Tangled Roots (Witches of Willow Creek: Tangled Magic series book 1) By Denise D Young Is a fun, entertaining Witchy read. While I found it a quick read that could also be simply because I didn’t want to put down. I wanted to know what was coming next!
Sweet Cassie has arrived in Willow Creek 2019 after casting a protection spell in 1974! just a bit of a time difference there right? She meets Nick who has been refusing to even acknowledge his magic after tragedy took his Coven a year ago. Their connection is undeniable and even though Nick isn’t happy about possibly having to use his magic again, he knows deep down it is the only way to protect not only themselves but their Coven and Willow Creek.
Tangled Roots really has wonderful, lovable characters and an interesting story line so if witches and magic full of heart is your thing you need to get reading right now!

I have become a HUGE Manda Mellett fan while reading her Satans Devils books and this next story in the Satan’s Devils MC San Diego series does not disappoint in any way! what a rollercoaster ride of emotions. Oh and what a tease is Ms Mellett splitting this one into two parts!!
Saffie is on the run from an extremely abusive husband and MC member of a very violent MC club, when she meets Niran and Mary while leaving an appointment at the hospital. It was an extremely emotional appointment for the very fragile Saffie and upon meeting her, Niran and Mary both want to help the young woman. After some resistance a friendship begins to grow until Saffie finds out Niran is in fact a member of an MC. Saffies past experiences are understandably hard things for her to forget and she can’t bring herself to believe that not all MCs or all men for that matter, are the same. Nirans strong protective instinct drives him to try and be the friend she needs while also convincing her the Devils are not like her past MC experiences. As danger approaches them the big question becomes can she see past her misconception of the devils in order to protect herself and have a chance at starting the new life she dreams of.
To say I can’t wait for part 2 is an understatement!! I have to know what happens next!!!!!!!!

I have said it before and I will say it again to anyone who will listen…Manda Mellett never ever disappoints!! It’s just that simple! Most readers probably see an MC novel and think they know what to expect but I say throw those ideas out right now and read every Satan’s Devils book you can lay your hands on. I am now so fully invested in every single character that I just have to keep reading this series because I have to know where life is taking all these wonderful characters even if my heart gets broken along the way.
Grumbler’s Ride is another fantastic book filled with drama, heart and emotion. Once again the main characters, Grumbler, the Sargent of Arms of the San Diego Chapter of the Satan’s Devils and Mary, a widow and single mum doing the best she can raising a somewhat rebellious teenage daughter, are older characters. I absolutely love that Ms Mellett does not simply focus on the younger members of the MC.
In Grumbler’s Ride we see Grumbler a very set in his ways, I guess you would say, biker who only ever saw his Harley as being the lady love of his life, slowly realise there just might be more to life after all. He comes to the aide of Mary and her daughter after realising they had all be taken advantage of by a photographer and his phoney promises. While looking into the photographer Grumbler soon realises this guy his so much more dangerous then he first thought and he will need his club brothers to help him bring the guy down and to protect Mary and her daughter who are both starting to worm their way into his heart. Along the way Mary is also losing her heart but needs to decide if the MC way of life is for her.
This gorgeous couple bring us some unexpected Story twists that’s for sure! I promise it will keep you captivated from start to finish but most of all the heart of the characters will draw you in! I love my MC family…yes they are mine now…and I can’t wait to read more.

Manda Mellett never ever disappoints!! It’s just that simple! If you think you know what to expect from a MC novel throw those ideas out right now and read every Satan’s Devils book you can find. You will be fully invested in every single character from start to finish. My heart went on such a rollercoaster ride!
Being Lost is a fantastic book filled with drama, heart and emotion. I loved that the main characters, Lost, the club president of the San Diego Chapter of the Satan’s Devils and Patsy, the mum of an Old Lady from another chapter, were older than you really see in a lot of novels. Finding love in most books is left to the young it seems but not this time and I love that.
Lost is asked to look out for Patsy and her son by the Pres from the Tucson chapter (the mother chapter of the Satan’s Devils) and when her situation takes a dangerous turn Lost takes her protection on and in doing so falls and falls hard, even while fighting his own personal demons and wondering if he is truly worthy. His vulnerability spoke volumes to me as most readers would automatically assume him to be a very strong and maybe hard character simply because he is a club president.
Story twists and turns will keep you captivated but most of all the heart of the characters will draw you in!

