When I saw that this book was MMF erotic romance. I said Heck yeah! This is right up my alley. It is part of a series, but reading it as a standalone is no problem. And it is spicy! We have our MM couple Dane and Mike. Dane seems to think something is missing from their relationship. And suggests adding some fun and spice in the form of a woman. The story was well written and fun to read. The characters were very much their own. I truly enjoyed this from start to finish.
The Messy Kids is a fun 30-page story with bright and colourful illustrations by Nicolas Milano. The pictures bring Lois’s words to life. Children as well as adults will enjoy. It is nice to read children’s books that bring such joy. I like that Lois’s stories have messages within and that we get to share these with our children or grandchildren or those that we love. These books are geared for kids ages 4-8 years of age. It is nice to sit with them and watch as the gears turn, and their imaginations run wild. Chester has better things to do and honestly what child likes to clean up after themselves especially when it is not him making the mess. All he has to do is teach cat-faced aliens. Easy, right? An excellent book not just for special occasions.
This book is the third book in the kings of screen series. However, it most definitely can be read as a standalone. This is not the first book I have read by Morgana Bevan. I have come to expect a few things from a Morgana Bevan book. The first is well written characters who are well developed and have fantastic (read: sizzling) chemistry. I know the plot will be super fast paced. And I know that I will not be willing to put the book down until it is finished. This one is absolutely no exception. Catrina and Nathan are well developed characters and they have such fantastic banter. The type of banter that exists between two people who have such fantastic chemistry. This is a dual POV storyline that is done very well. I am a big fan of a dual POV as it lets you experience situations from both of the main peoples perspectives. I loved that we got to experience the story from both Catrina and Nathan rather than just one of them. Their chemistry and attraction just leapt off the page. I definitely recommend this story!

This is the 3rd book in what has become one of my favourite fun easy-read series. Each book can be read as a standalone, but I recommend reading them all, especially as past characters make an appearance.
I enjoy the author’s writing style, it’s easy to follow and draws you into the world of Hollywood through the scenery depicted and characters created. The characters are developed and show growth as the book progresses.
This was a fun read which follows Nathan and Catrina as the work closely together after their ‘history’. I was rooting for them, as with every couple in the series so far, from the beginning.
I can’t wait to get hold of the next in the series!

I love this series! I fell in love with the first in the series and so had to read the second. It’s just as good if not better!
I don’t usually watch reality TV; I find it too cringey, but this wasn’t an issue reading this book. There’s a solid foundation to the plot (which is what is lacking for me in over the top reality TV) and the characters are well developed with their back stories and personal growth in the story. It was a fun read as was the first, and I’m sure the author is quickly becoming a favourite of mine.
I enjoyed Abi and Finn as a couple and I’m sad that their story has ended, but I look forward to the next book and next couple!

I was very excited to get my hands on the next book in this series. Although it is the third book this can be read as a standalone. This is such a fun cozy mystery story that is pure entertainment from start to finish. I thought the story had been so well put together. It was intriguing and kept you turning the pages and yet maintained a lighthearted feel to it throughout. I thought the characters were such fun and contributed to the lighthearted feel. I enjoyed getting to know them and watching them develop as the story did. This book is a great combination of fun and mystery and I would definitely recommend it.

This is a fantastic follow up to the first book in the series and I couldn’t wait to start reading it. I loved delving into this continuation of the story and refamiliarizing myself with the characters. I would definitely suggest reading these books in order. As with the first, this book is well written, creative and utterly engaging. It took no effort for me to connect with this world again. I thought the story followed on so well, it really didn’t feel like anytime between reading the first book and the second. The characters in this book feel like they have been carefully selected to create an imaginative story. They weave so well together and are all interesting to read about. I enjoyed every part of reading about them. This book is fantastic and well written. I cannot wait for more.

