Where There’s Hope (A Well Paired Novel, #2) by Marianne Rice – Review by Jenni Bishop

Where There's Hope (A Well Paired Novel, #2)Where There’s Hope by Marianne Rice
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Where There’s Hope (A Well Paired Novel) by Marianne Rice is a wonderful  contemporary romance story. It is a love story where redemption and forgiveness can  soothe the soul. It’s a love story that means trust and the truth could mean second  chances may be possible and heal old wounds. It is a sad and beautiful story that I  found hard to put down and when I did I was thinking about how soon I could get back  to it. I loved this story. The characters are so well written that I could feel their pain,  their torture, their love and their emotions. I fell in love with them and Marianne has  created a lovely story that should not be missed. I look forward to reading more from  this author.

Crime Lord’s Captive (Crime Lord, #1) by Mia Knight – Review by Jana Teppih

Crime Lord's Captive (Crime Lord, #1)Crime Lord’s Captive by Mia Knight
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Crime Lord’s Captive by Mia Knight is the first book in her Crime Lord series. This is my first encounter with this writer and I am not sure how to describe it. This book is intense and insane, in a good way as it is as brutal as you can imagine when you think of organized crime and mob war and anti-hero and a heroine on the run and …. Man, what a twisted story the writer has spun and it does end with a cliff hanger though do not worry, the whole series is out (I am just late to the Vegas party) so you can just jump into the next book in the series and eventually get your closure and I will be along on the ride!
So, Crime Lord’s Captive is the story of Lyla (the Captive) and Gavin Pyre (the Crime Lord) and man, isn’t that one messed up relationship! Gavin is intense, brutal, cold, rich and once you see beyond the surface, I do not think you’d dare to picture a relationship with him unless you are willing to give up who you are … and obviously Lyla was not up to it so she is on the run, living a ‘normal’ life that does not include designer clothes and jewels and … well, but in this first book her life is blown out of the water as Gavin finds her and blackmails her to return … and please do not forget that there is a mob war brewing in the side lines so be ready, the first book ends with a cliff hanger! I am looking forward to finding out what’s next and if there is any redemption for Gavin …

The Brute by Tarrah Anders – Review by Jessica Leombruno

The BruteThe Brute by Tarrah Anders
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

The Brute by Tarrah Anders was another addicting read. If you’re looking for a fast-paced sexy office romance where the Beauty tames the Beast with a little revenge twisted in; this book will have you up-all-night!

Ben is the CEO of Adams Enterprises who will fire someone for just looking at him the wrong way. Ben needs a new assistant because they keep quitting on him (I wonder why). In walks Bella a small-town farmer’s daughter, but she can hold her own when it comes to Ben and she has him figured out. At Bella’s three month evaluation besides telling Bella how good she is at her job, Ben ask Bella to be his date to a Gala. This is just the beginning of their office romance…

Like I have said before about Tarrah’s books, she knows how to write some hot steamy scenes that will leave you needing a cold shower afterward. You will fall hard and fast in love with Ben and Bella; they are just so cute together and balance one another perfectly.

White Horse Slave by Rett Tyler – Review by Angela Hayes

White Horse SlaveWhite Horse Slave by Rett Tyler
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

White Horse Slave is the stunning debut novel by Rett Tyler. I was incredibly intrigued by the cover and blurb of this book and decided that I really had to read it- I am really happy that I took the plunge. This story really has so much going on in it but is so wonderfully woven that all the elements blend together into a smooth and addictive read. Ms. Tyler has a bold and powerful style to her writing that grabs you and holds you in the story from beginning to end. I couldn’t put this book down- I was so invested in the character/s and the story that I HAD to find out what happens. I ended up devouring it in an evening and came away with my mind blown. This book has all the intrigue, suspense, drama and mystery you could every want in a story- and the psychological aspect to this story is incredibly well done. Although the subject matter could be considered disturbing and heavy- the author hasn’t sensationalized or glorified it in any way, but has given a raw and honest look at a shocking situation. This is emotional, funny, heartbreaking, shocking, and riveting- all rolled into a superb story.
The characters are complicated, really well developed and somewhat quirky individuals who really bring this story alive. I was so invested in Rhiannon/Trinity’s story and was rooting for her the whole way thorough. She did frustrate me at times with her very negative view of herself, and the finality to some of her thoughts. But, I could understand why she was like that, after everything she had been through. Her inner dialogue was quite heartbreaking at times, and her disturbing little rhymes really gave another perspective to her mental state. I loved Ethan, he is divine. But I think there is a whole lot more to him than we have been shown here.
The ending had my jaw on the ground….. OMG!!! I NEED the next book NOW!!! I really have to know what happens- I hope there isn’t too long to wait.

