This has to be one of the funniest romances I have read in a while! The entire book is filled with humor, but sizzling heat between Drew and Katie. The whole mascot idea was hysterical. I think my favorite part of the book was the way these characters actually met. It was a quick read and I didn’t want to put it down. It is a novella, but not having read the other Playmakers books, I felt like I didn’t miss out on anything, but I will definitely be adding all other Playmakers books to my list!

I have never met a more relatable character than Blakley. I too binge watch Greys Anatomy and indulge myself in my favorite DoorDash order when I’m taking a mental day.
I really enjoyed this story. It was extremely realistic. It showed the different aspects of human relationships. We saw grief, love, betrayal and forgiveness. It wasn’t a fairy tale romance but you can feel how deep the love runs. I don’t personally have experience with a loved one seeing the horrors of war, but it seems like the author did a very good job capturing survivors guilt and ptsd.

I love a series that can be read in any order or by themselves. This is book two in the Love Ties us series but it can be a standalone novel. So if you have read the first story it is ok. I really love the playlist at the front of the books. I think they are great companions to capture the essence of the story. I loved this story, instant connection is so hard to come by but it’s so beautiful. It really is as if that person was made for you. The chemistry between Damien and Cadence jumps off of the page. I enjoyed every minute of the book.

An enjoyable sci-fi romance which had me hooked throughout. When Dr. Moira McCann’s twin sister Claire doesn’t turn up for a visit, she gets concerned. Claire’s last text came from Allenville, a small town in the North Carolina mountains, so Moira travels there to find her. Arriving in the remote county of Allenville, Moira seeks help from its Police Chief, Seth Call. He knows that being early summer its mating season in the mountains for certain vicious species, meaning that anyone who wanders off the known paths becomes prey. However, despite Seth’s instant attraction to Moira, he must keep the secrets of his town, his people and their history. Although Seth keeps the truth about Claire’s true fate from her sister, Moira starts to think there is more to the little town than the sexy, but secretive Police Chief is saying. Moira is determined to discover her sister’s fate, even if the truth is unearthly. I found the characters to be likeable and relatable and the chemistry between Moira and Seth came across. The setting came alive through the descriptive narrative making me feel immersed in the storyline. The plot twists, element of suspense and of course the romance all kept me gripped until the last page.

This is an entertaining book for children. I found it to be quite cute. The story is told in rhymes, which is quite fun and kids like to read with adults. I read this with my granddaughter and she found it kind of cool that mouse wanted to go the moon. She’s a creative dreamer so the book hit home for her. I love the theme of dreaming. Mr. Bird finally came around. This would be a neat addition to childrens libraries.

This book has a great storyline and rhyming words. The illustrations are fantastic and well done. This book definitely demonstrates a team effort to help someone accomplish a goal. As I was reading it to my grandson before bedtime he giggled at the story and liked it. It’s a great easy read for bedtime, naptime or anytime. Definitely recommend this book.

The Music That Ties Us is the second book in the Love Ties Us Series and holy cow what a heartfelt amazing Rockstar Romance. I was pulled in from the beginning and pretty much devoured this whole book in one sitting. I literally did nothing else until I finished. The characters are relatable, complex, raw yet realistic and developed. My emotions were all over the place with this story and my heart was happy and sad for these two. I don’t want to give anything away. I highly recommend reading this book to find out what happens next. I’m already waiting patiently for the next book in this series. I’m sure it’s going to be just as good as this one. I can’t wait.

