But by using the rich fabric of her personal life, psychology degree, varied work experiences, and amazing characters she’s met, Manda is able to populate her books with believable in-depth characters and enjoys pitting them against situations which challenge them. Manda lives in the beautiful countryside of Essex in the UK, the area’s claim to fame being the Wilkin’s Jam Factory at nearby Tiptree. She lives with her husband of over 30 years, who, along with her son, is her greatest fan and supporter.

This is the complete story of Nicholas and Kenzie. Right away the scene that starts the book sucks you in. It’s dark, and intense. I enjoyed this story, I believe the characters were well written and have a sturdy story. By no means does it make you feel like it was rushing. You honestly feel like you are getting the full everyday story. I enjoyed the other characters mentioned. It did kind of remind me of 50 shades of grey; with the rough upbringing, adoption, millionaire and being a part of a sex club. But this story in no way turns into a bdsm, I would say its an actual contemporary romance novel. I enjoyed throughly the start of their relationship and to see it flourish in the 2nd book. As well who doesnt enjoy a hea. I have zero regrets on picking this story up.

Enemies of the Desert was a good 4 star read and book three in the Silent Secrets Series. I was pulled in right from the beginning.

We continue from the previous book in the series. In this book we get a different look at Blackbird, a little bit more of a personal level. Things take an interesting twist when Blackbird comes face-to-face with her enemy.

Can Blackbird stop the evil plans and beat her enemy?

Overall I really enjoyed this book, we get suspense, action, danger and so much more. All of the secondary characters were great. Blackbird quickly became one of my favorites, she was a strong character and I would love to see more from her. This can’t be read as a stand alone. An Unexpected Sequel was fast paced and exciting. Robin has been a minion for the Demon Barbara for sometime after striking a deal with her. When Robin refuses an order for the first time, her life is in danger. I love the mix of romance, paranormal, and mystery in this novel. As seen in the authors other books in this series there is amazing character development. I loved getting to know Robin more in this novel as she pursued a romance with Jackson. I love how the girls all worked together later in the book too. This was such a creative and fun read. I highly recommend this book!

Obsessed (Lila Casey Series Book 1) by J Collins was a pretty okay read that had me smiling, annoyed and just got me in all the good fun feels.

This book was such a joy to read that I had it pretty much read in one sitting. As I said it’s fun, light hearted, and has some pretty good chuckle moments. I’ve read my fair share of vampire books, and I always love it when there’s a new spin on the lore. This author did a great job of making this read fresh and enjoyable. The romance was quick, but not overpowering, it flowed nice and once the other vampires started showing up, the story found solid footing and took off.

I will say that our MC Lila was a little hard for me to like at the start. She seemed a little immature for her age, and it was annoying. She did get better as the story when on, but if it wasn’t for Adam (our sexy vamp) then I don’t think I would have liked her at all, and might even have not wanted to finish the book. Other elements like detail and the overall storytelling was a major draw for me, and helped with the unlikeable MC. But as I have said she does get better as the story goes on, I just wish she wasn’t so, eyerolly at the start.

Overall this story is fantastically good, it’s has that quirky feel that just keeps you engaged and turning the pages. I’m definitely going to be following this series, as I believe that it’s going to be something epic. So yes, this book gets my super high recommendation and my stamp of approval.

Cult (Feisty Lawyers Book 3) by Seelie Kay was an actioned packed thrill ride that had me hooked from start to finish.

Book three in this heart pounding series, we are again taken on a dangerous action filled, mysterious adventure. Picking up where the last book left off, it isn’t long before the plot gets under way, and we get to meet some new characters. I will say that these books follow a continuous timeline, and have a connecting multilayer plot line, so I highly suggest reading the first two books, as it will help with this one, not only that, you won’t get the full effect of these characters and the danger.

Man I love this series and each book just keeps getting better and better. This book also kind of brings it back to the first book, so again that’s why it’s important to read that first book. I love the storyline for this third instalment, the attention to detail, the tone shits, the banter and of course the way the characters connect and grow.

I have nothing bad to say, only that you need this series in your life, so please take my super high recommendation and my stamp of approval, that you will be on the edge of your seat, and flipping the pages just to know if the outcome will be grim.

Madeline is a highly capable women in the most realistic of ways despite events that have unfolded within her life. Cynthia Hamilton is impressive with her detailed story line and character development. The sequence of events as that occur are fine tuned, multi-dimensional, and beautifully done. This story kept me engaged wondering which way the author was leading the character(s) next. Amazingly done.

