Though this is book five, all the books in the series can be read as standalones.
Amber has always hated the holiday season and honestly I can’t say that I blame her. She has. Pretty traumatic past and that really can do a number on you. Giovanni has been through some tough times recently but still brings the magic of the holidays for his daughter. Giovanni invites Amber to spend the holidays with his family. Will things develop between them or will Amber keep to herself?
This was such a good quick read. I was bummed it was over so soon! The characters are great and there’s lots of emotion!

A Cold Creek Christmas: A single dad, small town holiday novella is the fifth book in the Reigning Hearts Book. I won’t go into much detail because it is a quick read and I don’t want to give anything away. I have enjoyed other books in this series and was excited to get my hands on a holiday romance. The main characters Amber and Gio are a great contrast in personalities and feelings towards each other. Amber is a holiday grinch and Gio is starting over as a single dad. The two are wonderful and had me falling in love with their story. The only downfall of this book is that I was wanting more. I always enjoy reading books from this author and look forward to reading more in the future.

We start off with the Grinch of Cold Creek Amber. Poor woman had a horrible Christmas childhood experience which caused her to hate the Holidays. Then we have out Christmas Loving Italian who had a divorce and Single dad who is looking for home. The story of these two is absolutely charming for a holiday story. I enjoyed every page and can’t wait to read the other books in this series. Thanks to the author for another great story!

This was a nice, quick Christmas read. Perfect this this time of year! There is a lot of sweetness mixed in with just the right amount of heat from the main characters. Amber is Cold Creek’s Christmas grinch until she meets Gio, a father to a 6-year-old little girl, Talia, who adores the holidays with her dad and Great Grandma. You do get good backstory of the reason Amber doesn’t enjoy the season and how Gio became a single father. I really enjoyed this story and how the characters start to see things through a new perspective and shows the true meaning of Christmas and the season of giving.

Amber hates Christmas the smell she even detest. Giovanni is about to take over his family heritage as a single dad. I am shocked at how much detail the author managed to convey in such a short book. Poor Amber I feel for her. This is such a sweet book although it left me wanting more once it was finished.

This was such a fun and sweet Christmas read! I never hesitate to read anything from this author, or this series as I love to visit Cold Creek and when I saw we were getting a Christmas novella in for the series I was super stoked! This little novella packed quite the punch too! We get such a fun tale about Amber and Gio, and Talia, Gio’s daughter. Amber is this huge grinch and that makes this have some major laugh out loud moments to balance the ooey gooey sweet moments that blend perfectly with your sweet holiday drink of choice while you devour this read. I loved how this read like the perfect holiday movie with that sweet ending that just melts your heart, it is exactly what I needed this holiday season. I can’t wait to see what we get next!

This is a beautiful Christmas romance story. It is book 5 in the Reigning Hearts Series. I love all these stories set in a small town where people find love. This books was especially enjoyable as its based around the Christmas season and I personally find Christmas one of the most romantic times of year. I love the characters of Amber and Gio. Amber is a strong independent woman. She is also the typical grinch around Christmas and has a deep hate of it because of her past. Gio on the other hand loves Christmas and wants to share this job with Amber. To show her how wonderful it can be. The attention and chemistry between them is instant and passionate. When Gio offers for Amber to spend Christmas with his family, will she take a leap of faith and embrace the season and the chance of love or will she turn her back and remain cold just like the snow.

This book was so sweet! For a short novel (novella) this one really packs a punch. I absolutely loved watching Amber’s transformation from Grinch to someone who loves Christmas. This is a great, sweet and romantic holiday story. I loved seeing Amber and Gio’s love story unfold. This book made me laugh and cry so it’s definitely worth the read in my book. This author never disappoints and this book is no exception!

This was the perfect story right in time for the holidays, the characters were very easy to love, and the story was real as real can get! I will admit I smiled through out reading this book, and loved all the holiday like feels it gave to me! I was very happy I got to read this book and enjoy it as I did!
Amber may have had a heart a bit small from past events, but she was still loveable in my own book. I can realte to her so easily, she had painful memories and was hurt and looking at something in a new look could prove to be difficult! She was very easy to connect with. Giovanni, holy crud he is what I would call husband material. He had a heart of gold, and even had the very power maybe to melt a Snow Queen’s frozen heart! He had a lot to love about him! Can two souls who appear so different find common ground and love? Or perhaps they are not so different really at all?
The story was captivating and sweet. It was a book that was hard to put down for me, there were questions for me that I had wonder about, especially in regards to Amber, but everything makes sense as you read through, and I loved that! The author wrote a touching, wonderful, and sweet holiday book!
I loved this book, it was so good. I found it was the perfect book I needed to read to get ready for the holidays, I am so happy I got to enjoy and engage myself into the writing of this wonderful author. If your a Christmas Fan as I am or just a Love Struck Soul like me you will enjoy this book for sure, I highly recommend you read this, no matter what time of the year it is! It truly is one sure to be enjoyed!

