Holy cow this book was something else! It’s the first novel I’ve read by Manda Mellet, but defintely will not be the last! The detail and length of the novel reminded me of a lot of Kristen Ashely’s novels which is pretty awesome!

A Merry Texan Christmas was an absolutely adorable read! It follows Trey Prentice, the oldest Prentice brother, on his journey to a new chapter in his life after retiring from professional baseball.
Maggie Watson is the school librarian and all around Christmas lover. Known as Miss Christmas during December, she is ready this year to make her window dressing business the most successful it has been. That is, until Trey Prentice might ruin it all.
Trey Prentice has a secret that no one really knows. After living in New York so long playing baseball he has developed a huge love for Christmas. He never thought decorating his new shop window would chsnge his life forever though!
I absolutely love Trey and Maggie! Maggie has something to prove to herself and Trey as a family to reconnect with. Can they do their own things together? I absolutely adore Sweet Ridge, Texas! I hope there is more from this lovely Texas small town someday!

I’ll admit anthologies are usually not my thing, but this collection of stories was super fun to read! Just about every kind of story/type you can imagine!
The stories are well written and I like the fact that I was introduced to so many new authors. Just more novels to be added to be TBR list! If you love big city romances, this collection is just for you!

Grosse Pointe is my first novel written by Natalie Barnes and really only my second author who writes historical fiction and overalm I thought it was a wonderful story!
It follows Brek O’Brien and his friend Finnegan as they make their journey from their home country of Ireland over to the States. When they make it over they struggle to find work to really get this whole American Dream going for themselves, until one day they run into a man on the street who presents them with an opportunity.
Historical Fiction is a surprise genre I’m never really sure about, but never seems to disappoint, but especially the prohibition age. The stories are so in depth and the characters are some that you can’t help but fall in love with. Thank you for a great story!

She’s No Cowgirl is a standalone novel within a series by Brooke May. It follows Hunter and Kennedy on their journey to finding each other.
Back to school and all the sports she loves to watch, Kennedy is applying for a position as the lead sports writer on the school newspaper. But being a woman has always posed a bit of a challenge, even though she’s incredibly qualified for the position.
Hunter is back on the field for his sophomore year and he could not be more excited. As a lineman he is a big guy, but truly has a kind heart and works his butt off. When a girl literally runs into him down by the locker rooms after the first day of practice he is struck by their connection. Their chemistry.
Can Hunter and Kennedy develop a relationship? Should they even? What if Hunter finds out what Kennedy does? Who she is? She’s No Cowgirl is a super cute read!

Distant Heart Sounds was a pleasant surprise! I’ll be the first to admit that paranormal anything is not my normal genre. It took me a minute to get into the story, but I immediately liked the characters, especially Morgan and her co-workers/friends in the EC.
Morgan Cutler is a long time career nurse in the EC of the Good Sam hospital. She doesn’t have any family left, but has made her own family. After a very serious and life changing surgery, she has found that some aspects of her life are very different. Lucky for Morgan her friends and the new doctor on the floor are very accepting and intrigued.
I really enjoyed this novel. The writing was wonderful and the characters very fun! I am hoping there is more to come for Nurse Morgan Cutler!

Deception is my first novel by Victoria Saccenti and I truly felt like it was a surprise. But not in a bad way. The story follows Joe on his surprise path for revenge and Hunter on her journey to finding herself.
I wasn’t sure whether the intention was to find Hunter a bit hard to like at first, but if it was the writing did just that! I began to like her more though as I got further into the story and we got to know her a little more.
Joe was a wild card though. Ex-marine, adjusting back to civilian life, he is a unique guy. When he sets his sights on Hunter who knows what will happen!
Can Hunter and Joe be truthful to themselves or is there just too much below the surface? Too much to get passed? You’ll have to read Deception to find out!

Falling for the Texan is the second novel in The Prentice Brothers of Sweet Ridge series by Nicole Flockton. It follows the middle Prentice brother, Tyler, and his journey through his first wine launch.
Hiring a PR/advertising firm was not an easy decision. He needed something affordable, but something successful. So he reached out to his friend from college who worked at a firm in New York City. Tyler Prentice was surprised when a beautiful woman showed up instead of his long time friend.
Gianna Lucciana is not looking forward to Texas. Unbearable heat and humidity and small towns are low on her list of places to visit, but in order to prove she can do her job, she has to knock this wine campaign out of the park.
Gianna and Tyler have an instant connection. While they both fight it to hopefully be more focused on the campaign, there is a lot of attraction to fight and it gets increasingly harder. Can they make it past their differences and their own stubbornness to be together?
I am really enjoying this series and cannot wait until Trey’s story comes out!

