Everything a pet could want, or need is explored. This educational picture books guides you through every aspect of what type of pet is right for you and what is needed to care for the pet. Oscar and Emmy Foster Kittens is a well thought out story and draws the reader in. I have fostered cats and always taken in cats from rescue homes to ensure they are well loved within a forever home with me or another. Children will delight in the colourful illustrations as well in the story itself.

It is an interesting and fun read and is a unique story. The wonderful narrative brings this coming-of-age story to life. Amese has the ability to turn into animals. She learns a lot of their culture, their customs, and the importance of telling the truth. It is a great gift or tool in schools or just in your own home. Let the adventure begin. 4.5 stars I have read a lot of Laurie’s books and really enjoy them. She doesn’t just write one genre which I really like because you never know what you are going to get. The Better Man is the second wonderful book in the Silver Buckle Brides series. Cross-Country Christmas drew me in and so did this one. It is a heart-warming romance that is full of lots of different emotions. Two souls who have had tragic pasts that have shaped them to who they are now. This story has a little bit of everything with Cowboys, an ex who will do anything to get what he wants and a ranch. There is also tragedy and pain, angst and hurt, hope and forgiveness, family and friendship, treachery and love, healing and spirituality. Jamie is trying hard to leave his past behind, but old doubts rise when an ex turns up. Laramee has her issues but returns home to save what is hers but when her ex turns up, he threatens it all. She literally crashed into his life, now it is not just a truce they have found they have found so much more.

Rachelle Paige Campbell is the author of Match Made in Montana series and Finders Keepers, Cowboy is the first book in this western romance series. It is a very clean frenemies romance trope set in a small town with small town characters. I am a bit all over the place with this one just as much as the contradictory nature of the characters themselves at times. It made it hard for me to gel with them. One minute they are enemies and the next minute they love each other. Although Colby is a special character as is Hank, they definitely made the story. What is it about her that makes him dislike her so especially when the town adore her. I really wanted to like this story and the premise is good it just didn’t make the mark for me but don’t let my opinion stop you from reading it because you may just love it.
4.5 stars Secrets of the Moon is a Paranormal, Young Adult/New Adult romance tale. The story is told in single POV, but I would have loved it to be multiple POV it would have added and extra depth to the characters. Secrets of the Moon is a paranormal story with secrets and lies, action and adventure, mayhem and madness, drama and suspense, thrills and tragedy, danger and let’s not forget the romance. This story that had me captivated from the very beginning. Kristy’s writing keeps you on your toes expect the unexpected. It is a touch dark, sexy, with a touch of fun and a delicious tale that has sexy Werewolves, Mates, Twins, family drama and things that go bump in the night. The storyline is well thought out and cleverly woven together. The characters are well developed, complex and interesting. Kyran is sexy, dark, brooding, and troubled and along with having a secret or two he is being torn in two. Trouble seems to follow Marjorie wherever she goes but she runs toward danger not from it. However, as secrets begin to come to light, Marjorie’s world is turned upside down once again. It doesn’t end with a cliffy but there are a few unanswered questions, but I still really enjoyed the story. Hopefully all will be revealed in the next book. If you love paranormal/supernatural you will not be disappointed.

4-5 star I noticed Kellie was an author from Australia and wondered what a home-grown girl had to offer and let me tell you I was pleasantly surprised. I found myself eagerly turning the pages for more and putting it down was not on the cards because I had to know how it all ended. Before I Let You Go is a fast-paced romance tale that is mysterious, with a dash of darkness, a little suspense and intrigue. I love paranormal/supernatural/fantasy. The characters were really well written and there were a few twists and turns that surprised me but there is also some humour. Elsbeth is in need of a change and her newly inherited a remote French island home will give her that and much more. What she hadn’t counted on was the three men who have come into her life and the turmoil and secrets that she finds herself in. What dark mysteries do the island and her home hold? I look forward to reading more from Kellie.

Before You Say I Do by Marina Hanna is a captivating contemporary romance. I have read many of Marina’s books and have fallen in love with every one of them. Marina’s writing draws me into her stories and had me completely intrigued. The characters are wonderfully real, and you become very invested in their story. Marina also has a wicked sense of humour that shines through in her words. Although Before You Say I Do is a quick read it has everything to keep the pages turning. I was engrossed and engaged, and I loved every minute of it. The chemistry is smoking, sexy, steamy and sizzles right off the page. With lots of passion, desire, some sass, there are intense moments, some angst and drama making some fabulous reading. She only meant it to be one night, but she couldn’t get enough. Even though she knew she should stay away. Mor than one-night leads to heart ache. Do yourself a favour and start reading Marina’s books today.