Thank you, Ms. Tyler!

Isabella becomes the assistant to a beast of a boss- he’s abrupt, bitter, and difficult. He hasn’t been able to keep an admin assistant. What happens when Isabella walks into his life? Will she change to way he sees the world?
Another great romantic story from Ms. Anders! She didn’t disappoint with this great story. I can’t wait to see what she does next!

Holding on to HurtHolding on to Hurt by Charlotte Roth
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Holding on to Hurt by Charlotte Roth is a page turning drama. This emotional tear jerker was full of tragedy, anger, grief, hope, belief, unconditional love, determination, sacrifice, gripping details, unsettling revelations, strength, and hope. Again, Ms. Roth showcases what a versatile and talented author she is in this captivating read.
Irene Hurt gets the news that every parent dreads hearing, that her son has been injured and is in a coma. Her once perfect world is shattered in an instant and we follow as she and her husband both deal with their son’s situation quite differently. Right from the start, Irene remains hopeful- she stays be his side talking to him, telling stories, and hoping that on some level he is aware of what’s going on. But her husbands perspective isn’t so positive, and this puts a strain on their relationship.
Dealing with the shock, grief, anger and stress of the situation is further complicated with new discoveries and unsettling revelations. What ensues made for a very engrossing, heart wrenching, thought provoking and unforgettable read!
A word of warning though- have tissues on hand, you WILL need them!
Brilliant!

The Front Range Butcher (Jarvis Mann Detective, #6) by R. Weir – Review by Sheri Schrader

The Front Range Butcher (Jarvis Mann Detective #6)The Front Range Butcher by R. Weir
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

The Front Range Butcher: A Jarvis Mann Private Detective HardBoiled Mystery Novel is by R. Weir. This is the seventh book in the Jarvis Mann series but can be read and enjoyed as a standalone book. Jarvis is a sarcastic but hardworking private detective who has gotten busier and more involved in his cases since the series began. His reputation as solving the mystery has made him highly wanted. This time he is involved in a case with a serial killer that dropped off many years ago. The writing and story are great and kept me on the edge of my seat at times. I like the character of Jarvis, he has a tendency to say what is on his mind and not always making fans of what he says. I had read another book in the series and enjoyed the progression of the character. It is possible to read and enjoy the book without having read the entire series first. I will be checking out more from R. Weir in the future.

Every Breath You Take (Bayou Devils MC Book 3) by A.M. Myers

Wow!! Another grand slam from this amazing author. I can’t even figure out what words to use to explain how much i loved this book. No I take that back..This whole series…I already want to start all over and read them all again. I’ve said this in previous reviews but it’s worth repeating…I love MC books but this series paints this MC club in a different way that I just can’t explain. It’s more like a complete family and I love every single thing about it.

This book..sigh…might be my favorite of the three and I’m thinking if I went back and read them I would say that about each one. This author takes chances with her stories, you always think you know what’s coming, I know I do anyway and I read and wait for it realizing that what I’m thinking is going to happen doesn’t and in the meantime something really dramatic has happened. You would have to read this book to understand what I mean by that. I held my breath a few times and cried a few times and I have to say I laughed out loud a few times. The chemistry between these two characters was spot on and I still laugh when I think of a few things that happened between them.

The only thing that upset me was the last page, I kept swiping looking for who the next book might be about, there’s a few I’d love to read about, and reading about our book 1 and book 2 characters took me right back to their stories. This author has an amazing talent and this series will be a favorite of mine from here on. While I wait for the next in this series I think it’s time I look at what else there is available.

