Good Enough
By: Nicole Craig

This is a fantastic read. The two main characters are Kai and Waters and they have a absolutely wonderful story. They are well written and I loved how it had the elements of a movie that needed done and a SEAL being called into consult on the movie. Both characters were amazing and I really loved watching them come together to work and then possibly come together for more. This was my first book written by Nicole Craig and I loved every last page. I am looking forward to reading more by her in the future.

A King So Savage (The Savage Duet #1)A King So Savage by April Moran
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Oh. My. Goodness.

I am an avid dark romance reader and this book checked all the boxes. I would definitely check for triggers before reading this. This is my first book by April Moran and it did not disappoint! I was hooked with every sentence and couldn’t wait to see where their unlikely romance headed.

A brief blurb:

This book was about Kingston taking Ava to pay for her brother’s debt. What Kingston thought was just a regular transaction for him, turns into something more.

This is a 3 book series that should be read together and not stand alone books. Each book builds on the previous one. The series sucks you in quickly . There is love, agony, rage, confusion, trauma, while facing reality. Full of plot twists and emotions going on. Had a hard time putting the books down.

Group Hug by Ariella Talix – Review by Kerry Baker

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This is my first book by this author and I was definitely intrigued from the moment I read the blurb. I really enjoyed the dynamic between the three characters. You could feel each of their personalities coming out and yet they all connected so well with each other. It was great to see their relationship develop, especially as they were all battling with their own baggage.
Overall, I enjoyed the story. It helped to progress the characters and their relationship but, for me, that is all it did. This book was about all about Petra, Weston and Callum, which certainly worked. I thought this book was a great read and a lovely way to be introduced to a new author. I will definitely be investigating more of her work in the future.

The Round Box (Grandma’s Closet) by Lois Wickstrom – Review by Elizabeth Sanchez

The Round BoxThe Round Box by Lois Wickstrom
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

The Round Box is part of the Grandma’s Closet series of children’s books. They don’t have to be read in order, each is its own book with the same characters. Carrie’s grandma used to live with them, but moved across town. She left behind some things, which are stored in a closet. Carrie is looking for things to do, and sneaks in to search through some of the boxes. The item she removes is quite fascinating. Its a little bit magical, and makes Carrie’s room do some weird things. While I felt the book was good and magical, my son said it doesn’t make sense. He is almost 8 and a little too practical for kid books- so for this reason, I recommend it for a slightly younger audience. The illustrations are colorful and fun. There are certain action words with different font, which was fun.

Hope For A New World (Gaia’s Voice Series) by Renee W Peek – Review by Darian Vester

Hope For a New World (The Hope Series Book 1)Hope For a New World by Renee W. Peek
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

I love the concept, I love that Gaia is speaking to them and that her speaking to them isn’t a new thing, it’s something that’s been going on (for some) for years. The author gives a character list at the beginning of the book which is great to be able to go back to check out but it did bother me a tad that there were so many. I feel it’s just harder to connect with a character when there’s so many POVs to keep up on.
I love how these people connect and work so well with each other, it was amazing when they saved the ship and I really liked the part of them needing to be outside with Adelphi for healing. With the bad blood between them and the military it was nice to see them be civil with each other. It was a nice spiritual community book.

Tropic HeatTropic Heat by C.A. King
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Tropic Heat (Flamingo Island Series) by C.A. King. I love this author so I was excited to read this romance and I was not disappointed. Its the jilted groom left at the altar scenario that I haven’t read because its usually always the bride left at the altar, anyway it was a fun short read and I feel in love with Daniel. After Daniel is left at the altar his best friend Joey talks Daniel into going on his honeymoon especially since the tickets are nonrefundable and taking Joey with him. What Daniel doesn’t expect is to have a one night stand with a woman and catch feelings for her. Sara just wanted to go on a vacation without any strings until she falls into bed with a key person on the case she is working on. And on top of that she really has chemistry with this guy and wouldn’t mind seeing him again. What I thought was a short little novella left me with big feelings. I loved this book! Read it to find out all the juicy things that happen!

Hit on You by Brooke May – Review by Heidi Sturgess

Hit on YouHit on You by Brooke May
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I’m not new to this author , love her writing and to me she’s pretty diverse and an all rounder ❣️📚 I love myself a good mafia romance so I couldn’t wait to get lost in between these pages 🫶🏼

At first I struggled with Luke being a woman ( the name ) but after a chapter or 2 Luke reminded me she’s a woman, all woman , a seductive , sultry and beautiful woman 😉

Luke is not only strong but independent and has had no qualms of looking after herself and the man that he has his eye on her is wise not to try and box her or her character in , give her freedom to be who she is …..

