Dangerous Rhythm is the fourth explosive book in the romantic suspense The Echo Series. It is action packed and so engrossing that the story was over before I wanted it to be.
The story is refreshing as the protector roles were reversed. The book is well-written with characters that are well developed, with faults, strengths and weaknesses that make them believable. CR also intertwines the characters throughout the books, so we get to check in with them.
Her job is to protect the one man that gets under her skin. But can she do her job, keep him safe and not give in to his charms.
He life looks picture perfect, but he unwittingly finds himself thrust into a dangerous world where murder is the norm of a day.
This is a captivating tale has suspense, tension and angst, chemistry and steamy scenes, unbridled passion, danger, pain and emotions.
If you are a fan of romantic suspense, you will enjoy this book. I look forward to reading more of CR’s work.