Loved it and it deserves way more than the 5 stars max.

Beaver Blunder (A Scandalous Slip Story Book #3) by Gwyn McNamee – Review by Angela Hayes

Beaver Blunder (A Scandalous Slip Story #3)Beaver Blunder by Gwyn McNamee
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Beaver Blunder is the third book in The Slip series by Gwyn McNamee. This series has been such a refreshing and fun reading experience. This is a series of romantic comedies- where all the stories are all original, very humorous, witty, incredibly HOT and steamy. I really enjoyed the first two books in this series, so my expectations for this book were quite high. Ms. McNamee didn’t disappoint and has once again delivered a fantastic story that I devoured in one very easy sitting.
Madeline Ryan is a criminal attorney who is rushing to court one morning and slips on the wet floor. She ends up on the floor with her skirt up over her head, on the one day she isn’t wearing underwear. Embarrassing. Mortifying. This will make her the talk of the courthouse and may ruin not only her reputation, but also her career. The one person who comes to her aid is infuriatingly bossy and incredibly sexy.
Owen Grant is a civil attorney who happens to be at the courthouse when a beautiful woman takes a fall on the slippery floors. He can’t help feeling concern for her, especially under the circumstances. She comes off as abrasive and feisty. But he sees through her prickly armour and won’t let her push him away. What ensues make for wonderfully funny, romantic and very sexy reading.
Ms. McNamee and her stories are definitely on my one-click list. I cannot recommend her, or her work, highly enough!!
I really looking forward to seeing what she does next!

Thank You, Ms. McNamee!

Keep Happy (A Silvervale Second Chance Romance Series Book #1) by A.C. Bextor – Review by Angela Hayes

Keep Happy (A Silvervale Second Chance Romance, #1)Keep Happy by A.C. Bextor
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Keep Happy is the first book in the Silvervale Second Chance Romance series by A.C Bextor. Once again Ms. Bextor delivers a superb story, that tugs at your heart strings and shows what a versatile and talented author she really is.
Katherine Morris met Mason Cole when she was 12 years old. They developed a firm friendship, the more time they spent together, the more their feelings developed. But circumstances forced Mason to move away, leaving them both devastated. She does her best to live her life, but its never quite the same without him. She marries and has two adorable daughters. Her marriage isn’t what she had hoped. She is unhappy, and her cheating husband only adds to her woes.
Then Mason returns to town and old feelings come rushing back. What does fate have in store for them? What about her marriage? Will they get their second chance at happiness, together?
This is a great story, with wonderful, complex and conflicted characters. My heart ached for what they had been through and I was rooting for them the whole way through.
The story has a great pace and a smooth flow. Its told from a duel POV, and the story moves seamlessly from past to present perspectives, to give us a better understanding of events.
I will definitely be reading more of Ms. Bextor’s fantastic books. I wonder what she has got for us next?

Thank you, Ms. Bextor!

Sacrificed (Ariya Adams Trilogy) by Anna Applegate is part of one of the best paranormal series I have read this year. This is the last book in the trilogy and boy it packs a punch. I love this  series and the vampires that are the main characters. The suspense and mayhem, action and twists make it hard to put down. Just who are the bad boys and who can be trusted? This engaging story holds your attention and the world Anna has created is easy to imagine. Love and friendships are those that you can relate to and you become invested in the characters. Ariya finds what she needs to hopefully rid the world of evil but in doing so she finds out the truth of just where it will leave her. Realising keeping her fate to herself is the only way to keep those she loves safe.

This is the first book I have read from this author and she blew me away. I love a good dark romance and this author exceeded all my expectations. This is the first book of the Monsters in the Dark series. You can’t help but to fall in love with these characters. I was hooked on the very first page and I could not stop until the end. It only took me a few hours to devour this unique story.

