This is the second book in the Love in Emerald Creek Series. The author has always wrote stories that are emotional and have a very unique talent which allows the reader to connect with the characters. This is a story of second chance romance. Of two people who are perfect for each other but both come into it with baggage and issues which means their romance isn’t straight forward and easy but then what relationship in life is? I loved how Burke’s relationship progressed with Shayna’s children as well as with Shayna. You could feel him wanting to be a part of their lives as much as their mum’s which was nice to read.
Shayna is a single mum. After escaping an abusive ex she is moving forward and focusing on herself and the kids. The last thing she is looking for is love. But sometimes it comes when we least expect it.
Burke is best friend to Shayna’s best friend. When Burke meet Shayna they have chemistry and he is attracted to her because unlike other women she doesn’t seem interested in what he can give her. As much as he wants to be with her he knows he has to take things slowly for all of their sakes.
As things progress their connection grows but trouble is ok the horizon in the form of the past coming back. Can Burke and Shayna overcome the obstacles and finally get their happy ever after.

This is the 3rd book in the Raurnon Trilogy. As this is part of a trilogy I do highly recommend reading them in order and from the beginning. This was was an amazing series fill of magical fantasy adventures, with a underlying story of good Vs evil. This is the final battle as Raurnon and his friends try to bring truth to the people who were lied to. It is another race against time to save the world from the mad man who wants to get rid of them all.
This story is is full of magic, murder, mystery as well as secrets and truths coming to light. The characters are really diverse and unique which is refreshing, however they need to join together and learn how to work together if they have any hope of defeating the evil against them.
This series was a real page turner which I loved and couldn’t put down. You won’t regret picking up this series if you want a story you can lose yourself in. Prepare to be transported to a magical world where good Vs evil and you are kept guessing who will win

This is the first book in the Daughter’s of Dishonor series. This is a historical romance but also so much more than that, there is mystery angst, danger, chemistry. The author did an amazing job of transporting the reader back in time to that period.
Margot Keating is a vicars daughter, she travels from Berwick with a secret that she needs to protect at all costs. She tries not to draw attention to herself but fails miserably when she finds herself involved in a murder mystery and a case of missing diamonds. And she also catches the attention of a certain Rake.
Lord Silvester Beresford is well know for his handsome looks and charm but one thing he has not intention of doing is falling in love. That is until Margot Keating crosses his path.
Can these 2 opposite people work together to solve the murder mystery and the case of the missing diamonds? And could Margot be the women who can change Silvester’s way of looking at women. Could she be the one he will settle down and change his ways for?
I do enjoy historical romances and with the added twist it a murder mystery really made this a book I couldn’t put down.

This is the second book in the Finnerty and Liccione Mystery series. While the books can be read as a stand alone I do recommend reading them in order to get a better grip of the characters and their pasts. This is a medical murder mystery with twists and turns that keep you guessing with every turn of the page. I never knew what was coming and I was surprised as the story unravelled. The author does a great job of handling subjects such as PTSD and addiction in the story in a way that is informative and respectful. Allowing the reader an insight into what that is really like for the people suffering. When a young veteran is found dead in his car in the garage of the VA Behavioral Health clinic the question becoming was it murder or suicide? When Dr. Marnie Liccione and Dr. Louise Finnerty join forces again to get to the truth they start to uncover things which could have dangerous consequences for them both. With a dangerous drug doing the rounds and drug ring operating could this be the cause of the deaths/suicides of so many veterans? And can they get to the bottom of this before another life is lost? With danger, threats, and race against time this is a fast paced story that I couldn’t stop reading