From the first book, L.D. Rose has had me hooked into the story lines that are interlinked in their individual ways. In this particular novel, the author focuses on Dax who is amazing! He is the epitome of a man who takes no prisoners and gives it his all and then some! Add into this dynamic Cindel, who is fractured, yet not completely broken. The culmination of these characters into the story was beyond incredible while the author kept an energetic pace with unbelievable characters. Truly this is the best story yet and I can’t wait for the others to come! L.D. Rose is brilliant!!

This is such an amazing series! There is so much suspense, mystery, twists & turns, action, and etc that you would want in a series!

Dahlia is one of the strongest heroines I have read and she’s so fun. Alex is probably almost my favorite hero. They are the perfect team. This books takes into two worlds where there is a mystery behind dismembered bodies. can she catch the killer?

This is my favorite paranormal series this year. You can’t help but fall for the characters and get sucked up into the storyline

Smoke & Mirrors is the third book in the Nite Fire series by C. L. Schneider. This is a three book series and you will be missing some of the story that is referenced from books one and two. I was not sure what I was thinking with the title of Smoke & Mirrors but I can tell you that it was much more than I thought. Schneider is an author that does not disappoint. Her writing details are awesome and I personally fall in love with her characters. Dahlia and Creed are back to investigate the cities crime that just happens to leave body parts on the riverbank. Tracking Numbers is the mindblowing opening to Janice M Whiteaker’s new series called Lost Boys MC! I have read everything Janice has written so far and I love the diversity of her work – from paranormal to suspense to MC and it feels like she is getting better with every single book I am reading! I love MC series so I was curious and hopeful when I picked up Lost Boys and I have to admit that I cannot wait for the next one in the series (I have it already downloaded so …)
Tracking Numbers is the story of Kerry (Numbers) and Evan (Tracker) that are brought together because of Kerry’s father who is the leader of King’s Knights MC. There is chemistry, there are secrets, there is past and there is the potential of a new future … I loved the stoic strong alpha and a sassy independent woman and the journey they take together!
I inhaled Tracking Numbers and now I am ready for Hawk’s story!

Behind Blue Eyes by CS Duffy is the first book in the Stockholm Murders series. This book is an absolute thriller that will have you devouring it page by page.
I was vaguely familiar with this author before starting this book but I was not prepared from the absolute thrill ride the book took me on. I was hooked from page one and could not put this book down. I just had to know what was going on, who was to blame and whether or not Johan was involved.
I really enjoyed the fact that the main character, Ellie, was so out of her depth while also being so in control. Being in a different, new country gave a much more complex element to it. She wasn’t familiar with the area, or the people or the language which made it much harder for her to find the truth.
This book is full of suspense. It has twists and turns that will keep you guessing. There isn’t a dull moment at all in this book and I can highly recommend everyone give this a go.

Furbidden Attraction: A Cursed Romance by R. O’Leary is the first book in the Raven Falls Cursed Romances series. This was a fun and easy read that will allow you to get lost for an afternoon.
This is the first book that I have read by this author and it is on that I have enjoyed. I really liked reading about Louisa. She is thrust into a world she knows nothing about – and wants even less to do with – and handles it so well. I wasn’t quite as keen on Jack although I did think that they two of them worked quite well together.
The story was a good story. I didn’t find it to be too complex or in depth, the perfect kind of book to use to just switch off for a few hours. It was structured and well paced and is a great introduction to a new author.

With every book that I read in this series, I love it even more. Dahlia grows and evolves within each book. Her powers are growing although her self confidence is still lacking at times. This is one of the things that I love about her. She’s a deadly killer but she has a conscience. She wants to do the right thing and tries her best to protect the underdog.

There is one giant mess after another leading to a disaster of a crime scene. Body parts are spewing up from the sewers and Dahlia has no clue who’s behind it. Most of the body parts aren’t human. How is she supposed to cover up this mess? Everyday gets harder to lie to Creed because he sees through her bull. Dahlia’s getting tired of lying but needs to protect her friends.

There are many twists and turns which will keep you on the edge of your seat. The author throws in a few surprises as well. With certain information leaking out and some reappearances of people from Dahlia’s past, this book is definitely exciting. The author ends the book leaving you freaking out. I can’t wait for the next installment in the series.

Enemies of the Desert by Lisette Kristensen is the third book in the Silent Secrets series. This should be read in order for the series. This book might be short but does not lack in the story or character development. I really enjoyed this book and the continuing story of Blackbird. There is so much going on and at a frantic pace, I did not want to put it down until I was done. The story is great and I enjoy reading about Blackbird and how she is changing and growing as a person. I can’t wait to read more about this character and see where the story progresses in the future.