I always enjoy this author’s book and The Messy Kids is a fun story with full of imagination and wonderful illustrations.
Chester needs to clean his room up by his mothers request….but Chester has more fun things to think about and do. When he has The Messy Kids to help….will Chester be able to clean his room with the help and make his mother happy?
This story can be enjoyed for all ages and I know I certainly look forward to each book that this author writes as we all can learn how to be helpful and amazing!
This is the first book in a dystopian series and I’m glad I came across it. The blurb did not do it justice, it was so much better!
The author created a unique class system and within this system built an incredibly vivid world for the characters to inhabit. The plot(s) had me gripped beginning to end, I’ve not read a dystopian novel that had me so invested in a long time, I’m obsessed.
There’s twists, turns and corruption and it’s written so well! I want to rave about it but don’t want to accidentally give away any spoilers.
I’m emotionally invested in Juliana, her situation and the adjustments she’s had to make and the strength and determination she’s found to survive is palpable. You can feel her emotions as she muddles through the new life she’s been forced into.
Can’t wait to see what’s yet to come in the series!

Ghosts of Alda is Book Two in The Obscured Throne Trilogy. It picks up where the first book left off so you will want to make certain that you have read book one or you might feel a bit lost. It is a dark horror fantasy that takes place in the Land of Alda. Telling the story from multiple points of view we learn of each character’s struggle to survive in a post-apocalyptic style world after The Rupture destroyed their world and the sacred, magical aldyr trees. Evil forces have taken control of Alda and held it in its grip with the Black Gnarl being at the center of it all. Their may be hope for the Land of Alda and its inhabitants because good forces are being sustained by the Fifth magic. Will the good forces be able to save them or will evil continue to destroy everything they know? This is a gripping tale full of danger, suspense, drama, mystery, intrigue, magic, and dark secrets. The author has done a masterful job of crafting vivid imagery that fully immerses you into the story and characters that you quickly become invested in. Ashes of Aldyr is Book One in The Obscured Throne Trilogy. It is a brilliantly written collection of short horror fantasy stories that had me hooked from the first few pages. Each story is linked together because they all occur in the Land of Alda. Each has different characters that are attempting to deal with the destruction caused by The Rupture in his or her own way after it viciously tore apart their land. Once sacred and magical aldyr trees were destroyed and have become scarce and now Elves are dying because they rely on the sacred power of the aldyr branches. The characters are all struggling to survive in a world that is slowly dying all around them. Something sinister is coming and danger lurks around every corner as the characters try to survive in a post-apocalyptic world that has been destroyed by evil forces. The individual stories weave together beautifully, and the overall story had dark and sinister undertones. The scenes were vividly described and really suck you into the story as though you are there with the characters. The author has done an amazing job of blending horror, fantasy, and magic in a post-apocalyptic type of world where dwarves, elves, and humans fight for survival. I look forward to reading the second book in this series.

This is the 3rd book in the Hidden Valley Elite series. I loved it!! I have read all the previous books in this series and i might have squealed a little when i got this book. Damon Savage is a football star destined for greatness. Skylar hates sport and athletes, that includes Damon. He has other ideas when it comes to Skylar. He can’t seem to stay away from her and he will do anything to get her, while she will do anything to help her friend. This book does end on a cliffhanger but seriously it is so good I can wait a month for the conclusion of Damon and Skylar’s story.

This is part of the Physical Collection series however these books are standalone reads. The author does a good job of explaining the concept of a polyamorous relationship and all the complications that can arise from that type of relationship as well as how beautiful the relationship can be when all parties learn to respect and embrace the other partners views, wants and needs. Dane and Mike have been together for 7 years and like any relationship it has its ups and downs. Both Dean and Mike are bi-sexual and when Dean announces he would like to add a woman to their relationship so that they can have a family Mike isn’t so sure. After adding a woman to their relationship in the past didn’t end well its left Mike feeling unsure about taking that route again. What follows is a story of how Mike and Dean find their way by adding not 1 but 2 women to their relationship and how they all navigate the complications that involves for them all. Will this be the exact thing that’s needed to make Dean and Mike’s relationship even better or will adding the extra people cause a rift between them that can’t be healed.
This story is very steamy in parts but the author is able to convey so much during those parts of the story that just the characters getting intimate. There is so much that a reader can sense from those moments that the author doesn’t spell out. Overall it was an enjoyable read.
Beautiful art work. Chester wants to to have the skills and qualities the messy kids have, he thinks they always do things better than he ever could, but, in the end, he is the leader, showing the messy kids how to clean up properly. I love this book showcases the good behind cleaning up your mess, being a leader instead of following along and, the imagination of children.