Nikolai is part of the Seattle mafia and a man of poet , he also happens to be a man that loves Luke , see everyone has an Achilles heel !? Anyhoo he declares his love and Luke runs , but he has his eye on her and when she needs him most he swoops in and “saves” her

These 2 had me all over the place but I love them and they captured my heart , their story may not be traditional but it’s beautiful 🥰

Sometimes we make bad decisions and when they done to haunt they come with a vengeance and I’m afraid this was the case for Pedro , yes he’s the man we all love to hate but there’s something that makes me feel sorry for him to a degree …..

Anne comes across as a bit if a fading wallflower but don’t underestimate her and her inner Amazonian warrior woman ….

As per the first book I was ready to pack my bags and head out to follow them wherever they were , I’m a picture person and the places I “went” to and the people I “ interacted” with while reading this was just amazing . These people are complex , deep and intense but there’s a live and respect for them and their stories that you need to experience for yourself ❣️📕

Bees in Loretta’s Bonnet (Loretta’s Insects) by Lois Wickstrom

This isn’t the first book I’ve read by the author. The author sure knows how to keep kids coming back. My daughter absolutely loves the books by this author.

Loretta goes outside to gather firewood for her family. She finds that the wood is stuck together by the ice. As she finds something to get the wood unstuck she loses her bonnet. When she goes out that spring she finds that the bees have made a home in her bonnet. I couldn’t choose a quote for her.

Highly recommended for Kids and Family lovers.

Throughout her first day in her new school, she learns more about patience, especially how waiting pays off in the end!

This adventurous book is full of vibrant illustrations. It teaches valuable lessons to little readers about patience and conquering fear. My kids especially liked the pirate language used throughout the book. It made the story engaging and interactive. You definitely want this book for your young readers!

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

It was good to be back in Quimby Cove ! It missed the town and it’s people and I know 2 of my favorite people are loving their HEA but I could wait to see what’s in store for darling Max…..

So we know Max has a mystery beach girl that he hooked up with and Ellawyn even did a painting for him 🫶🏼so imagine the Jurassic butterflies that hit his stomach when he heard her voice and the saw her at their wedding rehearsal !!! Yes I squealed and no I’m not embarrassed 😉❣️😂

So beach girl has a name , Marley and she’s still beautiful and still a wedding planner and her memory of Max still leaves her hot and wanting 🔥That moment of recognition was epic ! I wish I was a fly in the wall tj have seen it all 😍😂

A wedding in Starlight Bookstore ! Perfection at its best ❣️a real fairytale and while I’m grateful to be part of it I’m just curious to see what happens with max and Marley ….

So Max and Marley created 2 little beings and after the initial shock Max is keen to meet them and man are they cute ! Jax and Izzy are adorable and everyone just sort of find their groove and gel and life seems perfect till someone from Marley’s past brings a lot of suspense , chills and angst to the table , my heart couldn’t handle it and I chewed nails to the quick !

It was a sweet goodbye but I know I’ll be back in Quimby Cove soon enough because Avery and Kennon have a story to tell I’m sure ❣️📕

This book is one full of betrayal, trauma, love, and growth. The main character is a wonderful woman capable of giving it all for the one she calls her best friend. In this book you see her grow and realize how dome people are not who you think they are. Growing apart from the people that is most important to her and growing close to new people that dhe didn’t knew will be close to her. My Pearl Heart is a book that will definitely keep you entertained but be prepared to get angry with some of the characters. Highly recommend this book. Best part is, it has a happy ending.

Princess Mora is sent to marry Prince Fidge to form an alliance between the two worlds. However, the real reason causes Princess Mora not to want to marry him because of the deception. All she wants is to be free.

Darin has a connection to the enemy and is seen as an outcast. All he wants is to be free to live his life. He never expected to fall in love Mrs. Langley (Princess Mora). What happens when he finds out her identity?

I really enjoyed this sci-fi read. It is a bit short and a quick read but it is very enjoyable and I loved the characters and the world building.

I enjoyed the beginning where we first met Princess Mora and her sister Princess Pola. I just loved their interaction and conversation. How one Princess who is the oldest has all these expectations around them, including marrying someone for peace while the other is more free to do what she pleases because she is the second child.

The one the novel ended made me smile and laugh. I hope we get another book in this series.

