I loved this romance story. I was gripped from the beginning. The author does an amazing job with the characters. Their passion from the beginning was instant and hot. You fall in love right away. Yet with the twists you also feel the complete heartbreak as well.
Mia is an art curator in a gallery. When she first meets Dylan sparks fly. Dylan is smart, so attractive, everything a woman could want. Dylan feels the spark too. He feels that Mia is so different to all the other woman he has had in his life. As they start to date their relationship starts to bloom and as fast moving as the relationship is you can feel them falling in love. However things aren’t smooth sailing and when some art pieces are stolen from Dylan’s home everything points to Mia being the theif.
Did Mia really steal those things? Was the feelings and connection all an act for Mia to get access to his home? And if Mia is innocent can their relationship ever be fixed after the lack of trust?

I have had the opportunity to read other novels by this author, and I have to say, her writing style calls to my senses and pulls me into the novels pages more than I thought, especially when it comes to this genre. I have been picking up a lot of novels as of late with a strong female lead, based in the 1800’s, and this is definitely in my top five list, if not three. I admire Cora, what with her perseverance after the loss of her father, and then to not have the full support of her mother when it comes to who she really wants to be.
I loved the way the characters were built up, the friendship shared between Dove and Cora, and the respect that the community seems to have for them both. Cora is young, and watching her build a new relationship with Mr. Byrne as well was very fun and entertaining. The suspense, intrigue, potential for romance, and friendship woven into these pages made for a delightful read, one you should pick up, now! Highly recommend this authors work.

Just wow! This book was such an amazing read, and really was impossible to be put down! This author created characters that were more than connectable, and yet the plot swept you into the world it resided in, and held you there with tense anticipation until you reached the very end of the book!
The book itself had its moments you were on edge due to the suspense, and times were you were held down with the sexual desire the book was able to give. What I loved most aside from the gripping plot, was the character Aimee. Such a great character, she grew as a character, but didn’t change who she was within her heart. I enjoyed Qadir as well. He was quite different than Aimee, but had that longing desire down path for sure. I loved the epicenes of danger and the adventure this book took me on. This book really had the wow factor, I knew it would be a good read, but I was truly blown away with the effect this book gave off! This was a book that was impossible to be put down! Seriously, loved this book!
Amazing read from start to finish! I was hooked and completely invested as I read through this book. The author was just as amazing. They created a story with sensational writing that kept you hooked as well as intrigued! This author and book are a must read for sure! Defiantly a high recommendation from myself!

This Time Around by Jane Suen. This is a great second time around romance. Its the story of Katie who breaks up with her high school sweetheart Chase so that he can pursue his college dreams and she can pursue hers. I was drawn in by the beautiful cover and intriguing title. I loved that the story was told from more than one character’s perspective. I thought the language was vivid and entertaining. World War II Historical Fiction is my favorite genre. This book did not disappoint. It is based on the real life experiences of Michelle Naget, 11 yrs old, and her family. The story starts with Michelle and her family are fleeing to safety from the Germans who have invaded France. Unfortunately, they are captured by the Nazis. They return to their house to discover their home has been commandeered. The Germans require that they serve for them. They live for four years with the Nazis under their roof which causes neighbors to question their loyalty to France. Under the Nazi’s rule, the family is put through much torment and Michelle find that she is determined to do whatever she can to protect her family. The theme that I found in this reading was the theme of hope. Michelle and her family have faith that they will come out of this alive and together.

Kate finds second-chance love with her high-school sweetheart, Chase. This book is so romantic. I am a fan of this author as romance stories have an amazing human emotion to them. You can truly feel the love, the pain, everything the couples go through as they are working through the relationship. Truly, the struggle is real. This story is so relatable. Even more so due to Chase raising his nephew. Decisions must be made, secrets must be brought out. Family members are just helping them. This is a well-written and developed story that will touch your heart and leave you feeling touched when you are done. Another winner for the romance category for 2022. Love!

This story had its own sense of a mystery as well as suspense. I really enjoyed this one. I was guessing all the way through as I read. The writing was gripping and had a strong sense of realism. I was impacted with realism as I read. This was a book that was impossible to be put down for any means.
The book really made me feel a lot of things. The questions I had just seemed to lead to more answers. I was constantly wondering where this book would lead to next. The story was gripping and from reading of the present and the past with the stories, I was very much intrigued and constantly on the edge of my seat, for the truth was at times far from reach, but a lot closer than I had thought! The book was a sensational read, and I could not put it down! Loved it! Truly a masterpiece of expert writing!
So amazing! I really enjoyed this book and all it had brought to the table. I highly recommend this must-read book. It is a book that was dear as well something we all should read! Do not miss out!