As this was my first book by Mr. Bradbury, I really didn’t know what to expect from his storytelling, but I am glad I took a chance on this book and will definitely be continuing the chronicles- so bring on Book #2. This is the first book in the Protect and Honor Series and the first book I’ve read by this author. I was pleasantly surprised to find one of the best romantic suspense stories I’ve found this year! I definitely lost a great amount of sleep because I couldn’t put this book down. I needed to know what happened at each stage and found myself staying up later and later. I really enjoy that this book was written from multiple points of view as it helps me get even further into the character’s mind. It feels like experiencing the book rather than just being on the outside looking in. There are plenty of emotions within these pages as well with engaging drama, tragedy, heartache, and mystery all woven throughout. I like to think I can figure out the plot to a story pretty quickly, but this one had me second-guessing myself with a rollercoaster of twists and turns. I am beyond excited to get my hands on the second book in the series. If you are looking for an intriguing romantic suspense, this should be your next read!

This is the conclusion to a very enjoyable series. I do highly recommend reading these books in order as the progression of the story is important to understanding how this all comes together. It’s always fun to read a series in it’s entirety, but it can bring about a bittersweet ending to a family that you feel like you’ve become a part of during the time you were reading.
This story is sweet but not without drama, action, suspense, and a few deep rooted secrets. You’ll find yourself feeling like a part of this family, especially if you’ve followed them all the way through the series. I also have to mention this cover. Just look at those eyes and the scenes behind him! Both drew me into this book!

In this third installment of the Sparky of Bunker Hill series, Sparky is trying to clear her boss Bookie. Bookie has been framed for a murder on Monkey Island. Also, Sparky has to deal with some not-so-fun developments like volunteering with Detective Bernie and Senior Officer Mug. This book is just as adventure-packed and fun as the first two. Sparky’s spunk is on full display. This girl is such a wonderful character. I love how determined and loyal she is. Her found family and friends make for some great interactions. The backdrop of 1932 Los Angeles is rich and engaging. It’s such a fun cozy mystery.

This is my first book by this author and the first in this series and I am already searching for more and wanting more.

This story starts out so funny. In a place where you could actually believe what you are reading. Meeting at a Halloween party, Drew and Katie have no interest in meeting a partner. But yet their costumes draw them together. Causing shenanigans to commence. From there the story keeps you reading as you don’t want to miss a thing. I will give no Spoilers as this is a Must read! I will tell you unexpected and unwanted romance is in the story along with Hockey.The author has once again brought forth an outstanding series. This one just adds to the fun and laughter. Drew didn’t want to be at this Halloween party. He especially didn’t want to be at this Halloween party dressed as a banana slug. But there he was, at least he found a nice place to hide and it had a stash of decent beverages. Then when she came crashing into his quiet, Drew wasn’t sure what or who she was but he was instantaneously intrigued by her.
Katie knew she wasn’t ready, if she ever was going to be ready, for a new relationship after that last one. He was a complete jerk. It was fine, Katie was very happy living in Singledom. She even told that to the giant banana slug. He was good with it. He felt the same. When Katie and “Sammy the Slug” decided they had enough of the party and wanted to escape, they did so only knowing the fake names they had given to each other. All the fun they were having on their grand adventure escaping the dreaded party came to a screeching halt when the red and blue lights flashed.
When Katie and Drew found out who the other was, they realized that they had been in each other’s orbits for several years but never quite made any connections. Drew and Katie tried to be friends. But the chemistry was too much. They both knew what each wanted out of this situationship. They had both said it the night of the Halloween party, happy in Singleville, not looking to move. Giving into their desires, they lit it up.
The problem with thinking that you know what another person wants is that you really don’t know. As Katie and Drew fought their feelings for each other, fought the pull to find out if the other one wanted more than just casual, fought their own insecurities and ghosts, trouble brewed. When the trouble bubbled over, there were broken hearts all over. When Drew figures out that he can’t live without Katie, can an over the top grand gesture heal what was broken by some careless words?
Plug your headphones in (or charge them) and listen to this captivating story!! Laugh, love, and get covered in dog hair along with these engaging characters!! Highly recommended for all the hockey lovers out there.

