This series just goes from strength to strength. Each book seems to be as good, if not better, than the last. I reconnect so easily with the characters each time. The author seems to have created a lasting and interesting series that sach book just adds to. I look forward to starting a new one and cannot wait to see how they are going to turn out. I would highly recommend the series to any YA fan.

This is an amazing follow up book to this series. I went straight into this after reading book one and it took no effort at all to fall right back into the characters. The author has managed to push the series forward while still keeling it fresh and exciting. I love the team.of characters right at the core of this series..they are interesting and all add something different to the story. This is another fantastic book and I am already looking forward to the third.

This is not the first book that I have read by this author but I do think it has to be my favourite so far. I was pulled into the story of Cate and Patti so easily, their lives so intricate and binding. The mystery that surrounded them really piqued my interest and I just had to find out what was going on.
The author really takes you on a journey with the characters so it feels like you immersed in their lives. I absolutely loved this book and could not recommend it any more.

What an amazing book! Before I started reading I wasn’t sure how I was going to feel about this book. I was honestly blown away. This was such a fantastic book – great characters, a great story line and just so well written I didn’t want to stop reading.
I thought the story was original and exciting. At times it felt like the pages were turning themselves. I was so engrossed by this book I really didn’t want it to end. As the First book that I have read by this author it was the best type of introduction. I cannot wait to read more.

This is a great story about a marriage of convenience and two people who have to explore their feelings. It is a pretty quick read is this book, easy to get into and an enjoyable story. I thought the main characters had a great connection between them. Even thought they had an unusual start to their relationship the connection between them grew.
For any fan of this genre I would recommend this story as it is thoroughly enjoyable from start to finish.

It has been far too long since I have read a story with a strong a female lead as there is in this book. For me she really does takeover the whole story and stands out. There seems go be a lot that goes on in this story, sometimes to the point where it would almost feel like too much, but then the author would pull it all back in again. I thought it was well written and that the author knew exactly what feel they were going for. This is a great book that I would recommend.

Although I am very familiar with this author this is first time I have read a book of this genre that she has written. It didn’t stop me from picking it up without looking any further into it. Although the Genre is different this book features all the writing style that I have come to expect from this author. I was hooked in the story so easily and had to read it all in one sitting. I loved the characters and the story. There was a synergy between the two that worked so well. I was swept up in the story and had to see how it was going to end.
I am looking forward to rest of this series and yo whatever else this author can come up with next.

What a fantastic addition to an already amazing series. If you haven’t read the first two books yet I would recommend doing so immediately. With each new book that comes out I have found the series is going from strength to strength. I am always instantly hooked on the writing and genuinely can’t wait to see what is going to happen. The book is imaginative and so well written. I have come to learn not to start reading one of these books unless I have time to finish it because I just don’t want to put it down. This is a fast paced story that really hits the ground running. It throws you straight into the storyline and the lives of the characters. I thought the characters worked well together. It was a little hard to believe how quick the relationship seemed to progress sometimes but they had a strong connection that fit with the story.

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Following on from the first book in the series we pick back up the story of Arabella. When I started reading this book I wasn’t sure which direction it would go in, given how unexpected I found the first book to be. I thought this book was a great follow on. I still struggled to connect with the main character, and I did feel like I enjoyed the first book a bit more, but I found myself connecting with the storyline just like with the first. I think part of what intrigues me with this series is that fact that I can’t decide what genre it would fall under. There is a little mix of everything thrown in there. This as a good book and I will be reading the next one.

I initially started reading this book as I was intrigued by the plot of magic mixed with science. It felt a little different to a lot of books within this genre that I have read lately. The Book wasn’t at all what I expected. It had a much darker feel than I thought I would so, although that just added to the intrigue of the book. Surprisingly I didn’t really click with the main character however there were enough other things going on in the book that instill found it enjoyable. I thought this was a good start to a new series and it left me wondering what was to come in Book 2.

For me this was an unexpectedly enjoyable read. I hadn’t really been tol taken in by the description but, having read previous books by this author, decided to give it a go and I’m glad I did. I found the story to be well thought out and interested. The characters were diverse and intriguing to read about. They all had their own part within the story.
I enjoyed the fact that even thought it is a dystopian novel the prevalent theme felt to me like family. It gave the book a different feel from others I have read of this genre. Overall I thought the book was enjoyable from start to finish and well worth the time.

I honestly didn’t know what to expect going into this book. It is a new author to me and with such a vague description it almost felt like going in blind. For me this book was all about the characters. They are what initially oulled me into the story and they are also what kept my interest the most. The author makes it so easy to believe the characters and their story. I found myself completely absorbed by them.