Mermaid Tails by Suzanna Lynn is a delightful children’s picture book that is 47 pages full of magical creatures of the sea. It is aimed for babies to 12 years old and it is an easy-to-read story that is well written and takes the reader on an adventure. Suzanna created a underwater magical world that is full of fun facts and comes alive with the colourful pictures by Samantha Smith. This unique tale answers many questions about sea life and the lives of Mermaids. Mermaid Tails opens curiosity and encourages young readers to join in. It will do well in the book market because everyone dreams of becoming a mermaid. The narrative is simple and easy to follow along. The perfect gift.
Charming Chapter is a charming Women’s fiction romance tale. It is a quick and easy read and an enchanting read. It’s great to see more authors getting on the older characters band wagon. The characters feel real, and you become very invested in their story. The book club gang were fun, supportive and friends you want in your corner not like Caroline who came across as a bit selfish. There are a few ups and downs and a few surprises, but it is an enjoyable read. My Mum died a couple of years ago and she and Dad always travelled around Australia but never any big overseas travelling. Two years ago, my dad at the ripe old age of 83 decided to do the Danube River cruise. So, when Laura decided she was going no matter what I admired her. I love travelling and learning about the history of places and ancestry. You are never too old to do something. Learning life lessons helps us grow. Falling love later in life is good to see and this is what Laura did and I really enjoyed seeing this happen. Give this book a go because I know you will love it.

4.5 stars Charlotte’s Control is the first time I am reading anything by Maggie Sims. It is the first book in her new Control series. It is a reverse age gap historical romance that is really well written. I can take or leave historical romance but Maggies’ writing style drew me in and I found myself really enjoying it. There is a touch of humour, angst, tension, want, need, doubt, caring, and so much more. There is a cast of many characters, in the beginning which was a bit much to remember them all. But it is so easy to fall in love with William and Charlotte. There is a little BDSM with a dominant widow on the cusp of being on the edge of society. William is a submissive young man forced to take over the running of things due to his alcoholic father. The sexual tension between the two main characters is steamy, hot, and sexy and everything explosive but it is also very romantic, sensual, and tender. If you love a story of two souls finding each other wrapped up in a historical romance, then Charlotte’s Control is for you.

The three friends are on the case, but they aren’t the only ones. This twisty tale has frozen maps, money on the line, science projects that are incomplete, songs are not written, and a dog who understands Morse code and surprising discoveries are made along the way. Lois’s writing style is simple to follow and inviting, there are many good thing to learn along the way. Code dog is another unique and charming tale.

The Closer is definitely a fiery enemies-to-lovers dark romance contemporary romance. It is the third and final epic tale in The Hustlers trilogy and my favourite so far. Make sure to read the books in order or you are missing so much deliciousness. I really enjoyed this story.
This second chance story is sexy, filled with suspense, drama, power, angst, pain, and sizzling chemistry and let’s not forget a little humour and mayhem. Rowans descriptive writing style is good at building the anticipation in you on what’s to come.
June is out of options. She needs help and she needs it now. The only thing left is the one thing that broke her. The real question is can she forgive. They both work hard and love hard and there are a lot of moments when you wonder if they should just walk away. They are both complex characters that are stubborn and not easy to forgive and their demons may be too much.
Their story is an emotional one and not a straightforward trip to love it has twists and turns and around every bend we discover something new.
Here within this book are ways to teach yoga and meditation to kids something that Lenora has a passion with. Mindfulness through yoga is not just for kids but for adults alike as it sharpens your focus and strengthens your attention. It also encourages self-esteem and in creating a positive self-image. Planting Seeds is a 6-week curriculum series that sets about giving the teacher a tool on how to teach kids to become mindful through learning yoga in the classroom. It sets out ideas and themes and plans for lessons and activities. It is easy to read and looks easy enough to implement. It is devised to be used for kids aged between 4 – 12 years but would be easily adapted for other ages. It is an original and unique book that would help anyone one looking to do this kind of thing. There is a lot to teach but to also learn from at the same time. Very clever.

3.5 stars Looks can be deceiving. What looks like an ideal world is not what it seems. We catch up with old friends and characters from the previous books. Make sure to read the books in this series in order. The story flows well and is well written. Stars in the City by Krysten Lindsay Hager is a romance tale for YA/NA readers. It is a short story that is full of the usual insecurities, drama and angst, anxiety, jealousy and misunderstandings just to name a few. Valeria is an actress but hates the notoriety that comes with it. She hates the spotlight and prefers to stay in the background. Try dating someone who is famous whilst having to deal with the fame is not what she could have ever imagined. Falling for your first love all over again who is famous in his own right, and it could be a recipe for disaster. Krysten is known to be good at writing this genre for the YA/NA readers so get on board and start reading her books today.