This is the 3rd book in the Bold Journeys series. I have loved all the books in the series so far and this one was just as good. Even though it is part of a series it can be read as a standalone and fully enjoyed. This author does an amazing job of researching her characters and story before actually creating the book this makes her story and characters realistic, authentic and explores the struggles that people face in their lives no matter their age, gender or race. As a reader it gives you a deep insight and a better understanding of other people’s lives. This story contains lots of emotion, drama, betrayal and angst as well as a romance which in some people’s eyes should exist. But you can’t help who you fall for. In this story we follow Barbara. She is a strong black woman who has always fought hard for her position in life. As a successful lawyer she believes the promotion in the company is hers. Her life seems perfect until she catches her partner cheating on her. Fast forward and she finds herself at the her wedding but it’s not her getting married. She gifted the wedding to her best friend. As Barbara deals with all the emotions around this situation she meets Sebastian the connection between them is instant and they can’t deny the chemistry so they plan to reconnect when they return home. Could Sebastian be the man for Barbara all along?
Sebastian’s life hasn’t been easy either. Growing up in a rough part of town he has had his fair share of trouble and struggles, however as a successful lawyer his life seems to be changed for the better and when he meets Barbara he can’t believe his luck When he returns he has a promotion to look forward to and a re connecting with Barbara however things don’t go to plan.
When the promotion that Barbara was certain was hers was given to someone else, it was a punch in the gut but what makes it worse is the person who it was given to was Sebastian and shortly after Barbara is fired.
Can the couple work through this? Will Barbara see it as a betrayal if Sebastian takes the promotion? Why was Sebastian given the promotion over all the work Barbara has done, could it be due to the colour of her skin? As Barbara tries to fight for social justice against a world and a system that is trying to keep her down will Sebastian stand and fight beside her?
This is a real eye opening story about how there are still times when the colour of someone’s skin has an effect on their life and the way people view them. It shows the struggle people go through just to be seen as equals. It is a beautiful written and thought provoking read.
This was a really enjoyable YA paranormal romance. It is a story full of magic, myths, danger, romance, ancient goddesses and secrets all set in the boundaries of an academy. I loved Corisande, she is a character who I really felt for because she sees herself as a monster and finds it hard to believe that anyone can see her as anything more than that. Corisande is a Siren. She has been cursed with this which means she always has to fight the urge to sing because her song can lure men to their death. And that’s what happened. One fateful day she thought it was safe to sing her song but it wasn’t safe and all and it brought Noah almost to his death. After Corisande saves Noah she can’t help but feel drawn to him but she doesn’t understand the reason why. As she gets to know him questions arise that needs to be answered such as should she tell him the truth about what she is? Could there be a connection between his uncle who survived a shipwreck and a past student who saved a human then ended up losing their life? What happens when a life that is supposed to be sacrificed survives? Does there need to be another person taken in their place?
This story is fast paced and very unique. It is part of a series but you can read this story as a standalone. I really enjoyed it and I can’t wait to read more.

This is the second book in the Silver Buckle Brides series. This is a beautifully written, heartwarming second chance romance that really pulls on your heart strings. This author does an incredible job of writing moving stories with characters that you cant help but fall in love with. In this story we are with Jamie and Laramee . Both of our characters have flaws and pasts they aren’t proud of. Laramee returns back to her family’s ranch after time away. She has avoided returning home after she left escaping a tragedy that hit her family. Now she has to return to take over her families ranch as they get older and their health gets worse. Jamie is a real estate partner who has been sent out to value her parents ranch. When they meet Laramee is frosty towards him to say the least. However the more time they spend together the more Laramee starts warming up to him. Could this be the start of a romance? Well not without some drama first. And that drama comes in the shape of Laramee’s ex Sutton. Sutton returns wanting Laramee back and Jamie out of the picture and after finding out the secrets of Jamie’s past he plans to use that against him. Now Jamie has a decision to make. Should he tell Laramee about his past and confess his feelings for her? Is he really the better man for Laramee or will his past stop him from having a future with her?