Tess Snow is a very lucky young woman. She has only one more semester until she graduates and a man that loves her to death. Tess is surprised when Brax her boyfriend tells her they are going on a mystery getaway for their two year anniversary. She is in love with Mexico the food, drinks, and beaches are like heaven. Tess is having the time of her life with the man she loves. Then their lives are turned upside down. Tess is kidnapped and brought into a very dark world. Tess hates this man they call Q but deep down she feels something that she has never thought she would ever feel, compassion. Will Tess be rescued or will she be his slave forever? Tess is beautiful woman that is really smart. She is a very strong woman from what she had to endure. Q is the master. He is very dark and also broken. Honey Gold (Murder in Savannah, Book 2) by Lindsay Marie Miller – Review by Jessica Leombruno

Honey Gold (Murder in Savannah, #2)Honey Gold by Lindsay Marie Miller
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Honey Gold was intriguing 4 stars read for my first book by Lindsay Marie Miller. As this is the second book in the Murder in Savannah series; I didn’t know that this series needs to be read in order. The blurb is what had me wanting to read this book; so I might have been a little confused in the beginning.

The writing and the “What will Happen Next” feel throughout the book, is what kept me turning the pages. There are little storylines in this book besides just the main story. I definitely will be going back to read the first book to fill in some gaps. I really want to know more about Tom and Addie. I’m looking forward to reading more of Tom and Addie’s story.

Looking For Trouble: Rogue Series Extra (Rogue Series Book #5) by Lara Ward Cosio – Review by Angela Hayes

Looking For Trouble: Rogue Series ExtraLooking For Trouble: Rogue Series Extra by Lara Ward Cosio
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Looking for Trouble is the fifth instalment in the Rogue Series by Lara Ward Cosio. The Rogue series is one of the best Rockstar romance series that I have had the pleasure of reading. I think I’m drawn to the series not only by the authors superb writing skills- but because of the characters she has created. These are not your ‘typical’ Rockstar romance stories, there is so much more going on in each book. These are not sweet, fluffy reads, these books are much deeper, somewhat raw and gritty stories that pluck at your heart-strings and take you on a journey that will be hard to forget. If you haven’t read the rest of the series, you are seriously missing out. This book could be read as a standalone, but as this storyline plays out in the same timeframe as the previous book, Finding Rhythm- so there are references and details revealed here that occur/occurred in that book. So, if you intend to read the series, I highly suggest reading all the books in their correct sequence, before embarking on this read. The information contained in those books will set you up in a better position to fully appreciate this fantastic story.
I loved how supportive the band is towards Danny. It made for some real heart-warming moments. Although the topic of addiction could be considered quite heavy reading- but this story proves to be uplifting and inspiring. The sensitive subject/s are handled in an honest, realistic and insightful way. There were scenes that made my heart ache for what Danny had been through, and there were a few tears along the way. There were also touching moments and a few laughs as well. Having the characters from the previous books make appearances in this story was like revisiting old friends- and I loved catching up with them and seeing what’s happening in their lives, too.
Ms. Ward Cosio deserves a standing ovation for this story- she certainly exceeded all my expectations. This instalment has a different tone/mood/flavour than the other books in the series but is such a worthy and wonderful addition to the collection, and my favourite of them all!
That ending made me want to continue reading, I had tears in my eyes and while I thought how fitting that ending was for the story- at the same time I didn’t want it to end, I wanted to turn the page, go on to the next chapter/s and find out every new detail.
I am really looking forward to Ms. Ward Cosio’s next book!

Thank you, Ms. Ward Cosio!

The Front Range Butcher (Jarvis Mann Detective #6)The Front Range Butcher by R. Weir
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

The Front Range Butcher is book six (and the seventh instalment) in the Jarvis Mann Detective series, by R. Weir. This is a fantastic detective story, with lots of mystery, suspense, danger, a serial killer investigation, intrigue, tension, and action.
We have met Jarvis Mann in the previous books- and I just love this character and the series as a whole, so much. This book brings Jarvis his most dangerous and testing case yet. When a serial killer is back in action after a couple of decades, Jarvis is tasked with the investigation which will test him like never before, bringing lots of danger, as well as pitting him against a cold and calculating killer. In a race against time before the killer can strike again, with secrets, and hidden agendas- will Jarvis be able to bring closure to the case, once and for all?
Mr. Weir has out done himself yet again! This is such a superb story that held me in its grip from beginning to end. It is a complex and multi-layered storyline, which Mr. Weir expertly choreographed into a smooth and gripping tale. This has just taken the top spot as my favourite of the series, so far!
I can’t wait to read the next book “Mann in the Crossfire”!
Brilliant!

