Blood & Ravens: A dark, paranormal romance (The Casket Girls Book 1)Blood & Ravens: A dark, paranormal romance by A.D. Brazeau
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This book is different from what I normally read, I usually just go for the paranormal but thought to switch it up a bit and I couldn’t be happier in doing so. This book was incredible. The story and conflicts and just everything in it kept me on my seat and wanting to read it more. This book really took on a classic and made it into a new way to look at the paranormal. The story flowed so well together that it never made me feel lost and had to turn back again. I really enjoyed the characters but especially Greer she is strong and could sense things and see things that no one else could. I really can’t wait to know if there will be more to this story and what more it could offer.

Highly recommend this book, a must read for sure. Cant wait to see what the author has in story next.

That saying don’t judge a book by its cover, this is one of them. It started off very quickly that this book was going to be something that I wasn’t expecting. Secrets that were buried, but they started to come out, it was a roller coaster like ride reading about the way Lizbeth started having to deal with everything after her husband died. She encounters the impossible from the beginning to the end. The flow and main plot were amazing throughout the book. It kept me intrigued and entertained the whole way that I couldn’t put it down. I wasn’t expecting how amazing this book was. It was a nice easy read and short, and so filled with amazing little twists and turns on what happens. The way they kid’s and town stand up for the way they are getting treated by others nit from there, or are they kids? This book makes you think about how this town and place works. and standing up for one another. I really like how the characters care about ones that are the same as them. how they help each other out. This book was incredible for the way its written. To be a Fae Guardian (Realm Chronicles Book 2) by Tricia Copeland – Review by Jennifer Reimer

To be a Fae Guardian (Realm Chronicles, #2)To be a Fae Guardian by Tricia Copeland
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This is another incredible book to this series; I really enjoy reading about Titania and the character that she is becoming. Titania is a young queen, and this book focuses more of her growth and what she needs to stand up for. I feel like everyone in the book is doubting her and not listening to what she has to say, so she has to stand her ground and be strong willed towards what she needs done and what needs to get done. This book wasn’t as action packed as the first one, but the situations and conflicts that Titania has to deal with makes up for it in so many ways. The story does bring up the issues that has been brought up in the first book and trying to solve it while Titania is still getting accused of so many things. I love how she’s strong willed and stands her ground even when everyone around her is doubting her. This is an incredible book, and I can’t wait to see what happens next.

I literally can’t not write how amazing this book was. I love how not only did these to fight for each other but also for the people that are in their lives. The book flows from Liam’s side to Tasha’s side of the story amazingly, and how you can get lost in this world of these two. I really hope this isn’t that last time that I read about Liam and Tasha. I couldn’t put it down, well other than when I had to go to work. This book was incredible and so entertaining to read. it really sucked me in to know what was going to happen next. A sword and a girl that gets into some trouble, and trying to get out of it, with a sword that just wouldn’t leave her alone. Getting into mischief that she does really showed her thou who her friends were and who she could trust. I love reading books on different views to with the supernatural type, like who some write that you can see a vampire in a mirror, and in this particular book she wrote her own little twist with vampires that I found interesting. I love how all the characters have a very strong bond with each other, and how much they care for one another. I really enjoyed this book and can’t wait to read more.

The plot and story line of this book was incredible and flowed all the way thou. the way the characters solved the issues and worked them for so amazing, that you couldn’t not want to like them. Lee is an amazing and incredible lead character, she tries to do everything on her own, and to solve her own problems, and doesn’t like to ask for help, which doesn’t always work out for her, and she ends up in some really sticky situations. Magic, demons, death, artifacts, and the FBI is all rolled into one. Loved reading this book so much, and really can’t wait to read more.

So, I usually don’t grab books like these and read them but after reading book one, I honestly could not wait for this one to come out. And once again I was not disappointed. Red finding his love again and it was like nothing changed was incredible. the situations that come up and the way Red handles everything is amazing. There was one part that at first, I was thinking oh this is going to happen this way, but it did really caught me off guard, and I loved it. It kept me wanting to read more and very entertaining. I honestly hope there is more to this story then what there is. The one thing I do have to say is one of the people in there is binary, so they use the term they and them which I had to stop and think for a second because I have never had to use these terms yet. I love how these types of gender and identifications are in this book. It was great to actually learn about the way they are and what they mean. Great book and amazing read. so entertaining, kept me on the edge of me seat wanting more.