This was a great contemporary romance. This is a enemies to lovers romance with a fake relationship element. The author does a great job of making the character likeable and the story was unique in the way that both parties were hiding double life’s.
After completing her tour Kaia decided she wants to take a break and get her teaching degree. Removing all the glitz and glamour she transforms into Abigail a quiet girl looking to complete her course. Things should have been simple until she meets the vice principle Everett. Everett knows about Abigail’s alter ego but he has a double life of his own that he is trying to keep secret. When Kaia comes to him asking for his help Everett is reluctant to get involved. But what happens when faking a relationship and feelings crosses the line and those feelings could possible be something real. Can they be together once their double lives are revealed? And where is the line between pretend and real and what happens when they both cross that line? I really enjoyed this story. I was able to lose myself in the characters stories and was gripped seeing how their story would unfold.

This is the second book in the South Shore Mystery Series. It is the first book that I have read however I will be going back to read the first book as I have enjoyed this so much. This is a really interesting cosy historical mystery. The author has done an incredible job with the research which really brings this story to life and transports the reader to the time period. This story is full of secrets and twists and turns that will keep you guessing who is the actually murderer.
When Colin finds his boss dead one morning there is loads of evidence pointing to his guilt. He was about to be fired, there were disagreements heard by his colleagues. With the evidence pointing to his guilt he is arrested.n Now it’s a race against time for Daniel, the villages assistant coroner and Colin’s sister Kathleen to work together to prove his innocence. Who is responsible for the death of Colin’s boss? Did Colin do it in a drunken rage? And if it wasn’t him then who was it and what secrets will be uncovered when the killer is revealed. I really enjoyed this story and I can’t wait to read more in the future.

This is book 2 in the Hot Flash Hookups Series. I loved the first book and this one was just as good. This is a sports romcom with a enemies to lovers theme. What I love about these books is the authors writing of the characters. The banter between them had me laughing out loud on more than one occasion. I also love how the female lead are of an older age and going through menopause and all the joys that women go through around that time. It really makes the characters feel human and relatable.
This is Banks and Kaitlyn’s story. When a chance meeting and a delay at an airport put Kaitlyn and Banks together there was no denying the chemistry and attraction between them. But with them going their seperate ways thats the end of their connection right? This is a collection of 4 books that make up the R series. Each book is unique and different but all of them are captivating and are stories I just couldn’t put down. They are all contemporary romances books and each book focuses on a different couple so they can be ready as standalone reads.
Fool’s Gold is the first book in the series and it focuses on Rafe and Sarah. This is a second chance romance with elements of drama, angst, questions to be answered and a chemistry between the two characters that can’t be denied After Sarah finds a letter claiming that Rafe was only marrying her for her family connection she flees on their wedding night leaving Rafe wondering what happened. Now she has returned wanting to make things right by repairing his reputation but what that a mistake. Was the content of the letter Sarah found actually true or was it someone trying to pull them apart? The more time they spend together the more their attraction and chemistry sizzles but is it too late for second chances?
Her Hearts Desire is the second book in this series is an enemies to lovers story revolving around Samantha and Jake. This story has drama, tension and danger. When Jake sees Samantha she is fleeing her own wedding. Now they must work together to solve a crime and stop her ex fiancée but every time they meet it is explosive. And will the feelings Mark is feeling towards Serena and her child can he trust enough to allow them in?
It Had To Be You is the fourth book and is a small town enemies to lovers romance. Again it is full of sparks and chemistry as well as the couple being from opposite sides of the tracks. It’s a romance with enough drama to keep you gripped and turning the pages.
I couldn’t pick a favourite out of this series as I loved them all. They all had something unique and enough drama and angst that I couldn’t stop reading.
This is the second book in the Magical Emerald Hollow series. This is a sweet romance which has a very magical element as well as some intrigue and some mystery. I would advise reading these books in order as we meet Holly and Ash in the first book and they continue to play a role in this books as well. This book mainly focuses around Sofia. When Sofia finds a man unconscious on a trail in the snow she obviously helps him get medical attention but when it turns out the man has no memory of who he is, where he comes from and why he was even on that trail she starts to question whether he is being genuine or not. Sofia has been burnt by love before and is very skeptical and wary about trusting again but no matter how much she tries she can deny her attraction to this man. Who is he? Why did he appear? When fate plays it’s hand is there any way to deny it?
Meanwhile Holly is settling in to Emerald Hollows but as she learns to live among new people she also discovers a magical secret that affects all the residents of Emerald Hollows.
This is a quick paced paranormal romance. The characters are so well written that you cant help but be invested in their story. I can’t wait to see what else Emerald Hollows has in store for us.
This is the first book in the Elemental Passions series. And I have to say I loved it. What I found very unique is the fact that so many authors have written parts of the story and have had input into it but it reads and flows really well. All the different inputs have created a really unique and captivating book that is full of action, adventure, Fae, danger and fated mates. This is a steamy paranormal romance. I love the main characters of Aeris and Callum. Even though they are from different worlds they work so well together.
Aeris is a Fae. All her life she has been told to stay away from humans, that humans can’t know about Fae and their world. So she has visited humans under the cover of Glamour. She loves seeing their world even if they can’t see her. However that all changes when she bumps into Callum and she realises he can see her when no one else can. Detective Callum has seen loads of strange things in his line of work but when a beautiful woman stumbled into his life with a story about Fae’s and other paranormal beings that exist in fairy tales, can he even believe her?
What follows is a story of two people who are fated mates and they struggles being from opposite sides. Could their attraction towards each other even become more? How is it possible that Callum can see her when other humans can’t? And what danger has Aeris put the rest of her community in by revealing what she is and the existence of Fae?

