Limbo by Laura Koerber – Review by Kerry Baker

LimboLimbo by Laura Koerber
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This is definitely quite an odd book to read as there is no set storyline to it. The author just seems to meander through the book with the help of a few characters. And yet it works. You don’t really miss not having that typical structure. You find yourself caught up in the story anyway and wandering along with it. I enjoy the range of different characters in the book and how they all felt unique. This is a strangely enjoyable read that I would recommend.

What a story this is. This book is so rich in detail and emotionally engaging. All three characters came across so strong. I expected to connect with one more than the other but that really wasn’t the case. The story is so well written. The author really opens your eyes to things you wouldn’t necessarily experience but does do in a way that you don’t feel excluded. I think a lot of this comes from the fact the author can speak from experience. This is a brilliant story that I would highly recommend.

What a fantastic addition to the series this book is. This book is all about the characters. Right from the word go they have such a strong connection. Their chemistry is obvious in every page and they really take over the when book.
What I also really enjoyed about this book is that is had a depth about it that that don’t often find with rock star romances. It made it much easier to engage with the story as it developed.

This is a great start to a new series. The story is an interesting and well written story that holds your attention from the start. However, for me, it is the characters that really make the story. They have auch a strong connection right from the start and i found they were the ones that caught my attention.
This is a new author to me but I enjoyed the pace of the book. She knew when to push the story forward but also when to hold it back for the sake of progression.
This is an enjoyable story that I would definitely recommend.

What an intriguing story. I thought this book was a sweet, touching story that really will help children, and adults, to think about greatness and how to find it. It was an easy book to read but also quite thought provoking – a great way to get children thinking in more detail about the little things in life.
This wouldn’t be my usually type of read but I definitely enjoyed it. And although my kids are both too young for it I will definitely be keeping it in mind for when they are older. This is a lovely and well written story.