Cult is the third book in the Feisty Lawyers series and a book I couldn’t put down once I started reading . This is my favorite yet in this series, with each book it gets better and better. Get ready to be taken on some twists and turns that will have you on the edge of your seat trying to figure out what happens next. I highly recommend reading this series in order to get a better enjoyment. This Author sure knows how to grab you up and don’t let you go to the end. The characters are very well developed and easily relatable I felt like I was right there with them. What happens when the President’s goddaughter is missing? Can Agent’s Dianna and Anders help in finding out whom What happens when a simple case turns into a life or death case? Find out what happens next in this absolutely amazing must read! I can’t wait to read more from this Author.

Tracking Numbers is the first book in Janice M. Whiteaker’s Lost Boys MC Series, and what a fantastic start it is. I was hooked from the very first chapter and I ended up reading it in one sitting as I couldn’t bring myself to stop. I felt so invested in this storyline and the characters that I found myself praying for a happy ending and this author did not disappoint.

Even though this was a shorter read I still found there to be so much detail and it felt well rounded, plus the flow of the story was seamless. Now that I’ve finished this book, I look forward to continuing the series as soon as possible.

This is an MC read that I would absolutely recommend to anyone!

This romance read is the first book in the Moore Family Saga, and it completely took me by surprise, it was nothing like I expected. This storyline was detailed, action-packed, unpredictable, twisted, steamy and dark! From the beginning I was hooked, the author wrote with so much detail that made it easy to picture everything playing out, which at times made me emotional. I enjoyed how real and raw Kaiden and Alicia’s relationship was, I could easily feel for both of them in their times of struggle.

I can’t wait to continue with this series and get answers to all of my questions!

The description of Tracking Numbers drew me in, and I knew I wanted to read it. I haven’t read anything by Janice M. Whiteaker before, but it wont be the last! I will be reading the rest of the Lost Boys MC series as they are released. The writing is amazing, and draws you right in. I didn’t want to put it down, and the characters were wonderful. They had great chemistry, and a perfect balance of romance and fun. I liked reading about their internal turmoil as they struggle to not become like King, Kerri’s father and Tracker’s father figure. Kerri is such a strong female lead, and Tracker is a bad boy, with a kind heart. I highly recommend this book, and can’t wait to read book 2!

I have read a couple of books by this author now but Tracking Numbers is hands down my absolute favourite! It was an amazing read and I loved every single minute of it. The authors writing was just outstanding, everything about the book was just a complete hit for me. Kerri and Tracker – oh my gosh I totally fell in love with them straight away! Kerri was an awesome female lead! I think is probably one of my favourites! If I ever needed protecting I would honestly want someone like Tracker! Strong, alpha and will protect as hard as he can! Plus it helps he was extremely HOT!!
The author managed to keep me on the edge of my seat and completely hooked into the story with all the unexpected twists and turns and non-stop action! This truly was an outstanding read and I cannot wait to read more from this author again in the future.

A great read about love. Brant is a were-lynx who is madly in love with Kat, a telepath. When she is captured by two strange men, his world is turned upside down. Desperate to find her and keep her safe, he enlists the help of his friends at the Sanctuary. On the search, he realises how much he loves her and that he will do anything to save her. But when events unfold and she is found broken, will his love be enough?
A great read. Well developed plot with twists and turns that I just couldn’t put down. Well developed characters like Brant as strong and silent but also caring and protective underneath or Kat bubbly but struggling with anxiety underneath. Great cast of supporting characters like the kind and caring Sera or the determined Hunter.
I loved the visual detail throughout the novella like with the cabin with its hearth fire and comforter and flowers for a sense of comfort and familiarity, a safe haven away from it all. Or the forest in the snow with its hidden wonders beautifully written. Or with the decorations in the cabin with the fairy lights and the tree for a sense of magic and wonder in bright colours with the red and green wonderfully written. Or the use of sounds and smells throughout, so vivid it’s as if you’ re actually there.
A great example of world building with a series of fantasy creatures coexisting in our world alongside humans with their own rules and laws and societies. I also loved the inclusion of different fantasy creatures in the novella such as the were-lynx and the telepath adding something fresh and exciting to the fantasy genre and given the respect they deserve and true to their origins in the case of the telepath.
The mix of fantasy of shifters and magic and the realism of police and crime scenes made for a compelling read and was combined to perfection. I also liked the use of suspense as details are revealed slowly about the captors and the past, making you want to read on to find why they took Kat. Fast paced action and high stakes make for a captivating read. Overall, a great read and I would give it five stars.

