This is a powerful story of Talks Like Thunder, an Apache girl who overcomes many obstacles throughout her young life. Taken from one tribe to live in another, finally finding her place, only to experience the “white-eyes” and the beginning of the end of the American Indians’ way of life. I recommend the book to anyone that enjoys historical fiction.

This is the 3rd book in the Kings Of Screen series. All of these books can be read as standalone but I loved them all. The author has a amazing way of bringing the character to life. Making them relatable and real, describe emotions and feelings that the reader can relate to and giving the characters personalities which endear them to the reader and makes the reader invest in their story. This is a romance which has got a push pull feel from the beginning. The characters chemistry jumps off the page and their flirtatious behaviour on the part of Nathan and the fight that Catrina puts up to make sure she keeps things strictly business is great entertainment. When Nathen and Catrina met it was a one night stand. An amazing time granted but that’s all it was. Catrina goes to work the next day ready to take on a big case of someone buying a studio only to discover that the person she’s representing is none other than the guy she thought she would never see again. Now despite the attraction and chemistry she needs to keep things professional because failing to do so could lose her everything she has worked so hard for.
Nathan has it all, money, a good career, everything except a woman to share it with. When he realises that Catrina is his attorney he realises this is his chance to capture the one thing he’s missing. But she isn’t that easy and when she tries to keep things professional he tries even harder to make her cross the line.
Both Nathan and Catrine have things they risk losing but what if losing the things they have could mean they gain something much more. Will they be prepared to take the risks to find happiness? Can they keep their attraction and history a secret?

Wonderful, fun and colorful story of Hudson! Learning to help his family when they need him until Hudson is just not up to helping. His family gathers around to help Hudson in return.
I loved this story and the importance of not only helping others but also taking time to help yourself in self-care and I believe young and old can learn and enjoy this story and also learn an important, valuable lesson.
What a great book and beautiful illustrations to go along with the story.
A business arrangement with an unorthodox payment was a great plot! Ethan starts out bent on revenge and his plan includes Siena. This book kept me up until 4:30 am so yeah, it is definitely engaging. Several things I loved but here are a few – how two characters saw Ethan’s character completely different, how the author kept us in suspense, and the way our hero started feeling about Siena. It was eye opening, exciting, and well-written. Looking forward to more from this author!

Acting Counsel (Kings of Screen Book 3) by Morgana Bevan. This is book 3 in the Kings of Screen series but can be read as a standalone. Its a fun, sexy, off limits romance. Its the story of Catrina and Nathan and they are so hot. Catrina Sinclair is a attorney that is a no nonsense, never break any rules person. While out one night Catrina meets a good looking guy and they hook up and it was amazing. The only problem is Nathan was that guy and now he’s walked into her office as her client. When Nathan met Catrina he thought she was in the missing puzzle in his life. He was determined to find her and make her his. He is very successful in his business life, has power and money now all he needs is a woman to complete the package. Catrina is trying to make partner in her law firm and must not break any of the rules. Sleeping with a client is against those rules. Will Nathan be able to talk Catrina into being his even though her career dreams may be shattered or will Nathan lose out on the woman of his dreams? This is a fun spicy romance that I loved. Each book is amazing so do yourself a favor and read it today!

I began this series in book two and was lost, so to really enjoy and understand I had to leave this book and start with the first. I am so glad I did because this is one of my new favorite series and will give all of Russel Archey’s works a chance, hoping he dazzles me like he did with this series. It began in book one with a tear in the sky that allowed a much darker world to leak into Alda. Book two is a continuation of the chronicling of the dying world told from all different characters. There is so much dread and adventure in this series that you can’t shake it from your mind just because it is finished. I only wish I had book three out because I keep reliving my favorite tales and impatiently waiting for more. This is one of my new favorite authors in my already favorite genre – a rare find!

The Bond was an exciting story! I always love a good enemies to lovers novel and this one is werewolf flavored! The main heroine is on a journey to save her pack while the main hero is forces to find a wife, a task he begrudges. Lines get blurred when undeniable chemistry flares and makes them both question their resolve. If you love werewolves & heat-laced friction, this is a must read!

Nadija Mujagic, you are my favorite in this type of Psychology game mixed in with Thrills and mystery. I love it from the beginning to the end. Love how Mitch thought that he can control his past and buried his memories down but there is a trigger that will bring forth who one can be. The author had me at first but then there was to think about, like my study in psychology, there is more than one point of view in every thought of a killer never estimate who the victim or the killer can be.
Debbie Cromack did an amazing job with Angelo and Lucia. There was a lot of confusion between these two characters that showed how true love is sometimes in real life. I admire the fact that Angelo stood his ground for a while to really come forward and tell Lucia how he feels for her. Lucia out of emotion should of stop and thought about it through because in the end humans will always make mistake and regret it. But Angelo showed her how he really feels for her and he is willing to take care of her.

