heart went out to Carly and the choices that she had made in her past. I will warn you that it is a sensitive issue. I enjoy skiing so I was pulled in by the storyline as well. The author does a good job of pulling you in with her writing. I look forward to reading more from her. 1-click and get started today.
I have read other books by this author and they are always great and this one is no different. Miriam is a no nonsense detective that has put up a lot of walls around her heart and she doesn’t trust easily. Miriam and her partner were just given a murder case to solve, which is looking like they might have a serial killer on their hands. Jesse has just moved back to town to start a new job as a fireman. He isn’t sure how he is going to feel if or when he runs into Miriam after all this time. When they finally do see each other all those feelings from the past come rushing right back. Jesse wants to protect Miriam once he finds out that she might be in danger, but he’s not sure she will let him. Miriam’s friend Naomi has had a vision that Miriam is in danger but doesn’t know who is after her. With so much going on in Miriam’s life what will she do? Will she let Jesse back in her life? Can she catch a serial killer? To find these things out this is a must read. This book is full of emotion, danger, suspense, romance and more. I recommend this book.
I love Moonlight & Belladonna: A Small Town Halloween Romance (A Hartwood Holiday Romance) written by Jae Dawson! The characters are relatable, sassy, and care for others. It is so good I sat down and read it all in a day! I loved the connection that Bella the teacher had with her students, her mom the witch was awesome, and with Cade the indie rock band frontman was troubled but you connect with him too. You can feel how much Cade is hurting for his family and how much he cares for his grandfather, and in return how much his grandfather loves Cade too.

The Longest Run: a Ski Patrol Rescue Romance is the fourth book in the Lawson Family series by Tracey Cramer-Kelly. This short romance was an absolute page turner. I couldn’t get enough of Carly and Chris. Carly is set in her ways, she loves her job and is able to find a companion each season to keep her company. But once the season is over, so is that relationship but that’s the way Carly likes it. She has been burned in the past and keeping guys at a distance is her way of protecting herself. Chris is fighting on the slopes to make it to the Paralympics team after his life changing crash two years ago, which is where he meets Carly. The way that Carly and Chris bring out the best in each other but also challenge each other is what makes them so special. Is Carly willing to open up fully to Chris and share her dark secret? Is Chris willing to satisfy Carly in ways he wasn’t sure he was still able to? I highly recommend this book and look forward to reading others in the series.
As I have mentioned in previous reviews for Manda Mellett’s books, I have loved the entire Satan’s Devils series. That being said, I was not a big fan of Stormy going into this book because he just walked out on the MC in a previous book. So…it was going to take some work to get me back on his side…but Manda Mellett did that and more!
Stormy turned his back on his MC…and when he shows back up on their doorstep, there are unanswered questions about where he has been and whether they should allow him inside or not. This story takes us back in time to find out Stormy’s history and how he has ended up in his current predicament. As I learned more about his past, I found that he has overcome a lot and I found myself rooting for him and his success as the book went on. Add Cat into the mix and I was definitely hooked. They are definitely made for each other.
This is another great addition to the Satan’s Devils world and, once again, I am in love with the words that Manda Mellett has put on every page. I have read every one of the books in the series and will continue to do so!
