This book is such a heartwarming and emotional story in a way I completely didn’t expect. I thought it would be a great story about a kid navigating his worries while balancing school. And while it was that it was also so much more. I thought the author has portrayed the thoughts and concerns of this age range perfectly while also making it enjoyable for readers of other ages. I was very pleasantly surprised by this book and would highly recommend.

This is a fun romance story that I found to be entertaining from start to finish. This is quite an easy book to read. I connected with the straight away and enjoyed getting to know Sophie. For me she was the most relatable character in the book but the author has done a great job of reading some interesting secondary characters. This is a new author for me and I definitely enjoyed her writing style. It had everything I hope for in a romance story and I can’t wait to discover more of her work.

It has been far too long since I have read a story with a strong a female lead as there is in this book. For me she really does takeover the whole story and stands out. There seems go be a lot that goes on in this story, sometimes to the point where it would almost feel like too much, but then the author would pull it all back in again. I thought it was well written and that the author knew exactly what feel they were going for. This is a great book that I would recommend.

Although the Genre is different this book features all the writing style that I have come to expect from this author. I was hooked in the story so easily and had to read it all in one sitting. I loved the characters and the story. There was a synergy between the two that worked so well. I was swept up in the story and had to see how it was going to end.

Following on from the first book in the series we pick back up the story of Arabella. When I started reading this book I wasn’t sure which direction it would go in, given how unexpected I found the first book to be. I thought this book was a great follow on. I still struggled to connect with the main character, and I did feel like I enjoyed the first book a bit more, but I found myself connecting with the storyline just like with the first. I think part of what intrigues me with this series is that fact that I can’t decide what genre it would fall under. There is a little mix of everything thrown in there. This as a good book and I will be reading the next one.

I initially started reading this book as I was intrigued by the plot of magic mixed with science. It felt a little different to a lot of books within this genre that I have read lately. The Book wasn’t at all what I expected. It had a much darker feel than I thought I would so, although that just added to the intrigue of the book. Surprisingly I didn’t really click with the main character however there were enough other things going on in the book that instill found it enjoyable. I thought this was a good start to a new series and it left me wondering what was to come in Book 2.