Sparky is back!! The Monkey Island Murder is Book 3 of the Sparky of Bunker Hill Mystery series and the story is quite enjoyable as ever. The story is a fun, historical cozy mystery with murder, mystery, mayhem, humor and antics. I do recommend reading this series from the beginning as you get to know the characters and build from there. Sparky is involved in a new mystery, this time trying to help Bookie proclaim their innocence as they were arrested on charge of murder on Monkey Island. Having to go back to school and now with this trying to help Bookie solved the who done it murder mystery….its bound to get crazy. Will Sparky help Bookie this time around with their super sleuth skills?
This was a fun read and quite entertaining. I look forward to what is to come with the next story in the series with all new mystery with Sparky!

What can I say abut this book, well this book really had me reading it till the end that’s for sure. It was filled with so many twists and turns, that really made me wonder what was going on next that I just couldn’t put it down. Like how can a couple, a detective and one legged man all have in common? Will this book do just that, with its story telling. I really felt like I was right along with the ride of this horror, gore, history and folklore ride of a story. it was such a well detailed and world that I really felt like maybe just maybe these people were actually real and maybe living down the street. This book really was amazing I love reading horror and gore and this book really made it worth the read. highly suggest maybe not reading this thou before bed!

I love that this book was a quick read. It had me hooked from the beginning and I didn’t want it to end. If you’re looking for a fun meet-cute with a nice flow, this is the book for you. Even though this book is part of a series, it could definitely be read as a stand alone as well.
The characters pull you in from the beginning. I was hooked instantly. This book has it all. Comedy, romance, antics, chemistry, adventure, and so much more.

You can be surrounded by people and still be lonely and I think this was the case with K.C. , bro g the daughter of a politician isn’t easy but her family is really next level awful and they don’t deserve a sweet soul like her and as for Gwen , Amber and Zoey, they’re a waste of space and oxygen , I’m not a mean person but these 2 really are most awful 🤮and I just want to say thank you to dearest Fiona and her nurturing nature towards our girl K.C . you’re a real gem my sweetheart 🤗
K.C. was supposed to marry someone who came from a powerful family but he stood no chance against Chamberlain, I could just drown in those eyes of his so I can’t say I blame K.C. 😍😉and yes hee initial impression of him was so off base because soon enough she’s is lost in him and these 2 are on fire 🔥I actually had a spray bottle of ice water on hand just in case my kindle over heated 🤣
There’s drama in bucket loads ! I laughed , I cried , I got frustrated , I shouted and screamed and I was sooooooo invested in this read ! I can’t wait to devour part 2 ! I’ve got questions and o need to know what happens !

Raccoon Reunion by Terri Sabol is a well written children’s book that children ages 4-8 can enjoy. Honestly children of any age can enjoy this story. My six year old son loved this book as it helped to overcome his fear of going to a new daycare and meeting new people. He related to this story and even said if Rocky can do it so can I. I love that it gives kids the little boost of confidence they need to push through. We’ve read a few books by this author and she’s becoming a favorite. The illustrations are colorful and bring the story to life. I highly recommend reading this book and follow Rocky has he learns to step outside the box and overcome his fears. We look forward to reading more from this Author.