This sweet Christmas Novella has everything you could ever want in a HEA story for the holidays. There is a grinch whose heart gets softened, there is a little girl who wants nothing more than a new mommy for Christmas and a man who loves his daughter but is lonely. The secondary characters are amazing people and really help the story along. I would say this story is more character driven but very enjoyable nonetheless. This tale could easily be played out on the TV during Hallmark or Lifetime Small Town Holiday Romances. If your looking for a great Holiday HEA look no further! Definitely worth the read!

This story really shows the true meaning of Christmas. Amber has always hated the holiday season for good reason when her painful past is explained. My heart broke for the sad young girl that has always felt unwanted. Gio senses something in Amber that speaks to his heart from the moment he lays eyes on her. Even though she’s terrified of opening herself up, Gio and Talia quickly start to wriggle their way into her heart. They face a really big stumbling block along the way that is just heartbreaking but the true meaning of Christmas shines through and the ending was so beautiful that it made me tear up. This is a beautiful Christmas romance that you definitely won’t want to miss.

A lovely, sweet Christmas romance which was an enjoyable and engaging read. This wonderfully written novella is a standalone story, although part of a series, all of which I’ve enjoyed. In this story, Amber Tatum the real life Grinch of Cold Creek meets Christmas loving single Dad Giovanni Sentieri. With a little bit of Christmas magic, hopefully they get their HEA. Bar owner Amber’s hatred of Christmas stems from bad memories from her childhood, and so she now doesn’t join in with all the small towns annual traditions. Amber also craves a family of her own and when she meets Italian chef Giovanni she starts to think her dreams might come true. Gio is ready to make a home for himself and his daughter, and has taken over his grandmother’s Italian Café in Cold Creek. Struggling to balance being a single father and work as well as getting over a devastating divorce Gio was not looking for a new relationship, but when he meets Amber he can not deny their connection. Gio is determined to make Amber love Christmas as much as he does and so invites her to spend the holiday with him and his family. Amber has to choose to either take a chance at love and a family or stay as she is, as the self proclaimed Grinch of Cold Creek. This is a contemporary Christmas romance, and I loved Gio and Amber and was cheering them on hoping they would get their HEA. The instant attraction and chemistry between the couple came across in the story and led to some steamy scenes. The wonderfully Christmas setting of Cold Creek was brought to life by the descriptive narrative and I felt immersed in small town living. This heartwarming novella really put me in a festive mood.

A steamy romance tale that has all the feels. This is the fifth book in this series and as always this author makes the story come alive. I have read all of this authors work and as soon as I see she has a new book coming out I jump straight in, no hesitation. It is a second chance story that takes you to a magical place where you completely lose yourself. The story is everything from romantic and sweet, to sorrow and loss, painful memories to love and healing. The wonderful characters, and engaging storyline, along with the beautiful setting this romance story will have you enthralled. Painful memories make what is supposed to be the most magical time of year painful for her. Christmas is his favourite time of year and when he learns her story he wants to make it a special time for her. Reviewed by @jennadb

This is the 5th book in this amazing series. It is classed as a novella but it’s quite a long novella. I’ve loved this author for a few years now and have loved every book in this series so far so was excited to get another book to lose myself in. I certainly did lose myself in this book. I just kept on reading and did not want to put it down. This is the story of Amber (a total Christmas hating grinch) and single dad Gio who loves Christmas time. I absolutely loved reading about Amber and Gio. Both of them are amazing characters and I was totally rooting for them to have a much deserved HEA. This book has one thing that I really love and that is an adorable kid. Gio’s daughter Talia is such a sweet little girl that you just have to fall in love with her. I’m sure it’s more due to Talia that Amber began to see Christmas in a whole new light. I’m completely amazed at how this author manages to write such amazing romance stories with fantastic characters that I just lose myself in and I just can’t wait to read whatever wonders she dreams up next.