Thank you, Mr. Weir!

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Michael’s Heart by Lori Thomas Harrington is a phenomenally good story. It is such a beautiful, emotional, and moving story that left me a blubbering wreck. It broke me and then pieced me back together again. I read it a week ago and I have tears in my eyes again now as I write this review, thinking about it how much it touched me. It is a story that will stay with me for a very long time, and one I will go back and read many times over the years. I am having trouble doing this book the justice it deserves- and I don’t want to spoil it by giving too much away. I highly recommend diving in blind and let the story wash over you- you really won’t regret it…. As with Ms. Thomas Harrington’s previous book “The Point”- this is definitely one of those stories that you don’t expect to have such a connection to, or one that would have such a powerful effect on your emotions, but it will definitely leave its mark on you. I will warn you though before you start reading, to make sure you have LOTS of tissues on hand, because you WILL need them.
Ms. Thomas Harrington is an exceptional storyteller whose work I will always be happy to read. I wonder what she has in store for us next?

Showtime (Game Hunter, #2)Showtime by Mark Kloss
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

4 Stars

Showtime is the second book in the Game Hunter series by Mark Kloss. This Book is a zombie story with a difference. It is a Dystopian/paranormal/ Zombie story- with some action, drama, mystery, and humour. The story is very original- and entirely entertaining. It is a fun read, and really gave me the feel of ‘Hunger Games’ meets ‘The Running Man’ meets ‘Warm Bodies’.
Tremayne, Red and the team training and planning for the Game Hunter TV show. There is a lot at stake and failure will have deadly consequences. They are pitted against professional game hunters, where their chances of success seem minimal at best. Who can they trust? Will they outwit the professionals and beat them at their own game? Mr. Kloss is a new-to-me author and I am really pleased that I took a chance on this book.
This is such a great action-packed adventure- Mr. Kloss takes zombie lore and gives us his own unique spin on it and weaves a great story in the process. The characters were well developed, complex and likeable- they each had their own unique characteristics, quirks and flaws. I loved the banter between Tremayne and Red, and the camaraderie of the group.
Bring on book three!

Thank you, Mr. Kloss!

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

The Finder of the Lucky Devil is the first book in the Lucky Devil Series by Megan Mackie. What a great find this book has turned out to be! WOW! I certainly wasn’t expecting that. This is an exceptionally good urban fantasy/cyberpunk/neon-dystopia story with paranormal elements, magic, action and a slew of mystical and mythical creatures.
I am not even going to try to give you a run down of the story, as the blurb does a far better job than I ever could- plus this is a book you really don’t want any spoilers to. Ms. Mackie has delivered a rich, vibrant and vividly detailed story set in a cleverly constructed and interesting world, and the story is quite enthralling- which is testament to Ms. Mackie’s superb writing and world building skills.
There is so much happening in this story which hooked me right from the get-go. It’s got a real noir feel to it, and lots of neon-dystopia and cyberpunk elements, too. The story twists and turns, with lots of surprises and unexpected developments that had me reading long into the night just so I could find out what happens.
I can’t recommend this story and author highly enough. I have already pre-ordered her next book. Can’t wait!
Kudos!

Game Hunter by Mark Kloss is a fun read. At first I was hesitant because I thought the Zombie genre had been done to death with them being brain dead, shuffling, rotting corpses but Mark has done a good job of putting a new spin on things and his writing lets you have a laugh. Thinking and intelligent Zombies, who would have thunk it possible. This book is fast paced and there is full steam ahead non-stop action throughout most of the book and at times it was a little repetitive but it keeps you intrigued. The story is definitely an easy to read and entertaining and most of the characters are well written, others seem a little over the top. Just when you think you have everyone and everything figured out, Mark throws in another little twist.