Shield and Shade, the first book in the Ascended Guardians Series by Misty Hayes is actually the first book by this wonderful author that I have read and it did not disappoint at all! I have to say that it has been a while since I have read a paranormal book, a genre I use to read ALOT of, and now thanks to Ms Hayes my love for the genre has been reignited and I will be reading more especially from this creative author.
I read this book not knowing that it was a spin off from a previous series until I had completed it and went looking for more books by Ms Hayes. I don’t feel that my not having read the Blood Dagger series has hindered my experience at all. In fact now I just want to go buy the other series and start reading. I wanted to mention that important point, as I have seen a lot of reviews address the fact that it is a spin off but I don’t want people thinking you have to read the other series first. If you wanted to by all means do but I don’t feel that you absolutely have too in order to follow the story line or characters. You WILL absolutely love this book either way.
There is an endless mixture of wonderful, fascinating creative characters and worlds, loads of action and even some moments you will second guess your feelings…am I really feeling for one of the bad guys here?? seriously?? hehehe!! I was totally hooked on the story from start to finish and hated it each time I was forced to take a break from reading it.
i really hope you will join me in reading Shield and Shade…I just know you will be hooked too!

Turning Wheels (Satan’s Devils MC, #1) by Manda Mellett is a five star book from start to finish. This is the first book I have ever read by this author and to say she now has a new fan would be a huge understatement! I am hooked on the Satan’s Devils and I will absolutely be making sure I read the rest of this amazing series.
In Turning Wheels we meet Sophie, injured and broken after a terrible accident that drastically changes the course of her life and Wraith the VP of the outlaw motorcycle club the Satan’s Devils. The club offers Sophie their protection when asked by a friend to help her because the man suspected of hurting her wants to basically finish the job. Thrust into a world she really doesn’t understand Sophie finds an inner strength she didn’t realise she had but still fears her heart isn’t strong enough to handle her growing love for the gorgeous, powerful VP. With so much going on can she trust in him and her feelings to truly move forward with her life? And what about Wraith, He has never EVER thought he would want a permanent woman in his life but Sophie is changing that idea real quick. Can he convince her to truly trust him and join his world?
The characters created by Ms Mellett are full of depth and heart that going into the book you might not expect. There are steamy moments that only make you fall more in love with these characters and their deep connection. Some Preconceptions you might have about bikers are put to the test. This club and their connection and commitment to each other might even make you a little envious. Do yourself a huge favour and read this book! you will not be disappointed!

Mountains Wanted ( Mountains Series #1) By Phoebe Alexander was a wonderful book to read, in fact I didn’t want to put it down…. OMG what a rollercoaster of emotions!!
Dr Sarah Lynde is a professor with a very open mind and lifestyle, being Bi and believing in Poly relationships, she is always true to herself while juggling work and being a single parent. Something I find admiring about this character. I mean who doesn’t want to be able to be true to themselves at all times. Along comes James McAllister, a gorgeous young Army man currently teaching ROTC . They both decide to enter into a “Friends with Benefits” type of relationship with no complications. Of course over time emotions and feelings definitely come in to it for them both. The big question is…Is what they feel for each other enough for them both to feel that they can build a future?
This was a fantastic start to the series. It is filled with characters of great depth and heart, plenty of steamy scenes and it is full of emotion. I don’t just want to read the next book to see what happens next with Sarah and James, I NEED too!

Brink of Denial By Cam Johns and Sonya Jesus had me totally hooked from start to finish. I have never given my family so many death stares for interrupting me while I was reading!!
This story brings us Dane Giordano, a very strong, intense man, with a wounded heart who is being shaped into the next boss for the Sindicato. Years ago he thought he had everything all planned out. He had Milana Lombardi, his very own Mafia princess that he planned to marry and together they would have it all! She had other plans though. Milana leaves to find her own life in the world of modelling and becomes Mila Blanc. She trades independence from mafia ties for the constraints put on her by her career. During all this though she never truly gets over Dane and has always believed that when she is done with her current contract she will return and once again have him for her very own.
Can Dane truly allow his VERY wounded heart to heal enough to accept her back into his life forever? Can Milana fully accept what being back in the Sindicato will mean?? With others conspiring against them both in different ways can they once and for all find true happiness in this intense world? You absolutely have to read this book…you need to know these wonderful characters and this thrilling story.
Ms Johns and Ms Jesus are truly amazing authors creating characters with so much depth and heart that with every step of their journey you are right there with them. I wanted to jump into these pages and protect them all!