Since I read The Crown of Stones Series, I loved this book because it gave me insight and was fully understandable. Troy only wanted to leave the past behind but when you have the need to get back in the game it is hard too. When Troy and his friends went out to this Isle their worst fear became a reality. The Author C.L. Schneider did an amazing job, Love this book.

This is a new author for me which I enjoyed reading and look forward to seeing what is next for this author. This is a fast paced paranormal story where the author used details to make the story come to life. The characters are creative, strong and added to the entertaining value of the story. I enjoyed how they pulled me into their world of vampires with secrets and lies. Their destiny is theirs together but others may have something else in mind. Is there a happy ever after in store? This is a well written story where the author used details to make this story realistic. I had no issues picturing myself in this world. I enjoyed watching the growth of the plot and characters throughout. I enjoyed reading this story and I highly recommend it.

I found this book to be well written and hard to put down. I enjoyed how the characters pulled me into their world with ease and kept me coming back for more. The author’s use of details made the story realistic. I had no problems picturing myself in the story with the characters. I enjoyed watching the chemistry and growth of the characters that made the story easy to read. I highly recommend finding out what happens with this single mother and new club member. What will happen when the past comes crashing into the present. Don’t miss out on this one. A great story.

Well leave it to me to read a series out of order. Thankfully this author has written this story (and book 2) so well that each can be read as a stand alone and while there is some character overlap, everything makes sense.
Main character, Joe, is an ex-Marine and a Dom. These are the only good things about him in the beginning. I don’t like him. I was more than half way through this book and I still didn’t like him. Joe is angry and his anger is definitely misplaced. However, at about 75% Joe redeems himself and holy moly! The sex and all the good stuff in this story is REALLY good. The heartache and trauma though is really tough and explains the hardness of these characters.
Hunter is the woman in Joe’s sights. According to Joe, she is the reason for all his misery. Hunter is just trying to survive and create a happy healthy place to live for her and her son. But to be honest men suck. And family isn’t much better. The men never live up to her standards, something is always missing. Who knew sexy, grumpy Joe would be it.
The title of this book is perfect. I am glad I did not read this book first as Joe’s character in the beginning was almost a hard no, I almost needed a safe word just for him to go away. Good job Victoria Saccenti!
Looking forward to reading the next story from hot Central Florida and this author!!!

My first book by this author and I can not wait to read everything she has written! This story is so hot and even though it is book 2 and I read it out of order it made complete sense! This story can be read as a stand alone.
Arely has been in love with her brother’s best friend Kurt for as long as she can remember. But since he is a few years older he only sees his best friend’s kid sister. Kurt however does see something special in Arely so he is extra nice and sweet while they grow up. Of course life goes on, things happen and these two lose contact. When circumstances and danger bring them back together and the sparks fly!
I really enjoyed this story. The characters are believable and loveable. The location of Central Florida is perfect, the weather is as hot and charged as Arely and Kurt!

I have to admit I haven’t read anything like this book in quite a long time but I am so happy I picked this book up! It describes the life of an American Indian during the time of the English settlers. It is so well written that you truly can see all the characters and their surroundings so clearly in your minds eye as you read. The feelings brought forward by the authors talented writing is something you will carry with you for a very long time.

This was a great 5 star read. This is book three in the series and I continue to be pulled right in. If you like friends to lovers you will love this one. My emotions were all over the place with this one as well. Angelo and Lucia were great, I really enjoyed their story and it was a journey to finally get to the right place. You can read as a standalone but I suggest starting with book one in the series. I look forward to reading more from this author and series. This is the first time I have read a book by this very talented author and oh boy was I taken on an emotional rollercoaster!! So much so I know it will stay in my heart for a long time. It deals with some very tough issues, warnings are given at the very start so please be sure to read them if you have trigger concerns, but this author writes it so well I simply can not imagine anyone reading it not feeling every possible emotion intensely. My feelings towards some issues covered in this book were strong already but damn are they reinforced now!!

4 Star’s Bound by the Hinterlands by Bree M. Lewandowski
Bound by the Hinterlands is a Fantasy Romance that is a shorter story that honestly took me a bit to get into the story. But once I did I had a hard time putting it down. I enjoyed reading this book and the characters are developed, creative, real and some are raw yet relatable and they made the story come to life . This authors style of writing and world building is incredible once I got into the story. Its packed with drama, danger, turmoil, action, adventure, romance and so much more. Cressida has had one dream her whole life and that is to have her own life on her merit. Seeing as she has an abusive and controlling father its hard for her to imagine that happening considering he’s arranged her marriage to Baron Caravahl Alzeid. Follow along with Cressida on her journey to the Hinterlands and find out what happens next. There’s a few twists and turns that had me turning the pages. Can Caravahl save her darkness even if it means risking everything? I’m looking forward to reading more from this Author.