This is the 4th book in the Full Throttle Cyborg series. This is a sci-fi romance with a enemies to lovers story. It is also full of action, adventure, fast cars, lies, gangs, betrayal and revenge. I was immediately captivated by this authors world building skills. It was so easy to picture and imagine yourself in the places the author was describing.
Dakota ‘Drag’ Michelson has only truelly loved one woman in his life but when Bridget betrayed him and framed him for murder the only thing he felt for her was hate. Or so he thought. With a big championship race looming the last thing he needs is a distraction and Bridget is one big distraction.
Bridget has always gone after what she wants in life no matter what she has to do or who she hurts in the process. Now she wants to be free of the gang she finds herself and the only person that can help her is Drag. After she tried to sabatage the race and her spy was uncovered she knows the only thing left to do is join forces with Drag. But Drag won’t be fooled twice. He doesn’t trust Bridget at all. After she did last time how could he possible trust her. But as old feelings start to resurface is the need for revenge going to be the only driving force? This was a fast paced story full of twists and turns. I loved the duel prospective which really brings the characters to life and makes them feel more real.

This is the first book in the Rhapsody In Series and I found it really enjoyable. It is a cosy mystery with a touch of romance. There are twists and turns and I will admit I didn’t see the end coming which was a pleasant thing for me to experience. Set in the world of Ballet school and productions it was a unique story. Elena del Carral has returned to her old school to perform in a gala. However this wont be a happy return for her. When secrets are revealed she is left with a target on her back. When incidents take place of vandalism and attacks happen on other dancers all evidence points to Elena. Is she jealous of the younger dancers successes? Is she behind all the vandalism and attacks? And if it’s not her then which other member of the school could it be? This story is a fast paced read that I couldn’t put down until I got to the end and found out who was the person behind everything and to say I was shocked and surprised is an understatement. I really did not see it coming. This was a great read and I look forward to reading more