This is the first book that I have read of Carmen Radtke’s, I haven’t read a book involving women coming from Canada to become wives of miners. This was a quick and easy read with a good storyline and likeable characters. Ella is taking care of her niece, Tessa, after her sister tragically passes away from an illness. She’s just barely started the grieving process when she finds a letter from a lawyers office and finds that the letter pertains to a possible paternity suit. Who is the potential father and why is he coming forward now? Her sister never outright said who Tessa’s father was and no father was listed on the birth certificate. When it comes out that her sister was blackmailing this man for money Ella can’t help but wonder what other secrets her sister had hidden from her. Why didn’t her sister let her know that she was trying to contact the potential father? In the process of gearing up for a courtroom showdown over poor Tessa, she is fighting her growing attraction to the young lawyer. Is there potential for a happily ever after or will he break her heart by taking her niece from her?

This amazing paranormal read really blew me away. The writing was simply perfect, with plenty of twists and turns that made this paranormal read unpredictable. What a great book! A tale with sadness, love, family, passion, chemistry, a well written antagonist. Dystopian books are a new genre to me and they really take you outside box. The what if questions and the routes that can be taken make these reads the most fun. Antipodes was a really good story that most can relate to having lived through a pandemic. The characters were well developed and easy to relate to. The authors detailing and vivid descriptions played to my imagination as if I were directly in the moment with the characters. Cam was a great lead character. You feel for him having to make these life altering decisions and leaving everything and everyone he loves behind. As he adjusts to the new life he has chosen he does find stability, friendship, love, and a sense of self. However with the good you take the bad, and Cam finds himself under circumstances yet again where he has to be all in or all out.

Let It Be Love is the fifth book in the A Mustang Prairie Romance Series that I absolutely loved reading. This is a wonderfully written sweet Contemporary Romance that once you start reading there’s no stopping until you finish. I’ve read several books by this author and her style of writing along with her creative characters make for a fun yet emotional story. Sometimes love is worth fighting for and sometimes its where we least expect it to be. This is Eric and Kiki’s story . Eric is the town Mayor and Kiki is a Mega pop star and also was a successful child actor. These two are very opposite but yet the same. I loved there story it definitely took me on a bit of a emotional rollercoaster ride but it was definitely worth it. Can these two figure put a way to make their relationship work? Can they find balance? I highly recommend reading this book to find out what happens next. I can’t wait to read more from this Author.

I absolutely loved this book! Set in the year 1899 in Colorado Springs, Cora finds herself working for the famous Nikola Tesla in his secret lab after witnessing the dead body of his previous assistant. Against the wishes of her mother, Cora continues her detective work to help Tesla find his stolen papers and remain in Colorado Springs with the help of her friends and eventually her romantic interest. Murder, intrigue, and mystery all combine to make this a wonderful story with a very strong female lead set in the past which I find myself drawn to. The dinner party wraps up the loose ends and discover all the secrets that have awaited our discovery. The characters, who are strong and very colorful, are well written, and the suspense just continues all the way to the last page. I have read other books by this author, but I must say that this is my favorite so far. Easy to read and enjoyable, this book is the perfect summer read for an afternoon of intrigue and lounging around the pool! Definitely recommend as a Young Adult book especially for teenage girls to read about a strong woman and the trait of perseverance and hard work

I fell in love with Kristy’s work after reading Deliverance. Tale of a Body Thief is the first book in this series and a story that had me captivated from the very beginning. When I saw this book out, I jumped to grab a copy. It is a paranormal story with non-stop action and adventure, mayhem and madness, drama and suspense, thrills with gripping danger and let’s not forget the romance.
I love the unexpected and that you never know what you are going to get with Kristy’s writing and it keeps you on your toes. The storyline is well thought out and the characters are well developed and interesting. I enjoyed the character banter and the humour Kristy infuses in her tales.
I suggest you grab a copy and dig in. You will not be disappointed if you love paranormal/supernatural.

This is the first book I’ve read by the author. The Lie That Binds is a great read. This book had me hooked from the beginning. It was hard for me to put down.
Holly is the new girl at school. She isn’t sure where she fits in. She tries to make friends with the popular group only to be turned down. Then she finds out a secret that no one knows about. Can she keep it? The quote I chose for Holly is: “You and all your perfect friends! Nothing ever goes wrong for you! You have no idea what it’s like to be different or alone! You—”
Nathan has a secret he’s hiding from everyone. And if anyone found out then everything he’s worked for is gone. That is until the new girl finds out. Can Nathan make her keep quiet? The author did such a good job with writing a period piece. I felt like I was there. Isabel is quite the character. She is a lady in a sense of the word but she speaks up for herself and has quite the tongue. She is compassionate and brave. Although the marriage was arranged I believe Sir Williams perfect for her. Her Father did a good job choosing a husband for her. This book was easy to get lost in.