I absolutely adore books by this author and this one did not disappoint! I am so glad that this book was my first read of December. What a sweet love story between Amber, Gio and essentially Talia as well. The story was short and flowed very nicely. It wasn’t burdened with unnecessary drama to take away from the true intention of the story. The ending was beautiful and the overall arc of the story was well done. I cannot wait to read more stories by this author, I haven’t been disappointed yet!

What a fantastic quick read. It was hard not to instantly fall in love with Amber and Giovanni. I am always amazed how authors can fit so much detail in shorter books but this book succeeded in giving great detail while not bogging down the story. At the beginning of the story, I was unsure as to how I felt about Amber and Gio but I knew that Gio was the hope that Amber so desperately needed. I enjoyed following along as their relationship evolved and the grew and felt my heart break when things went bad and hope when events went well. This was the first book I read in the series and I will definitely be going to the beginning and start from book one.

I enjoyed being pulled into the story by the characters from the beginning. They are connectable and truly made the story come to life. A well written story about Amber and Giovanni. She is a person who does not like Christmas and he is a single dad. They are about to be bitten by Christmas Magic for a chance at romance. They are great characters that I found myself hoping they would find their happiness by the end of their story. A story of family and love that you won’t be able to put down until the last page. There is great growth with the plot as well as the characters throughout the story. This is a must read holiday story. I highly recommend this story and this author.

Small town pub owner, Amber Tatum, craves a family to call her own, especially during the holidays. But painful childhood memories make her steer clear of the annual traditions the small town of Cold Creek has to offer. When a handsome Italian chef saunters into her bar and jingles her bells, she wonders if her Christmas wish might possibly come true.
Giovanni Sentieri is ready to put down roots and take over his grandmother’s Italian Café. After a devastating divorce, he finds himself as a single father, struggling to balance work and life. The last thing he expected was to fall for a spunky bar owner. So when he learns about her tragic childhood after a few too many shots of whiskey, he invites her to spend the holidays with his family.
Will the magic of Christmas bring this couple together, or will the self-proclaimed Grinch of Cold Creek turn her back on the possibility of love and family?

This second book in The Stardust Duet is amazing. Phillip and Kat are finally together after being in separate centuries. Phillip risks his life to retrieve his mother’s ring that he wants Kat to have. Phillip plans for them to marry and work together for the rest of their lives. Decisions that have to be made may keep them apart. This is a romance story for the ages.

So much happens which involves the past again that you won’t be able to take your hands off this book till you know! I read this as soon as I finished the previous book in this Duet and loved it as much as the first. It’s really a direct continuation of the first story, and there’s slightly more angst where the first had more mystery. There’s plenty of sweetness, chemistry, and emotion, just like in the first novel. I really think the author captures the romance between the two main characters Kat and Phillip without getting too sappy, and we get to see more of Phillip’s character arc this time. This novel really does not disappoint!

I adore the movie Somewhere in Time and I also love this author, so when I saw the blurb of this novel I knew I had to read it. And it lived up to my expectations. The story is romantic and the characters are full of chemistry, and although it’s cliche, it’s still suspenseful and very sweet. The author really takes the reader on an emotional rollercoaster, and there are lots of details that made this a wonderful read. I read the next in the series straight after!

The second and final installment of Phillip and Kat’s timeless love does not disappoint. Poignant, romantic and suspenseful this story takes Phillip back to the past to secure his mother’s ring to use to propose to the love of his life. He finds himself trapped in the past unable to return to Kat’s side. He must choose how he will navigate his life now and hope that he can get back to his dream. A wonderful conclusion to this amazing story.

A beautiful ending to a beautiful story; I love this book. This author breathed life into the characters of Phillip and Kat. An enchanting, refreshing and enthralling story. I enjoyed their journey together and how they navigated the unknown in finding out the limits of their new reality. I felt their fear and uncertainty of the possibility of living without each other. The storyline is not far-fetched but realistic in the love that Kat and Philip share. A tale as old as time, Love’s Reverie should be your next read.

Love’s Reverie is the 2nd book in the Stardust Duet. It should be read after Love’s Refrain, to understand what is going on. The book continues the love story of Kat and Phillip, a love so strong, it spread across time. The story bounces back and forth between 1947 and present day, as the two use a magical mirror to time travel. This story had a lot of ups and downs, and at one point I was nearly heartbroken for the couple. I hoped things would have turned out better for them, but I was happy with the story and its happily ever after. I love the part James played in their story, and thought he fit perfectly into each era. Kat and Phillip are both old fashioned, and I loved that about them. There were a couple adult scenes, so mature audiences only. That aside, I highly recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a good old fashioned romance story with a happy ending.