This is book two of the series. It can be read as a standalone. It’s the first book I’ve read of this series and now I definitely need to go read book one!
Maria is finally free of her unhappy marriage. The only problem, she has no where to live. Money isn’t the issue, she just doesn’t have a plan in place. Maria decides she needs some time with her sister. However, when she gets to her sisters house, the only person she finds is Oz. Figuring they are both going to the same place, Oz offers to go with her to the wedding. There is instant attraction between Oz and Maria. The only way to complicate things? Maria offers to finance his band. Now she’s his boss and they are walking a thin line.
This book sucked me in and I couldn’t put it down! Who doesn’t love rock stars? This book has some angst, all the chemistry, and all the emotion! It was such a good read! I need to read more!!

This is book 3 of the series but it can be read as a standalone. I didn’t feel like I missed anything in the story. It was so good though that I plan to go back and read the first two.
Catrina is level headed. As an attorney, she is great at keeping things professional. That is until her celebrity fling ends up being a client. There is a strict rule about not sleeping with clients. They are certainly going to test that rule. Nathan has everything he could want. Until he meets Catrina. He knows she’s off limits but that doesn’t change anything.
There is so much chemistry between these characters that it’s hard to read and not root for them even if they are supposed to be off limits. The book is so well written, I couldn’t get enough! I feel like I devoured it so quickly! Definitely going to read the other books in the series.

What a great romance story. Ben is an entrepreneur, loving husband and doting father. He remembers the trauma he previously experienced when his family learned of his indiscretion with another man, leading to him being treated in the controversial means of conversion therapy. His wife honestly believes that Ben being gay can be handled if he stays the course and focuses on what was learned in therapy and his love for his wife and children.
We find Ben struggling with his personal thoughts when confronted with an interesting moment while interviewing an intriguing young man named Caden who often frequents Ben’s coffee shop. Ben immediately finds himself wanting to know more about him and even hires him to help run his second business location. To keep things on the up and up, he mentions Caden and how interesting he is to his wife. Even in doing so, he finds himself thinking of ways to spend more time with Caden.
The reader is brought along with Ben’s journey through conflicts and awakening throughout the book. While the journey is difficult, I think it could truly be an eye opening story for anyone looking to explore their own personal journey and experiences, or simply learn how someone in this situation tries to deal with life altering situations.
The author did a great job expanding on the depth of the two main characters and the complexity of the subject matter.

So in this book we already have met Cole and Riley. And their still at war with one and another. It will be making you question if they will part ways or if they’ll overcome and have a happily after. I’m really happy with what I read in all. The series is flowing together nicely.

Cole and Riley are playing a game of catch and chase. They’re attracted to each other but are hesitant to give in to it. I really enjoyed this book but it also had me contemplating on a similar movie. The similarities were to stop doing what she was taught and enjoy school. In all it’s a really good book and I highly recommend the series.

I loved Laurent and Phoebe! I cannot wait to read the rest of this series! There was a lot of back and forth between these two, and plenty of heat. They are definitely meant for each other.

This is Book 2 of the Wounded Hearts series and I did enjoy book 1………I LOVED this story book 2 of Enzo and Candi. This story gave me quite the emotions….slow burn romance, heartbreak, forgiveness, redemption, spicy moments and the connection between two people….Enzo and Candi….the connection!!!
Candi is a strong, independent and career driven women who stops at nothing to achieve her dreams as a photographer….a chance encounter at an event she meets Enzo. Candi is not looking for anything series, her heart has so many walls up….but Enzo give her the spark and need that she needed to feel…and break down the walls. When truths come out with Enzo’s past that pull Candi back into past pain…will both Enzo and Candi survive and find the love in each other that they both seek?
I highly recommended this series and reading the books in order…but this story….my heart!!!

Underneath the Whiskey is an interesting read about a man struggling to balance his life. Benjamin struggles maintaining balance between his blossoming coffee shop business, his tumultuous relationship with his wife, and the sexuality he has worked very hard to repress. I found some aspects of the story very compelling, such as the use of reparative therapy along with shock therapy in order to convince Ben he isn’t gay. But overall, I felt the story was a little slow and drawn out. I often found myself thinking of other things while reading (which rarely happens). I just didn’t feel fully connected to this book like I thought I would be. While Underneath the Whiskey wasn’t quite my cup of tea story wise, I do feel like Chelsea Lauren still delivered authentic, believable and relatable characters that the reader could connect with.
