The cadence and rhyme are spot on throughout the book (easy to read and follow). I really appreciated th glossary/interesting facts at the end- saves Googling some of the concepts of the book.
I enjoyed the graphics- very visual, and the skywriting of “Shalom” with clouds was really neat. I also appreciated the mixed media art (real photographs and clipart). A little long for the youngest crowd, but I think ages 4 and up would enjoy the lyrical narrative and the illustrations.

Twisty, secrets, deceit, lies, greed and spice oh my! This Twisted Proposal had it….hold on tight and enjoy the roller coaster ride. I enjoyed this story of Ethan and Siena, and while this series could be read as a stand alone, I highly recommend reading this series in order.

Siena gets to Ethan in unexpected ways that he did not see coming. When the heat rises between them…will revenge and greed from others get in the way?

Undeniable is book 2 of the Central Florida Stories and I LOVED this story of Arely and Kurt. I recommend reading this series in order as you do meet Kurt in Book 1 a bit, but then this story picks up with his side and also includes other characters in book 1 into this book. I loved the connection of Arely and Kurt, they really had the sugar and spice that I love, drama, action, protectiveness, danger, and twists and turns that I did not see coming….and a love that never died.
Kurt and Arely grew up together years ago but lost touch after Arely left after a family incident and Kurt never saw Arely again. Years later the unexpected connection happens when Arely is in danger and in need of starting over with a new life and job..the past comes back with Kurt in unexpected ways. Arely and Kurt never forgot each other….and the re-connection brings sparks to them in unexpected ways. When very bad things start happening to Arely that lead her in a dangerous game trying to stay alive….will Kurt protect Arely when she needs him the most.
I really loved this book…..and reading to dive into book 3!!!

This book was great. I read it to my nephew who is only 10 months so he didn’t understand obviously since he’s not the target reading age but he really liked the colorful illustrations throughout the story. I’ll definitely be saving it for when he’s older. My husband and I really liked how it was an easy read and the lesson learned from the story. I plan on having my nieces read it also as they a reading ages and will understand the message in the story. If you are looking for a fun colorful story that has a wonderful message look no further. Five stars for this great kids book.
I loved this 3rd book of the Ground Rule series…..full of enemies to lovers, baseball, spicy romance, new beginnings, meddling friends, a sweet shelter dog and a relentless family. This story of Heath and Grace was fantastic and I highly recommend reading this series in order due to all the characters are woven in each book story-line so wonderfully, every book comes in full circle.
Heath is loving life being a professional baseball player and being surrounded by his wonderful family and friends. The one thing Heath does not have is a family of a wife and kids of his own. When Heath’s sister has her baby, Heath is love at first sight with his precious niece. The one woman he cannot get out of his mind is Grace…who works at local animal shelters.
Grace is focused on being independent and solely relies on herself in life. Working long hours at the local animal shelters, she does not have time for the dating scene and she sure as heck has no time for Heath. At a charity auction, Grace was not overly impressed with Heath and wanted nothing to do with him.
When a chance encounter brings Heath and Grace back….with the sparks fly or will the bitterness get between them? Will Grace swallow her pride and finally feel that she is truly good enough for Heath?
Highly recommended sports romance and I loved every character in these books so much and felt so invested. I cannot wait to see what this author has in the future for me to read :).

This may be my favorite book in the series thus far! While it is the third book in the Central Florida Stories series, it can absolutely be read as a standalone. You will likely find yourself picking up the previous books though because Victoria Saccenti will hook you in the beginning and never let go. The story of Ethan and Siena is an incredibly spicy enemies-to-lovers adventure that you won’t want to put down. I was completely engrossed once I picked it up and finished it in one day. I couldn’t focus on anything else at hand, only Twisted Proposal. Do yourself a favor and pick this book up and lose yourself in this twisty emotional rollercoaster!