The story Saint Code: Lost: Book Four of the Lucky Devil Series by Megan Mackie is an amazing fantasy book. It is a story that pulled me in and didn’t let me go until I had finished the last page. I love how the author is so detailed in her writing. I felt like I was right there with the characters. I enjoyed reading about the character of St. Augustina. She is strong, independent, and intelligent. She has taken a job that keeps her on her toes and she finds the attacks that happen get more personal and deadly. Is someone out to get her? Will she survive? Read this book to find out. The story has action, danger, and mystery. The story had me turning pages wondering what was going to happen next. The storyline is intriguing and will hook you in right from the start. There are additional characters that are introduced and some are familiar as they have been brought forward from the other books in the series. The book takes you on a wild ride that doesn’t stop until the very end. I would highly recommend reading both this book and the series.

I have read both books in this series that came before this one and I definitely enjoyed this one and as they go each one becomes my favorite of the series. I guess it’s getting deeper into Dahlia’s character and the teaming up of her and Alex is awesome.

I did like the both worlds aspect of this story and Evans is one of my favorite characters. This whole book had me on the edge of my seat as you never knew what was going to happen next, and there are so many characters in this story, I enjoyed each one.

I highly recommend reading these in order, although the author does an amazing job with helping along the way there’s just so much that ties this book to the other two and you really would be missing out if you started with this one.

I absolutely will read more by this author and although this is not a chosen genre of mine, she has found a way to keep me coming back for more and actually looking forward to reading her words.

Saint Code Lost by Megan Mackie a four-star read that will find you. This is number four in the Lucky Devil series but could be read a stand-alone, but I have read and love the series. This is fast paced and everything that happens will keep you on your toes as its off the wall but so much fun. St Augustina is a powerful character and one that will compel you to read the story, its not just action that moves the story along but the drama will keep you reading.

Cult by Seelie Kay a powerful four-star read. This is number three in the Feisty Lawyers series I have read the first in the series, but not the second I missed that one and I plan on going back to read it now, as the suspense and romance in the two I have read have been sublime. Dianna and Anders together are something wonderful. I enjoyed getting to see the dynamics of the cult and the details that went into this story.

It is full of twists and turns, no one is who they seem to be and the final outcome is one I did not expect. I was gripped from the first page

This is a short story about 2 brother’s who go and explore and cave when as they are making their escape Patrick suddenly dies.

This leaves Frank stuck in the tiny tunnels unable to get passed Patrick’s body. To deal with the situation Frank drifts off to a nightmare world and the story switches between his nightmares and the real situation.

I did enjoy the story but it was a bit confusing at the start trying to work out how to tell the difference between his nightmares and reality

Salty Sebastian (Smirk Series Book 3) By Jen Luerssen. Absolutely loved this book. It’s just what I was looking for. While I think you can read this book as a stand-alone I recommend them all for sure. This author takes readers on a story ride that leaves you wishing is wasn’t over. I stayed up well into the night because I just couldn’t put Sebastian and Kit’s story down. The characters are complex and relatable and I think they may be one of my top favorites for main characters this year. It’s well written and paced nicely. I sometimes forgot I was reading a book, since it played out in my head so vividly. I’m excited to read more by this author. I’m giving this story a five star review and highly recommend it!

Enemies of the Desert is the third book in the Silent Secrets Series and takes place shortly after the last book ended. I would highly recommend reading this series in order as it will give you a better understanding of the characters and how they got to where they are. I found myself lost in the pages and on the edge of my seat trying to figure out what happens next. In this wonderfully written story we find Blackbird in a situation where she is face to face with her arch-enemy Salena. Will Blackbird survive? Can the evil plan be stopped? Find out what happens next in this must read book.I can’t wait to read more from this Author.

Beachcomber Enemy was a great 5 star read.
I got pulled in right from the beginning and didn’t want to put it down.

We start with Dane and Shana’s home being blown up. They go undercover to try and find out who is trying to kill them. When they gain some information on the suspects things take an interesting twist. Will they be able to solve the mystery before it’s too late?

There was so much going on with this read. We get suspense, mystery, drama, and so much more. I was right there with them trying to figure out who it was. I really like this couple, they are both so strong. Stephanie Queen does a great job of pulling you right in with her writing. This is a great series and I look forward to reading more from her.