Bound by Secrets is the second book in the Deadly Isles Special Ops series by Amy McKinley and it is another fantastic book from this wonderful Author. I highly recommend reading this series in order as there are elements to the story line that need the grounding start of the first book.
This time we follow Jaxon Hale, an ex navy seal who is helping out with the police department after leaving the navy and Kayla Kane, a book reviewer and freelance writer on the run from an abusive ex-boyfriend. Jaxon and Kayla were once friends and lovers as teens but heartbreak came their way completely changing everything for them. They still care very deeply for each other but the big question is Can they work past their shared heartbreak and come together even better than before while danger builds around them?
Jaxon and Kayla are wonderful characters full of heart. I hope you enjoy their story as much as I did. I can’t wait to read the next book in this amazing action packed, heartfelt series!

Courage of Us is the story of Patience and Duke, teenage best friends, who both want to be more but as most teenagers do, they don’t communicate that to each other and life takes them on different paths. Fast forward a few years, Duke returns to town after years away in the Marines and is trying to find his way in civilian life again. He is determined that Patience is going to be a big part of that. He wants her back in his life! Patience however, is also trying to find her way in the world after a bad and emotionally abusive marriage. So the big question becomes can they find their way to each other and finally be together they way they should have been all these years??? or is the pain of the past too much for both of them to make it possible.
Courage of Us by Brooke May is a wonderful read by a very talented and creative author. Her characters have heart and depth. I am really hoping that there will be more books to follow and soon. Please tell me Ms May that Chase, Holt, Decker and Ryder are going to get stories too?

I had my suspicions about one particular character but the amazing Ms McKinley had me double guessing myself the whole time. Sons of Sindicato by Cam Johns and Sonya Jesus brings us into an intense world filled with wonderful, strong characters and creates an interesting foundation for what I think is going to be an amazing series. In this peak into the mafia world of the Sindicato we meet Seth, the son of the head of the Sindicato, and Braelynn (also known as Shaw), a young strong lawyer who after defending Seth has fallen for the powerfully intense and of course extremely hot man. After months of seeing each other secretly events bring their relationship out into the open and force them to face up to weather they are a couple meant to last or if pressures around them will be too much to bear. This is definitely a very exciting first step into this series and i personally can’t wait to read more!!! please keep them coming!!!

Southland Academy for Supernatural Youth by Sandra Tentler and Brooke Tentler is such a fun read with sweet, Charismatic characters. The story follows a group of young supernatural students who become great friends while learning about themselves and their supernatural abilities. The story is full of heart and shows us that acceptance and being true to our “real” selves is achievable. The authors have done this in a light hearted fun filled way that doesn’t dampen the readers spirit. I say bring on more Southland Academy adventures.

This story introduces us to Sheldon, huge, hot and oh so dominant, and Beautiful, Sweet submissive Alexis, a young woman hiding her needs because of pain from her past. It all starts easily enough, Sheldon steps in when Alexis needs help with unwanted attention from a creep at a coffee shop. Little did he know that encounter would turn into so much more for both of them or that the creep would be so much more then simply a jerk who doesn’t know how to accept the word NO!