Undeniable is part of the Central Florida Stories series, but it can be read as a standalone if you prefer. You will probably want to pick up the other books anyways because Victoria Saccenti’s style of writing is absolutely addictive. This read is full of riveting action throughout the entire book and has some HEAT. The spicy scenes definitely add to the story and don’t seem like unnecessary fluff the way some mature books can. You will love every moment of Arely and Kurt’s story and hang on to each word closer than the next. Don’t miss out on an amazing romantic suspense read or you’ll regret it!

This is the first book in the Central Florida Stories series, and it starts off with a bang! I hope you’re ready for a rollercoaster ride of emotions because that’s exactly what Deception is. I was drawn to this book by the synopsis that gives you the main premise, but definitely doesn’t give anything away. I don’t want to spoil anything by saying too much, but I promise you will be hooked to see what happens with Joe and Hunter. I tried to read as quickly as humanly possible to figure out what was going to happen next, but I never saw what was coming! I highly recommend picking this one up.

House of Arsceneaux exceeded my expectations! There are so many twists and turns in the story that it kept me on my toes waiting for the next secret to unfold. Not only was it suspenseful, House of Arsceneaux was also full of history, romance, and adventure. Caterina Novelliere transports the reader to many times and places throughout the book using amazing world building and delightful storytelling. The story is well written, if a bit confusing at times, and the characters were fantastic. Even with the paranormal element of vampires, Fae etc. the characters were realistic, lovable, and relatable. Overall, this paranormal romance was a fairly fast- paced read that is truly enjoyable from start to finish. I cannot wait to read more from Caterina Novelliere.

This book was adorable! I would recommend this book if your child is about to start school. The story will allow your little ones to understand that a teacher is someone who has a big heart no matter what they look like! That they are there to help and guide them to be their best self! The illustrations are cute and fun for the children to enjoy. Snuggle up close with your little one and read to them about how teachers are there for them!

I absolutely love how this author writes in little life stories and lessons into all her books. this one is about how if you do something that your told you will get rewarded and to show how satisfied having something done can feel. But I do have to say this book didn’t start off that way. it started as Chester doesn’t want to do what he was asked by him mom, which is something every kid doesn’t like to do, which is clean their room. Chester decides that he really wants to play instead and off he goes outside, and instead makes a bigger mess out there then what it was. But he had a little help from some new friends called the messy kids. Well, these messy kids try to help clean Chester’s room but instead just push everything under his bed, which his mom isn’t too happy about. This book has amazing pictures and illustrations that go very well with the story of the book. It was another really great kid’s book.

This was another cute kid’s story, the lessons that are taught in these story’s are so wonderful to teach kids in a different way. This book is about bullying, and name calling. All the kids are bulling colleen’s dad which in turn makes her sad. Everyone is laughing at him and saying what her was doing wasn’t right and that there isn’t a need for him to do it. But colleen decides that she wants to make it right, so she makes a plan that her dad must put his hands down and some things start to happen. So, was he really holding the sky up? This book was suer cute, and I loved the story it tells, the pictures and illustrations make it come to life not just in the words. Being kind, helpful, understanding, no judging, are all things everyone should learn to do. This was a quite wonderful read.

Holding Up The Sky (Giants and Monsters) by Lois Wickstrom 4 Stars
This is a cute, imaginative story about Colleen and her dad. Most little girls think their daddys can do anything. Colleen’s dad can. He’s a giant and he holds up the sky. Problem is , no one believes her. Colleen tries to think of a way to show everyone what he can do. When he lets go, things start happening. Read the book and find out what happens. The story is fun to read and has colourful pictures to enthral the children. I love reading this author’s books.

This was a really good kid’s book. This is a picture book that I think was super cute, it has Hudson helping doing things for others and doing chores around the house. But one day he started to feel overwhelmed, and I would even say stressed. So as the family sees what’s happening the story teaches Hudson that he needs to also take care of himself with doing self-care which is important for himself. This book was well written and a very learning experience for children to care of themselves. The pictures were well drawn and illustrated to the book; it really painted the picture of what was happening. We could all use some self-care and that its ok for others to help us too not just a one way.

