What a unique and interesting story. It was not at all what I expected when I started reading it but I found myself easily invested in what was happening. I thought the story was riveting – it was full of suspense and intrigue, the paranormal element just adding to that. The characters really fit with this style of story, adding to it in the best way possible.
This is the first book that I have read by this author and I was really taken with the writing style. It didn’t matter that this book were the second in the series the author still managed to get my attention. I will definitely be reading the first book and any more than come.

This is quite a slow build story in the start, creating a bit of tension as you read. Then, around half way through, the book picks up pace and it exciting and action packed. It is suspenseful and fast paced and I found myself really getting drawn into what was happening. I enjoyed getting to know the characters. I found them to be engaging and dynamic. This is the first book that I have read by this author and I really enjoyed it. I will be checking out more of her work soon.

This is such a fun children’s story that is full of excitement right from the start. The characters are entertaining and really fit the storyline. My daughter is still too young to read this in her own but we both enjoyed reading it together. I can definitely say it kept us both entertained and will be a book that we revisit.

This is such a steamy paranormal story that was a true delight to read. I was hooked from the moment I started reading. The dynamic between these three characters was amazing. I was completely bought into them and their story. I thought the author handled the complex relationship so well and, although it is not something I ever imagine experiencing, I still found it so easy to relate to them. This is an exciting and sexy story that I loved from beginning to end.

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I don’t always enjoy anthologies as I find myself losing interest quite quickly but this is one that I am glad I tried. Witch Switch was such a great story. I found it so easy to connect with and thought there were some great characters involved. This is an author I am slightly familiar with and I enjoyed being able to see more of her work. The book fit well with the theme of the anthology but I felt it also stood out of its own. This is a thoroughly enjoyable book.

This book intrigued me from the moment I read the description and I just knew I had to see what it was about. As soon as I started reading the story I was instantly hooked.
The story itself was interesting and imaginative. The Greek gods are a Well known trope and I thought the author tackled them in a different way. But for me this story was all about the characters. They were unique and really well thought out. There was depth to them and they each added to the story in their own way.
This was a great book and I think a strong start to a new series.

This is a fantastic combination of Historical and paranormal which is something I haven’t personally read in this genre before. I thought the two Genres matched together worked really well and the author did a great job of getting both across.
The fiest book in a new series I find tends to usually be mainly for setting the scene for what’s to come but I found this book to really have a depth about it. The story was well developed and the characters were complex and unique. This is a well written and exciting story and I am looking forward to the rest in the series.

This was such a sweet and heartwarming historical romance novel. I found myself really swept up by the story and the characters. The author has done a fantastic job at recreating life in 1870. Even though it is world’s away from life now I could easily imagine the way it was and the journey the characters go on.
The characters for me are the part of this book though. They really come to life over the pages and the connections they develop are so relatable. This is a brilliant book that js thoroughly enjoyable.

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

What an overall interesting book this is. It is a great, unique way to look at an oversaturated genre. The scientific outlook gave it all a different perspective.
I did find the book to have quite a slow start. The author really sets the scene and builds everything up but it meant that it made for a slower read. It did pick up about half way through which is when I felt the story really got going.
I enjoyed the characters, especially the MC. She was so easy to connect with and get behind. This is a great story and I am looking forward to the rest of the series.

This is such an emotional and well written story. Set in the 1940’s it really feels like you are taken to this era. The author paints such a vivid description of everything it is so easy to picture it all.
It was so easy to form a connection with the character too. Her journey is such a hard one and the whole way through I was hoping she would find her way. For me this is a great example of a fictional story set without this time.
