I enjoyed the fact that one of the main focuses in this book is the relationship between friends. Even with other things going on that was always right at the heart of the book. The book was well thought out with some strong themes running through.
This is a newer author to me and I enjoyed thr way the story was crafted. Although I thought it was quite an easy read I also found that it had depth and emotion throughout. This is a great start to a new trilogy and I will definitely be reading book 2.