I really enjoyed everything about this book, right from the beginning. I couldn’t put it down or find out what would happen next to mouse. This read was filled with so much that can really keep you in the story till the end, sci-fi, adventure, action, violence, murder, mystery, suspense, drama. The way the settings were detailed it makes you feel like your right there in the story watching like a fly on the wall. It really brought the story to life and makes you feel like this world could be real. Mouse is an incredible character, she has to fight as a journalist but ended up seeing something that maybe she shouldn’t have, but she is a strong-willed girl. Mouses development in the story is incredible it’s like she grow up right before your eyes. The other characters are amazingly well written and well developed it makes you feel like you know them in real life. This was an incredible story and im happy I was able to read it.

I have read several books by Lois Wickstrom, and all of them tell a message or solve a problem but through a narrative or story instead of being preachy. I can see kids making up their own imaginary friends, or even turning this into a STEAM experience and have them make a messy helper to remind them to clean their spaces.
I appreciate how the illustrator always depicts kids with different skin colors, disabilities, etc. as well as the central messages of the story line. Some picture books tend to be too wordy for young kids, but this one does not- I could see young kids really enjoying it!

Enjoyable and definitely a hilarious read, I’m excited to read the rest of the Kings of Screens titles and sink my hands into more by this author.
If you’re a fan of one night turning into so much more, or forbidden attraction, or sexy men, then you’ll likely love this book too. These men are all tall, handsome, and YUM!

This is an author who writes fun and entertaining children’s books. I have enjoyed reading her books from the first book I picked up. They are great children’s stories that are engaging and have colorful pages that could tell the story without words. In this story Chester is asked to clean his room. But he finds cat-faced aliens who seem to get him in more trouble with his mother. Can he teach these aliens where his things belong or will he find himself in more trouble. I enjoyed Chester and his imaginary friends. They are great characters that any child will enjoy reading about and what happens to them. I highly recommend this book and the other books by this author.
Dystopian novels are my favorite. I feel like there are not enough of the genre out there, but let me tell you, this is a great one. The author knows how to create amazing characters, a world that you can easily place yourself into, and a plot that flows seamlessly. I started this novel absolutely despising Juliana, but by the end I wanted to be her best friend. She starts out stuck up (as you would expect from a high caste) and she is put in her place by becoming a white star. I truly feel that she realizes by the end that she is supposed to be a moon.
The only bad thing I have to say about this novel is that it can be a little dense in parts, but that is because the author is creating this amazing world with explicit detail that cannot be missed. In my eyes, that does not deserve one less star; I cannot fault an author for detail. I also love that the storylines fall together by the end of this book. May is one of my favorite characters because she is an old lady that wants to help everyone she can. She ends up saving Anthony’s life, but I will not go into detail about that. You will just have to read and find out for yourself. I cannot wait to dive into the next in this series because I just cannot get enough!

Acting Counsel is another fun story and the third book in the Kings of Screen series by Morgana Bevan. It is a close proximity romance tale in the heart of all the glitz and glamour of Hollywood. It can be read as a standalone but as I always say start at the beginning you never know what you may be missing. This light-hearted contemporary romance is a quick read. I enjoyed the banter and the push of the relationship between Catrina and Nathan. I love that the story is told in dual POV. It shows you who the characters truly are. It exposes them warts and all. She’s not putting her heart on the line for a client and not one that has a reputation. He wants something real and is willing to let it all go. If you want to know what happens then make sure you read it yourself. With friendships and sassiness, chemistry and steam, angst and drama it makes for a nice escape for a few hours. I look forward to reading more in the series.

Ghosts of Alda is the second book in The Obscured Thorne fantasy Trilogy. I said it before, but I will say it again Russell’s work reminds me of Tolkien works. I found myself immersed in this post-apocalyptic world. This riveting tale is fast paced and intriguing. The world building, Russell’s imagination and the character development are all well-crafted. Multilayered threads have been woven together to create a multi-faceted world that is steeped in evil. The Ghosts of Alda shows world in ruin and people who are trying to save themselves from an evil entity. Ghosts of Alda is an original and unique action-packed adventure story that kept me engaged and the pages turning. The book is a nice blending of dystopian fantasy with the right amount of darkness, and intensity that had me on the edge of my seat. I am definitely hooked on this Trilogy now and looking forward to the third and final book. The story has you wondering where Russell will take us next.