This was a very heartwarming and at times heartbreaking western contemporary romance. The author does an incredible job with the characters and I love how it is told from both main characters points of view. The authors use of descriptions really brought the characters, their situation and feelings to life. My heart was captivated by Jake and Lexie and I was gripped by their story right from the start. I wasnt able to stop reading. Jake has had his heartbroken. Not only did he lose his wife but he also found out she was having affair. Since she passed Jake has taken on raising the baby but he is left with nagging doubts. Is the child actually his or the other man’s? Not wanting to risk getting hurt again he keeps everyone at arms length including the little girl.
Lexie has had a bad time with romance too after she was left at the alter. Now she’s determined to move on and refocus on herself. The last thing she wants is romance but when fate plays it’s hand and she lands in the lap of a handsome man and his adorable daughter will she be strong enough to resist?
Neither Jake nor Lexie want romance but they can’t deny the instant attraction and connection and as Jake feels his heart slowly starting to mend because of Lexie will they both be brave enough to take the leap of faith, not only for themselves but for a little girl that wants to be loved?

This was a enjoyable read. I have read books by this author before so I knew I was going to enjoy it. This author has an amazing way of captivating a reader with the story and you can’t help feeling invested in the characters story and journey.
In this story we meet Chloe..she is a determined young woman who wants to make a success of her life. Find love and romance is also on that list but it has to be the right person. When we first meet Chloe she is dating her long term boyfriend, but distance is making things hard and when he proposes and tells her life he has planned for them( which don’t include her dreams or passion) she knows she has to end it. Now she’s alone and putting herself into the world of dating. And we are along for the ride as she meets more suitors but which one will she end up with? Will any of them be her perfect match?
I really loved Chloe’s character and how she was determined to not just settle but to keep searching for what she wants out of life. It is a thought provoking read which at times made me laugh out loud.
This was an enjoyable YA contemporary romance. This is a story that has drama, angst, jealousy and a chance of romance. Valeria has it all from the outside. She is a successful actress on a soap opera and was dating the hottest heartthrob around. But when said heartthrob dumps her for her best friend it leaves her feeling alone and betrayed. Not liking the spotlight her fame brings she shys away from it. But when another actress from the show sets her up on a date with a up and coming star Valerie finds herself more in the spotlight that she wants to be. Will the extra attention prove too much for Valeria or will it uncover something she didn’t know? Add to this mix her old boyfriend Davis. Davis is her first love and after years he has returned into her life. Is the feelings they once had for each other still there? Will insecurities that they both harbour stop them from progressing before it starts? Has Valeria changed to much from the small town girl Davis fell in love with or will this be their chance to get it right this time? This was a well written story with a cast of characters, some I liked and some I didn’t. The author describes all the complex feelings and emotions that Valerie goes through which really allows the reader to understand her. I look forward to reading more.

This is a historical romance with a twist a very steamy twist which I really enjoyed. The author does an incredible job of transporting the reader back to that time period with old fashioned values with a modern twist. In this story you will find romance, a reverse age gap, sizzling chemistry and a little BDSM elements. Charlotte never expected to find herself a widow at the age of 30 but that is the position she finds herself in. When she re enters the social scene she catches the eye of a young guy called William. William is heir to the Earl of Harrington. He should be looking for an young woman with whom he can produce and heir however he wants Charlotte but he has his work cut out to prove to her that nothing and no one should stand in the way of them being together. This was a really captivating story. I love their interactions between each other and how determined William is to make Charlotte realise she’s the one for him. Their happy ever after maybe not being easy or conventional but are they determined enough to get it?