The way it kept me on the edge of my seat the whole time and wanting to know what happened next, I just couldn’t put it down. There is a lot of abuse and sexual contact, so there very well could be triggers for someone that has been thou this, especially for a woman. But the way Liz handles herself and fights thou all that she is put thou and finds out with her family, she is such a strong and amazing woman. Macros love for her thou really shows her that she can overcome anything that happens or will happen to her. I’m so glad I picked this book and read it. Flash Point (Nite Fire, #1)Flash Point by C.L. Schneider
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This book was amazing, it had me on the edge of my seat the whole time, I could not put it down. It is well written and full of interesting, well rounded characters. It involves love, passion, lies and deception. It has action-packed, mystery and dragons, who doesn’t like a book with dragons.
Dahlia Nite is a century-old lyrriken (dragon/human hybrid) with powers of empathy related to grief and trauma. she is a kick-ass fighter and protector of the human world from the various creatures that go bump in the night, she is a very strong heroness is a butt-kicking assassin with attitude that I absolutely fell in love with. yet she has some insecurities and mistakes that make her very relatable and likable. There are so many fight scenes that are written so vividly that it felt like you were really there watching then. This book is amazing with great world-building, lifelike characters and epic battles you will not forget.

A Spell of RowansA Spell of Rowans by Byrd Nash
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I didn’t enjoy this book as much as I thought I would. I think I grabbed this book having high expectations with it, I read a lot of fantasy, magic, supernatural so I think maybe I was thinking it would be different then what it really was. Don’t get me wrong the book itself was very good, the plot line is just as good and really fits the characters the conflicts made me really think and wonder what was going to happen. I was intrigued by the characters in this novel. With a wonderful mix of personalities, how amazing of friends and family that they all seem to be. The characters in the book you can’t not enjoy, trying to fix issues that came up, problem solving, and how they all got along as good friends and family. The flow and the way you can easily read this book, it was a very short read for me. I really thought there was going to be more magic and supernatural not a book about black mail and murder. It was an enjoyable book on a low-key kind of way.

The Elements of the Crown (The Elements of Kamdaria, #1)The Elements of the Crown by Kay L. Moody
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I actually really enjoyed this, and I’m intrigued enough to want to pick up the next part of the series. This book is amazing! I didn’t even notice that it is 4 novellas in one, the story flows seamlessly and all together. This young fantasy reads quickly. It contains everything from, mild romance, a female lead, magic, an exciting story and it has multiple conflicts which keeps you reading. This is a story with a strong female lead. We follow Talise as she grows from a young 7-year-old child all the way to becoming a 17-year-old young woman. Talise comes from an area called The Storm, which is like the dower class. But she is determined to win the coveted title of Master Shaper so that she can escape poverty for good. Her powers are to shape the elements – Earth, Air, Fire, and Water. Aaden, another new student, is just as equal to her abilities, and so they are tested together for the right to stay in The Crown. These two gave the story life and it was fun and easy to read. Lots of twists and turns in this book that pulled me in and kept me hooked till the end. You don’t want to miss what happens in this story and to these amazing characters. This is a great story to pick up and I highly recommend it.

This was another incredible book by Brittany Anne’s Can’t resist you series. I though ally enjoyed the first one so when I seen there was a book 2, I was super excited to read this one, and I was not disappointed. This book starts off after book 2, the characters are well written and the main points of who they are, are set. There was a lot at stake for both characters, Derek and Julia. This was so well written that It was like I could actually feel the feelings that were being written about. How scared or unsure about something, the sadness but the joy, it gave me all the feelings. I was hooked in with this book right from the beginning and couldn’t put it down. I really wanted to know what was going to happen next. I really can’t wait for more adventures from this series. Amazing read, and page turner for sure.