5 Stars

This is the first book that I have read from this author and I am amazed. The story was so well written. It bit into my emotions, chewed them up and spit them out. The book is extremely intense right from the beginning until the end. There is a lot of violence making it a hard read but well worth it. It is definitely not for everyone because it will have triggers for some. I had to put the book down a couple of times in the beginning, my heart was breaking with the terror that Tess was going through.

Tess is content in her life. She knows there is something lacking in her relationship with her boyfriend so she’s hoping this vacation can ignite things once again. Unfortunately she is kidnapped, drugged and sold. She is terrified and alone, stuck in a situation that would break most women. Tess found within herself a strength she didn’t know existed. She is a fighter. Tess’s emotions are a roller coaster and she pulls you along for the ride.

The author pushes boundaries and though you may not agree with certain things, you can fully understand what Tess is feeling and going through. Only from being sold and bound to a master that Tess truly finds herself and flies free.

This is my first book by Ms. Van Natta, and I am happy to say that it definitely won’t be the last. It is a spellbinding paranormal romance, with an insta-love, shifters, magic, witches, fairies, elves, wizards, drama, tension, and a lot of other mystical creatures….
Jackie Breton is on the run, having escaped from a very violent shifter pack- who want her back, dead or alive. They will be tracking her down and Jackie can’t afford to get caught. She has a lot to protect, not just her life, but the life of her unborn baby. You see Jackie, is pregnant. When she runs into trouble at a truck stop, a handsome stranger comes to her rescue. He leaves an impression on her, but she can’t allow herself to be drawn to him, or to ever trust him after she realises he’s a shifter. She’s had it with shifters, they only spell trouble- so she leaves him and the truck stop behind. But not long after, he once again helps her out of a difficult situation and promises to take her to a safe haven.
Trevor Hammond has worked hard to build his independent trucking business. He’s certainly one-of-a-kind… but very lonely. He has lost hope of ever finding his mate, so he’s completely unprepared when he bumps into her at a truck stop. He can tell she was in trouble and he really wanted to help- but it was also very obvious that she didn’t like or trust shifters. When trouble strikes, he leaps in to protect her- determined to do whatever it takes to keep her safe. When he receives a warning from a trusted source, he has no choice but to whisk Jackie to the safety of the sanctuary town of Kotoyeeesinay, high in the Rocky Mountains. This becomes a race against time, as danger closes in on them. Will they reach the safe haven in time? This story really held my attention from beginning to end, as I raced through the pages to discover what would happen to Jackie and Trevor.
This is a very quick and easy read. It has a fast pace and a smooth flow. I really enjoyed the authors rich, warm and romantic style. The story is emotional, and heart-warming. Her characters are wonderful, fully developed individuals who are very endearing- I quickly became invested in them and the outcome of their story, rooting for them the whole way through. This is a superb start to what is shaping up to be a brilliant series. Now I will be exploring all the other books she’s released to date…. And I can’t wait to dive into “Shift of Destiny”, the second book in the Ice Age Shifters series.

Thank you, Ms. Van Natta!