This is the first book in the Match Made ain Montana series. This was a new author for me and I really enjoyed this story. This is a clean romance with a enemies to lovers feel, throw in some western style and it was a unique story.
Meg and Ryan have never seen eye to eye. Even has kids they didn’t get on. But was there more going on behind the scenes that neither of them realise. Was their dislike for each other hiding other feelings neither wanted to admit?
Meg has an antique store in town and things are a bit slow but she is determined not to give up. When her elderly neighbour asks for her help in clearing out his old barn she agrees to help until she runs into the neighbours grandson Ryan. As soon as Ryan sees Meg he wants her off the property and away from him. He has enough to deal with setting up his new business on the ranch without her as a distraction and Meg is definitely a distraction. Can they be civil long enough for Meg to help Hank? And what happens when they start to realise that their feelings of hate and dislike may not be that at all. Will this be the time they learn to understand each other and find their happy ever after or will this push them apart for the very last time?
This was a really enjoyable romance with plenty of chemistry, drama with an ex and a undeniable connection between our main characters. I was hooked from the beginning. We meet Liam and Emma. Emma has had problems in the past with men so the way she overcomes that is only having one night stands. Never wanting or expecting more. Until she meets Liam. Liam is the same not wanting more from a woman but there is something about Emma that keeps him coming back. As they navigate through the change from one night stands to friends with benefits could there be a possibility for this to become something more meaningful? And when Liam gives Emma an offer she can’t refuse will this bring them closer or push them apart? Add to this drama caused by Emma’s ex and this is a story that will keep you turning pages. Can friends with benefits progress to something more? Or are they both destined to end up heartbroken all over again?

This was a really informative book to read. Even though I have lived in England all my life there was even things in this book that I wasn’t aware of. The author does an incredible job of researching everything to do with England and I loved all the historical facts and myths. The author does a great job of showing people hidden gems and not just the normal tourist attractions. For someone who is planning a visit to England this would be an amazing book to have if you want to visit and soak up some of the amazing places and heritage.
It was a interesting and informative read with an author who has taken the time to really research and produce something that is a good read for people visiting and also people who have lived here all their life

The True Purpose Of Vines I really enjoyed this historical romance. The author does an amazing job with the writing to actually transport you to Portugal. You feel like you are there seeing the sights and smelling and tasting the wonders it offers.
I love our leading lady Julia. She is a very strong lady who has had to overcome a lot to keep hold of her port wine business in a world that only sees men as capable for the job. Julia’s determination and passion comes through in this story as she fights to prove she is just as good as any man and save her sons legacy.
Griffin has been sent to visit Julia to see about money that was lent to expand the business. He goes there with one purpose and the thought of finding someone who would steal his heart isn’t that purpose. However the heart wants what it wants and Griddin and Julia’s story proves to be just as passionate as Julia is about her wine. However things are plain sailing and when secrets come to light and decisions made is the couple’s love going to be strong enough for them to survive or will it tear them apart.
The Taste of light This is a beautifully written romance sent in Portugal in 1872. It is the second book in The Winemakers series but it can be read as a standalone and still really enjoyed.I can’t express how beautiful the author’s language and story telling in. There is so much emotion put into every page that the reader cant help but feel every emotion along with the characters which makes the story completely captivating. It is a historical romance and the author does an amazing job of transporting the reader back to those times. Our main characters Pedro and Anne seem such an unlikely match at first but as the story progresses we see the same strength and determination in them back.
This story is action packed as Pedro’s past comes back to haunt him and he struggles to make amends for it all. When his marriage to a princess falls through and he is accused of an attempt on the Kings life he is forces to go on the run. Anne is a young sweet innocent girl who just happens to be in the wrong place at the wrong time and finds herself on an adventure with Pedro that she never expected or imagined. She may seem young but inside she had a fire and a determination which makes her a fascinating character to read about. Add to this the fact that she is the sister of something Pedro has had problems with in his past, could their meeting be a coincidence? A way to maybe make amends? Or just another mistake that Pedro could pay for dearly.
The Truth About Myths This is the 3rd book in The Winemakers Series. Even though it is part of a series it can be read as a standalone, however I feel once you read one you will want to read them all. This is a historical romance, enemies to lovers story. I love the chemistry between our main characters as they seem to play a cat and mouse game with each other. I also love the fire in Isabel, she is a princess but a princess who isn’t afraid to speak her mind which is refreshing for the time period the story is set in. This story has so many beautiful elements from the characters themselves to the authors amazing writing which transports the reader back in time and describes the places so vividly it feels like you are there. If you like historical romances full of twists and turns, a little danger, a sense of doing your duty and what is expected of you along with secrets and hidden agendas to uncover this book has something for everyone.