Lost Hollow is the first book in the Alienville Series by Donna S. Frelick. I was so happy when I saw that Ms. Frelick had a new book coming out, and that it was the first book in a brand-new series. Woot!!! I have loved all her other books, so I really couldn’t wait to see what this new book had in store for us. This is an action-packed, sci-fi romantic suspense with plenty of intrigue, danger, adventure, mystery, secrets, drama, fate, politics, feuds/rivalry, race wars, discovery, a quest for the truth, small town setting, intensity, gripping developments, depth, rich detailing, vivid descriptions, wonderful world-building, multi-layers, community/clan/species dynamics, twists, violence, dynamic characters, agendas, tension, and emotion. Moira McCann arrives in the small sleepy-hollow town of Allenville, way up in the Smokey Mountains, on a quest to find her missing twin sister. Even though her sister is quite quirky, free-spirited, and can be a bit ditzy at times, there is something more to her ‘falling-off-the-radar’ this time. So, Moira arrives, determined to track her down. Right away, Moira feels the mysteriousness of the town and its inhabitants- there is something more going on and she won’t be put off or set aside. The local sheriff may be easy on the eye, but she feels he’s not telling her the whole truth. What is he hiding? When mutilated bodies start turning up, and secrets begin to be revealed, Moira finds herself more out of her depths than she ever anticipated. Mind-boggling truths. Wild Beasts. Killing sprees. Mating Season. Agendas. And cover-ups. Moira’s world will never be the same. Will she uncover the truth? What happened to her sister? Can they save her before it’s too late? With danger stalking, chemistry sizzling, and targets on their backs- things are about to get quite intense. Reading this book was like getting several stories in one. We also get several perspectives, which gives us a bigger understanding of what is happening- and a much bigger picture to appreciate. Following not just Moira on her search for her sister, and the adventure that ensues- but we also get her twins perspective of the events- as well as the whole ‘alien’ aspect of the story, which was really fascinating, well thought-out, and well-written. It gave me a bit of a sci-fi ‘Deliverance’ vibe, which I loved. I can wait for book two, to discover what happens with to Claire, and see where we go from here. Another engrossing story from this very talented storyteller! Happy Reading…

I absolutely love this series! It just keeps on giving and I forever want more. Discovering Desire is the next book in the Shattered Embrace Series. A dark romance series leading us into the world of Dominates & Submissives. However this story focuses on 3 main characters vs the normal two. A menage you may ask? Well you will have to read to find out. Derek is reeling. His half brother is unhinged and his crime family is ready to replace him. They want Zachary at the helm but Derek knows that’ll never happen. It has to be him. Agreeing to do what’s necessary he makes himself an even bigger target than he currently is. Despite all that he has a club to run. A submissive or two to chase. Justine has been wandering around the club for a few years and still hasn’t embraced what the exchange of power really means. It’s the focus of her dissertation but can she truly write it objectively? Jordan has been Derek consistent for years. But never exclusive. Just a fall back on when they truly want to have fun. Just one problem Jordan is realizing she’s more of a Dom then submissive. Not that she doesn’t submit to Derek. She always will, but what happens when fresh meat joins the picture? The three of them take part in a scene. A scene that’s going to change their lives. Derek and Justine have extreme chemistry. Jordan and Derek trust each other explicitly. What happens when their wants and desires cross? Can they work together as three? Is that what they want? Or is someone going to have to let go? Unfortunately there’s also threats to everyone close to Derek. When one ends up in the crossfire it rocks their world. So many questions. So many answers. I love these books and this author. I can’t wait for more!!
This was the first book I had read by this author, so I wasn’t sure what to expect. I skipped the first book inadvertently but didn’t feel lost whatsoever by starting on this one. I will say that since finishing this story, I have already picked up the first book because I needed more! The cover of this book stole my attention immediately. It’s simple but sophisticated and intriguing which fits the storyline perfectly. I loved that it is told by multiple points of view as it helps me get a feel for each of the characters and get inside their heads a little more. I read this in one day because I couldn’t put it down, and it felt like it went by incredibly quick. Although I don’t feel like anything is missing from this story, I would love to have had even more to read since the writing style of this author is absolutely amazing! What is going to be next in this series? I can’t wait to find out. I highly recommend picking this up before the newest one hits and you have to catch up!

Red is the first book I’ve read by MK Harkins. I was immediately drawn to the cover and its vibrant colors and soon intrigued by the fairytale retelling synopsis. I was not sure what to expect with a book loosely based on riding hood but I was pleasantly surprised. I feel like authors get “extra points” in my book when they include a playlist so this addition excited me right away. I loved the wit the characters had and found myself smiling at some of their thoughts. The book flowed really well and kept me interested. The imagery and vivid storytelling made me feel like I could pick up the vibrations and auras as well as the characters. I will have to go back and read book one!