Echoing Hearts is a Contemporary Romance tale and the first book in The Echo series, and it was a lovely story. Our two MCs are both strong willed and always have to be right. Both with issues from the past this was not an easy journey, but it was fun watching them come together. There is angst, drama, a lot of passion and steamy scenes, and let’s not forget the humour. I really enjoyed the push pull and tension between the two as they are both as stubborn and strong-willed as each other. This heartfelt tale will pull on the ol’ heart strings along the way. There are a couple of twisty turns and a blast from the past as the road to love is not always paved with gold. I really like the secondary characters and can’t wait to see if they get their own stories.
His Forever Muse is a romantic suspense friends to lover’s second chance story. It is the second book in The Echo series. I enjoyed the first book Echoing Hearts, so I was looking forward to seeing the secondary characters from the first book get their own story and what this book brought to the series. I fell in love with this book even more. Although this story has some domestic violence themes, which may cause some triggers the author did a good job of not writing it graphically. This heartfelt tale will make your heartache along the way as we watch our female lead find herself in a safe and loving environment that helps her to find herself and her strength once again. There is pain and suffering, angst and fear, tension and suspense and a couple of twists and an unpleasant ex from the past.
Unexpected Entanglement is the third book in The Echo series. I really enjoyed the first two books in the series and this one is no different. I like that CR has intertwined the characters throughout the books. This is probably my favourite of the three so far. This heartfelt and fun love story will have you falling in love with the characters, Rowan and Chris. I also enjoyed their back-and-forth banter. The supporting characters were great too. There is tension and angst, chemistry and steamy scenes, unbridled passion and humour, danger and suspense, pain and emotions. This is a great read, and I was hooked from the word go. This is a captivating tale, and I liked the fake relationship trope and all that comes with trying to keep things straight. What is supposed to be a simple wedding turns out it is anything but……. Are lives in danger? You will have to read to find out.
Dangerous Rhythm is the fourth explosive book in the romantic suspense The Echo Series. It is action packed and so engrossing that the story was over before I wanted it to be. The story is refreshing as the protector roles were reversed. The book is well-written with characters that are well developed, with faults, strengths and weaknesses that make them believable. CR also intertwines the characters throughout the books, so we get to check in with them. Her job is to protect the one man that gets under her skin. But can she do her job, keep him safe and not give in to his charms. He life looks picture perfect, but he unwittingly finds himself thrust into a dangerous world where murder is the norm of a day. This is a captivating tale has suspense, tension and angst, chemistry and steamy scenes, unbridled passion, danger, pain and emotions. If you are a fan of romantic suspense, you will enjoy this book. I look forward to reading more of CR’s work.

Sugar & Spice is the first book in the Spicetopia series. I really enjoyed this book, being a little different than her other books made me want to see what it was all about. Let’s just say I was pleasantly surprised; I shouldn’t have been because I enjoy her other books. Spicetopia is a place for adults to vacation and have fun in an “adult” setting. It is original, it is fun, it is sexy, it is steamy, and you will need more than a long drink to cool down.
Cy is on orders to infiltrate the enemy, the works at his parent’s theme park but as time goes on, he realises just who is the enemy. However, when he meets the queen of Spicetopia, he can’t get her out of his mind. Will he join the fight and get the girl?
Jolie is a hard-working woman who works two jobs just to scrape by. When a certain young man comes to work, she can’t get him out of her head, but it can never be that is until he wears her down, but will he really still want her when he learns her secrets? It is set in an adult theme park where anything goes. If you like something oh so sexy, spicy and erotic, steaming and exciting then this is a book you should grab and dive right in.
4.5 Stars The Changed Man is another engrossing read in The Olympic Peninsula series. I have really enjoyed this series getting to know the O’Connell’s. Make sure to read them in order or you really are missing out.
This is an emotional journey and a heartfelt tale. Cat has given us a well-written tale that is complex and layered just like these wonderful characters and there is a cast of them. You will find yourself falling in love with our MC’s as they navigate their relationship.
It is another well-woven contemporary romance with interesting characters, family dynamics, emotion, drama, angst, complications, interconnected characters, intrigue, and more. This may just be my favourite of the series.