This is the first book in the Spicetopia series. I have loved this series. The author does any incredible job of mixing a steamy read with characters that are relatable and really bring the stories to life. This is the first time we meet the Sweet family and their amazing park. This story is about Cy and Jolie. There is unease at the park, rumours are going around of the staff planning a strike. With that happening the owners decide to send someone undercover to find out who is behind it all. The person is CY. Dressed as a temp employee and with the additional bonus of a cash reward for finding the person CY takes on the task. He thinks it will be easy and straight forward until he meets Jolie. Jolie plays the Red Velvet Queen, when she meets “Marcus” she keeps him at arms length. Jolie had secrets that she must keep hidden and working two jobs to take care of her responsibilities but as the spark between them grows she can’t keep pushing him away. Both do them are holding secrets and what will the consequences of those secrets be when they are revealed. Will it tear them apart? And when Cy sees just how the staff are treated by his parents, will Cy carry on the plan his mother and father have sent him to do or will he decide to support the workers and the woman he is falling for?
I loved this steamy romance and I loved watching the character growth of both Jolie and Cy. They are so suited for each other but there are so much between them that they have a lot to overcome if they are going to succeed in a relationship.
This was a really sweet read. It was a story about a woman who in her later years has decided to take a trip of the life time to find her roots. This is a beautiful story of one ladies journey of discovery to find herself and maybe find love along the way again. Is it possible to find a true love twice in a lifetime? Laura has found herself in a situation she didn’t imagine she would be. After losing her husband she finds herself alone and unsure of what to do with herself. After joining a book club she is encouraged to follow her passion and find her roots to the England. So despite her nerves about travelling alone she decides to do something’s for herself after all the years of helping others. When she arrives in England her adventure begins as she starts to trace and uncover her heritage. While she is on this journey she meets a gentleman. As their attraction and chemistry grows doubts begin to resurface in Laura’s mind but when feelings grow strong and the gentleman reveals a secret that Laura isn’t sure she can forgive and move past could this be the end of what could be the chance of the happiness and love again.
This is a really sweet, cosy read. I really enjoyed this story and I loved seeing Laura’s growth throughout the story.

This is a enjoyable read full of family drama, twist and turns and romance appearing in a place you least expect it. This is the fourth book in the Olympic Peninsula series. I would recommend reading these books in order as each book focuses on a different member of the family however characters do cross over. Plus you get a better feeling and understanding for the family and the dynamics at work.
In this story we are with Jake O’Connell. Jake moved away from the family and was CEO of the family business. He has always been a driven man stopping at nothing to succeed no matter the cost. When he returns home for his brother David’s wedding he catches everyone by surprise. And they are even more surprised to hear he has resigned as CEO, rent a house and is now a writing thrillers. What has made this man do a complete 180 and change his life so drastically? With his heart heavy from the loss of his friend, resentment towards his brother for leaving him with the family business so he couldn’t pursue his own dreams and finding his muse in Chiara there is a lot of emotions to work through. This is Chiara and Jake’s story. The connection between them is instant but with Chiara being married will anything come of this flame or will it burn out? This is a emotionally rollercoaster of a story as you witness all the family angst, as well as the complicated feelings between Jake and Chiara. I have enjoyed every book in this series so far and I can’t wait for it to continue