Relentless by the wonderful Via Mari had me hooked from the very start and kept me captivated until the very last word. I was literally on the edge of my seat towards the conclusion of the book. Part of the story does run along side the previous book in the series so I found it very beneficial that I had read the previous book. My recommendation would be to start this series from the very beginning not just because the characters story lines will flow better for you but because its so AWESOME and you don’t want to miss anything!!
Relentless Brings us the story of Layla, a very strong willed determined woman, hiding a genuine soft tender side, who is looking for her sister and the man who killed her cousin. Along comes the Super hot, determined and VERY dominant Dereck. He wants to protect her and be with her but knows she is hiding things from him. On Viking Seas from the Forerunner series By Jay Veloso Batista is a vivid, creative and well written novel by a truly talented Author. Every step of the story that the Author takes us on is carefully crafted to make us feel like we are truly IN the story with the characters. The story is told from various characters points of view which I think adds to the readers connectivity with the story.
I do feel however, that my experience would have definitely been further enhanced had I read the previous books in the series. So I suggest if you love well written characters and an action packed story told and therefore experienced from multiple points of view then this wonderful novel and series is definitely for you! The Alpha Bet guys Boxed set by Phoebe Alexander, well what can i say but you really have to read this fantastic collection of Fun, witty and heart warming stories. I mean who doesn’t like reading about gorgeous Alpha males and the women they meet who show them they might be alpha but love wins out in the end. Each story contains a bet between the group of five friends. i know, Men right? they will bet on anything and i mean anything.
A Hole…. funny guy Ace connects with beautiful bank teller Ella, who at the beginning thinks she just might help his friends to win their bet against him. With a some fun twists and turns along the way I wonder who really wins this bet.
The Big O…. Nerdy (and probably my fav, I mean who doesn’t love a sexy Nerd) Ozzy falls for equally Nerdy Hazel. Sweet Ozzy vows to help gorgeous Hazel with something very special but can he do that and keep his friends off his back about the bet they made with him.
Need the D…. Dante and Julia… this felt like an Alpha meets Alpha story to me at first but then we are shown the true softer sides of both Dante and Julia… this story takes a very unexpected turn for our leading man Dante, who gets a little mixed up about his bet…or is it a bet at all? you will have to read this fab story to find out!!
Hard F….. Fox and Jenna….Oh this was the story i was waiting for… Fox is most often the one to start all the bets so to see him finally get a bet put before him was a treat! Is Fox capable of learning more about what “real” life is about? I must admit though I started this story wanting to see him get his butt kicked but it didn’t take long for Ms Alexander to have me totally on team Fox for the win! I fell for Fox and His Sweet Jenna… i wanted their story to have a happy ending. To me that is one of the signs of a good writer when you can change someones opinion of a character.
Ride the C…. Cruz and Mia…the world of fashion and models can be so superficial and in this heart warming story you get to see the untold side of this so called glamorous lifestyle through the eyes and hearts of two characters who are at a point in their journeys where they need to make decisions…can they make them together though is the big question?

The SEAL’S Temptation …Wounded Hearts book #7 was filled with emotion, drama, action, loyalty and heart. While i think my experience with the book was hampered a little by the fact I started the series on book #7…how silly am i?…i really think you would love the series if you start from the very beginning and have all the background on the characters. I have learnt my lesson and that’s what i will be doing now! Ms Biggar gave us great characters and i loved their bond and connection. You doesn’t love some gorgeous navy seals with a strong depth of character, huge hearts and loyalty no one can break.

The Executive’s Decision By Bernadette Marie had me captivated from the very first paragraph. You just knew that someone having that bad a start to their day had to have more interesting things coming her way. The leading lady of this novel is Regan, a young beautiful woman who has gone through hell and survived, who now just wants a fresh start and a chance at a happy life. First step, New job but with that new job comes her Boss Zachary Benson. A “Hottie” according to his former assistant and a man who soon knows what he wants…Regan! She has VERY good reason for NOT wanting to Date her Boss so the question in your mind quickly becomes ..can Zach convince her he is not anything like her past and that he truly loves her no matter what! No path to true love is ever smooth and they have obstacles to pass. I was on Zachs side the whole way wishing Regan could see his genuine love for her and let go of the demons from her past to be with him. Not only do you fall for Zach and Regan, reading as quickly as you can to see what will happen, but the other characters around them also draw you in and i personally can not wait for more in this series! Thank you Bernadette Marie for these wonderful heartfelt characters and all the sleepless nights i see in my future continuing to read the rest of this series…i just can’t wait!

WOW What a fantastic read…i was on the edge of my seat the whole time and just could not put it down!
The leading lady of this story , Bryanna, is dragged into a dangerous and volatile situation in order to protect her family who she cares very deeply about. Along comes seriously dominant and deadly gorgeous Damian to find and rescue her. This is so not in her plans when she has her family to protect. Immediately Damian is not only wanting to protect Bryanna for the sake of his job but also because of his instant attraction to her. Bryannas very obvious submissive side calls to her brave protector.
i think the fact that there were times when i wanted to bop the main characters Damian and Bryanna up side the head for not just talking to each other, shows how creatively the wonderful Author Via Mari formed her characters to make us care about them. They have heart and depth that just makes you want to keep reading. The book presents both characters sides of the story all the way through giving us much better insight into the various situations that come along.
you will walk away from this book with a happy, full heart and begging for more.

Daisy’s Darkness By D.M Earl is book #6 in the Wheels and Hogs Series. This Story pulled at my heart strings from the very start. I have two daughters who have struggled with anxiety and depression so this book really hit home for me. It brings valuable awareness to topics which are often felt to be difficult to discuss…Eating Disorders, Bullying and cutting which effect many world wide. I applaud the Author for presenting these topics in a meaningful and heartfelt way. It is mostly written from Daisys point of view with some parts from characters such as Jagger, Daisys big brother and Griffin a friend who may just end up being more some day and many more important people in Daisys life. This is a must read