One Hot Texas Summer is the first novel in The Prentice Brothers of Sweet Ridge series by Nicole Flockton. It is my first novel by Nicole Flockton and I really enjoyed it. It was a great mix of fun and flirty, but had some serious tones in it as well.
Kelly Turner is the local florist. She owns her own shop in town and her mom helps her run it. When her friend Macy is put in charge of the Founder’s Day Festival she ends up taking on a new role and partnered with the last person she expected.
Tate Prentice is the youngest Prentice brother, but currently the one with the most on his shoulders. Taking over his family’s peach farm, while his passion, is not an easy job! So when his brother volunteers his family’s property for the Founder’s Day Festival he is a bit frustrated.
Can Kelly and Tate work together? Will the small town gossip pull them part? Will the stress in each others lives prevent them from building anything real? Read One Hot Texas Summer to find out!

I must say I was pleasantly surprised by this story! I haven’t read many holiday themed novels before so I was a bit skeptical in the beginning, but I got over that pretty quickly. These characters were easy to like and The North Pole was written to be an amazingly magical place.
Jenny Claus is Santa’s daughter. She had lived as royalty since she was born, but now the time has come for her parents’ duties to become hers. She has three weeks until Christmas Eve and thirty suitors to go through to find her new husband and the future Santa Claus.
Logan Moss finds himself somewhere he thought was just a story. What do you do when you can’t remember anything and everything seems surreal? You go day by day. Logan gets to know the ways of The North Pole and one very special elf.
Can Logan and Jenny truly find their way to each other in three short weeks? This Christmas story is seriously the cutest and well worth the read!

Love Comes in the Morning was my first novel by Erin Bevan and it was such an amazing read!
Bakersville, Georgia is where Lesley finds herself looking for a fresh start. She just inherited a grand old house from her great aunt and it truly couldn’t have happened at a better time. She has a lot to work out, but she is going to take this fresh start and run with it.
John is a local contractor. Hesitant of city slickers, when his Uncle tells him he needs to take a job for this new lady coming to town he just knows she is going to be a pain. But as soon as he starts to get to know her, maybe he judged her a little too harshly.
John and Lesley are both going through their own personal issues. Each a little bit different, but maybe they will find that they could work on them together. I really enjoyed this story. The author did a wonderful job creating this book world in Bakersville, Georgia. The characters were really great and I didn’t want to out it down!

Be One with Me is the second novel in the Finding Love in Green Springs series. It follows Nolan and Sally who we met in the first novel, Be Brave with Me.
Sally is a city girl. Her whole life was in Chicago, her mother, her store, her life. But when her mother passes away and drops a shocking piece of information before her last breath, Sally has a goal. A goal to not be alone in the world anymore.
Nolan Green is part of Green Springs founding families. He owns and runs the auto shop in town. When he gets the call for a tow one day, he meets the most beautiful woman. Someone who isn’t from Mississippi. Quickly he finds out though that hid southern boy charm may not work on the only woman that has peaked his interest in years.
I really enjoyed Nolan and Sally’s stories and getting to know more of the Green Springs world. I loved that this story was happening at the same time as the first, so you still got a glimpse of Meg and Drew. I cannot wait for the next novel in the series!

New Jerk in Town is the first novel I’ve ready by Sylvie Stewart, but it certainly won’t be the last. I really enjoyed the characters and even though I haven’t yet read Jenna and Sam’s story or Ted and Haley’s story, I really enjoyed the world that Sylvie Stewart built for this series.
Jill and Milo met as teenagers. They slowly became friends through some miracle, but a misunderstanding by Jill caused everything they built that summer to shatter.
Milo always had a chip on his shoulder. One mistake changed everything and seemed to make things in his life much harder. But Jill was a breath of fresh air that summer.
But what happens when Jill finds herself stranded back in the same beach town. Broke and with very little options. What happens when Jill and Milo run into each other again?
I really enjoyed this story. I like that the hero, Milo, had vulnerabilities that most heroes don’t have. I like that Jill, even though independent knew when it was time to go for what she wanted. I look forward to more from Sylvie Stewart!

Forgotten Chance is the third and final novel of the Forgotten Trilogy by Virginia Wine. What an ending to Nathan and Bryer’s story!!
The story picks up where the second story ended. Cash is still around, digging his way into their lives and causing trouble. Can Nathan and Bryer’s love make it through it all? Or will Cash succeed and make it out the way he always intended to?
If you haven’t read this series yet, you really need to! It’s heart racing and heartbreaking!

Forgotten Promise by Virginia Wine is the second novel in The Forgotten Trilogy. This story continues following Nathan and Bryer on their journey.
Picking up where the first novel left off, we follow Nathan and Bryer as they get to know each other more and are still trying to grow personally. When Bryer’s past makes an appearance in her life again will Nathan be able to keep it to together?
I love the characters in this trilogy. Gen and Clayton are super fun too! I cannot wait for the final story in the trilogy!

