My rating: 5 of 5 stars

A very well written book that draws you in quickly from the beginning and has you wondering what will happen next. Very entertaining and enjoyable read, with amazing interesting characters the dynamics and the adventure this story takes you down. The magical elements and plot are just as enticing, a page turner from beginning to end.
I can’t wait for the next installment of Wraith’s journey and to see how the path develops and I really couldn’t have asked for a more entertaining read!

Mann in the Crossfire (Jarvis Mann Detective Series Book 8) by R Weir – Review by Jennifer Reimer

Mann in the Crossfire: A Jarvis Mann Hardboiled Detective Mystery NovelMann in the Crossfire: A Jarvis Mann Hardboiled Detective Mystery Novel by R. Weir
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

As a first-time reader of R. Weir’s Jarvis Mann Detective Series, I was very please with this book. I enjoyed that I did not have to read the previous books to understand what was going on, but I will for sure be reading the other books in the series. R. Weir did not fail to deliver an outstanding tale and this book, an action-packed thriller, suspense filled, intrigued crime story is what he did best. The twists and turns that are found in the plot, kept me on the edge of my seat, that I just couldn’t put it down to find out what was going to happen next, am amazing and definite page turner until the very end. I will continue to read and follow this series. I was totally invested in this book. Totally awesome and amazing read!

The ending has you wondering if Jarvis is going to be hanging up his detective gloves…

AWAKENING THE GODS (RISE OF THE CELTIC GODS) by KRISTIN GLEESON – Review by Jennifer Reimer

Awakening the Gods (Rise of the Celtic Gods #1)Awakening the Gods by Kristin Gleeson
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I honestly have to say I don’t know were to start with this book, and I really don’t think that what I write is going to capture the amazing story. A tale of Celtic fantasy of gods that were finally finding each other in a tale of two lovers torn apart for century’s, finding their love and who they are was such a chilling, loving experience to read. The words and story just fell tighter so amazing that it made you feel like you were there. The twist about what these Celtic Irish gods had gone thou is an amazing twist to everything that is to be said about them. This amazing action Irish music-filled, myth, urban fantasy, of magic with a Celtic twist was so amazingly put together, that I just couldn’t put it down.

This book is a Bad-Ass Faerie Tale features an intriguing mix of bikers and elves an exciting novel full of action and adventure that will change your mind about just how bad-ass faeries can be. A well thought out and crafted book of two worlds blended together to compel this amazing story.
The characters are immensely likable, and I found myself growing quite fond of them, Lance being an amazing biker that takes finding out so much of a world that he didn’t know anything about. One that he didn’t know and the one he was living in were he just wanted to settle down and be with his girl. With so many that he needed to protect, lance goes into this role and crushed it, making it very exciting to read.
This book is a fast=paced adventure produces a compelling story, that was a lot of fun to read. an entertaining twist on the two worlds together to see who would win, a page-turning tale and a must definite read.

Grave Digger Academy (Grave Digger Academy Series Book 1) by C.A. King – Review by Jennifer Reimer

Grave Digger AcademyGrave Digger Academy by C.A. King
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Very easy to the point good read. I got a harry potter and zombie vibe when I was reading, which are two things I enjoy and having them in the same book was very entertaining. Makayla is a young girl that ends up finding out interesting things about herself that she didn’t know she could do, first off thinking because she ended up in a school that took kids that nobody wanted int here own school, and learn that she could do things that she really couldn’t have been able too. But then finding out that she could become something either very amazing and for the good or something that is forbidden to even talk about. I enjoyed that this book focused on a girl main character, you really don’t see that as much, which was great which made this book more appealing to read. If you like a little magic, grave digging, zombies and a family’s little secret this book is a must read.

The Divine Devils (The Divine Devils Book 1) by R Weir – Review by Jennifer Reimer

The Divine DevilsThe Divine Devils by R. Weir
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This book kept me on my toes, just when I thought that there couldn’t be more to happen, it would take a turn to something else. The little gleams into the character’s past too was amazing into who and why they were, I really enjoyed that part. Hunter a former US marshal, who does everything in his power to save these teenagers that are trying to be taken by a crazy mad man, that doesn’t care about anything but his own personal gains. The sick twisted way that this mad man was written was so amazing it made me want to hate him, whenever he was in the book. I enjoyed the roles of the women in this book as while, R. Weir wrote these women as kicking butt and then taken names, I loved how they would fight and stand for who and what they wanted. The twists and turns in this book really had me guessing and wondering what could happen now and it was hard to put down.
If a book 2 will be written I will for sure be grabbing it, and if it becomes a movie…….

A time when children were going missing like crazy, Tally finds herself in the middle of all the chaos to find and end this. With the strength to stand up, and with the encouraging words of her angel, some even called her an angel. This book was very good and would recommend it to anyone that loves reading, packed with page turning advents and a little girl that finds a place to call home.

The Rise Of Manifesto The Great (Planet Hy Man) by Kerrie Noor – Review by Jennifer Reimer

The Rise Of Manifesto The Great: A Sci Fi Comedy Where Women Wear The Trousers (Planet Hy Man)The Rise Of Manifesto The Great: A Sci Fi Comedy Where Women Wear The Trousers by Kerrie Noor
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This book was very interesting and different from what I’m used to reading. It took me a little to get use to it and the way it was written, but once into it, I found it interesting to see how the author was able to write about civilization and the way that every type of person thinks differently towards there environment. Example is a ship lands on a new plants there are animals and plants around, this group starts killing the animals and really not caring what they do while another group of people, who got ran off by the first people, used the plant as a resource and, growing fields for harvest, saving the animals. The women in this book thou are considered less then men at first, but they influence the men and trick them into doing what is right in some instances. This book makes me feel like its world starting all over like us, were we didn’t have cars or mirrors, and that they evolved to make things and start civilization. All in all, a really interesting and enjoyable read.

Mornin The Super Bird : Mornin Finds a Way to Stop ExtinctionMornin The Super Bird : Mornin Finds a Way to Stop Extinction by Jules Heartly
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

A great illustrated book, the art and pictures in this book are so amazingly done, vibrant with color, and follow the story so well. The way the pictures follow that book are very thought out and great. It conveys a good message on the way that when you can put your mind to something you can achieve anything in life. One voice can make a difference in the world, you just need to stand up and say it no matter how small you are. This little blue bird found a way to speck his voice to be heard.

Forbidden Wolf (The Shadow Chronicles Book 1) by CR Robertson – Review by Jennifer Reimer

Forbidden WolfForbidden Wolf by C.R. Robertson
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I want to start off by saying this book was not the normal type of book I would have picked up and read. And it was amazing, think supernatural cross with underworld with a little passion on the side. I enjoyed it so much that it made my day reading it, I was even reading it while cooking. I had been in a rut with my reading and wasn’t able to find anything to enjoy, this book made me fall back into read. the story captivated me right from the moment I started reading about Levi and Tasha, who were forbidden to even talk to each other due to the nature that wolfs, and vampires don’t mix, but created a passion that no one could stop them. The passion that Robertson had made with the two main characters was one reason I just couldn’t put it down. I will say I will be on the lookout for the rest of the books to this fantastic series.