This is the third instalment of the Central Florida Stories series, focusing on Ethan and Siena. Each book in this series can be read as a standalone, but I advise reading from book one.
As with the previous two books, the author has managed to enhance the reading experience with descriptive language and a smooth writing style. The characters are well-written, and you can’t help but get invested in them. Both Ethan and Siena show great growth and development as the story progresses from the difficulties of their pasts to their current predicaments.
This was another enjoyable read from the author and now I’ve come to the end I’ll be exploring other series by them.

This is the series book in the Central Florida Stories series and focuses on Arely and Kurt. This series can be read as standalone but previous characters do reappear so I would recommend reading the first for a deeper understanding.
The authors descriptive writing style adds to the reading experience and the characters are well-written. Arely and Kurt show great character development as their story progresses, which I love. Their struggles and reactions feel real, and you can’t help but root for them.
The more I read from this author the more I want to devour, and this hasn’t been any different. On to the next exciting read.

This is the first book in the series and focuses on Joe and Hunter.
I enjoyed the descriptive writing from the author and the way in which this book was written, it added to the reading experience. However as much as I loved the plot, it was the characters that left a mark on me. I loved that we came to know them both over time, not everything was revealed right away. This I felt also led to great character development.
There were times I wasn’t sure what was coming next, there were certainly some twists and turns and I was hooked beginning to end.
I thoroughly enjoyed this book and look forward to reading the rest of the series.

An enjoyable and engaging sports romance which kept me happily turning the pages. Professional baseball player Heath Bailey has a good life, amazing friends and family, and his team just won the championship, but he wants someone to love. Well, not just someone but the women he can’t get off his mind, Grace, and so in an attempt to see her he decides to go to the animal shelter that she runs and get a dog. Having met the incredibly cocky and arrogant baseball player at an event for the animal shelter and disliked him, Grace Dyer is not that happy to see him again. However, after their second encounter she can’t seem to stop thinking about him, but coming from different worlds she doesn’t think that a relationship would work, but Heath has other ideas! A sweet and steamy romance between two characters who’s chemistry sizzled off the page.

This is the third book in the Central Florida Stories. I have read every book in the series and I have to say that I am disappointed to see it come to an end, as it is just absolutely amazing. One of my favorite parts of this series is the characters. The depth of the characters is incredible. The book is filled with fantastic dialogue that drives the storyline. This plot is definitely dark and full of twists and turns. However, it is the kind that sucks you in at the beginning and you just want to keep reading and ignore all of real life. In my opinion, those are the very best kind of stories. I definitely recommend this!

Melissa brings her story to life by sharing the beauty of Israel through her eyes. Discovering new lands and historical facts of a land that is as diverse as its characters. Shalom Israel is a wonderful tale, and the pictures bring the story to life and the clipart is bright and colourful. I love that Melissa brought something a little different to the norm of picture books. It is a book told through rhyme which sets the tone of the story. Children will love this guided tour and give them a look at a place not many will have heard of. Not only is it a great educational story but it is fun as you journey through this adventure.

Grand Slam is the third book in the Ground Rule sports series. Each book can be read as a standalone, but you should start at the beginning with Walk Off and work your way through. Bree’s storytelling and the ease in which she comes up with amazing stories and the journey into relationships. This book is well written and is fun and with humour and emotional and intense at times. The story flows nicely and making it a quick and easy read making it easy to become lost in the story. The stories will keep you on your toes to see how things go and by the time you have finished you won’t be disappointed. Bree writes complex characters that are relatable and know what they want. Each couple have their own trials and tribulations to work through to become one. The men in the series will make you all hot and sweaty and these sassy and smart women feel like friends. The story is steamy with yet at times emotional and intense. Grace has never met a man she disliked so much until she met him. Now it appears he is back in her life, and she sees another side to him. Not that it would ever work. Or would it? Heath has everything he has ever wanted but the one thing to make him complete. Now he is ready to move the bases and make his play. I highly recommend you won’t be disappointed. I can’t wait to see what Bree comes up with next.