Be Brave With Me is the first novel in the Finding Love in Green Springs series by C.A. Miconi. And Be Brave With Me might be on of my favorite titles ever! I absolutely loved how perfectly it fit with the story.
Meg Taylor is lost, well maybe not lost so much as wondering. She has lost everything and has bucket list, but what she wasn’t expecting was her vehicle to breakdown in about the smallest town ever in Mississippi.
Drew Moyer is a homegrown small town boy. He seems together, but has had his own tragic experience that he has battled to come back from. He seems to be further along than Meg in her healing process, but his tragedy did happen a lot longer ago.
Can Drew help Meh heal? Can they help each other? Will Meg stop her journey after all that she has found in Green Springs?
This novel was steamy to the max! I enjoyed the characters banter and the chemistry was truly off the charts. I cannot wait for more from this author and this series!

Forgotten Truth is the first novel in the Forgotten Trilogy by Virginia Wine. It is a sexy story that follows Bryer and her trainer Nathan.
Bryer works for a design and apparel company. She has started her life over from scratch after being burned by her ex. She has trust issues, but a huge crush on her sexy, mysterious trainer. like a moth to flame, she cannot avoid what she feels for him.
Nathan co-owns a gym where he is also a trainer. He doesn’t frequently cross the boundary of trainer and client, but when the lines blur sometimes there is no going back, especially when true feelings come into the mix.
I really enjoyed Bryer and Nathan’s dynamic throughout this story. They don’t each other well and while their relationship moves quickly, they begin to see that there are some issues that each of them need to work through. Some on their own, some together. I cannot wait for the next story in this trilogy!!

Holding Out For You by Anna Paige is the first novel I’ve had the privilege of reading by Anna Paige and I was blown away! Parts of this story was truly tragic, but also about real soul searching among a close group of friends.
Blair Martell is a freshman in college with her best friend Charli. She is very close to her brother Becker who is a few years older than her. She has always had a crush on Becker’s best friend Ashton. What happens when Ashton gives her a glimpse that maybe those feelings aren’t one sided?
Ashton Hunter has graduated from college and is looking for a job. He has decided that staying close to home is what is best for him, for a number of reasons. One night on the beach, a few beers down and a horrible situation is everything he needs to put himself out there.
I absolutely adored this book. There was a lot to it, some that might be a trigger for some readers. But I thought it the story was very well written. I loved the characters, the banter, and the town they live in. What a great story! Thank you, Anna Paige!

Such a neat story! The story follows Jake and his friend as he journeys his way to his first time at Doggy Daycare. There are some wonderful lessons in the story and the illustrations are amazing! The story is written well and flows easily. Definitely a story I would read again and again to my own kids!

K.L. Montgomery’s Romance in Rehoboth boxed set 1 is so cute!!
Book 1 – Music Man I really enjoyed Music Man, the first book in the Romance in Rehoboth series! One of the more unique things I enjoyed was the timing of the beginning of the story. Instead of it starting before the two characters meet each other, you enter when they are still fairly new, but been together for about six months. I was a little skeptical at first, but it really allowed the author to take the story a step farther.
Jack Reilly is a high school band teacher. He has a young daughter he doesn’t get too see much and is currently exploring large with your heroine, Claire Sterling. When she dates him to entera small singing competion aft the restaurant they were dining at, who knew their lives would change forever.
Claire is a writer, working on a self help book and had a column in The New York Times. She had a teenage son and some crazy neighbors.
I quickly adored the chatacters in this story. Some were quirky, some you didn’t like at first, and some you didn’t like at all. The wonderful writing helped with that! Great job with this story! It had all the feels and I couldn’t put it down!
Book 2 – The Flip I loved the second installment of the Romance of Rehoboth series! We met Drew, or Andrew, in the first story as a member of Jack’s buddy and bandmate. This book was fun and witty. The banter between Andrew and Sonnet was something else! I found myself laughing out loud a lot!
Sonnet Jayne is a Rocket Scientist, literally. She is a great example of what women interested in the sciences can be! I loved that the author made her an awesome role model like character. She has changed a lot since her high school days when she new Andrew.
Andrew Clark hasn’t done much with his life since high school. He bartends in town and plays in a band. Sounds pretty cliche, right? But as Sonnet finds out, there is much more to Andrew. But has he changed since high school?
Andrew and Sonnet inherit a house from Andrew’s Aunt Penny in Bethany Beach. They both have lots of memories with Aunt Penny and at that house. Can a sunmer together flipping her house bring them together?
I truly enjoyed this book and cannot wait for the next one!