When he finally goes inside, the aliens put all his toys under his bed. His mom is not pleased. And she can’t see the aliens. But, she tells Chester to teach the aliens where his things go. The aliens copy him again. Will his mom believe him?
Lois is a former science teacher. She has written a series of science-based folktales. In each modernized tale, the protagonist achieves a better ending because of learning scientific principles. Lois likes to garden, ride her bike with her husband, cook, and she votes in every election.
Ghosts of Alda is the second spell-binding book in The Obscured Throne Trilogy by Russell Archey. I am loving this fantastic series so much- after reading book one and developing a bit of an addiction for Mr. Archey’s work I couldn’t wait to continue what we started in the first instalment, so when this second instalment released, I put aside everything else I was doing/reading and plunged right in. This continues the intriguing adventure we began in the previous book- fully immersing us in a vividly detailed dark fantasy with a bit of a dystopian feel, plenty of action, drama, secrets, revelations, magic, agendas, mystery, suspense, emotion, and interesting characters- all woven into a rich, captivating, complex, and multi-layered plot. As with the first book, I love Mr. Archey’s epic storytelling talent, writing style, and his ability to completely capture my attention- immersing me so completely in his story that the ‘real world’ ceased to exist- and for me that is the mark of a truly skilled writer. He packs so much into his story, crafting an epic tale that came to life before my eyes as his world building skills are excellent- everything seemed so real and believable, it was easy to imagine everything he was describing, like it was playing out on a screen, not words written on a page. And as with the previous book, I can see this making a great movie or television series. The storyline is entirely unique, with lots of dramatic developments and other clever and unique touches that made the story quite gripping- a real page turner. It is told from multiple perspectives, which gives the story extra depth as well as added intrigue. I love the cast of character, each one is cleverly crafted into a fully developed individual with their own unique personalities, quirks, and flaws. They definitely were the ‘stars’ of the show here. I was fully invested in them and the outcome of their story. As I mentioned previously, I am hooked on this trilogy now and can’t wait to see where we go from here. If you love fantasy with a darker, edgier feel- then this is definitely the series for you- but I highly recommend reading the first book before starting on this one as there is a lot of important information, storyline, and character details that you should know before you embark on this second instalment to fully appreciate the adventure. What a beautiful and delightful read! This wonderfully illustrated story has an entertaining and imaginative storyline! The flipflop of traditional world to an animal world and their observations of humans was so fun. I just loved the characters, Ranger Marco and his adventure with Fawn and family exploring the human world was so cute. The characters and their interactions really made the story. This is an easy read that is fun for the whole family. It will put a smile on your face!

This is actually the first book I’m reading by this author. I have to go back and read book 1. However I must say this is by far one of the most creatively written books I’ve read this year. I could visualize everything the author described it. I could feel the fear the characters felt. I was dang near on the edge of my seat the entire time. At first I was a tad frustrated because every chapter focused on a different character and time. However it all came together nicely at the end. Im a little heartbroken that one of the characters I fell in love with had such a fate bestowed on her. But it made the story that much more impactful. I hope the good guys win in the last book. Definitely a 9/10.

My kiddos and I thoroughly enjoyed People Safari and its gorgeous illustrations! We immediately picked up other books by this author as soon as we finished this one. It will have you giggling and give you a whole new perspective of nature, animals, and our environment. I thought it was a very cute book and definitely made my kids pretend to be animals observing me for the rest of the day! I highly recommend picking this up and sharing it with the younger ones in your life.
I have read other books by this author so I figured it would be a good book and it exceeded all my expectations. This book can be read as a standalone but I suggest reading all the books in this series because they are great reads. I loved following the story of Hank and Ella Mae, there was so much emotion in this story. I found myself invested in these two characters’ lives and the outcome of the story. I was pulled into this story and couldn’t put it down until I found out what was going to happen between them and what was going to happen with Hank and Ella Mae’s careers. You don’t want to miss out on this wonderful story, I’m not going to give anything away so it’s my recommendation that you read it. I will be reading more books by this author.