All consuming. This is the first book I have read by Victoria Saccenti, and though it is the third book in the series I have never read the previous two but plan to go back and read them. Twisted Proposal is just that, twisted but not exactly in all the ways you would expect. Told from both Ethan and Siena’s perspectives it pulls back layer after layer of secrets and twists to keep you hungry for more information. Ethan was born into an empire of wealth but found his own interests and only stepped into his father’s role when asked. Siena, also born into money, had a hardship that took everything from her including her parents’ deaths. Now with a dream to start her own fashion design brand Siena seeks out investors. With some start up from her first cousin Joyce, later discovering it was stolen funds from her husband, Siena seeks the investment of The Big Seven. Ethan, the one person that has a deep-seated need for revenge on Joyce, ends up being the only one that can help her, but he has some terms of his own. With no choice and her brother going missing Siena accepts. Everything begins coming to light when Bart, Siena’s brother, goes missing and the mob comes looking for payment on his debts. Joyce, having cheated on Ethan when they were in their twenties, over ten years ago, feels that he is still hers. Under it all Ethan has been both determined to take out his revenge on Joyce by using Siena, and entranced with her in every way, from her beauty to her personality he can’t get enough of her. Will Ethan get his revenge or let it go? Can Siena succeed in getting her brand started and turning her family’s money issues around? Will the truth of Joyce and the depth of her schemes ever be brought to light? The characters the author creates keeps you guessing on what they will do next and how they will respond to the circumstances that keep piling up against them. Enemies to lovers has always been my favorite troupe and this book checked all the boxes. Twists. Erotic. Complex. It has it all. I look forward to going back and reading more from this author starting with the first two books in this series.

This is one of those tales intriguing dark tales that you will love. Twisted Eros is a little gritty, a bit kinky, a little bit sexy and an interesting retelling of the Greek mythology Eros god of love and Psyche goddess of the soul. When you have a workaholic, the boss, a vacation with a twist, a fantasy, and you have a woman who finds herself in the darkness of an unknown world of wants, desires and curiosity. It is a fun but twisted tale that is full of excitement, angst, drama and family and much more. Kate is a workaholic, but she has her arm twisted to try something different for the vacation she is talked into. Only the vacation is not entirely what she thought. These are complex characters and their relationships come with lots of baggage. If you like elements of stories told on the darker side and sexy then you need to get hold of Twisted Eros and jump right in.

5 Stars Sacrifice Bunt (Ground Rule Book 2) by Bree Kraemer
Sacrifice Bunt is the second book in the Ground Rule Series. This is a wonderfully written Sports Romance that once you start reading its hard to put down. I literally read this in one sitting as I had to know how things were going to end. These two have some serious chemistry between. This author is one of the reasons I love Sports Romance so much. Her attention to detail makes the story come off the pages along with creative, yet strong and fully developed characters. This is definitely my favorite of this series yet. This is a fast paced story that will have you turning the pages. Can these have more than one night? I highly recommend reading this book to find out what happens between Noah and Zara. Im super excited about the next book in this series and looking forward to reading more from this Author.

Although a short story, this book is action packed and exciting right from the word go. The author has created a story that really draws you in and throws you straight into the lives of these characters. If you have read the main series you already have an understanding of these characters and it was nice to get a glimpse of them all again. I thought the story was a little confusing at times. It could be quite hard to follow, especially for a short book. However, overall I enjoyed the story and wanted to see how things would play out. I would definitely say it is worth giving this book a try.

4 Stars House of Arsceneaux (Servants of Morrigan: Immortal Creatures) by Caterina Novelliere
House of Arsceneaux is part of the Servants of Morrigan: Immortal Creatures Series. This is a fast paced Paranormal Romance that is packed with secrets, lies, magic , vampires, time travel and so much more. Things aren’t always as they seem. This is a new author to me and I’m definitely going to be looking into what other books they have written. Their style of writing and attention to detail along with creative, yet strong developed characters make for a wonderful story. The characters bring the story to life and you feel as if you are right there with them. Can they have a happy ever after? Does destiny have something else in store for them? I highly recommend reading this book to find out what happens next. I look forward to reading more from this Author.