The story is cleverly told, and children will learn the life cycle of Fireflies from glowing larvae to the beautiful glowing insects. The narrative is simple and easy to follow along. The beautiful pictures as always bring the story to life. The story is original and fun and full of interesting facts and always opens discussions with my grandbabies who love Loretta’s stories and exploring the garden themselves. The story is aimed at children aged between 4 – 8 years old.
4.5 stars Stephanie R. Caffreys debut novel, Mistaken Identity is the actioned packed first book in the London Detective Agency. This fast-paced suspenseful romance tale will keep you entertained as the mystery unfolds. Stephanie gives us a page turning tale full of the unknown, danger, secrets, lies, intrigue, angst, fear, hate, betrayal, revenge and ulterior motives. What was meant to be a trip of a lifetime turns into something Evelyn never saw coming in a million years. Now her life hangs by a thread and in the hands of one mystery PI Patrick Miller. Is she running for her life or is she going to unravel the mystery? I look forward to reading other books to come from this author.
This is an interesting and definitely unique historical fiction tale with fae/paranormal steampunk elements. This is the first book that I have read by this author, but it may just be one of my favourites that I have read this year. Hood of Sedna is the first book in the Stevie Capot Chronicles. There are a lot of characters, but Mina has done well infusing them with life and quirky characteristics. I enjoyed the banter between them which had me laughing at times. This captivating twisty tale had me hooked from the start and at times emotions were high. Imagine waking and not knowing who you are, where you are and how you got there. Having to resort to doing anything to survive. Well, this is what Stevie Capot has to deal with, but she doesn’t let things keep her down she is a strong and capable woman, a badarse struggling to piece together who she is whilst keeping abreast of the danger around her. Enter three men but are they here to help or endanger her.

Make Me Burn by Alicia Street is the ninth book in the fabulous North Fork series. It is a brother’s best friend forbidden tantalizing tale that heats up the pages. I really enjoy reading Alicias work. This wonderfully written tale this is a quick and easy read that will delight readers. I was drawn into the story and turning the last page before I knew it. I was so engrossed and drawn into the characters’ lives and their journey to HEA. There is steam and a few twists, angst, passion, anger, love, steamy scenes, drama and a lot more in between. The want is intense and palpable that it oozes off every page. The story lived up to its title because burn they did. She has been in love with him forever, but he has always been off limits in more than one way. But now she will take what she wants consequences be damned. She is going in full steam ahead. When a sexy siren walks in his direction, he decides to make her his after all this time, brothers be damned. Challenge accepted! I am excited to read more of the series.

Managing Mischief is the second sexy tale in the Shattered Embrace series and the second in Zachary and Ashton’s duet. It can be read as a standalone, but you need to read the first book Hidden Mischief before this one. Well, I think so anyway. Alyndras narrative lends to the feeling of being surrounded by sights, smells and feelings. Its easy to fall into a mind set of exploration and self-discovery with just her written words. Written words that make this BDSM story seem more real than other authors write about. This is an opposites attract sizzling tale with BDSM that will have you sitting up and taking notice. Alyndra invites and ensnares us to a world of D/s relationships and the sinful Club Shattered Embrace where deepest and darkest desires come to life. He craves his dominance and the power over her body. Things heat up with her learning his world but is this house of cards about to fall down around them. I look forward to more. Enjoy!

Like all of Loi’s stories this story has magic and adventure and there is always a message featured with each one. This is the first book I have read by Kelly, and I found I really liked it. I have read this as a standalone and not read the first two books. Although they follow on from each other they can be read as standalones as I did, and I did not feel as though I was missing out. A Girl, Stuck is a fun fast-paced crime story that is at times dark but intriguing. It is full of suspense, mystery, some violence and heartache but there is also laughter to be had at times too. It is a well written and engaging tale one that I could not be put down. Harry is no wilting flower; she is witty, and she can give as good as she gets but she also has a vulnerability about her hidden under her tough exterior. Whilst trying to solve her police detective dad’s murder she risks it all, reputation and career when she trespasses into the underworld of crime. Yet it is within this criminal world that she happens upon one that will change her world. A Girl, Stuck is the third book in the Found Families Series that should not be missed.

In Outcast, Catherine has created a diverse world of paranormal characters. It’s not an easy world to live in and prejudices only complicate it even more. This reverse harem supernatural fantasy tale has bit of everything to keep the pages turning with action, danger, curses, conspiracies, bravery, romance and lots more. It is well written, and the storyline is interesting with some wit and humour but there is also pain and suffering. Ember finds it hard to believe the community could be so close minded and has to deal with aftermath of their rath for those who seek haven. Outcasts indeed in an unforgiving world full of darkness and hate. There is drama, angst, passion, love, some steam and way much more in this tale. It is full of fascinating characters and plenty of twists. Get stuck in if you love paranormal stories.