Looking For Trouble: Rogue Series Extra by Lara Ward Cosio
5 out of 5 stars

Looking for Trouble in the Rogue Series is Book 5 written by Lara Ward Cosio is the fifth book in her Rogue series. I highly suggest reading the previous books in this series to help you enhance this series and give you some background information on the characters. We even see what our favorite couple from the first 4 books are up too. Ms. Cosio’s writing skills has the ability to pull me into her story with ease. I have enjoyed all the characters in this series and Danny Boy is no different. I loved how the characters played off of each other and their quirky ways. They all took me on an emotional roller coaster ride were one minute you could cry the next you could be laughing . This has been an enjoyable series and this story just adds to it.
His name is Danny Boy that’s all he has ever been called. No surname needed. Even though Shay Donnelly, the drummer for Rogue, is his baby brother, everyone in the whole of Dublin hell, maybe even all of Ireland knows him as Danny Boy. Danny Boy has made a total mess of his life. He has burned bridges, lied, mostly to himself and Shay, now he is finally, he is drug-free and the struggle is painfully real.
Ms. Amelia Patterson, is his therapist extraordinaire, and thinks it’s time I go back to formalities. She says it’s only right now that I’m closing in on forty years of age and am trying to improve myself. But I have no illusions over the ways in which I’ve manipulated and hurt others just to get by, but something has changed.
So, he will keep going to the sessions, both to please my brother, and because I’ll need them more than I know. Especially once she enters my life and not only tests everything I’ve fought for, but threatens Rogue by stirring up the past.
It won’t be easy my life never is but now I’ve got a dog named Roscoe, a therapist named Ms. Patterson, and an unfamiliar, but welcome, new band of brothers backing me. All I need to do is stop looking for trouble.
I highly recommend this book/series…

Uncovering Camila (Wildflower Series Book #3) by Vivian Winslow – Review by Angela Hayes

Uncovering Camila (Wildflowers, #3)Uncovering Camila by Vivian Winslow
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Uncovering Camila is the third book in the Wildflower series by Vivian Winslow. I am really enjoying this series and discovering all the wonderful characters that Ms. Winslow has cleverly crafted. I must say that this book is definitely my favourite, so far. The book is a wonderful New Adult romance that enthralled me right from the first few pages.
I adore Camila, she is strong, determined and driven- knows what she wants and is working hard to make it happen. Then she meets Marshall and begins to reconsider everything she thought she wanted. She has some choices to make and we follow all the high and lows as this story unfolds. Marshall is a fantastic character, so swoony- and he’s perfect for Camila.
The plot is really well developed, and beautifully written- with descriptions that are detailed, vivid, rich and bold, she weaves an emotional, and very sexy story. Ms. Winslow has a very inviting style that easily pulls you into her story and keeps you turning the pages to find out what’s going to happen- and always leaves you wanting to come back for more.
The best of the bunch so far!

Thank you, Ms. Winslow!

The Unholy by Paul DeBlassie III – Review by Jenni Bishop

The UnholyThe Unholy by Paul DeBlassie III
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

The Unholy by Paul DeBlassie is psychological thriller about good versus evil. The story is mysterious due to its Native American and Mexican lore and mystical nature. The twisted religious cult was intriguing and there is a lot of action and suspense, evil and darkness to keep me reading because I needed to know what happened.

A delusion of grandeur is a person’s belief that they are someone other than who they are, such as a supernatural figure or a celebrity and that is exactly what is the basis of this story.

If you are looking for a book that includes psychological thrills, twists and turns then grab a copy.

Plot Twist (Romance in Rehoboth #3)Plot Twist by K.L. Montgomery
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Plot Twist (Romance in Rehoboth Book 3) by K.L. Montgomery is a fun romantic  comedy and I loved this sweet story. This story has many great facets that make for a  wonderful read. Set in a small town, with a musical, a dog and a second chance at love  will have you falling in love with these crazy wonderful people characters. I also love  that none of these characters are perfect they are just as flawed as the rest of us and  size doesn’t matter.     Meric has been burnt and has sworn off woman. Lindy is shy and is looking after her  elderly parents. But what they find together is something they never saw coming.    If you want to know what happens, then grab a copy today. You will not be  disappointed.

Beachcomber Danger (Beachcomber Investigations, Book 8) by Stephanie Queen – Review by Jessica Leombruno

Beachcomber Danger (Beachcomber Investigations, #8)Beachcomber Danger by Stephanie Queen
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Beachcomber Danger is the 8th book in the Beachcomber Investigations series by Stephanie Queen. In this book, Dane has to work with the Secret Service to help save the President of the United States but of course, Shana won’t let him do it alone.

This was a romantic suspense/mystery is packed with action that will keep you turning the pages. Dane and Shana still having time between the action, for some steamy sexy romance because we know they can’t keep their hands to themselves.

Can’t wait to see what Dane and Shana next case will be; will we be hearing wedding bells anytime soon?