This is the 3rd and final book in The Hussler Series. This series has been really enjoyable and a part of me feels sad that it’s now over. This is a steamy second chance enemies to lovers romance. There is so many twists and turns in this story that I wasnt sure if they would get their happy ever after. The author does an incredible job with the characters, they were so likeable even when Dallas was being cocky and arrogant i still couldn’t help but like him.
Dallas and June have a complicated past. They had chemistry and a chance of something special but one incident blew all that to pieces. June is now a successful business woman. She has fought to get to where she is today and she made a promise that she would never do business with Dallas. However her business is now on the rocks and the only person who can inject some money into it is the one person she doesn’t want to do business with. When Dallas and June meet the sparks fly again but can they mix business with pleasure. Dealing with someone in business when there is sexual chemistry between them is a risky move but isn’t most things in business risky? Could this be the the second chance for them to find their happy ever after with each other? Can they become a successful partnership in both their personal and professional relationships? Or will something happy that will tear them apart and cost them everything?
I really enjoyed this paranormal romance. It had elements that I love from warewolves, fated mates, along with secets,curses and danger that kept me gripped. This is a unique story in the sense that the fated mates have a added complication of twins, as well as one of the twins being cursed. Is Marjorie really a fated mate to both of the brothers or just one? With Kyran being cursed is she the one to cure him? The author does an amazing job with the characters and I love how we get an insight into what they both are thinking and feeling. This really made the characters come alive for me. I could feel the connection and pull that Kyran and Marjorie have towards each other without Marjorie understanding why, I could feel Kyran’s pain as he struggles to deal with the curse that could cause fatal consequences to those around him and I felt every ounce of guilt and regret that Marjorie feels after one incident almost cost the lives of her and her friends. There are so many secrets and lies that need to be unravelled and exposed and with a mystery person stalking Marjorie things take a dangerous turn. I thought that Marjorie and Kyran would end up as fully fated mates but the author has left that up in the air. Will she be with Kyran or his twin brother Alexis? I really enjoyed this story and I can’t wait for the next book to see what happens to them and how the story unfolds.

This is the first book in The Archcrusade series. One thing I will say is that this is a very lengthy book to read and with some many points of view and characters that it could end up getting very confusing. However that being said I was able to take the time to read it at a steady pace and I even went back to re read parts and trust me it is well worth the time. This is the type of story I love. I story filled with mystical beings, prophecies, the fight between good and evil, darkness and danger. It is an epic fantasy read that if you allow yourself will fully immerse you and transport you to the time and place the author wants you in. As much as I loved the story and the plot was unique with twists and turns that keep me hooked I feel I will need the re read it again before going onto the next book to remind myself of all the characters, their roles and how they fit together.
This is a very intricate story that is weaved together in a way that will truly captivate you if you allow it. I am looking forward to reading more from this author and to see where the story leads.

M. Hogenson – Review by Kerry Carr
This is the second book in the Shattered Embrace series. I do highly recommend reading these books in order so that you can fully appreciate the characters and their journey together. The author does an incredible job of opening the world of BDSM and Dom/Sub relationships to the reader giving them an insight into things they may not be aware of before. What I really loved about this story is that not only is Ashton learning to become more submissive and trusting of Zachery but at the same time Zachery is learning that he needs more than he previously has before and that Ashton is the only woman to make him feel this way.
Zachery has claimed Ashton as his and is opening her eyes to the world of Dom/sub relationships. Ashton can’t deny the attraction between them and the feeling of wanting to do anything to please Zachery makes fully submitting to him and easier process. Their relationship starts to grow and as a reader I couldn’t help but feel excited with a warm fuzzy feeling for their happy ever after. However the author wasn’t going to let us have it easy. A miscommunication causes damaged between Zachery and Ashton. When something happens with their businesses it has Zachery questioning everything between him and Ashton. Was it all fake? Was Ashton just using him? Heartbroken that Zachery could even think this way Ashton is desperate to get Zachery to listen to her and understand that everything they felt was real but will this stubborn Dom who is now hurt be able to listen to her or will his subborness and his need to protect himself make him close off from the only woman who made him feel more than he ever has before.
This is a steamy read but at the same time it is beautiful to see the development and growth of both characters as they embrace their life. The author has definitely put me on a rollercoaster and at times I wasnt sure they would get their happy ever after or not.