Now she and her mother were about to settle for good in Santa Monica but Riley didn’t want to get her hopes up. This story to me felt like an excellent blend of reality mixed with some hot, spicy content. Charles has recently found out that he is the father to a baby girl. Charles and his two friends, Alex and Jordan, make a trio that meets for a month long retreat to a Malibu beach house. Charles’ mother hires Stella, who is her step-daughter to be a Nanny to Charles’ daughter. The beginning of the story has a good plot set up, and explanations of all the participants’ thinking processes. Eventually, the friends realize they are desiring more than just a typical Nanny relationship with Stella. Everything in this book was exciting, and being honest, also it gave me some Stella envy.

Shortly after venturing into this series, I found myself drawn in and invested in the storyline and characters. I’ll admit, I had a hard time wrapping my brain around the whole multiverse concept, but that says more about my limited attention span, and nothing negative about this author. He truly did an outstanding job of weaving a complex MULTIVERSE, filled with interesting characters, beautiful scenery, and a web of different stories that interconnect beautifully. Kudos for including the character list, so us scatterbrained readers can keep track of the numerous characters. One day, I hope to read this series through again, so I can give it the time and attention that it deserves.

Journeys Through Collection: Volume 1-3Journeys Through Collection: Volume 1-3 by James Talisman

The Journeys Through Collection starts off with Journeys Through SpaceTime. In the first installment, five entirely different beings from five different universes are contacted by an unexpected guest. The beings are expected to use their abilities to thwart evil and work together. Will the five beings be able to save everyone from the evil that is coming or do their differences cause them to fail? In the second installment, Journeys Through TimeSpace, a new battle exists on Earth where three friends must prevail to save the planet, by using time travel. With the help of some friends, will they succeeded in learning how to time travel, or will evil win? In the final installment, Journeys Through AllCreation, Earth and other universes are in danger of being destroyed by a diabolical and powerful being who plans to destroy multiple universes that make up the MultiVerse. Twins from Atlantis must save the MultiVerse, but they cannot without the help of a queen with magical powers. Will the twins succeed, or will evil prevail? Find the answers to all of the questions in Journeys Through Collection.
All of the characters are relatable and the feelings are real. James Talisman does a fantastic job of making the reader feel like they are in the story. I was able to imagine the story the entire time. The Journeys Through Collection is full of different characters, universes, danger, thrill, time travel, and so much more. At first it is a little difficult navigating through the universes and keeping track of the characters, but it does not take long to get the hang of it. Each scene is portrayed beautifully and takes the reader to different worlds.
Overall, Journeys Through Collection is a fantastic read full of suspense, science fiction, fantasy, twists and turns, and so much more that I cannot possibly list in one review. I did not want to put the book down and kept wanting more. I am sad that it is over but I am so happy that I picked it up. If you are looking for a unique read, do not hesitate to pick this collection up!

Titanian Warrior (Titanian Chronicles Book #3) by Victoria Saccenti – Review by Angela Hayes

Titanian Warrior (Titanian Chronicles #3)Titanian Warrior by Victoria Saccenti
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

4.5 Stars

Titanian Warrior is the third book in the Titanian Chronicles by Victoria Saccenti. I know I keep saying this, but this really is such a fantastic series-and only seems to get better with each new instalment.
As expected, this is a wonderfully written paranormal romance with such rich and descriptive storytelling, and quite clever detailing, which really helps to bring the whole story to life.
Along with the other two books, this is an extremely intriguing fantasy-with action, adventure, good vs evil, supernatural beings, love, loss, a little mystery, drama, danger, tension, mythology, evil sorcerer/necromancer, magic, fate, and surprising developments. Again, Ms. Saccenti’s world building is both imaginative and well-constructed, and results in another richly vivid tale.
Although this could be read as a standalone, I don’t recommend it. So, if you haven’t read the other two books in this series, then I strongly suggest that you do before starting on this book- as knowing what has happened previously will definitely enhance your reading experience of this book, as well as the series as a whole.
Looking forward to seeing what Ms. Saccenti does next.
Happy Reading…

Thank you, Victoria Saccenti!

I have loved this series so much! I really really enjoy the authors writing style and how they know what they are writing about. It is such a great story and is something I can see actually happening in reality one day. I definitely recommend reading the whole series and in order to best understand the story. This one is written from Sera and Caitlyn’s point of view on their adventures making new discoveries. I was up late reading this book as I did not want to put it down needing to know what happened next. There is action and new love along with more into the back story of the characters. This story took many unexpected turns. To say I am looking forward to the other stories is an understatement!
